I went here for a question on my phone and Andrew was available to me right as I walked in. He was so unbelievably helpful, unlike anything else I've ever experienced at a phone store! Slowest service store I've ever been to. Every time i need to come in there's a long wait. At least they have some seats to wait in. !?!!

I went into Verizon yesterday knowing I wanted a to get a new phone, but really had no idea of what kind of phone I wanted. Anthony N. was very helpful and patient. He explained to me the different types of phones and gave me advice on which one I would probably like best. He then helped me transfer all of my information onto my new phone (which took quite some time) and always had a smile on his face. I also received a follow up text message from Roger the General Manager, asking if I had any questions or concerns and then thanking me for being a customer. I've had mobile service from Verizon for over two years. Sold a business and decided it was time to cut down. Bought a Samsung Illusion on a prepaid plan. This transpired on July 27, 2013. My USB connection quit working. Today, August 15th, 2013. I contacted Verizon support through and email. They told me to go to my local Verizon store to see if a service technician was available. I did so. The two people there were absolutely worthless. They suggested a software reinstall on my phone, which would have erased all my phone numbers, contacts, calendar, photos, etc. OR They could order a replacement phone, taking my phone until I received the replacement. In other words, no phone for five days. They did not offer to order the phone and hold it there until I could get in. The manager whined about how much inventory they would have to have. A phone they could sell to someone else if the deal fell through? Anyway, it was the ultimate corporate dodge - against our policy. Why don't you change the policy? I began to question my decision to stay with Verizon. After all, Cricket is cheaper. I know, I know, they have no support either,but at least I would be expecting no support. Anyway, I called tech support. Guess what - all I had to do was remove the battery from the phone. DUH! I've done the old hard restart a zillion times on computers to phone, but forgot this. Followed his advice. Worked like a champ. So I'm the stupid customer, why didn't these people at the store know this simple trick? Why doesn't the store have a PC to test the phone against? Really upset with these people. I hate, absolutely hate to complain. Hate it, hate it, hate it. I know mistakes are made, lots of overworked support people out there, etc. So I'm doubly mad about having to complain. Wish there was a negative rating on Yelp. But there you are. So I have to give something. Maybe someone will read this and change the policy. read more

Just in my few experiences in bill pay they are a little sassy and it kind of smells dirty like the gym.

Every time I go into this store expecting one thing, they can never follow through. If you can get a better deal through Verizon's on-line service you should. The store should just be shuttered. read more

Worst Verizon store ever. I wish Yelp would have the option of no stars. One star is one too many for this place. My wife purchased a Samsung Continuum recently and it stunk. The actual phone part was bad. I couldn't hear her and it had an echo every time she called on it. We exchanged it once but the problem persisted. We decided to go to this store to exchange for a whole new phone without paying for the $35 restocking fee. My wife loved the phone, except the actual phone part, she couldn't hear anybody. We get to the store and after explaining our issue with Todd, the sales associate, he decided to call the phone from the Verizon store land line. "Sounds fine to me" he says. No s*** Sherlock. One sentence into a phone that's 4 feet away. Great detective work. I suggested that he take my wife's phone for 2 days and try it out. We will be back after that. If he still concluded the phone was fine, we would walk away. He didn't seem to interested in that. After being a condescending you know what, he finally said he can trade it for another Continuum. We said fine, do it. He then disappeared into the back with his manager Jeff. After some time, Todd returned to tell us they have no Continuum's at the store. I said fine, ship us one. He said his manager Jeff wouldn't let him. In a nut shell, he called us liars and he couldn't do anything for us. I have never been treated so poorly by two people in my entire life. We left but I had a hunch they were lying to us. I called two other Verizon stores and asked if this store had any Continuum's. They both said they had nine in stock. Nine! So Todd and Jeff flat out lied to us. We called and confronted them and Jeff said he just happen to find a box with one Continuum in the back when we left. Yeah right. If he did, he knew our number, why not call and let us know? Liar liar liar. I filed a complaint with Verizon and I should be getting an apology soon. As for my wife's phone, we went back to the Colorado Blvd. store where we purchased the original and they exchanged it for another phone (Samsung Fascinate) free for us. They told us that there have been a lot of complaints against the Continuum dealing with that echo. Vindication! I highly recommend the Colorado store, their staff is way nicer and more helpful. If you have to use this store, stay away from Todd, the sales associate, and Jeff the manager. Both guys are not there to help you but more to screw you. Two guys that love playing the power trip of a phone salesman I guess. I do feel sad for them and they give the rest of their co-workers a bad name. read more

Terrible store to say the least. Was looking to get a new phone and was greeted by a man that was miserable then disappeared to the back room. He reappeared several times wandered around then went to the back room again. After waiting for 30 mins I left. For a customer that was ready to spend money on a very expensive phone they could care less. Will NOT be going back to this store. read more

I went to this store on Sunday and spoke to Michael, who told me I could expect to get $300 in trade in for my iPhone 5c. I hadn't backed up my existing phone in awhile, so he said to back it up and come back in to do the trade. I came back in 6 days later, and Victoria told me my phone was only worth $63. She said she had no idea why Michael would have told me why it was worth that much, and that he was on vacation so she couldn't ask him. She said there had been a promotion for a $300 trade in, but it had ended before my first visit: Classic Verizon bait and switch tactics. I think lying is part of their training program. read more

Ryan Meeks was great, very thoughtful, listened to what you want in a phone, then made good recommendations. I have never received such good service from a Verizon wireless store. The store is clean, well-lit, and efficient. We walked in, and although it was busy, there was someone available immediately. My experience at Stapleton contrasts sharply with the Mississippi outlet, where there were lots of staff doing things other than serving customers. The person assigned to greet and assign a number was not to be found. Once he returned, there were at least 6 people ahead, since he was unaware of and did not care who entered the store first. I left never to return. No worries about such treatment at Stapleton. They understand the need to take care of people in the store and to take enough time to serve each. Regardless of how you feel about the company, if you subscribe to Verizon go to this outlet. read more

I went in to buy the new watch Samsung S3 and they brought out the box would not open it, showed me the watch on the display, would not remove it so I could see if it fit my wrist, How do they expect to you to spend 400 dollars and not try it on, I did not like the service at all here. read more

Verizon store at Northfield can't seem to provide any info on latest Verizon deals being offered by the Verizon phone reps. nor will they call to confirm the better deals now offered via phone. Left the store and called 611, got 64gb SE for a dollar with a two year contract after the store staff told me it would be $50 plus a $40 upgrade that can't be waived? Don't go to this store, especially if Stephanie is managing that day - very unhelpful, said they don't deal with "them", the Verizon phone sales dept.??? Call instead, better deals and nicer service. read more

We have been to this store three times in the last 45 days. The first time we walked in and waited for someone to recognize we were there (mind you two employees were sitting at the table chatting during this time) for 20 minutes, then a person walked in the door and the two employees jumped up to help them... so we left. We returned thinking that had to have been a fluke, their customer service couldn't really be that poor. Upon returning, we purchased two iPhones. We requested assistance getting things transferred over and were told to look in the App Store for an app to help. First time I've purchased a phone and they haven't helped me get it set up!! So I left a bit miffed... one of the iPhones we purchased is defective. We went back to the store today to get help. The staff was dismissive and rude. Their resolution was to send us to the apple store. Verizon will replace the phone, but with a used phone... a phone that is barely 30 days old with a manufacture defect. When I called Verizon's customer service number, they said the employees were wrong, but their tech people said it was "possible". This review is about the poor way customers are treated on a consistent basis at this specific store. We will not be giving them our business again. read more

I have been nothing but a pain for him with trying to get a pre order phone before I leave for a couple of weeks, and question after question and he has never made me feel as if I was inconveniencing him. Worst verizon store and customer service ever! You have to wait an average of 30-60 minutes every time you go and then you can't even get help. Waited 45 minutes while the representatives stood around talking. Then when it's finally out turn and they can't even help us. Just tell us to go to the Apple Store. Rude and very unhelpful. read more

The Management is the worst , The help all the white people first and help all the blacks last doesnt matter what order they come in at all. Came in today to upgrade my phone from an iPhone 64g 6 to a 7 plus 128g. Before hand I had already talked to 2 customer service reps on the phone to make sure I was walking into this purchase educated and knowing what I was doing. When I was signed in the girl was not very polite or happy at all to be there. Once I started my deal with guy that was helping me seemed extremely bothered that I was there. The information I was given was incorrect by the customer service rep I had called earlier. I had been give a credit on my account my VZW customer service and he refused to waive the renewal fee. Even though the note was in my file and they had done this previously. I have been a customer since Verizon was Airtouch... I know they can waive fees. He just didn't want to. I became upset about this. I decided to let it go and proceed. He tried to up sell me with an iPad mini... no thanks. He tried to tell me my phone wasn't in my budget. He treated me like I was stupid and had no expression whatsoever... he was like a terrible used car salesman. I have his name but will leave that out because I'm not that hateful. Sorry you hate your job, though. I decided to leave because the price was not what I was told on the phone. I called my husband and he told me to stay and get the phone. I turned around and was directed to a new rep who was polite, explained everything to me and was very patient with my questions and concerns about the amount I was spending. Buying a new iPhone is a luxury for some of us and spending this kind of money doesn't come easy so I appreciated the step by step and kindness towards me as a customer of 16 years!!! The new rep also told me he couldn't honor the credit listed on my account and I have a feeling they're probably over on markdowns at that store because I then called VZW customer service and they said that they should have taken it in store. Give me a break. After 16 years I've never been treated so poorly. This experience stole the joy of getting a new phone. I will not be back to this location at all even though it is the closest to my house. I was not respected as a person nor as a long standing customer. My bill should not be as high as it is with how long I've been there. I was talked into getting a bigger plan back in November and I no longer need the plan I'm on and was told I could drop back down when needed. In store today I was told they no longer offer the lower plan and that I was basically screwed. Thanks Verizon... you're the best... insert sarcasm. read more
