Verizon customer for 12 years, decided to switch to t-mobile but didn't realize that voicemails don't switch over, luckily still had Verizon acct. Went in just now for help retrieving voicemails from my deceased husband. I am literally panicking about this situation as these are some of the only shreds I have left of this true love that I lost. I am disabled, and unfortunately, as we entered the store my service dog had a gross accident and had diarrhea on the floor. It was so embarrassing and I was obviously distressed as I apologized profusely and cleaned it up immediately and completely with the paper towels they have. I apologized and tried to explain to the man working that he was a service dog, this was a terrible accident, I'll hold him until we're done with our transaction. The dude was having none of it: he kept saying "you'll have to get that dog out of here" (understandably) and "if he's sick you should leave him at home" (yeah no freakin duh dude, I obviously had no idea he was sick until he pooped all over the floor just now). The man didn't help me, told me the customer service ppl over the phone had it wrong and that my voicemails were out of Verizon's hands. He did give me a number to their "loyalty team" who kept me on hold for 20mins so I hung up. At the end of our interaction I politely offered the gentleman some feedback, something like "that was obviously an embarrassing emergency happening to a disabled paying customer and maybe next time try more tact" he went on to basically tell me condescendingly that poop and pee is dirty. Again, no freaking duh smart guy. Congrats on sucking at your job and screwing over a disabled widow in a really tough emotional spot. read more

I totally understand the terrible reviews because someone that worked here gave me a completely wrong explanation about why he decided I didn't qualify for a trade in. Luckily, I was mainly working with Holly who knew how to navigate complex policies and a disobedient computer system . He seemed to maintain his integrity and humanness better than a few people I attempted to buy a phone with earlier in the day. Holly was persistent, pleasant, and explained things clearly. Also, I didn't catch his name, but the man at the door was such an uplifting person! He really went out of his way to cheer everyone up and be helpful. It can't be easy for any of the empathic staff to be surrounded by so many frustrated people for prolonged periods of time! I noticed quite a few employees at this store trying to offer the best customer service they could in the chaotic system that they are in. They seem to just be thwarted by the complicated policies, computer system, poor internet connection, and overall pressures. This store could potentially get the award for the least helpful Verizon store of all time. I purchased an iPhone XS on January 12th. In the following weeks, the phone sporadically shut down and calls would have interference. Upon speaking with Verizon corporate, they advised me to exchange the device at the Beverly Connection store. I went to the store and spoke with the manager, Ricardo. Ricardo was less than helpful and told me he would not assist me with the exchange. Knowing that this was not in line with the advice that corporate had provided me, I phoned the corporate line before leaving the store. Corporate representatives then directed Ricardo to exchange the phone. He refused. Instead, Verizon has to overnight a new phone to my home, on the company's dime, because of Ricardo's negligence. I spent over three hours dealing with Ricardo and his associate, Brianna. Neither of which are suited for a customer service or sales position. I write this review in hopes of saving other customers from dealing with this dodgy store - save your time (and parking dollars) and go to the Apple store at the Grove. read more

Employees are very passive aggressive and offer very little customer support when you need it. I had gone in to get a new iPhone with my upgrade from a iPhone 8. The salesman told me my trade in value was $385 and that I would see that deduction on my next bill. After we had finished the process he went to place a barcode sticker on the phone and noticed a small hairline crack on the back of the phone and said he wish he saw it before because it would have reduced the trade in value. I asked him if we should re-start the process because I would have gone to Apple and replaced the screen with Apple care for $35. He said no don't worry, it's too late and now on us. A week goes by and I get an email from Verizon claiming my iPhone value was only $80 and that I was now responsible to pay the additional $300 toward my new phone. I had contacted MULTIPLE customer service associates who all had claimed the only way to resolve this issue is to speak with the store manager and bring in the associate who did the trade in. The manager at this Beverly Center location did not seem to care for my situation in the slightest and instead of offering some sincerity or concern for the conflict and arising at a solution, he dismissed me and said yet again to contact customer service. I was yelled at, spoken down to like a child and was only able to tone down and receive some fake respect when I loudly called him out for yelling at me encouraging other customers to see what was going on as I was completely astonished at the bullying and disrespect taking place. The associates greet you with a smile and they move pretty quickly. My associate was Justin on both occassions that I have visited and everything has moved smoothly. Uch this whole place is a disaster. I got talked into buying a mobile hot spot since the sales rep (robert) told me I could take it back if I wasn't using it. Then when I came to return it they said there will be a $35 restocking fee (which the original salesman never bothered to mention). Over an hour later, the manager said there's nothing he can do, so I had to take the name of his district manager and waste even more of my time getting the charge reversed. I had one of the most unpleasant experiences at this store. The staff at this store was excruciatingly patronizing to me (reason being; duh because I'm a girl). Also the staff is completely incompetent. I had the phone in my hand that I had purchased through online -and I was stupid to go to the store because I didn't need to. The only reason I went to the store was because I wasn't given a Sim card and I had to purchase one and I thought I might as well upgrade the newly purchased phone there. The problem occurred when one of the idiot employees upgraded the phone on an incorrect line and this halted service on another line in my plan. Their stupid excuse was that I had transferred the upgrade from my line to a different line to purchase a new device (which according to them was not allowed- and screw them because the verizon customer care told me otherwise and told me to transfer the upgrade to an existing line instead of using the upgrade on my current line to avoid changes to my current unlimited data plan). And they kept "scolding" me in an extremely condescending tone saying that I'm not supposed to do that to keep the unlimited data plan. Well, surprise, everyone who wants to keep their data plan and have lines to spare in their plan to swap their upgrades, knows this stupid loophole. Even the verizon customer service suggests this OPENLY when you inform them that you are desperate to keep the unlimited data plan. They didn't fix my issue so I had to drive to my parents house 30 miles away to revert this issue. They said that they couldnt reverse the issue since I dont have a spare device to activate. While the fault of upgrading the device on a different effing line, more hilarity ensued as they tried to charge me for a new Sim card since the one inside the phone was now connected to my another family member's line. In the process, I want to stress how rude and condescending they were. Not only that in a patronizing way they kept telling me to grow up, stop being so frustrated, and accept the fact that they can't do anything to revert their mistake. She could not have done anymore to help me out with my predicament. I was scheduled to travel on Wednesday and she helped out with a replacement phone that i got the very next day. I don't like to write bad reviews but my experience was so incredibly negative from the moment I walked into the door to the last few hours of trying to speak to someone at customer service today, that I figured something needed to be said. It actually took me 4 hours to get this review up because the 4G MIFI that I purchased that both the manager and the employee, Justin told me would provide strong service for up to 10 people would not allow even my one MacBook Air to get a signal strong enough to post this review on Yelp. We called to have someone help us and they picked up the phone and told us to hold. We held on the phone for 23 minutes, with the phone on the register listening to other customers being helped, things being on the counter and sales transactions and noise for over 23 minutes, without putting the call on hold or letting us know we were going to be helped in any way. When they finally picked up, they first asked if anyone was there. When they realized they forgot about us, they pretended to listen and I told them the situation. They told us they were too busy and I would have to call a 1 800 number because they couldn't hear me didn't have time to "deal with me". I have never been treated so unprofessionally in all of my years of business and am not sure how they think this is an appropriate way to treat clients. I hope I am within my 14 days of purchase, because I do not want to deal with Verizon any longer and certainly not with this establishment. So firstly, I'm here because the bluetooth on my new phone doesn't work. Very frustrating. (Samsung S9). After calling support they informed me because it's a new phone I can go into the store and swap it out. The "greeter" is where things go wrong. Enter the aptly named Teller. His supposed function is to welcome people and sign them in. What he seems to think his function is to argue about what's wrong with the phone (without looking at it), snarl, make big eyes at you and make noises. I mean, really... it was actually pretty funny outside of it being a time waste. Just check a person in and let them get on with their day. Over the past 17 years, I've seen Verizon's service decline. Worse coverage in less areas. Abysmal customer service. When I finally had had enough and switched carriers I got a couple rude surprises. One: my Apple Music account was erased. No warning or option to switch out of the Verizon promotion I had accessed a while ago. Two: I couldn't get a detailed invoice of final bill unless I went to a store. It was "impossible" to email the invoice. I guess I was just supposed to trust them. Also, in order to speak to a live operator you have to pay $10 and you are charged $5 for an invoice. So, I go in person. I had some questions, spoke w the manager. Explained that I was leaving due to customer service issues. Got the usual "sorry you feel that way" line. Said it was not about "feelings" but a deterioration in service.Snarky manager said, "Sorry we can't be George wireless." Asked what my new carrier would be and he said, "good luck with them." Whatever, dude. Verizon is overpriced and has terrible customer service. Not what I started off with back in 2005. Stop acting like you're so great that you're doing your customers a favor by existing. I guess you can get the snark for free, though. I'll pass. read more

IMARA rules!!!! Sam, the manager is a doll, and sent me over to Imara. He is amazing! My phone fell into the pool yesterday... I asked Imara to see if he could salvage my videos and photos knowing the phone was a goner. He took out my memory card, brought over the Galaxy Tablet and was able to check. It was all there! He walked me through how much a new phone would cost and how to get one. Highly recommend this store and Imara. read more

This is the first time I ever went to shop at a Verizon store and I didn't buy anything. I used to go to the one on Wilshire and Western and the staff there was so knowledgeable about the products that I couldn't help myself but buy and/or upgrade a phone. But the girl I was with at the Verizon in the Beverly connection seemed to know nothing about iPhones. And she could not give me a compelling reason why I should spend extra money to upgrade from my iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone 13. Nor could she give me a compelling reason to upgrade my Apple Watch. I wish they had not closed the Verizon store at Wilshire and Western because they were so much better. There is also a really excellent one in Studio City on Ventura Boulevard and Eureka and that one is closed down too because they're putting in a new shopping center. But if someone could recommend a good Verizon store with people who are actually really knowledgeable about the products, please let me know! read more

Go see Sash or the manager, Charles. They both know anything and everything about their products and service plans. Sash was masterful at helping me set up my new iPhone and transferring my data. I needed to exchange a new iPhone 6s that was shipped in the wrong color. After calling the Verizon store in West Hollywood and getting jerked around on the phone by their incompetent staff I called and decided to come to the Beverly Connection store instead. The reason? Charles quickly answered my questions on the phone and INVITED me to his store to make the exchange. When I got there, Sash did everything possible to make the exchange happen as quickly as he could. Compare this to the West Hollywood Verizon store where I was told by that stores manager, after a long and heated discussion, to bring the phone in and they would "deal with it" when I got there. I truly appreciate people who have problem solving management skills like those displayed by the staff at the Beverly Connection store. It makes all the difference when I'm spending my hard earned money to know I'm talking to someone who cares about my satisfaction and is competent enough to explain my options in a manner that leaves no stone unturned. First off, was not acknowledged for about 35 minutes since the time I walked in, (mostly due to no one being on the floor and hiding in the back office). When someone finally decided to greet me, they put me on a waiting list. Waited for about another 30 minutes. To preface this, they weren't even that busy... Second, I forgot the lady's name but they were able to quickly transfer my info from my iPhone 7 to iPhone 8plus (which was the only good thing about this not so good experience). Towards the end of the transfer they tried to offer me all these bundles to protect my phone, and said that if I bought a screen protector and case, I would be eligible to get a portable charger for free. I asked if I just bought a case, and then came in next week to buy a screen protector with proof of purchase (i.e. the receipt) could I then get the portable charger? The lady said yes. Also, she was not engaging the whole time and did not seem happy to be interacting with me. I go back the following week for the portable charger. A man says that was not the promotion, and that I needed to buy a wireless charger for the iPhone8 that was like $80. I told the man that, that was not what the woman who told me about the promotion said. And he basically said well there is nothing I can do for you then. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. as a Verizon wireless customer of 10 years this is NOT ok.... fast forward one month.... The screen protector that I had bought that has a LIFETIME WARRANTY cracks. The back of my iPhone8 near the camera area is cracked with the case on it. I go back to get a new screen protector. They don't fulfill the warranty to give me a new screen protector. Appearantly I have to go through the manufacturer. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I love Verizon as a mobile service, but this location needs major help in training their employees in proper customer service.
