I bought a phone about 2 weeks ago, It wont charge and the location services don't work. When I brought it in the guy basically told me that it was my fault it didn't work because I dropped it but I've dropped past phones and had 0 issues, didn't even bother to check out the location problem and had an attitude. Would give a negative star if possible. Website shows they're open until 6pm on Sunday. Got there at 5pm and was told they're closed. Doors were not locked and had two customers inside. Employee asked why we were there. Told her to buy a phone. She said okay I'll get someone. Goes to back of store then says the store opens up at 9am. Guess no one wants our $$$. I highly recommend you AVOID this Verizon store. Never have I ever spent less than 2 hours in this store for something that should take a couple minutes. My most recent experience of trying to port a number into my plan was a real treat. After a solid 2 hours at the store of the representative trying to import the number over, it turned out he had typed the SIM card number in wrong. Also they charge you an additional service fee because they are a third party store. I wish they disclosed that prior to starting transactions for you. read more

I want to give Verizon a minus star but unable to. They're the worst, they process an unauthorized payment from my account on the unauthorized date and now it will take 3-5 days to fix. I was not able to speak to a live agent yesterday and today on Monday I had to wait 10 minutes on the phone for someone to answer or they would take 2 hours to call me back. Watched an employee flirt with a customer (or friend) for 10 minutes, and decided I wasn't going to wait anymore. Absolutely worst location to pick up a cell phone. Ordered curbside pick up waited over an hour and a half for them to bring us our phone which never happened. Then when asked them what happened to my rebate they make up more lies never received my rebates of 150.00 per phone that they promised. I ended up at this store after my phone completely died on me one day before my upgrade. I contacted Verizon's 1-800 number, who told me the manager at this store, Jodi, would help me out, and would be able to upgrade the phone. When I arrived at the store, Jodi immediately pawned me off on one of her employees, who insisted that with an upgrade you also had to purchase several accessories. When questioned about it, I was basically told that I was REQUIRED to purchase them with an upgrade. All in all, I spent an additional $200 on accessories that I wasnt planning on purchasing. I wasnt even explained to what accessories I had purchased, and things mysteriously ended up in my bag. I was then told that they had a promotion in which they were giving away tablets. Well, if its FREE why not take it. Nope. Not free, essentially it added another line to my account which I wasnt even advised of. The tablet arrived in the mail today, its being returned. read more

I got my phone switched over in a timely fashion but when the girl started the pitch on purchasing extras I said no. She continued on with the sales pitch and I laughed and shook my head and gave her a louder no. I could tell that she didn't like this because her attitude changed immediately. If you're going to try sales, get a thicker skin. Her retaliation was setting my phone to activate tomorrow instead of at purchase. Please please people, don't ever think about getting Verizon as your cell service carrier. Besides the fact their service is not great, they have the worst customer service ever. It takes about 1-2 hours to get a hold of anyone, when you do get to talking to someone they have no idea what you are talking about, you finally have them some what understand what you are saying and they make promises but no changes are made. They advertise one thing to get you to accept and make certain changes but in the end they get their way and rip you off. All they want is money. Your bills never make sense. It took me 3 different calls just to have the insurance removed from my plan. It took 6 calls to them so they can help me return a device, I then returned it and did not get the money promised to me. I went on a trip to Mexico and my plan has that coverage included but once there I could not use my phone and Verizon couldn't help. No phone for 10 because of their bad customer service and plans. I just really can't believe we pay so much for the phone service but they are garbage. And if you are thinking of leaving them they charge you up the ass so you won't be able to change. read more

Had a fantastic experience at this Verizon Store. I have been a Verizon customer for 10+ years so I have been through my fair share of upgrades and issues that would bring me in to a store. I went to upgrade my phone on a whim as I happened to be driving by. I did not have to wait to be helped, it was quiet enough that there was no waiting time. I have experienced some long waits at the Blackstone Verizon store so It was a great change. Angie helped me set up my new phone and put up with my indecisiveness over what color I wanted. She was incredibly helpful and I was in and out in no time. Overall, I am not always happy with Verizon as a service provider because it is more expensive than other carriers BUT this review is just for my store experience and it was great! Purchased two iPhone 7's mid January and already had several issues. Phone froze up and drove across town to get it fixed and they told me they couldn't do anything because it had been longer than 14 days and told me to go to Apple. Took the phone to Apple and they showed me instantly how to reset the new IPhone (volume down button and power button simultaneously). Not sure why the lady at verizon didn't know that but I find it pathetic that they are not only unhelpful but also don't know the basics on the products they sell. The other small issue is that I find it funny I haven't even had the phones a month but yet they already sent me a bill for over $250 bucks due on the 8th. Had a great experience at this location. The staff was awesome and very helpful. It's not an easy process to add a line, get a new phone, agree on the terms but me and my sister had a blast laughing with the staff while we did. We had a few hurdles to go over but I'm glad we had a great time joking around and making the time we spent there fun for us and the staff. NOT WORTH YOUR BUSINESS! This place has by far the worst customer service and the most unknowledgeable employees ever. They are just trying to make a sale but have no idea what they are talking about. First of all, I wanted to buy my boyfriend a new phone. We are on the same plan by the way. The employee told me that I HAD to set the new phone up as a monthly payment. She literally could not understand why I just wanted to pay for it all at once. She almost looked at me like I was crazy. She even said that this is the only way to get a new phone. After going back and forth about it she said that for the first month it would be billed as a monthly installment but that I could just walk into any store and pay off the rest of it at that time. Which turns out to be a complete lie. At that time I also purchased a glass screen protector that she was selling as a bundle. She said that the screen protector had a lifetime warranty and if anything happened I was to bring it to any store and it would get replaced right away. Fast forward 2 months later and of course my boyfriend screen protector broke. We walked into the store and another incompetent and rude employee asked us what we were needing. We told her my boyfriend needed a new screen protector. She then asked if we had registered the product because this is the only way they would replace it. I told her that I was not aware that I had to register the product and I proceeded to point out the employee who told me to just walk in to the store. She began to rudely say that she has been working for Verizon for 10 years and that this has always been their policy. My boyfriend even has a co-worker with the same screen protector with Verizon and even he said he has always just walked in. We told the lady this and she said that he was lying and that he was probably buying a new one each time. We then called Verizon to confirm how incompetent these people were. Just as we thought, we were told that the store should have been able to give us a new screen protector. This place has the worst customer service, the rudest, most incompetent employees ever. These products are expensive and it would serve Verizon right to provide customers with knowledgeable and competent employees. read more
