They treat me nicely here. They treat me with respect here. They are now my favorite Verizon Wireless store of all time! I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for a good ten years now and for most of those ten years I have dealt with the Culver City at Jefferson branch. I never really had any problems with them until perhaps a few months ago when I visited and tried to explain to the customer service representative that something was wrong with my Palm Pixi Plus (I am now #TeamDroid). He pretty much dismissed me as one of his many "stupid clients" and I left with my problem unresolved. I do not take disrespect like that lightly so the next day I called in with a complaint and as I was advised I wrote up a long letter of complaint. The manager assured me that the issue would be addressed and that was pretty much it. While I appreciate the manager's swift action in correcting the problem it was already too late because that same day that Culver City guy dissed me the people at this Crenshaw location are the ones that helped me through my time of duress. I must say that I was real upset at the way I was treated and my emotions were awry when I showed up at the Crenshaw location. Dominic and Alex talked me down from my homicidal rage (I'm kidding! LOL) and they asked me about the problem I was having with my phone. I explained to them that my phone kept shutting down completely despite the battery being charged and that I suspected that I may have a defective battery. Dominic got the case off for me and Alex inspected it. By the way the guy at the Culver City branch told me that I probably need a man to get the back cover off my phone (i kid you not). Even though they could not really tell if anything was wrong with the phone Alex did make sure to tell me that I could get it inspected by an in house technician. She gave me a listing of local Verizon Wireless stores that have these technicians and she also made sure to remind me that under my warranty I had the right to a new phone should the Verizon technician find anything wrong with my phone. The Culver City man did not offer me such information. All he offered me was disrespect and that made him so useless. Thankfully I was able to upgrade to the Droid 2 and I pre-ordered it on Tuesday through Alex and bought it today. Alex was there when I purchase and pick it up. She was training a new guy that was setting up my new phone as well as helping other customers. She's real great as well as personable. While she was helping to get me set up she was always very pleasant and we had a nice customer service rep to client chat. Efficient, friendly, pleasant, and informative is she. Love it! Ok, the people who work here don't know Verizon wireless policies and procedures. Promises, promises... until it comes time to deliver the goods. Signed up for a buy one get one promotion on the stipulation that the old phone number could get transferred to the new phone. They are either liars or poorly informed. When we went back to the store to make the change guess what happened? I was informed that I would have to add another line. Thanks Crenshaw store! UPDATED review I would like to commend this store and their staff got going above and beyond to attempt to fix an issue on my account created by verizon corporate itself not the actual store. Hours were spent on the phone trying to sort out ever changing info and I really appreciate the effort that was made. A lot. The one thing I will say, and this is not a negative against this store, be sure you are fully aware that you are going to retailer store not a verizon cooperate store and that you are aware of the differences that makes when dealing with some hiccups or policies. On one hand I feel the customer service at this location was outstanding and I probably wouldn't have received the same at a corporate store BUT if I had gone through a corporate store I would not have so many problems fixing my issue. If you are local, not traveling a lot out of state (like I do) and confident in your phone selection and have done your research in the edge program vs a 2yr contract then I would recommend this store location. read more

Watch your wallets, Verizon is up to their old tricks. Yes, they got me again. The guy offered me a free tablet and I told him "I know that scam, you got me one time before "Free!" But you never told me about the $20.00 phone charge each month. He said I wouldn't tell you that! You''' get the $20.00 phone bill but the tablet is free". I was already buying a phone at 9:00 PM so I didn't have time to read each contract and they know that! I know, I know "Fool me ONCE!...." So I get my bill and shame on me, TWICE. When I walked in I got attended to right away so that wasn't the issue..once I started getting help from the sales person I noticed that they lacked knowledge of the products they are selling. I asked for a list of features of the Samsung galaxy edge phone and how it compares with the new Galaxy 8 he actually had to look at his computer screen and read the features to me! Went there for the first time and Joel really helped me out - my family out of state got a plan, so we had to play a lot of phone-tag that Joel was super patient with and went out of his way to handle. Keep in mind that I knew exactly what I wanted and already had a plan to put it on, so I can't speak much for how the workers there act when they're trying to sell something you're on the fence about. read more

THIS IS NOT A VERIZON STORE, do yourself a favor, SPEAK DIRECTLY TO VERIZON and not to this expansive and inefficient middle man that cost me $200. Those guys don't know Verizon offers policies. They only want to make the sale and not hear from you anymore. Story: Stopped by there to check a new phone for my wife, I decided not to go with them because they were more expensive than what I could get directly from Verizon. They then texted me to let me know about a $200 promo offer I could get. I came back to the store, finalized the sale(had to refuse to pay an arbitrary $20 processing fee that I noticed on the bill!) and had them apply for the cash promo they told me I was eligible for. I had to get Verizon on the phone 4 times to finally hear that my plan was not eligible for the promotion, that it required to be an unlimited data plan. Of course nobody at the store checked the conditions or I suspect they did but did not care it would rejected after they closed the sale. read more

This store needs customer service training. I walked in today and a person just walked up didn't say hi welcome to Verizon how can I help the person and I quote " was up what you need " I thought I was being punked it wasn't appropriate at all it was very rude when I looked confused the person stated " I don't have my uniform shirt on " I said no it's the way you're greeting me so he pass me on to another person who was really rude I'm trying to understand why everyone was so upset and uptight I'm the customer with a problem so as I explain my problem I'm accused of using a wrong cord which they were trying to get me to confirm they have no tech team just referred me to another store very discouraging and upsetting.. it was an awful experience and there was also another customer there that was having a similar issue.. the people there are nasty and should not work there I'm embarrassed for the store owner I'm sure this is not what there store to represent.. this store is horrible read more

I must say this has probably been one of the best experiences I have had in a while. I called this place from Phoenix Arizona. My girlfriend currently lives in Los Angeles area so I wanted to see if someone would be able to help me with joining the Verizon family. The representatives name is Noe Benavides. Great customer service and explained everything I needed to know about the service. Was very friendly and made things seem so easy. He needed to get a price together and would call me back and the guy called me within minutes. At times they never do call back. Usually when you want to port over a number over its a hassle and being the fact that I was in Phoenix I thought it would be a pain. But the process was very easy. I signed up for 2 Galaxy 5 phones and my girlfriend went in and signed the papers and within a few we were done. I wish other places worked like this where you can just do everything over the phone. Yesterday I was mugged for my cell phone while providing elder care for a visually impaired, disabled client. In between two shifts, I panicked, as my money is my phone and my phone is my money. I pulled into the closest Verizon store en route. Terry, and his manager, Noe, did an amazing, amazing job getting me back on the road, new cell phone in hand, and a new tablet for a great rate in the bargain. Noe reviewed my account and compiled data and plans in a very cost effective manner so that I left there with a larger data plan, and a cell phone bill that was actually less than my current bill by ten bucks. I came in the store having a panic attack, crying and shaking, but their calm demeanor, winning smiles and gentlemanly chivalry literally saved the day. CHRISTMAS EVE NIGHTMARE!!! OMG!!!...I saw an ad." Bring your # to Verizom and Receive $150. Credit" I have been a Sprint Customer for 15 years Now. I thought it might be time to try a New Carrier (Verizon) So I go in to the Crenshaw Location and at first sight I see the Manager (Anthony) on the Phone talking Loud Saying " I can't give out the District Managers Phone # I'll have Him Call You" and Then He hangs Up....That was my Red Flag right There..! But I overlooked it, Then He asked could he help Me, I said Yes i am a Sprint Customer Now for 15 years and I want to give Verizon a Try, Then he gave Me his sales pitch of How wise of a decision I was Making. I told Anthony I wanted 2 iPhones, ...6 plus and 5c,.. So He say let Me have Your I.D to run my credit to see if i qualify for The installment Plan with No $ Down. He then Runs My Credit and Then Say "Oh Good" You qualify for No $ Down..The He Tells Me there is only 1 more step He say there are # on the back of the phones that I have to scan to see if You have to pay a Deposit or not on The Phones..., So He takes a Phone Box and Scans the # on the Back and Say again 'Oh Good No Deposit Required....But I have to Call another Store to Have them Delivered the 2 iPhones So I said to myself Wow This was easy all those bad Yelp reviews are wrong...So I waited over an Hour in the Store and The Phone hadn't been delivered Yet. Excellent customer service tailored to what I need from a cell phone! Anthony helped me decide what to do with my samsung Galaxy S4 that I dropped and broke. I walked out of the store with a new phone, free charger, free screen protector and case. No ridiculous fees. Just great business and a thorough explanation of every possible option I had. I visited the 3732 Crenshaw Blvd location on January 29th, to purchase a phone for my mother. Verizon was running a promotion and the 29th was the last day to purchase the phone. After finalizing the phone purchase, I checked my receipt and commented to the sales representative that I wanted to know why I was charged a $19.99 set-up phone fee and all she did was put the battery in the phone and turn it on to make sure it would work. She did not have to transfer any phone contacts or pictures. She told me that it was a Verizon fee that they had to charge and that I could call Verizon and they would be able to reverse the charge. The next day I called Verizon and they told me that the do not have anything to do with the fees that a Premium Retailer charges and they do not require them to collect any mandatory fees. Well, that was LIE #1. I called on January 30th and talked to the manager Brandon. He told me he could not credit my card but he could apply the credit to my Verizon bill. He told me it would take 1 billing cycle. Well, that did not happen. I have repeatedly called Brandon, who has repeatedly told me that same lie, that he had processed the credit. On February 26th, I called him again and told me he was processing the credit and it should be on my account in a couple. Well that was LIE #2, and I still have not received the credit. I will never ever set foot in this place and for anyone that does, please check your receipt and question any junk fees. The staff at this place is only about making the sale and they don't care anything about customer satisfaction. I have reported them and their deceptive practices to Verizon. read more

Terrible! I received a Galaxy Note 4 in exchange for my old blackberry. The service guy Jose Rivera stated he would mail my phone to Verizon so I would not be charged for the new phone. Relieved I left the store a happy camper. One month later I get a bill from Verizon informing me they never received my blackberry, therefore I will be charged the full amount for the new Galaxy. I was HOT! I called the store and left several messages with no return call. I called again and spike to a new manager. To my surprise Jose was no longer working at the store. What the HELL! I needed a tracking number to give to Verizon, since their incompetent ASS could not do it. So far nobody knows were my phone is located. I am pissed! They do not even deserve a 1 star. read more

I'm writing just to give a special shout out to Eric who helped my friends and I out today. My friends and I all came in to the store in bad moods from being too hot and tired - just generally cranky. We asked a lot of Eric and we were not the most friendly when we got there, for which I apologize. But Eric took it all in stride, was super professional, and helped us out in the exact ways we were looking for. I have been with Verizon for many years and I guess it's because I have heard so many horror stories about other carriers such as: drop calls, bad receptions etc. It was just easier to stay with them, but I have definitely had my share of bad experiences, if I am just paying my bill on a monthly everything is fine but don't let me have to purchase or replace a phone then i'm opening up Pandora's box.......my bill would soar way higher than what was explained, or the lines would inadvertently get switched (I have 3 phones on my bill) etc. I literally go into panic mode at the thought of having to go into a Verizon store. Recently, has luck would have it I needed to replace my phone :( I decided to go into a Verizon - 4G Wireless Retail store. AND I AM SO GLAD I DID ! The first thing I noticed was the friendly attitude of everyone that worked there; they even asked me if I would like a glass of water ! I talked to a Consultant there by the name of Cayla Gibson, I proceeded to tell her my current situation along with past experiences, she was sympathetic to my whole ordeal, not only did she explain everything in terms that I could understand, but she showed me how my new bill would be unaffected because of the type of plan that I have, she showed me how to operate my new phone, and gave me her business card with phone# in case I had any further questions..........I can't remember ever having that kind of service! Thank you Cayla for restoring my faith ! btw, my new phone bill came......Verizon billing screwed up again and yes I had to go back to see Cayla, but it was painless, she called and spoke with a Verizon Rep. on my behalf (I tried calling on my own but got nowhere). Anyway less than half an hour later my problem was resolved......... I certainly look forward to visiting this particular Verizon Retailer again ! read more
