    come on Verizon stop letting these people do this to me. the better Business bureau says you keep reaching out but you can't get a hold of me, I done nothing but reached out on every platform possible. And yet I can't get a hold of anyone or gain access to my account?? Your representatives keep giving me the worst time of my life or is my phone that I just replaced also cloned ? Your loyalty representative has contacted me speaking untrue details and expected me to roll over and accept the lies that he was saying ? Now I have left numerous locations, drove 300 miles with these idiots constantly messing with my car and my life ?? Who is supposed to help me before I completely loose my mind !? This is exactly why this world has the issues that we all face. How many people have to get hurt before someone actually helps ? Let's not let your negligence end my life . You have already let me loose the things I cared most for. How much longer is this going to go on for ?? Let me post my actual number if that makes it easier. Why are you having your loyal customers go through such traumatic events? Iv went out side of safety lines trying to get this issue resolved . He was patient in answering my questions and made sure I understood how to use and manage my new WiFi before he left. What really stood out was his customer service-friendly, respectful, and genuinely focused on making sure everything worked perfectly. He was also very kind and friendly with my cats, which I really appreciated and made the whole experience even more comfortable. After scheduling an installation appointment that was already weeks away, I waited the entire month only to receive a call on the day of the appointment informing me that it was canceled. Not only was the appointment canceled at the last minute, but Sonic couldn't even provide a new installation date. Their answer was essentially, "We don't know when it will happen." The most frustrating part isn't even the delay itself--it's the complete lack of communication. For over a month, there were no proactive updates, no realistic timeline, and no effort to keep me informed about what was happening. If there were permit issues or construction delays, why wasn't that communicated earlier? Why was I allowed to wait weeks for an appointment that apparently couldn't be fulfilled? What makes this even worse is that Sonic offered no temporary solution whatsoever. If fiber installation was delayed indefinitely, they could have suggested an alternative service, temporary internet option, or any kind of stopgap solution. Instead, I was left completely in the dark and without internet service. When I called customer service to get answers, I didn't get any new information. The representative simply repeated the same explanation about waiting for a permit over and over again, without providing any timeline, updates, or accountability. Delays happen. Permits can take time. Customers understand that. What customers don't appreciate is being ignored for weeks, having appointments canceled at the last minute, and then being told nobody knows when service will actually be available. At this point, I'm left with no internet, no installation date, and very little confidence in Sonic's ability to communicate with its customers. Extremely disappointing experience.

    They took over a well-oiled machine from Paxio and turned it into a fickle jalopy of internet…read moreservice. I never had this much downtime and maintenance from Paxio. The disruptions are frequent and too many times have made my home server unreachable while traveling. Most of the time the service resumes, but on occasion I've had to have a neighbor or relative enter my home and reset the connection for me. Super effing inconvenient! Also, there is no roadmap for connections faster than 1 Gigabit, even while even more worthless competitors like Xfinity and AT&T offer 2.5 and even 5 Gigabit. And lastly, they increased their rates a few months ago. They offered a discount if you paid for a year in advance, but offered no way to do that online. It wasn't until I contacted customer service, that they gave me the details of how to do so: by writing a physical check and sending it to a physical address, no ACH or Credit Card options (which are available to those who pay monthly). Like, I'm boomer AF, so I still have a few checks laying around, but who else in 2025 still has a checkbook? When it works, I'm grateful, but internet service is binary. I just need it to work. Always. And it doesn't. End of story.

    Our ISP was originally Speakeasy, since the days they were a cafe in Seattle, long before they…read morebought by Megapath. When we first signed up for a DSL account, we were far enough from the phone company's CO that we were limited to ADSL at 1.5/768. This worked fine for years, but the broadband speeds have degraded to the point that they recently had to downgrade our service to 604/384. Apparently, changes made by the phone company have increased our distance from the CO so that we are no longer able to receive decent DSL speeds. So we're paying $49.95 / month for broadband speeds that merit a grade of F from the Ookla speed test. It blows my mind that this is the best DSL service that a major national ISP can provide to customers living within the Seattle city limits. Both the tech who made a service call and a Megapath sales rep have suggested that we really should switch to another ISP. Yes, a fine idea. If we would have done that back during Speakeasy days, we could have continued with email-only service for a modest fee. Apparently, that's not an option with Megapath -- switching ISPs will require obtaining new email accounts. Besides notifying friends of the change, I'm not looking forward to updating my email address on every user account and software registration I have.

Megapath never notified us of this conversion and we are looking into legal action due to the impact this has had on our business I have directed our IT department to find another service no mater what the cost.
