I guess I'll give it 1 star for the location. I live in DTLA and I picked this Verizon wireless because it is located in a plaza and I don't have to stress about the parking. I upgraded my phone and the 1st transition went smoothly (can't deny that) because it went smoothly I decided to upgrade my husbands phone the following week. Now this is where it gets interesting. Their customer machine was "down" not knowing it was down one of the workers asked me to swipe my card TWICE because their system didn't process my transaction and the CC machine kept freezing. I didn't question anything because I saw the CC machine freeze too. So I ended up paying cash. However, the next day I check my bank statement and guess what... THE CHARGE WENT THROUGH. So before I call my bank I called the store to give them the benefit of the doubt and explained to them and paid twice for the phone. Then advised they couldn't help me because a manager wasn't in store. They advised that they will have the manager call me back the following day. Understood, so I waited for the next day... NOON comes around still no call back from the manager so I decided to give them a call... When I get on the phone with the manager he advised that he advised the back end accounting team and that he will call me once he gets an update with my refund. Few hours pass no call back... so around 6pm I decide to give them a call AGAIN... a girl answers and tells me that they cant help me cause they can seem to find the charge... WHEN MY BANK ACCOUNT CLEARLY HAS MONEY WITHDRAWN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. Then I asked them why haven't a gotten a call back and she snaps back at me with an attitude that they didnt get back to me cause they dont have an update for me. YOU'RE IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY AND EVEN IF YOU DONT HAVE AN UPDATE YOU SHOULD OF CALLED ME BACK AS YOU PROMISED TO LET ME KNOW THAT YOU DONT HAVE A F**** UPDATE BUT STILL WORKING ON IT TO ASURE ME THAT I AM NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT. LONGER STORY SHORT IT WAS DUMB OF ME TO GIVE THIS VERIZON WIRELESS LOCATION A CHANCE TO GIVE ME A REFUND CAUSE I WANTED TO SAVE THEM OF EXTRA FEES OF DISPUTE CHARGES BUT I DISPUTED WITH MY BANK AND WILL REPORT THEM OF FRAUD. read more

FRAUD!!!!! Set up my business services through this location back in February. The store appears to be an actual Verizon location however they are 3rd party seller. Today I received an email notification that an order was placed on my business account for a iPhone and an iPad and the shipping address was to this location. I went here on black Friday to get a new phone while I was on vacation in LA. For starters it's unclear that it's not a Verizon store, and if you look at the front or pictures no where does it say "authorized retailer." I ended up deciding to return my phone by mail since I'm not from LA, and they never refunded me the taxes I paid on the phone, which were about $200. I called and emailed and spoke with CJ and Krysnie and they told me they were working on it and a check would be sent to me but it never came. Not only did this business misrepresent themselves but they also cheated me out of my refund. I would avoid at all costs. read more

Translation: anything that goes wrong will be your fault because Verizon Corporate or as I call it The Real Verizon will NOT accept any responsibility nor are they obligated by law. Think of it like a rental, this cell phone store is "Renting" the Verizon name. Reason #2 The staff is utterly unqualified to deal with anything beyond selling or renting you a phone. Reason #3 The staff is incredibly rude completely lacking in basic manners. Reason #4 Utter disregard for the disabled. Reason #5 Theses cretins will waste your time. A big thanks to Brandon! I have a pre-paid Verizon account and I wanted to buy a new chip (because my previous phone got stolen) and use an older phone temporarily. It took a while (about an hour) to activate the phone for some reason but Brandon made sure he did what was needed to be done so that I had a working phone. The customer service quality between having post paid Verizon and pre paid Verizon is such a separation. When I used to have post paid I'd be able to contact customer service and talk to a customer rep within a couple of minutes but with pre paid I'd constantly get hung up on or wait longer periods of time to speak to someone. I love Verizon and have been a customer for over 7 years now but they should treat all customers equally. Anywho... nice new location on Sunset and Alvarado in Echo Park, there is a parking lot but depending on what time you go it might get packed due to neighboring businesses. read more

The young man posing as a salesperson was one of the rudest people I have encountered in 30 years in Los Angeles. He refused to even make eye contact. He was too busy looking at people on the street to discuss issues at all. The store was empty. His 20 year old hair was overly coiffed.
