I went into Verizon store to return phone. The entire experience with Verizon was awful. Returning phone should be easy, right. Jordan was the representative to "help" me. At the end of the return...he tells me I'll have to pay a $50 restocking fee. $50 to pile on top of terrible service. I told him I will not pay $50 to simply return a phone. He talks to another associate and returns telling me there is nothing he can do. We get Verizon customer service on the phone. Jordan disappears. Verizon agrees that paying $50 to return a phone makes no sense. Person on the phone asks to speak with Jordan. He has decided it was a good time to take his lunch break. This while he was "helping me". Even the Verizon person on the phone couldn't believe Jordan would think it was a good idea to take a lunch break while he wasn't finished solving my issue. Verizon person on the phone told me to take phone to UPS and return it there. She apologized on behalf of the abysmal lack of service by Jordan and his associates. I would think twice before entering that store or considering Verizon. $35 activation fee to move over? Lots of hidden costs. Pretty shady operation. read more

Austin our sales guy was great however when it came the time to discuss warranty I told Austin no I was not interested in that coverage. All of a sudden I feel like we are in a car lot out comes Tim the manager trying to hard sell me the coverage telling me all the bad things that can happen without the coverage. I told him no and he pouted away!! Really lousy approach for the sale if this is what is required of your managers Verizon!! Really unpleasant experience . read more

I had gotten my wife the Galaxy s7 pre-ordered from Jordan Richey. He was very knowledgeable about the phones, service, and everything else Verizon related. The day after giving my wife her phone we ran into some issues. We went back on two different occasions and spent overall 3-4 hours in the store but Jordan stuck it out and spent hours on the phone figuring out the issue. Finally got it resolved. Jordan went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were satisfied and taken care of. He did a great job and I will be back again and referring friends and family to him specifically. read more

I'm a little bit disappointed with the experience that my dad and I had when we came in on a Wednesday morning. I recently canceled my cell phone service with Verizon and switched carriers, my dad decided that he wanted to stay with Verizon because the service is much better where he lives than any other cell phone carrier. When we came in the store they took our information and told us it would be about a 20 minute wait (I expected that coming in). We were waiting and I really had to use the restroom, I asked an employee and he said sorry they didn't have public restrooms. It's a mystery to me why a business who charges so much money on their service cannot provide their customers with a better experience. That includes having a restroom in a store where wait times can be over an hour at times. The employee came over after he was done and offered to let me use the employee bathroom.... There's your extra star. When we were approached by the associate that helped us, she was very unfriendly, she didn't smile and really didn't ask us any questions to help us. When we went over the information on the account she said that they required a copy of my dad's social security card and drivers license in order to make the changes we were requesting. I didn't know people still carried social security cards with them OR businesses who require that type of identification. That just seemed very odd to me. I luckily wont have to deal with Verizon anymore and hope my dad moves back to Denver so he can also switch! read more

Our family had an account with 3 phones and an IPad with Verizon for years. Approx. 6 months ago mysterious charges started appearing on our bill. We made multiple trips to this store and met repeatedly with Adam, the store manager. He repeatedly assured us that he had taken care of the inappropriate changes. He repeatedly failed to do so. He repeatedly assured us he would call us back to follow up on the problem. He repeatedly failed to do so. After months of inappropriate charges and Verizon's and Adam's failure to correct the problem, we closed our account and switched carriers. Unprofessional and poor service. read more

Of all the Verizon stores I have ever visited, this one has the BEST customer service. They are attentive, wait times are generally short, and they seem very genuine in wanting to do whatever is necessary to make things right. They are a lot better than the Park Meadows location - they should send their employees over to THIS location to see how to do things RIGHT. read more

I have been to that location quit a bit of times. I have had different people tell me different things. I have not been happy with the customer service at all. I recently got a new plan, I was working with Brett and let me tell you he was amazing. I did not have one problem. I'm glad to know there are some people there that know what there doing. I went into this store on Friday morning Feb 7th. I was greeted at the door. When I was asked "how may I help you?", I simply said, "I would like to speak to a manager". The guy looked at me as said "why?" So, I explained I had gotten a new refurbished phone that was not working. Before I could get any further, he said "This is not a Verizon issue. We have no responsibility for this, you will have to take it up with the insurance company and if they choose to believe you then they will issue you a new phone". Then I was ushered out the door. First, off... When someone says "I'd like to speak with a manager", YOU GET THEM A MANAGER!. I was never allowed to see a manager. Second, I understand my issue is with the ins company. HOWEVER, I wanted to suspend my phone line until the issue was resolved so I wasn't paying for a phone I could not use. That's some Verizon could help me with. Third, how DARE he make a statement such as "If the ins company believes your story".. Did he really just call me a liar?!? I have never been so mad. I will NEVER return to this store. I was insulted, not allowed to speak with a manager about an issue that they COULD have helped me with, and I was ushered out the door. I'll never return. read more

I have to start by saying my father and I have been Verizon customers for just at or over 14 years, and normally we have pretty decent experience. There are some stores that obviously are under staffed and not trained very well, but the store on University is normally my go to spot. The staff there is very good. So why two stars then? I'm a college student. I have two jobs. And one phone, it's in perfect condition. Never been dropped or banged. It still has the factory wrap on it and my two year renewal is mid Jan (remember that). So i have my 40hr a week job then my 20hr a week kitchen job. And for those who have not worked in a kitchen before the first thing anyone wants to do when they get home is wash their clothes and jump in the shower. Which is precisely what I did, with my phone in the pocket. Yeah it happens, but not to me before. After a 12+ hr work day (9am-2am 1hr lunch) I'd say its an acceptable mistake. My dad called the *661 number on Dec,7th,and spoke to a woman who told him that yes, our two year agreement was eligible for renewal mid Jan but we could renew a month early. Which brings us to today, after counting down the days and picking out my new phone online (granted not one of the free with renewal phones but one of the ones that is still going to cost me $200), I go to my favorite Verizon store to have my bubble burst. Apparently, the information given to my father was incorrect. The gentlemen in the store said that while that may have the been the policy years ago it not longer holds true. The store manager with whom I was speaking said that we were eligible for 2year renewal one week before or the Edge Program (where the consumer pays the full retail value of the phone over monthly payments- Which I Do Not Want) one month before, which he believed what the phone representative meant. I said thank you and left. Went to my car, and using my fathers phone called *661 and this time spoke to a woman who said "That is the policy and there are no exceptions." After 14 years, one mistake and no exceptions. I'm more than a little disappointed. read more
