Being desperate, I accepted under the front desk's assurance that my phone is "probably" going to be fixed, and this is a just in case thing. Sure enough, they hold my phone for 3 days with no news. On the fourth day, I get a message saying 'come pick your phone up, we can't fix it because we can't find the faulty part'. I ask for information about the faulty part, and they give me none. Moreover the lady at the front desk has the audacity to act exasperated and condescending when I ask for information about which part exactly is broken, and acts as if I'm being rude and unreasonable for asking for my money's worth on the diagnostics. She lies and tells me the part is not available in the US, when it is available everywhere online. I suspect that they ruined something else on my phone and didn't want to fix it because of that, so I'll be using another repair service to see if that's the case. The positive reviews are probably fake accounts from China, don't trust them.

There were no contract signed and this promotion did not show a balance on the statements. They said it was somewhere on the fine print of the promotion, however this must have been well hidden! The Deets: Recently I made the jump from my older iPhone X to an iPhone 14 Pro at the Apple Store, and after a few days decided to make sure I had a 5G phone plan that matched my new phone's capabilities. I stopped by this location for AT&T to do so one evening and had a good experience working with Sydney with the plan update. Once we were able to go into my current plan (which I had since my first iPhone, actually), we were able to get the 5G plan that met my needs and ended up a few dollars less per month than my plan I had before that time. We tested the phone function while in the store after switching over the plan and all worked before leaving (I loved she said "Welcome to 5G!" when the indicator on the phone changed over to show the switchover completion). So far so good, and I am glad I stopped in to update my phone plan.

The worker here knew what it was right away, ordered the battery, let me know when to expect it, and texted me as soon as I came in (less than 2 days later). Apparently, the inventory/device can already be assigned to another account even if it shows available and you are able to purchase it. So then you will get to go to the store and wait in line and wait for them to unlock the safe to see if they have device only for them to tell you they do have the device but unfortunately, it was already assigned to another order so therefore you do not get to take the item home and now you get to call customer service and get them to ship you another device rather than doing the pick up which is the reason that you did the pick up in the first place.
