When my iPhone 13 Pro Max would not revert out of 3x zoom in portrait mode, despite doing all troubleshooting found online including two factory resets, I knew it was time for an upgrade. I feared stopping in a busy shopping center in the month of December would be a nightmare, but they helped very quickly! Super easy to compare the iPhones and decide on the iPhone 17 Pro Max. They only had orange in stock, so I would brave two shopping centers in one December Saturday evening, but I was on the quest for a new phone. Happy they could do a "online" order and printed a slip to make the next stop incredibly easy. This location has been great since becoming a Verizon customer in 2006. 5/7/25 Located just south of the 60 on Signal Butte across the parking lot from Walmart. Parking 5/5 "Today" we scored a parking spot up front but this is Verizon's busiest store in the east valley. Parking is limited and is shared by numerous popular restaurants and businesses so you may need to park and hike. Service 5/5 Time for a much needed upgrade for my wife's iPhone 10. We signed in waiting for the next available representatives who was Drew. He greeted us and brought us to a workstation. We discussed phone options and found her iPhone 10 qualified for a free upgrade. Awesome Sauce !!! We kept our existing Military discount plan pricing with her shiny new phone. My wife picked her color, case and the data transfer was all handled by Drew. During the hour long process Drew explained the key improvements she gained in this upgrade. He also reviewed some of my phone settings I was having trouble with and resolved those as well. Once the data transfer was complete Drew performed side-by-side reviews to confirm everything made to her new iPhone 16. Drew provided excellent customer service today. He asked great questions to help direct us towards the right replacement and free on top of that! Drew demonstrated both customer and technical skills which made our visit and the new phone upgrade flawless. Perfect Gentleman and represented Verizon very well Kudos we appreciate him! This rigid approach forced me to divert funds I did not have, pushing me into a significant financial deficit during an already devastating personal crisis. While Arizona law may not mandate a specific bereavement billing policy, A.R.S. § 44-1522 explicitly prohibits business practices that are unconscionable or that take advantage of consumers during periods of vulnerability. Ignoring documented hardship while continuing aggressive billing practices may fall within this scope. Additionally, Verizon operates as a regulated telecommunications provider subject to FCC consumer-protection expectations, which emphasize transparency, fairness, and reasonable treatment of customers during billing disputes and hardship situations. Verizon's failure to provide clear hardship options, escalation paths, or temporary relief contradicts these principles. I further note that Arizona public policy consistently recognizes bereavement and financial hardship as legitimate grounds for temporary accommodation across multiple consumer and employment contexts. Verizon's refusal to apply discretion or flexibility reflects a lack of good-faith engagement and raises concerns about systemic treatment of vulnerable customers. Marissa didn't seem to know what she was doing and overcharged us and put us on the wrong plan when we were just trying to take advantage of Verizon's own deal. When we tried to come back the same day to fix the issues, she avoided helping us and made us wait over an hour. Dylan finally helped solve the simple issues and gave the solutions. THIS STORE IS NOT SAFE!!! DATA PRIVACY VIOLATION!!! UNWANTED PERSONAL TEXTS FROM THE SALESPEOPLE!!! My daughter went here to get an iPhone upgrade. The sales guy was overly friendly, to the point my daughter became very uncomfortable, so she took her new phone and left as fast as possible. The next day, she got a totally unsolicited personal text from the sales guy wanting to meet up! This was a gross violation of professional and ethical boundaries and a major breach of my private account data! He would have had no way to obtain my daughter's cell number except by opening our account, looking it up again, and entering it into his phone for his own personal use! My daughter was so frightened by the random text that she was afraid to go back to return the trade in. I had the BEST customer service experiences at this location recently...especially my second visit when I took my iPhone 13 Pro Max to be traded and upgraded to the iPhone 14 Pro Max with 1 TB of storage space! Gabriel was my knight in shining armor customer service man. His customer service skills were first class all the way and we not only talked about the phones, my trade in deal, etc., but we also clicked on a personal level, talking everything from Randy Johnson's bird-killing fastball to concerts, music playlists, and life in general! It's amazing to go to a place and be treated like a VIP rather than just an ordinary customer. Our experience at this location and switching from AT&T to Verizon has been hands-down the worst experience in Customer Service I've ever seen. Mike an employee at the Signalbutte location should be fired. Everything we were told by him did not get done or handled correctly. All Mike was concerned about was upselling us and there was no follow through. It started with having an appointment w him that resulted in us waiting 45 minutes because he told us having an appointment would be the fastest way with him while people continued to walk in off the streets without appointments getting served before us.. It continued to evolve, he didn't stay with us until the end, and handed us off to another employee, and that was the beginning of all of our issues. We got stuck paying $616 for our cell phones w AT&T when the deal was supposed to be that Verizon took over the balance because we were switching to them. Do not do that deal!! you do not want the hassle. at least don't do it with the Signalbutte location. It's not worth saving $10 a month. More than 12 hours of collective calls into their call center...being routed repeatedly and having to repeat my story over and over and over it's taken just under four months to get our money back. Came in on October 4th, I scheduled an appointment online for 12pm and was greeted right away by Cody. Cody was super helpful and even had to take a delayed lunch to help me get my phone set up! There was some issue with their system not liking my ID so we had to get some help from several other employees that were just as nice and helpful. The vibe in there is amazing! Cody told me I may have some trouble getting my old number onto my new line since it was tied to a different account but I have it on my new phone now with no issues. I didn't even have to pay anything out the door to leave with my phone and plan! Any of the guys in there are 100% willing to help you get anything you need. I went in to fix 2 phones that could neither text or call. I was helped by Tudor and he offered awesome help. He was very knowledgeable and was able to fix my problem. He also helped me contact Verizon customer support to resolve some issues when I got new phones. I came to him with a handful of different requests/issues about my Verizon bill and getting new phones. Tudor made the experience enjoyable. The location was clean, visually appealing, and best of all each of the employees I interacted with were super friendly and knowledgeable. The store itself was very nice. Very modern and clean inside. However, I will never be coming here again. Came here to get a new phone. Went through the entire process of reviewing current plan, selecting a new phone, getting the screen protector, case, and other needed accessories. During the data transfer from my old phone to the new one, the store employee never put me onto their wifi, so they used up all my data. Got the new phone and could't even use it outside of the house due to only having a few days left on my plan and my data was down to less than 10% for the remainder of the cycle. Once home, and using the new phone, I realized they gave me a 128GB phone when my old phone had 256GB! So here I wasted over $1,000 on a phone only to get one with the smallest amount of storage for a modern day phone! I looked into returning the phone and getting one with bigger storage, but with the return/restock fees and having to get another screen protector, it was more money than it was worth! Ben and Gwynne here are amazing! I came in this morning to upgrade my phone. Ben did the whole sales pitch getting me set up with my three item bundle, but I didn't feel pressured or forced to get anything I didn't need. I had an issue with an order that was placed the other day and was cancelled, but the cancellation was still pending so it was looking like I wasn't going to be able to get a new phone today. Ben went above and beyond to troubleshoot and do everything he could to get the issue resolved. While I was sorting all of that out, he started helping another customer, so when it was fixed, Gwynne took over to get me checked out. I work in healthcare and work 12:30-9pm and I was cutting it super close at this point. She did everything she could to make the check out process fast and easy and get me out as quickly as possible so I could get out the door. She was so sweet and polite and even though I was rushing her at this point, was calm and collected. I usually go to the verizon at superstition springs, but the customer service I got here today was honestly exceptional. They went above and beyond, doing way more than either of them had to, to make this a great experience for me, and I'll be coming to this location always going forward. With everything going on in the world, it's always a breath of fresh air to interact with such awesome people. Sales people tell you about GREAT discounts. Then you 'apply' for them only to discover there are so many conditions and restrictions that you NEVER get them. The only discount we can get is $10/line discount with autopay- that HAS to be with debit card or checking account (no credit cards). Also you have to make an appt for EVERYTHING. Then you show up 5 mins before your appt and wait another 50 mins before they get to you. There were 2 employees standing around doing NOTHING the entire time I was waiting. They also promised $0 out the door with iPhone trade-ins. Due to "max credit" we can give you, you must now pay us $100 "out the door". Bunch of BS. All cell phone companies suck. Customer service is not good for ANY of them. I was hoping at least my cell signal would be better coming from Sprint. But NOPE not that either!! They know cell phones are no longer a luxury but a necessity. And they don't give AF. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in the store and it wasn't busy. All staff ignored me. After standing there looking at them for several minutes I went up the the guy who said he was the manager and asked for help. He said Xander, who was hunched over a display looking at his phone without ever looking up, offered to help me but I ignored him. I said he didn't offer to help me. The manager said yes he did I heard him. Again I said no he didn't. The manger having to get the last word in said he did. I said I'm not going to argue with you I need help with my phone. As a wo man I can say it was an intimidating feeling to have all the male employees look angry and each one is hoping they aren't the one who has to stop playing on their phones to help me. We went to this place the previous day to buy a new phone and add another phone to the existing line after all the transaction was done we spend a lot of money in this place. The next day we went there to ask some questions about the new phone and the second phone this tall red hair blue eyes man I don't recall his name reacted very aggressively towards us when he realized that we were not buying anything and we only had questions about the phones we purchased the day before. I went to the Apple Store and they actually had training unlike Verizon employees. got a new phone sent to me Tuesdays but because I couldn't turn my phone on the number wouldn't transfer to the new phone. went into Verizon again and still they have no idea what to do and continue to try and turn broken phone on and then tell me to call customer service and basically tell me they can't help. This is about my experience at the store. I went in on Tuesday December 4th 2018 to switch my line over from T-Mobile to Verizon. After waiting about a few minutes, I was approached by Kelly Stamper to assist. He was being a decent gentleman at first, more on that later. So I went through the whole process of providing my information to Kelly, made the payment and had asked a few questions about billing and all of that. During this process, two elderly gentleman came in for some help I believe regarding text messages and they were approached by the manager Tawnya Rimer. Her first response to them was "You have to call customer service, I can't help you". Is that really how customers get treated at this, especially by someone who is a manager of all people? More on her later. Continuing on my part, at the end of the process I had asked if I can borrow a pin to put in my new sim and test drive the network. After a few minutes, Kelly had come from the back and took my phone that was on the table. At no point did I ask him to do it for me or gave any indication that I wanted him to pull out the SIM tray. After a few seconds, he pulls out half of the sim tray with the other half stuck inside the phone with my old sim and memory card. He looks at it for a bit and immediately blames me saying I had messed around with it so it broke. I had not touched the sim tray since the first day I bought the phone and that was it. We talked for a few minutes and he said let me go back and check if there any other S8 (my current phone) laying around. After a few minutes he comes back to say that he spoke with the manager and there's nothing they can do about it. I tell him this broke because he had decided to pull out the SIM tray and I did not have anything to do with it. After a while I had requested him for me to speak directly with the manager. After a few minutes, here comes Tawnya (remember her with the attitude towards the two old gentlemen that came in earlier). First thing she tells me is that she can't do anything about it and that her employee did the correct thing by inserting the pin and it was already broken, so he had nothing to do it. I tell her that it broke after her employee decided to do it himself. She then tries to say I told him to do it and also goes to tell me that "Well you'd have broken it too if you tried opening it." I tell her we don't know that, the fact is that it broke when Kelly attempted to take it out, it happened as a direct result of his actions. She then tells me "Well you can see the camera then if he used excessive force" with a snarky attitude. During th whole interaction she just kept looking at me with such a hatred towards me that why am I asking her for help. Not one single apology during our conversation. Afterback of forth of her being very very ride to me, not apologizing for her employee's actions, I asked for her card. She comes back with Kelly's card and only her first name written on the card. When I asked for her last name, she started walking away saying "PFFFT I'm not giving you my last name". How can a manager act like this towards a customer? Not only was she rude to me but also rude towards other customers, as mentioned in the beginning. After this experience, I checked on Google and not surprised by the bad reviews that are already there, but I should've checked myself first. How can this store allow such an employee to be working there and to treat customers like this? In some of the other reviews, I saw the owner responding to the reviews. So if you read this, I don't want your generic response of how sorry you are and hope to keep me as a customer. I want you to get my phone fixed because it was broken by YOUR employee Kelly at the store and both him and Tawnya just rudely treated me and blamed me for the issue. Needless to say I hope people see this review and don't come to your store until you fix Tawnya's attitude and her treatment toward customers. read more

We go And the sales guys says don't do that it's a "Scam" I am like ok he starts writing numbers down on a paper telling me I'll save $ etc etc and it's a 2 year contract "Kinda" Do you guys train these people ? This place doesn't seem to know what customer service is all about. Whoever is in charge of this branch sure isn't concerned about training the floor staff. They (floor staff) only knows what product "X" is by looking on their tablet and recite what is already written. There was one customer who was waiting waaay before us, we were helped before her. And I saw her leave the store mumbling some words under her breath. There is a reason this store has only 2 stars overall. I was satisfied with the customer service the first time I went to this location for service. I was told that my phone was no longer holding a charge and it needed to be replaced. I was satisfied with that diagnosis, I picked out the phone, they had it in stock. I was told that I should set up the phone at my house because it could take a long time using the stores WiFi. I got home and spent the next hour trying to set the phone up. I was having several problems getting the phone setup. I took the phone back to Verizon hoping that they could walk me through the setup process. Well I guess that's too much to ask. I didn't get help from Verizon, I was immediately told that I needed to contact the manufacturer of the equipment. My opinion is that Verizon took my money and a lot of, got me out the door without setting up my phone because "takes to long" then when I had an issue they placed the blame on someone else. I left reluctantly and very unhappy. I took my phone to the manufacturer and they took the necessary time to understand my setup problem. They determined that the cell phone that I got WAS NOT ACTIVATED. The service tech at the manufacturer removed the SIM card from my old phone and installed it in my new phone and the setup process was seamless after that. I am a Verizon customer because they have a solid network in the areas that I travel. But if Verizon wants to sell devices my suggestion is that you invest some time into training your staff to handle technical difficulties that come with selling devices. The fact is the sales team was lazy they didn't activate the phone and didn't take the time to understand my problem with the device. read more

After two trips to the Store to purchase a new phone and new service, and working with the same Customer Service Representative, Dane, I was told to order the phone and service from my computer. My first trip to the store was to see if the store, a corporate store, would meet the online offer from Verizon. I was assured that they would and would work with me on the process, I am a self proclaimed Luddite, however I needed additional information and I made arrangements to meet with Dane the following day. I'm a little puzzled about verizon stores. I went there 10:30 am on a friday to simply see what my options were with my plan and waited 15 minutes with no call of my name. There were at least 5 floor people asking if you needed help but maybe 2 that were working with customers directly. Less floor people and more actual customer service reps Verizon. Almost like the apple store where you know its going to be an hour or more and if you didnt make an appoitment.....forget it! Verizon has the best coverage in Az. But they need to find a way to expedite the in store process. I cant even imagine what kind of zoo that place is on the weekends or in the evenings after work! read more

We (my husband, 77 year old father in law and myself) walked in during a busy period mid afternoon and were greeted within just a few minutes by Dane. He was exceptional and kind. My father in law is finally embracing technology and has a lot of questions as well as questions about his Bill. Dane was so friendly and patient. He answered all of my father in laws questions and got us all hooked up. This was the best and quickest experience we have had with a Verizon store and specifically an exceptional employee.
