Made two attempts at coming here to give them a ridiculous amount of money for a phone upgrade. First attempt their "systems were down". Like, all of them apparently. Second attempt I showed up an hour before closing and was told I was too late. Gave me a number to telesales to try and do it over the phone and do same day in-store pickup. Called telesales and they were closed. Went back into store to let them know and suddenly they were able to fit me in. Told them which phone I wanted. They didn't have it in stock. Gave them a different phone as a back up option. They were out of that one too. Verizon is the new DMV. read more

The dude took like another 20 min just to give us a box and a label and told us to take it to ups to drop it off.. we get there just for the lady at ups to tell us no this is for fed ex so basically wasted our time. I'm recently a new customer with Verizon. I came to the Burbank Empire store to purchase a power adapter and had a question about my new plan. I was put on the wait list and 3rd in line. As I was looking around waiting for my turn, another Verizon employee came up to me asking for my sign in info again as it had been erased by accident. No biggie. I willingly gave this and asked the gentlemen what adapters for home and car I would need for my new iPhone 15. He clearly was bothered that I was asking a question and said in a rude condescending tone, "mam, I dont know what kind of car u have to make that suggestion". I explained to him what type of adapter I would need for my car to which he didn't bother listening just said someone would help me when it was my turn. Now, I could understand some what If he was busy , however he was mostly definitely not. He preceded to chat and laugh about his prior evening with the store security guard. He could've easily taken 30 seconds out of his time to show some interest in providing customer service and point me in h right direction. Yet he chose to be rude, arrogant and dismissive. I waited patiently for my turn, and while doing so observed just rude behavior with the customers who came in after me. I and will not be back to this location. I bought a phone online, they did not explain the full process upon purchase, the manager would not let me pick up my purchase after I get as notified it was ready. I don't know why this location has been given so many negative reviews. I was greeted graciously, and even though I did not have an appointment, a lovely rep, Corinna, was instantly assigned to me. I am a technophobe - she kindly, patiently, and good-humoredly answered all of my questions and concerns, showed me how to do things (correctly - new phone), and asked me to do them, so that she was assured that i understood and could do it myself. Went into the Burbank "Company Store", today, Sun. 7-17-22. I wish I had gotten the name of the rude a-hole, who was supposedly helping us. All he did was argue, in between every statement, I had to hear "I can appreciate that", then he would argue. Tried to make me change my plan, saying because I was getting the S22 Ultra, I had to have a different plan, which of course cost more. No matter what I asked, I was told "no" you will need to make an appointment and come back. My husband and I have been with Verizon over 25 yrs. My husband called customer loyalty, at this moron's recommendation, then he argued with her, telling her he would not honor what she was telling him to do for us. I finally yelled loudly, this place is worse then a used car lot. You have done nothing to help, you have done nothing but frustrate us, I asked him "are you going to do anything to accommodate us"? He said No. Even the lady on the line from customer loyalty was shocked. She just kept apologizing for how rude he was. Verizon really needs to do something about the rude people they hire. They don't tell you the truth when you trade in your phone I traded my iPhone 14 Pro Max and they told me I would get the credit of 800 then I could pay the remaining balance , now they are telling me I gave my old iPhone for free and I would still have to pay the remaining balance of 1200 if I pay ahead of time. Unless I wait 3 years. Now I'm going to have to switch to at& t. Bad business practices. They don't tell you have to wait until 3 years. Then that is when you get the discount but you have to pay 23 dollars extra on your bill for 3 years so that is 800 dollars you paid extra and gave your phone also so you gave them your old phone for 800 then you paid 800 in 3 years wow scum bags I'm switching!!!! read more

I am rather disgusted to say the least. Austin, the sales rep helped me switch 4 lines from ATT to Verizon. I switched the lines because I run my business over my phone and was having signal issues every now and then. After switching all 4 lines to Verizon, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF MY PHONES HAD ANY SERVICE. Upon Austin calling Verizon headquarters the rep Regina clearly stated that a message was sent out that morning to all locations stating there is a nationwide outage on transfers. Apparently this was missed by Austin and numbers had been released by ATT already, meaning my phone number wasn't on any carrier. I heard other employees telling other customers that this was an issue. I, however, was not once notified until it was too late. The rep told me it would take 24-48 with no service to resolve the issue. Furthermore, Austin completely failed to ask my if any of my 4 lines were locked or unlocked. Again after switching he begins to mention that some phones are locked. He states the other phones, which he assigned esims to would work no problem once the service was fixed on Verizon's end. The locked phone he states are an easy fix. He attempts to help me fix one of them. Nothing he did helped. ATT denied his request to unlock the phone. I sat on the phone for hours trying to figure it out. TURNS OUT ALL 4 PHONES WERE LOCKED and could have never been transferred until unlocked. Several of the Verizon customer service reps that I spoke with told me that's one of the questions that should have been addressed immediately. Apologizing for his mistakes. After 8 hours of back and forth with ATT and Verizon. 2 of the 4 phones now have service. Those are phones he gave physical sims for. The other phones don't have eSIM setup which again he not once mentioned. And ATT and Verizon can't set them up because the number is floating from one to the other in transfer. The reason for this review is because you can't reach a store manager directly, so I hope this finds one. And when I called Austin to tell him how much trouble and headache he caused me and is continuing to. He responded by it's not his responsibility to check if phones are at least unlocked before doing the transfer. I don't know if it's due to poor training or just a poor employee that represents this branch. But Beyond upsetting. Beyond unprofessional and I would highly recommend to stay as far away from that employee as possible until some change. read more

I was pressed for time and had to leave . Upon my return , I was helped by LeRoy he was very kind and knowledgeable , he resolved the issue very quickly . Wow... truly appalled by what just happened here. Jorge the manager should not work in custom service. We were given misinformation about picking up an order and needed help to rectify this issue. Jorge was immediately cold and ready to bite our head off. He was not helpful and he was extremely rude and condescending, for no reason. You can not get anyone at a store, all your calls are directed to a call center. I am trying to return their equipement, which the customer service said they will send me a return kit and it has taken almost four months. I ask to drop the equipement off at the store but that was not allowed. After four months, the customer service said I could drop the equipement off any of the stores only to find out that is not true. None of the local stores will take the equipement, only the corporate store, so I want to confirm that before having to yet drive out to their store but it is impossible to get through. At the price they are charging, you would think the customer service is better. read more

My phone was working backwards on Halloween. I went to the store for a new phone like whatever was in stock but not what I wanted. And the sales guy discovered that I just needed a new cord for now. Great customer service. So, I'm happy. NOTE: The iPhone X has been on preorder and it's sold out already. Officially, it's not in the market until Friday, November 3rd 2017... I was at this store two days ago. I was happily surprised by how polite, professional, and super helpful everyone was. The guy who helped me was named Andy, and he was great. He even arranged for Verizon customer assistance to call me right then, regarding a billing issue I wanted resolved. The lady did indeed phone me immediately and took care of everything. I've been to several Verizon stores over the years, the corporate ones are definitely a million times better than the others. But this particular store, outshines the rest. This women is amazing she helped us purchase our phones, also gave us instruction on what to do with our old phones and she got us a good plan. It is a shame that such a large company cannot hire professionals. I have been a Verizon customer for decades and a few weeks ago and got a brand, new phone for $1200 and a $50 screen protector screen protector. They must have installed it incorrectly as it did not last a few weeks. My previous phone from the Apple store lasted over three years. I came into the store so they can fix it and they refused to. The worst customer service. The store was practically empty and they did not alert me to it being my turn like they said they would (I finally got the text when I left the store) and did not help me until I walked past the representative who was supposed to help me and looked at them (I saw that it was my turn but he just stood there on his computer). I was told by Verizon on the phone to go to the store for help with my issue even after I verified multiple times if that was the right thing to do. The customer service rep (heavyset South Asian guy on the left) was extremely rude and condescending about my issue even after I nicely explained my situation and what Verizon told me on the phone. He could have said the same thing but in an apologetic courteous manner. I usually have a good experience with Verizon customer service so that is why I stick with them, but this makes me want to leave the company after 10+ years of loyalty. This person needs to be kicked out of the company or retrained until he acts with more service. He claimed that the Verizon Up program was discontinued last year but yet I still continue to earn Verizon dollars in my account under the verizon Up program. My Verizon phone app even still has a section called VerizonUp where you can see the balance of the money I earn each month from the program. I stood in the store and used their office phone to call Verizon customer service and they verified that I was correct before transferring me to the verizon Up department. Jorge begrudgingly said "alright you made your point". The whole reason I went to the store is because a chat rep in the. I purchased a mobile Wi-Fi Orbic device from them 1 week ago and the battery won't hold a charge. I attempt to take it back yesterday, and after waiting almost 2 hours to be seen, they tell me the WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE BATTERY. Checking in has gotten challenging now as you have to see an employee to check in then you find out how many people are in front of you. It seems like the days of fixing cell phones are gone now since I went there for my defective screen and was referred to my insurance so I could file a claim. When I asked about a smart watch for the Google Pixel 2, I was informed that no smart watch was compatible with my phone, but the Palm is an option if I want a smaller phone that requires its own plan. Trashcan customer service! Came in just to purchase a phone case and had to wait 10 mins before any of the workers would acknowledge me to be "checked in". I had no issue using the kiosk just needed to ask a basic question. Several people standing around "helping" but again, it's 1 person checking in and he runs off every time a customer appears to be approaching him. 3 times I've been at this location with the exact same service and finally had to write a review. From the manager down it is horrible!!!!!!! I get some people are rude customers but treating people that way as soon as they walk through your door!? Atrocious. I should have stayed with ATnT. I ordered a tablet as part of a promotion and six months later I still haven't received it. Every time I contact customer service, I am treated like a new customer. I have to describe everything that's happened all over again. I spend an hour resolving the issue, they say they'll ship it again. They issue me a ticket and nothing happens.
