I lost my mifi device while I was visiting a friend in california. I went in and wanted to use an upgrade I had on the line, but instead without telling me they added another phone line to the account. After finding this out, I sent the device back to return it. After receiving signed confirmation that the device was delivered, the store clerks first told me that they never got it. After I told them that someone had signed for the package, they said (almost yelling at me) I had to call back when the manager was in at 12 pst. I asked if there was anyone I could speak to at the moment about this matter, and this was their response: "f there was someone else you could talk to, I would put them on the phone - you need to call back at noon." The dude was basically yelling at me. This is one of those situations when you're at a store and ask for the manager but the guy says f** you there is no manager. I'm sure the phone call was recorded and someone could listen to it starting at 11:11 MST 8/15/13. At least when I called back that afternoon they returned the item and cancelled the line. The Verizon 3rd party retailer 4G wireless offered the worst customer service I have ever been given in my life. read more

So disappointed in this shop. My mom went here to add a line for her grandson with an ancient, zero value iphone. We asked multiple times if there were any additional charges beyond $20 line fee and the sales person said no. Not a big shocker considering the previous reviews, but when I checked my mom's phone bill, they had added a "total mobile protection charge" at $13 a month for this very old phone without her permission. My mom probably never would have discovered this charge on her own, resulting a yearly theft from her of $156. I eventually got the charges reversed and the "insurance" removed, but only after wasting a lot of time chatting with Verizon. I would advise that anyone entering this shop be extremely careful because what they say and what they actually add to your bill without your knowledge are two different things. read more

Come to find out we were charged for all kinds of things that we were not made aware of. We were told we were paying taxes when in actuality we were paying service fees that Apple does for free. We were then offered a basically free iPad that would actually make our bill lower because of multiple discounts. Come to find out our bill nearly doubled and we were told this was explained to us. This is always overwhelming for me, but I walked out of there completely satisfied and felt like I made all the right choices. Would give zero stars like many others that have yelped these guys. They should be arrested for their unethical tactics and bold face lying. They stuffed my 18 year old son into a 2 year contract on my account with out myself or him even signing or knowing it was a 2 year contract. The same guys stuffed me with 2 free tablets that I have been paying an additional $20.00 a month for almost 2 years now, because I didn't have the time to deal with it at the time Which Verizon just removed today when they heard this latest story on this these two. They used my credit card to payoff his old phone without his knowledge and told him his payment wasn't going up but they failed to say why it wasn't. It was because of paying the old phone off which only had 4 months left WHICH WILL NOW GO OUT ANTHER 2 YEAR NOT DISCLOSED . They then charged him with an additional $210.00 bundle which they said was free and the $210.00 was going to pay off his new phone and he would see it on the bill in 2 months which was a lie. They didn't give him a contract or receipt of the transaction. I went back with him to straighten this situation out they said they wouldn't and couldn't resend the deal . The original salesman Joseph Leavitt wouldn't speak to us after I confronted him about the lies he quickly retreated to a back room. Then after much conversation with his Manager Rani Raydi they said they could resend the deal for a fee charged me approximately 150 to resend the deal after saying it wasn't possible. So why is it possible now???? Please do your self a favor and stay away I have an attorney looking into entering an 18 year old into a contract with out signatures The managers name is Rani Raydi ,when I asked who he reported to he refused to give me this information. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. This is NOT your typical "Verizon Store". This store is operated by dishonest, unscrupulous management. Our sales rep, Ryan, was nothing less than intentionally dishonest, using deceptive language and tactics in the transaction. I had not intention of trading in my Iphone 7S Plus, as it was not even a year old. I paid cash for it, it didn't have a scratch and worked perfectly. Ryan quickly commented that he would give me $325 for the phone, which would come off the top of the phone We asked, just to be clear, that this $325 would reduce the price of the new phone. Ryan assured us, that was correct. I was still not convinced, as I had another $130 invensted into my current case and gorilla glass, so I intended on keeping the phone as a back up. Ryan jumped in and sweetened the deal, offering to "throw in" a new case and gorilla glass protecter, oh... and -- just for coming in that day - he would also throw in a pair of wireless headphones! At this point, it seemed that there was nothing to lose. I handed my former phone over to him for reprogramming. We were told it would take approximately 45 min to set up my new phone and transfer everything over, so my husband and I left to eat lunch while Ryan started the transfer. On return to the VICTRA store (THIS is the company you are dealing with, NOT VERIZON), we picked up the phone and drove back home to Los Angeles. As soon as we got home, I opened the bag and saw that there was also a car charger thrown into the bag of freebies. That was a surprise. I thought -- wow! even a free car charger! This is when I pulled out the bill to look it over - something seemed far too good to be true. Sure enough-- there it was -- NONE of what he said he was going "throw in", was free. He charged for every single incentive item that he dangled in front of us in the sales pitch. Additionally - he even charged an EXTRA $170, plus tax worth of bogus services to our bill, weird services like some funky drying vat service for when you drop your phone in water (these phones are water resistant, mind you), --- $30 per line, and he added a service charge for every single line on our family plan this bogus annual membership fee they call "Redux Single Line Membership", at $30 a pop!! That's an extra $150 worth of things he never even mentioned! And on top of that, charged two additional charges he claimed were "VIP Annual Membership" fees, at $20... And all the incentives that he was saying he was going to "throw in" -- he charged an additional $150 for those! Things he never even mentioned were in that "goodie bag". Now -- what did that number add up to??? ---- $325 --- The EXACT price he was supposed to give me for my Iphone trade in -- off the top of my new phone-- Which -- he never took a penny off my new phone price - still $1k, financed. When we got home and I saw exactly what he had done, I immediately called him and spoke to Ryan. I was so upset. He had entirely misrepresented every single aspect of the transaction. I had only been in the store an hour before and I wanted my old phone back. I wanted to reverse the transaction. Ryan had nothing but lies and refused to give my phone back, and refused to let me speak to the manager. I called several times, assuring them that I would be outside their business the next morning with signs, warning customers of their trade practices and would not leave until I got my phone back so that I could move on. No one expects people to behave in such a manner in a business. It's just so incredibly rare and when something like this happens, it's a shock to the system. I don't have time for this, and yet, so that others do not experience what I did, I am making time. That store was full of people that day -- young families, good people being lied to and taken advantage of. I am not from that area, was only there visiting, otherwise, maybe I would have known better. But that huge "V E R I Z O N" sign over the building, makes you think you can trust the company.... Don't do it. They are NOT Verizon. Read the reviews -- this place and the tactics of this management is a scam. Along with this review, and any other place I can find to file one, I am filing an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the Chamber of Commerce and Verizon Corporate. This place should be shut down or at the very least, stripped of the ability to represent Verizon. I have never encountered more blatant, unscrupulous, third world thievery tactics from a business. THIS IS NOT A REAL VERIZON STORE. This is one of those side companies that get an approval from Verizon to sell their products and forward any contracts they can scrape up. I found this out the hard way when I went to visit my grandparents and help with a bill issue. I saw that my phone had been charged the full price of $650 to my grandparents. Unfortunately they never noticed because of all the other changes that had happened to their bill. To make a long story short, the guy put on his car salesman smile and pull the smoke and mirror tricks to get me to buy my iPhone 5s a year and a half ago. He told me since the new iPhone was coming out that this one was on sale for $60ish and of course I jumped on that. I paid it on my credit card and we were supposed to cancel my insurance but that was never done. What he failed to explain to me were the exact details of how all this would work. I FLIPPED when I saw that bill and went to the nearest REAL Verizon store for damage control. The girl spent a good hour trying to figure out what the hell could've happened. In a nutshell, it turns out what really happens is you still get billed full price for the phone and you pay the TAX in the store (my $60ish) and the phone price was broken up over 2 years of bills so it went unnoticed. There also was a $15 credit applied to each statement. So yes it ended up not really costing the whole $650 but I was not given the whole truth and yes we still ended up paying more than I was told. I'm giving 2 stars because while this was all a scam, the place is clean and I could see the place having potential if they are honest with customers instead of scheming for numbers. I feel scammed and disgusted. You should be ashamed of yourselves, Fake Verizon in CDM. I would not suggest going to this store. If you do b VERY aware of what's going on behind that computer. Like an idiot I paid them $360.00 for my free stuff and then got a $198.00 first bill a few days later. I was vacationing when I bought the phone to replace a dead phone. So when I tried to return the phone and $360.00 worth of junk in my hometown. I was told that this is not a real Verizon store so I was SOL. Fortunately I had the good sense to call their corporate office and a lady was very helpful and found one of their stores in my hometown that I could return this mess to. I have been sending my family here to renew their contracts, but no more. They lie to your face. They will upsell you on accessories saying that it comes out free, but not true. Once you sign their contract and check their receipt, you will see that you were ripped off. Example, on one account they charged two times for a screen protector $49.99 each ($99.98), same or similar product advertised on Amazon for under $20. Plus other misc charges that I didn't see on my Company store receipt. They are dishonest and I would stay away from this business if I were you and go to the company store. There are 2 in Irvine. That's a shame because I usually like to support mom and pop local businesses typically. And be careful, they have a 3-day restocking fee as opposed to 30 days at the Co. Store. He said there was a promotion going on and we could get these tablets for $20. Sign me up! I certainly did not need a tablet but for $20, why not?! After 3 excruciating long hours (we were starving and had a toddler with us who was getting very restless) we ended up walking out of the store with 3 phones, 2 tablets, and a very big bill. The entire process was incredibly confusing and we left scratching our heads at why the bill was so big. My sister tried to ask him one last time to explain the bill and his explanation was incredibly short and rushed us out. DON'T GO TO THIS STORE!!!! Some things that our fantastic salesman failed to mention to us that our $20 tablets came with a $10 data charge each month and these great deals we got on our phones and tablets? We had to pay taxes on the full retail amount of the phones ($799 each and $300 for the tablets). Which is why our sales tax was half the amount of our total bill. DON'T GO TO THIS STORE!!!! I came back and I wanted to return both tablets and a different sales guy helped me. Help is a term that is being used very loosely here. He gave me attitude and I knew he wouldn't be willing to help me. The manager was better but told me that the restocking fee for each of the tablets was going to be $70 each; THIS IS DOUBLE VERIZON'S STANDARD RESTOCKING FEE. This store is an authorized retailer and can apparently do whatever the hell they want and Verizon supposedly says that their hands are pretty much tied. I call bullshit on this. He pulled out the contract that my sister had signed that day that outlined all the charges and I told him I don't give a flying f**k what she signed because we were scammed into buying these stupid tablets with data charges we weren't explicitly told about. I had to come back the next day with my sister and the manager reassured me he would be there the next day to take care of me. Surprise! He wasn't there...or just hiding in the back. DON'T GO TO THIS STORE!!!! The guy who sold us the phones was there and I told him he scammed us and that we didn't want these tablets anymore. He was incredibly condescending and said they were worth $300 and looked at me like I was an idiot and not worth his time. I would not EVER pay more than $20 for these tablets, let alone $300. He was rude and I wish I could have punched him in the face. DON'T GO TO THIS STORE!!!! Verizon supposedly cannot do anything about this and I am still fuming that this store is allowed to be in business and continue to scam people of their money. Do not buy anything from this store they are scam artist.. The sales person offered us a tablet for $20 since we were long time customers of Verizon. He asked us if we wanted the $10 per month plan and we declined since we have a personal hot spot subscription for monthly internet usage when we travel. After getting the tablet we got a note from Asurion telling us that they were going to charge us $11 per month for tablet protection. I promptly cancelled that and still got charged on my bill. We also got charged a $40 activation fee for the tablet and $10 a month for a service we declined. The sales person never told us that the purchase of the tablet required at 2 years subscription. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. It appears that this has happened before. I will report them to the Better Business Bureau! read more

Although we have been with them from our first cell phone we will have no resolution because of the unethical practice at this location. I like to be friendly and courteous , wanted to shop local when my daughter and I needed new phones. The staff were so friendly and professional they even offered me an "expired " promotion of a "FREE" mini ipad I just had to agree to pay the insurance on it for 1 month....what a great offer, my husband did the same WOW 2 free iPads ! NOT !!!!! So not only did they try to get us with the monthly insurance charges !!! We now have TWO new phone activation monthly charges which we will be CHARGED a CANCELLATION fee to deactivate. If I could give a ZERO I would. The worst customer service I have yet to experience! It takes a lot to shock me, but this staff and service did that! Very sneaky and very, very rude! I stopped by the Verizon Wireless shop yesterday. Thinking I was actually stopping by a Verizon Wireless Corporation store. My husband wanted to upgrade his phone to an iphone. As we entered the store a young man, and young blonde girl were standing out side talking about their Starbucks order. We informed them that we were looking for an iphone upgrade to 5C. Spoke with the young man about our needs, etc. We had him set up the new iphone while we waited (or so we thought). We signed the contract Afterwards, we then met our family for a nice late lunch. Went home. Then we thought it was a bit interesting that our phone never rang once. Long story short. After over 4 hours on the telephone with Verizonwireless 1-800. The technology customer manager informed me that our phone was not only a later model that Verizon doesn't even sell or make anymore, iphone 5 that they no longer even sell and that it was a "pre-owned iphone that they had refurbished"! WHAT?????? "Bait and switch routine"! This was NEVER disclosed to us at the time of purchase. Verizonwireless 1-800 and the Verizon Corporate store on Jamboree instructed me to return the iphone and go to a Verizon Corporate center after returning the phone and services at the Corona Del Mar store. The Verizon Corporate Store on Jamboree was kind enough to inform us that Verizon does not even sell refurbished phones period! I then tried to return the NON-Working iphone to this location of purchase in Corona Del Mar the next morning. I was immediately rudely informed by Crystal Copes, that there was no return policy and I would have to pay a stocking fee of $100.00 and since we signed a contract with them that was "our luck". As I kept reminding Crystal Copes (the young unprofessional blonde), my phone never ever worked and it was never disclosed to us at the time of purchase that it was a "pre-ownned phone"!!!!!!! She continued to say "that is your opinion", "that is your opinion", "that is your opinion". As I stood there in shock she continued to smirk at me. I am in my 50's, a Mother, Grand Mother and a wife, living in Corona Del Mar and deserve more respect then this! In my opinion? What? The iphone NEVER WORKED! I spoke to Sean regarding a trade-up from my Note 3 to the iPhone 6 Plus. I asked him about the Edge plan and what options were available. He explained everything in detail and really took care of all my concerns. When I went into the retail store, the staff was very courteous and made me feel at home. They installed the protective screen perfectly on the iphone, answered all my questions and helped me returning my Note3. Overall, I had an Awesome experience here.
