I had called ahead to check out the lay of the land and chatted with Anthony, one of the managers, he made me feel reassured ahead of time that our Wish kid was going to get a great experience. This morning I came into the store to wait for wish kid and met with Anthony, Brian, Maddie and Carlos. We discussed what kind of entrance my wish kid would like. I was appreciative that the employees were willing to go all out to welcome our 9 year old kid into the store (applause, doors opening etc). But ultimately we decided that wouldn't be value added for our kid, so we went with the low key option. When our kid got to the store Maddie had the exact model of the watch our kid was interested in ready to go and they had Carlos dedicated to helping our kid get his phone set up. I could tell that Carlos has helped many people with their products with the way that he gave clear and easy directions and had a lot of patience. What a great experience. Our kid was thrilled with his new watch.... thanks Apple!

The vibe…read moreof store was little busy but I've been to many Apple stores state wide there was always someone who greeted you even during holidays seasons when it's busier, this store nope no greeting. I found the case rack had an idea of what wanted was probably looking the cases for good 15 minutes no one asked me if i needed helped. I tried looking for anyone that could help me but everyone was busy and looking for someone who was finishing up with apple employee. They would offer assistance to people coming in after me it got to the point where I had to interrupt someone so I could give yall my money and leave! While at the store another customer kept asking me for assistance as if I'm an Apple employee I was not wearing anything that they issue Apple employees my shirt had Disneyland across the front and obviously no name tag. My overall experience here was weird and felt unwelcomed. Staff were extremely unhelpful which is concerning bc there's was at least 20 people on the floor. Now what really makes this experience a full home run is the case they sold me has to be fake in matter of week my case start forming air bubbles on the sides and was deteriorating and I'm not dropping my phone regularly or anything rough to warrant this condition. My mom has the same case for her phone and when I got case from different location the quality of the case felt so much more authentic. Would not recommend this location they seem to have a very particular preference in their clientele. May not get any assistance and or assumed your the help if don't look like their preferable demographic. Due to a personal emergency I could not return the case and I was stopping by for a quick trip wish I went somewhere else.

    it was a pleasure to be serviced by mark…read more he took care of my old iPhone (se2), prescribing a solution and disclosing a competitive price before service began. overall service took about 20 min in and out. i actually came while he was occupied with a client offsite (which is at no point a fault at all), and decided to wait until he got back, and he was professional in handling the compensation. mark is very accommodating, offering me a beverage while i waited, and giving me a ride home since i ubered to the store. we had small talk during the drop off and it is clear that he is an earnest man. i made sure to tip him for the experience, and i am completely satisfied with the experience at pcs connection.

    My iPhone stopped working after water damage while I was on vacation in Hawaii. I had purchased one…read moreof those "waterproof" phone pouches from Amazon to capture some underwater footage, but unfortunately water got inside and my phone started having issues the next day. I found Mark through Yelp and decided to give him a try based on his great reviews and the fact that he was local. He was able to diagnose the problem, replace the necessary parts and get my phone working again, saving me the expense and hassle of buying a new one. The repair was completed quickly and so far everything is working well. I'm hopeful it continues to hold up long-term. Thanks again, Mark, for helping save my phone and all the data on it!

    My phone has been having issues since the Verizon outage. I initially brought it to the Encinitas…read morelocation on the day of the outage. They were very rude and wouldn't even look at my phone even though I explained my issue may not be related. I reset my network settings myself, and it seemed to work for a while. Fast forward to today when I started having issues with my phone again and decided to take it to this location. I could not make or receive calls or get texts that weren't sent from another iPhone. I walked in just after another gentleman, and he was being helped first. There was only one employee helping people. The employee asked my information and started working on my phone while simultaneously helping the other customer. Eventually, another employee came from a side room and took over. His name was Julian and he was very helpful and friendly. He asked what I had done already, which were things he probably would've tried so saved him time. Then he did a little further research and decided my sim was failing. I'm not sure if I've ever replaced my SIM card in my older iPhone. He replaced it and my phone worked again instantly. I hope that was all that it was because it was an easy fix. He then offered me an upgrade with a new plan. I declined as I'm not ready to do that right now. Maybe I'm imagining it but my phone seems faster already. Thanks for your help Julian. It was a much better experience than in the Encinitas store.

    I live close by and have been to this store a few times over the years. Usually just to do a simple…read moreupgrade on a phone or drop off an old phone. On each occasion over the years I have always been helped by a brand new employee. It's very frustrating as I simply want to get my new phone and get out of there. Instead I have to sit and wait while the employee asks the manager questions every step of the way. What should take a few minutes takes much longer as the employee is being coached through the process. Two employees helping one customer EVERY time I come in. I think the employees should 100% know how to do a phone upgrade or exchange. I don't appreciate my time being used for training purposes. I probably will avoid this store from now on. This store needs to become a corporate location. The franchised standards at this location are horrible.

He became increasingly creepy as their interaction progressed. He locked the front door, and had my sister go sit in a back room. He had both of her phones (old and new). He became more and more sexual, asking her out and trapping her in an employees only room in the back. She had to fake laugh and fawn her way out of there. It was absolutely traumatizing! She had to return this Sunday to turn over her old phone and was afraid to go alone. Corporate and the police have been notified, and after all this the store manager will not call her back after multiple attempts to contact. The employees refuse to call their manager or give out her (Megan apparently) phone number. The creep IS STILL WORKING THERE! Verizon seems to be completely unconcerned for the safety of their customers. We're definitely switching carriers.

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so frustrating that I feel compelled to…read moreshare it. I purchased a brand-new iPhone from Best Buy that turned out to be defective. I attempted to return it immediately, but after waiting approximately 1.5 hours, I was told the system was down and to come back another day. On my next visit, after another lengthy wait, I was told to drive to AT&T to have the phone unlocked. AT&T informed me they could not help because the device was sold and controlled by Best Buy. I then returned to Best Buy and was told to wait 48 hours and try again. Over the course of multiple visits, my family spent well over 10 hours trying to resolve what should have been a straightforward exchange for a defective phone. The final visit alone took approximately 5 hours to complete the return, replacement, and data transfer. What is most disappointing is not that the phone was defective--manufacturing defects happen. The issue is the repeated misinformation, multiple trips, excessive wait times, and lack of ownership in resolving the problem. My wife and I have two young children, and the amount of time required to fix a problem we did not create was unreasonable. I have attempted to raise these concerns directly but have not received a meaningful response. I'm posting this review in hopes that someone from Best Buy management or customer relations will review this situation and explain how this level of customer service is acceptable.
