This review is for the staff and location. I visited this Verizon store last Tuesday to activate my new phone. The process took approximately four and a half hours, and while it was an unexpectedly lengthy visit, the professionalism and dedication of the staff made all the difference. Victor assisted us throughout the process. He has worked for Verizon for 18 years, and his experience and commitment were immediately evident. He was attentive, patient, and determined to ensure that everything was resolved successfully. The activation process required considerable coordination with customer service, and Victor handled each step with calm efficiency and genuine care. He represents the very best of Verizon and is a true asset to the company. The store itself is clean, spacious, and well-organized. Parking was readily available on a weekday. Although the chairs in the waiting area could be more comfortable, the overall environment was pleasant and professional. I appreciate Victor's exceptional service and dedication. I sincerely hope Verizon continues to support employees like him who embody the quality and reliability that originally led me to choose Verizon as my carrier. read more

Came into Carlsbad Verizon off Marron Rd. to buy 4 new iPhone 8+. ELLIN KIM was there to help us do exactly that. She was on loan for the day (feb 18th) from the Encinitas Verizon Store. We thought she was really efficient and was doing everything she could to help us afford our new plans and phones. We were told after giving them $440.00 (which was very difficult and we scraped up just to have it done) that we would not have to give them any more money for five weeks and that we would have enough time to save the money and we knew that was possible, so we were very happy that they worked with us. We have been struggling for a few years to get back on her feet, I am just getting back to work and I needed a reliable phone and service to do that. 6 1/2 days later we woke up to no money in the bank they took every penny another 400 and something so now we paid $1000.00 in less than 7 days. Unbelievable! And now I'm not sure how My husband can get back-and-forth to work due to having no gas Thank you for Verizon for making it very difficult I don't know what I'm gonna do Ellin Kim really hurt as bad. This review is for the Verizon Wireless in Carlsbad. I found this place by accident during a visit to Marshalls which is next door. I don't know anything about phones so I wasn't sure what to expect. When I came in I was helped by William who was working the front counter. He greeted me promptly and politely and asked how he could help me out. I explained my situation in that I had no experience with cellular phones or how much a plan cost. He explained to me in detail the advantages of the Verizon network and the price of the phone plans and data in a very easy to understand manner. I told him I didn't have a ton of money and instead of making me feel bad Will said he would help me figure out a solution that would work for both my needs and budgets. I really appreciated the way he took the time to help me out and not push me towards more expensive plans and phones I didn't need nor could afford. I was back in the store January 19th and this time worked with Darrel. I don't agree with the current reviews from Brian W and VN or Elizabeth G. We are all going through tough transitions this year and even in the busy holiday season, the entire team in three different visits (2 in December flanking big holidays and 1 just last week) myself and my family members received great service. Yes we waited in line outside briefly, I also made an appointment for the last visit as it is a nice courtesy and helps them help you. It's hard to please everyone, but this store's employees go above and beyond to give it their best shot. I am not related to ANYONE in the store nor have a bias. I am a long standing local business owner and understand how important quality product with exceptional service is and I recognize both here! Steven Han our Business account manager personally solved a handful of missteps, mistakes and dropped promises by previous Verizon Staff members responsible for setting up our new business location. Steven aggressively handled a series connectivity issues by evaluating the needs of our business, taking swift action to replace improper equipment and services and within a few days we had all our problems solved and needs met. He followed up several times over the next 3 weeks to assure that everything was working and to offer any assistance after that. The Verizon Store in Carlsbad is run by the worst sales reps I have ever met - they are sleazy, condescending and only interested in making commission and could care less about providing customer service to Verizon customers. The manager, Brett, is the worst and I have seen him on many occasions be rude and totally unhelpful to customers, and even witnessed him causing an elderly couple leave in such frustration and aggravation, I thought they would have a stroke. If you need any kind of real customer service support and you have a Verizon service, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. You will have better luck calling the Verizon Customer Care # at 800-922-0204 -- the CSRs and TSRs are there to help and NOT CONCERNED about making a commission off of you. read more

I wish I didn't even have to give this location a star. They are completely awful. Anthony and Horacio have no regard for customers what-so-ever. Horrible customer service.. And no common sense at all. This place should be shut down. I have never dealt with anyone as rude as Anthony and Horacio before.. After going to the verizon near my house I realized their hours ended at 8pm. I looked up another location and found this one with hours till 9pm. I drove all the way to the other side of the town to get to it just to find that it closed at 8. I knocked on the door because other people were obviously inside. After the workers ignored me, some Kim Jong un lookin dude walks up and motioned to me "not my problem." What a waste of time. My husband and I would like to give Kelsey the highest commendation possible. She is not only polite and friendly but her knowledge about all phones and tablets is amazing. I walked into the store one evening having lost my iphnoe, completely devastated. After receiving my new iphone, Kelsey was able to restore EVERYTHING from my lost iphone to my new iphone. I've had terrible customer service experiences at this location. Despite being the closest to my house, every visit has been frustrating. The staff seems unwilling to help with simple requests and often tries to turn customers away, including my wife and others I've observed. Their attitude comes across as lazy and rude. I've since started going to the Verizon store on Douglas Dr., where the customer service is excellent. It's disappointing, especially as a new customer.
