I first met Chrissy when I visited the store and wanted to get more data for my JETPACK,she looked at my account and said she could help me and do I know about the new Phones available.I told her I was currently interested in only data for now,but I may need one in a few months. So off she goes, repairs my account for better management and more data. off I go... after the first month I noticed my data was restricted to 15 bytes per month. Chrissy was out,so I came back 3 different times for Chrissy. NO Chrissy. After a morning dentist visit,i stopped in again to see if that really nice,very knowledgeable Chrissy, was available but No,so I thought she must be the Manager,as she was so helpful kind,friendly and just plain easy to do business with,she must be out helping other Verizon locations. I went in and waited for the Verizon tech to get off their phone to speak to me. The tech,finally got off the personal phone call,it was not business. I greet the tech warmly and request more data for my JETPACK,so here it comes, the tech,i have the name,but I will not disclose the name,instructed me,that I have must purchase not one,not two,but 3 additional jetpacks to achieve streaming.I know you think I should know better,BUT,im not savvy in technology,if you want a house built I can do that blind folded,but asked what a megabyte is,and I will say a SHARK. So now the tech tells me,i only pay for tax and everything is taken care of,so off I go to use my 4 jetpacks, Four Jetpacks what a idiot I am. so now I'm home,the thinking takes over and I call around the other stores to see if this is correct for 4 jetpacks. NOPE,you only ask for more data and they will give out to you for only $60 bucks a month,you get 100 mb. So now I am paying for FOUR $ jetpacks,i receive 60 MB per month for all four,stop laughing so hard. OH YES ,Now I need to mention,i have a 2 year contract for each jetpack,thats 6 years of contracts for 60 MB per month. Did the sale tech make a commission of me,yes Did the sales tech cheat me,yes Did the sales tech do this to others,i would say yes. So I go back and try to talk to the sales tech,suddenly the tech is too busy to talk to me,so I go another day,guess what the store is closed,just a tiny note that said I will return in 20 mins.,after standing 2 hours I left. This happens 7 days in a row,i only went in the Morning,thats when I had Chrissy successfully assist me. so I call the place,14 days in a row,they don't answer. so I drive to the store,guess what,the tech is sitting to the right of the store talking on a personal phone,while the store phone rings,rings rings. Now the tech goes into the store and I'm 4th inline,The tech is helping a friend find a phone,so I see where this is going,i leave again I keep calling,i want to stop bye, but I have to stop for a week for more surgery, so here I sit,with no coverage,because all the jetpacks ran out of data, I cant do my medical stuff I need to do,such as schedule my next cancer surgery. I can't call 911,cuz my phone is out of data. I Have Been With VERIZON for 17 years,yes 17 years of never missing payment. I do own stock in Verizon,and here is the "Thanks" I get. What I want: 100 data at $60 per month for my JETPACK Dang if Chrissy was there I would have been a satisfied customer,and I still will buy the phone from Chrissy, In fact,i am about to start a IPO and the company will need about 100 phones,but I doubt Verizon will be my carrier from here on out. So Folks,please don't get scammed,especially avoid being taken advantage of during this COVID19 global pandemic,that we are all trying to escape death from. I don't know any person that would stopped this low,to get a few extra bucks. Maybe do a character background check on your reps. Don't let Verizon say,OH They are independent contractors,like 'Celluphone" .They make the employee go thru a Tier system for payment,so the more they can load you up,the percentage of commission increases for them. My experience was like others who have posted negative reviews: putting unauthorized items on my bill (screen cleaner; a setup charge he did not mention beforehand) was just the grand finale. Before that there was the fact that noone was there during open hours and no note was posted saying if or when someone would return. When John did show up he did not apologize for the inconvenience. I bought an iPhone 12 ProMax and he put on Liquid Glass in addition to a screen protector and case, having persuaded me into more protection that I probably need. His work left some areas of cloudiness on the screen visible at certain angles, as well as a dust speck that showed up a few days later as a white spot underneath the screen protector. When I got the survey in my email I responded in detail (as above), gave him a 6 (on a 10 scale) and requested a manager contact me. John called me to complain about my evaluation and accused me of lying! I went to the good Verizon store at 1440 Capitola Rd to get the screen properly cleaned and was happy to pay for a new screen protector to get the job done right. I will never go anywhere near that GoWireless store again! Clearly, it is a systemic culture problem there as witness the other negative reviews, not just a bad apple employee. Verizon should be informed about this and deal with it. read more

Read and reread everything before signing. My salesman misrepresented the More Everything program and it appears like I am on the hook for about $850. I even questioned the free phone deal but bought his argument that the new phone was free because I was sending back my current phone. Once again, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. I have been with Verizon for about 10 years and never had a problem until now. Sadly, changing carriers is complex because the new phone (which I was duped into buying on the installment plan) is specific to Verizon. So while I can leave, I still have to pay for the phone and then purchase another phone with the new carrier. These phone salesmen are the "used car dealers" of the 21st century-BEWARE!! read more

More fraud to report. DO NOT go to this store. I went in to buy a new phone. Kristy didn't know what she was doing. After two hours of her scanning products and staring at the monitor, I finally left. The next day, Verizon attaches a $194.00 bill to my account. They said I purchased two phones which I did not. That same week all of my photos disappeared from my phone; apparently, they were uploaded to a new phone, but Verizon doesn't know which phone they were uploaded to. They are simply gone. I am really heartbroken because I had traveled to India and Africa, and all my photos from those trips are now gone. We've looked everywhere for them: iCloud, etc. Just gone. Now it's a month later, and Verizon has attached a late fee to the $194.00 dollars; I still do not have a new phone; and, all of my photos from the past 10 years are gone. I have spoken with numerous people at Verizon, and they all pretend they have fixed the billing problem, but they haven't: the bill remains the same. I am sick to my stomach from having to waste my time dealing with Verizon this past month. Scam artists at every level of Verizon and GoWireless. read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could. The "manager" at this store did not know ANYTHING about phones. She charged us for a phone case and screen protector that did not even fit the phone. On the receipt we were charged for 3 different phone chargers that we did NOT buy! We just wanted a phone case and screen protector that fit the phone. She picked out the screen protector and phone case herself and said it would fit. Then she proceeded to put the screen protector and phone case on without asking and charged us for the phone chargers. When she gave back the phone we immediately noticed that it did not fit at all and she would not refund us until she became frustrated, snapped the screen protector in half and acted as if it was our all fault that she sold us non suitable products. I questioned him several times and each time he said there was no charge. He was not interested in being helpful. The store was dirty and disorganized. I put off the inevitable visit to Verizon for as long as I could (6 months)...but it was time to make the trip. I needed to get my voice mail up and running correctly and text issues resolved caused from switching phones (Iphone to Samsung). Corey took the time to work with level 1 and level 2 tech support. After 1 hour on the phone-waiting-Corey got through and the level 2 tech expert reset the software on their backend server, and WHALA my phone voicemail issues disappeared! There will be occasional text issues-but that's because Apple phones talk a different language than my Samsung. Otherwise, it's all good. Verizon and this store especially seem to have forgotten that customer service actually matters and people actually matter. People's time matters. This is my third trip to this store inside of one week. Why? Because initially the employee screwed up our entire plan and entered our new purchases incorrectly as well. Not to mention screwed up by turning on our new phones while the old ones were still being used; which in itself created a nightmare for set up since the new phones required a software update we had already installed on our old phones, but our home computer and iTunes didn't recognize that. This resulted in multiple new SIM cards that also didn't correct the problem and an additional trip back to the store. I was finally able to override iTunes and get our phones backed up onto the new ones at 1am as I would be heading out to work 5 hours later. We traded in one of the 5 phones on our account which we have not yet received any credit or redemption codes, prompting this trip back 9 days later. While I'm waiting my turn 40 minutes later I realize that I have been skipped in line as people who have arrived after me are being helped. I ask the guy who checked me in and he says I'm sorry I thought you were someone else and I erased you. So nice that I mean enough to Verizon to be erased. WTAF Verizon?!!!!! Turns out the phone we traded in was sitting around on a desk for over a week because that part of Verizon wasn't functioning that day. The phone had been wiped so they didn't know who it belonged to!!! All of the male staff we worked with were completely incompetent. Thank goodness for Lauren. She managed to straighten out the issue with the missing phone. I was impressed given all the idiocy leading up to this point. read more

I came in here with my mom after her phone was having problems. The associate that help us, Jesse, was extremely helpful. He helped my mom get a new phone and patiently explained the process of transferring her content over to the new phone using an app since she didn't have her phone backed up. He even gave her a mini tutorial on her new phone and taught her about some cool features it had (things you normally have to figure out yourself). All in all very pleasant experience. read more

Had two visits recently to Verizon and am so thankful I went there. As an owner of a small company I would hire Caleb in a second. His customer service was so above par with what I am used to. Extremely knowledgeable, took the time to explain things, great attitude about life and a pleasure to work with. I sent my daughter back in that same day to talk with Caleb, and she ended up with Corey, and he was great too. On the day I went back in to pick up my phone Caleb was walking out the door to have lunch with a friend who was waiting outside. He saw me walking in, remembered my name, and spent the next 45 minutes with me while his hungry friend waited outside. If only everything else in life was this easy! I had originally posted a bad review of this store due to an issue I had with a screen protector for my iPhone 7+ that wasn't fitting properly and the customer service I received, which wasn't so great. But the District Manager of the store called me to apologize for what happened and he assured me that is NOT the way they do business. He talked to me for about 15 minutes and he let explain my side of what happened and he said he would make sure this didn't happened in the future and would talk to the staff there to make sure they have better training. I want people to be aware that a Verizon Wireless Neighborhood Store is a third party business. It's not a Verizon Corporation. They don't have the same rules and regulations. I purchased an IPhone at this store. After having the phone for 7 days I decided to return it. (Verizon has a 14 day return policy) However, this store has a NO return policy on IPhone's that I was not aware of. After talking to the store manager he approved my return with a $70.00 re-stocking fee. "RIDICULOUS" This place is such a rip-off ! I will never go to this store again. Just an FYI if you purchase an IPhone from an apple store there is no fee for returns ! read more

Dustin was very helpful and made our experience really easy! Great customer service. My wife's phone wouldn't receive pictures. Dustin figured out why and fixed it.
