After a disappointing experience at the Citrus Plaza (Redlands) location, I drove out to the Fontana store. The quality of customer service is night and day between these two. I really wanted to keep a specific line, modifying it from a tablet to phone service, but for some reason Verizon wouldn't allow it. Vilmer nonetheless provided different options, with his coworker on an assist (I didn't catch her name but she was very sweet). He sold me a new line and phone (an A16 as requested, completely understood why I wanted a cheap phone and didn't pressure me for an A24/25, unlike the Redlands store), and upgraded my phone to the Samsung Z Flip (he gave me the pros and cons, so long as I don't flip it like a switch blade the phone should meet my expectations). He was very honest about the phones' qualities, and explained very clearly about the new service, costs, and future billings. In all, I ended up with two new phones, a new line, and an upgraded line. In other Verizons staff look at you, are helpful, want to ensure u get what u need. I was trying to give them money so i wud assume there was interest. First things first the guy that greeted me at the door was very nice (just trying to get business) he talked me into getting a second line instead of turning in my phone ( I purchased a new phone) and told me my bill would be the same each month (112$ )when receiving my bill it was 175$ after multiple calls to Verizon (2 months later) my bill has decreased on what it supposed to be. Well ((( Lexi ))) to the rescue in all of about 5mins she was able help me unpair & pair my devices .... Horrible company Terrible service! This company took $2000.65 from my bank. I have 0.00 unpaid balance, phones were fully paid, NO CONTRACT. I was told that this fee was for terminating the service "early." Upon signing up, I was given Verizon gift cards as promotion for new customers that can be used to pay Verizon bills or to purchase products at Verizon stores (ONLY). Unknowingly, it's a gimmick, it comes with HIDDEN AGREEMENT--- according to the representative, "THE SERVICE SHOULD BE KEPT FOR 12 MONTHS" Very deceiving, since contracts need to be disclosed and signed; they use agreement which is attached in a long fine print that no one reads anymore. So now they took back the whole gift card value PLUS interest. Since I stayed only for 8 months with Verizon's crappy service with outrageous monthly payments. When I signed up, the employee on this store told me that I can terminate anytime without charges and I got to keep the gift cards. Employees here either doesn't know what they're doing, or they deceive customers to sign up with them. It took me 3 hours at their store and 2 days of no phone connection before the service got activated with Verizon. I found out that there had been a mistake on the account # that's why Im not getting any service. Finally, the service got activated .... with POOR quality. Beware of automatic payment.. they give you discounts for enrolling, because that's when they charge you for something you didn't authorize. Like this $2000.65 termination fee and interest they charged. My service had been disconnected for over a month and they were still able to charge my checking account. I certainly asked customer service on 7/02 that I don't authorize any automatic charges after I terminate the service. Customer service was atrocious, they kept on transferring me in different departments over and over with looooong wait hold. In the end, they can't do anything. Calling them is a waste of time. This company is obviously declining slow and steady, so beware coz they will get whatever they can from the customers. Overall, VERY POOR QUALITY. I went in about 2 weeks ago to upgrade mine and my mom's business account phones and Sandra who helped us was very rude. It didn't seem like she really knew what she was doing. Wasn't communicating on what she was doing during the process when she said she was done. OK you owe this much. We gave her the money. We looked over the paperwork. Come to find out. She ordered the wrong phones then she had to go to a manager (Joel), which I don't believe was the manager, he deleted it to put in the right phone got it all situated I was able to pay for it and by the time we got our phones, come to find out they deleted my mom's phone and only ordered mine so we had to go back in and let them know they didn't order my moms phone. They deleted it and Sandra continue to argue with me and say no she did not delete it, my mom called customer service before we went down there and they said it was deleted. The business manager, that was there when we went back claim to say that there was a glitch in the system that day. There was no glitch. None of the people in there know what they're doing when we went back that day there was 10 employees sitting around doing nothing except for chitchatting. A customer walked in and stood there for a minute before somebody approached her. I've been coming here for seven years. Had amazing service until this time. It looks like they got rid of all the employees that were there and put in all new younger employees that don't know what they're doing. We definitely don't recommend this Verizon at all. read more

So my teen was out of a phone for a week which I was not happy about being that this is the second time! As a new customer not such a great experience but I must say Janelle(customer service agent) was so nice and funny she made me forget why I was there! Although the resolution was time consuming she made it very fun. Kyle (manager) was also very helpful, wish I could say the same for whatever tech support they were speaking with. They closed their doors 5 minutes to closing and despite knowing my situation showed no consideration. I just needed to do a quick verify for my online purchase. Did not even take the time to open the door and let me know they have closed. Just plain rude and unhelpful. If I could've gave 0 stars I would have. Verizon Wireless is simply the best mobile service out there. No one comes close. I have had Verizon Wireless since it's inception in 2000 and have never truly had an issue with either their products or service or wireless coverage. My fiends and family who are with other wireless carriers constantly have issues. It seems like issues is the norm with other carriers. It's sad. Today tuesday 6/14/22 I went to get a phone activated, and they were all shut down with a sign saying to go to the nearest alternative store in rancho cucamonga which is about 8 miles away, uhhhh, there is a verizon store in Rialto less than 3 miles away...are you stupid? Back during covid, I went to the store for another matter, had to wait outside, and put my name on the list. So after waiting around for almost an hour seeing people leave, and the store taking other people who just walked up, we finally said screw you and left. Verizon Wireless has become one of the worst cellular carriers available. Their customer service is virtually nonexistent. The chat feature ships you to another country that neither can answer your questions or provide any assistance. The stores are no better! It's really sad! I have been a Verizon customer for over 25 years. Their decline has been slow and steady. Until now they have reached near bottom. They want to celebrate that I am a First Responder and give me a discount. Discounted crappy service is still crappy service. How about improve your service and your customer service? Nope! I went in on Sunday @ 5:40 pm there was 3 staff members just standing there doing absolutely nothing I walked in and needed my top replacement glass changed that I had purchased through Verizon and my iPhone 11 through Verizon Our account for over 16 years . The Guy with a beard asked how he could help , me so I said I just need help to change the screen protector. He looked at the packaging saying that that was not sold through Verizon which is not true I could've gave him my account and he could've seen it was he did not help me it was very unprofessional and I wasn't gonna he kept wanting to argue with me . Went in last night with no appt, did have to wait which was no problem considering the current situation. Got inside, Enrique handled my problem quickly, which was a unique situation I had. I came back the next morning, as I couldn't transfer the stuff from the lost phone over, Mike the general manager assisted me right away, he remembered seeing me the night before and went out of his way to help me with the phone,taking extra steps so I wouldn't have to do them later. The kindness and patience of Mike was truly appreciated, and the fact that he let me know if there was anything I ever needed help with my phones on to come on in was a welcome relief. Terrible service on this branch. I do love Verizon but the agent we had doesn't even know what he was doing. We had to come back multiple times because we were unable to open our phone from a different service ( we change our carrier) but during those time it was just because of their agents' fault. He gave us a 3g sim card if that is even a thing instead of a 5g sim card which our phone needs to have. So much time wasted on this branch. First off, I would like to say I am not surprised with their low rating. The customer experience I had yesterday was by far the worst experience I have had thus far. I have an iPhone 6 a long time now(clearly) and was very excited to go in a get the new iPhone 11. My experience there was very disappointing. The weekend before I took my partner to get her new phone from T-Mobile and their service was A+. They transferred all of the information, stood on hold to set up her line(even if it look 45 minutes), and made sure her phone was ready to go before we left. That was not the experience I had here. Rudy the agent that "assisted" me sent me home to transfer over all of my information and not providing me with any information on how to activate the device. To be honest he seemed less willing to help because I didn't want to add an iPad or iWatch. So I have been without a phone for 24 hours. Normally it wouldn't matter but during the week I take a lot of work phone calls and I had a non functioning phone. It is frustrating to say the least the lack of customer service support I received from a company that charges an arm and a leg for service. My suggestion, avoid this store in general, I am sure there are more stores that are willing to help. The response is ridiculous. Sorry we missed the mark? We'll do better next time?
