WARNING - This is NOT a Verizon store!!! Verizon WILL NOT support you with GoWireless transaction or phone issues! Have had a myriad of issues - last has been trying to get my $800 trade-in credit for over 6-months! Still not resolved! Have had to go the BBB, and State AG and file a complaint, and asked for assistance. GoWireless and Verizon have the "basics" of poor customer service down to a "T". * Multiple touchpoints required for simple issue resolution (if any) * Providing wrong or inaccurate information * Unreasonable payments and/or unexplained surcharges * Overuse of automated scripts & ROBO responses to customers (wait for it...) * Merry-go-round responses - no one owns the issue or authority to resolve timely In short, Go Wireless' processes and support is atrocious. The resolution processes are a down-right an abusive merry-go-round, the worst I have ever encountered - I am 61. And - GW does not empower employees to support you in a timely or equitable manner. The people are nice - other than misleading me on level of service, fees, losing my turned in phone, incorrect promotion given, poor cell service, poor customer service elsewhere, not following up, chat support worthless, corporate support simply sent issue back to the store, never a firm answer for issue resolution, etc... - too many to list. And no support from VERIZON - not their problem. YOU have been WARNED - previously 20 years with T-Mobile - not a single issue! Note - I did not purchase my phone from this store - but GoWireless' processes\behaviors are the same regardless if at the store or corporate level. Today I decided to add another person to my account and figure out how to make this happen as easily and as cost effectively as possible. The person I was adding was eligible for an upgrade---new phone. So we went to the GoWireless Verizon store in Ramona. It was a wonderful experience as soon as we walked in the door. A rep named Caleb Riley was professional, friendly, and immediately wiling to help us--and that is a great combination of traits. From the get go, Caleb answered our numerous questions. We had so many, and he was tireless and constanlty polite. There were other customers who came into the store and he helped them too, while he worked on our project. It took a long time to complete all the changes and get the new device up and running, but Caleb never missed a beat. He was always pleasant and made us feel like we had the best rep in the world. He explained everything and helped us down to the very last detail. I can't express how neat it was to have such a hard working and friendly rep. It makes the transactions so much easier and light. He explained how we needed to fill out our rebate form. He helped us dial in all the details on the new phone. Caleb went the extra mile! I think it is very important for people like him to be recognized and rewarded for their excellent service. He has an attitude that makes people feel good because he is so personable and professional. It is people like him who make Verizon, and its reputation, so exemplary. read more

I want EVERYONE to know that it's not just our Ramona Verizon store that is GREAT but also Verizon itself. When the 2003 and 2007 fire storms hit San Diego County it was an unimaginable NIGHTMARE! What it all came down to with cell phone service Verizon won hands down! All of the repeater towers for the various types of providers are on the top of Mt. Woodson. The cables for power to those towers are buried but apparently not very deep. When the fire went up and over the mountain it melted ALL of the cables INCLUDING the Verizon cables! However, VERIZON PHONES WERE STILL WORKING!!! WHY??? Because Verison is the only company that goes the EXTRA MILE to make sure that everything is ALWAYS WORKING RIGHT. The Verizon towers have an array of batteries connected to a set of SOLAR PANELS that are all way up on the tower high enough that the fire couldn't damage them. I still had perfect contact with all of my children so there was no fear or worry over what was happening with them. NOW THAT'S LOOKING OUT AFTER YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! My husband had a frustrating experience with Verizon in Ramona this weekend. He purchased a new iPhone on Thursday and received a text that it was ready for pickup on Friday. However, at the store, he was informed that they couldn't give him the phone because the internet was not working and they couldn't print a receipt. Despite showing them the receipt from the Verizon website, he had to visit the store multiple times on Saturday and Sunday but still couldn't pick up the phone due to the same issue. Contacting Verizon customer service was long and tedious, and when he finally reached a live person, they tried to call the store, but there was no answer. When he expressed the desire to switch stores to Carmel Mountain, he was told it would require a fee payment and paying taxes twice, which seemed unreasonable. I came into this place looking for an upgrade for my phone. I was helped by Jennifer and she was amazing! She helped me look through all my options, gave her own recommendations, and helped me figure out what phone I wanted. She ordered the case that I wanted because they didn't have it in stock, and even gave me a temporary one to use for a few days while I wait for it to come in. While my old phone was transferring its information onto my new phone, her and the rest of the staff did a great job at helping me pass the time with jokes and conversation. When my phone was ready and it was time for me to leave, I was hesitant simply because i enjoyed spending my time there with them so much. Being a senior, I have a lot of intrepidation in using my new iPhone. I visited several Verizon stores recently with different problems that I created, each time I had adequate service. I went to three strip malls in Temecula, due to my travels, and the Verizon store in Escondido whereupon was asked for $20.00 to answer my basic question. I promptly left that store with a bad taste in my "pocketbook". Returning home, I again visited CJ Martinez, the current store manager, again he showed great patience, and concern in resolving my issues, reassuring me that I should return if and when I needed help. Even though we are a small town, we have great talent and performance locally. I vote that CJ should be promoted so that he can teach others good customer service in the wireless community! ! read more

Love our local Verizon Store here in Ramona. We were ready for upgrades and the knowledge of all of the sales people is amazing. They helped us decide on the best phones, were completely patient with us and talked us through everything. Nick Hooper was particularly helpful in restoring a water damaged phone so that data could be transferred to the new phone. It took a week in a bag of rice, but it was magic! As a Verizon customer since 2003 I had never changed my plan- somehow erroneously thinking I was getting a better deal... I went over my allotted data usage several months in row now so I went in on Sunday 12/2/17 to check on it. Kuron Couch the service rep. was just fabulous. He quickly explained the new data plans, the features, what I would benefit from, and how much it costs. Could not be more pleased! The new plan is great and better; Kuron was kind, helpful, well informed, and professional. Highly recommend him and this store.I will be back! Thank you Kuron; you are the best! read more

Miguel S. at the Ramona Verizon store was amazing! He spent over an hour with my daughter and me after she opened a pay-as-you-go account online. She was assigned a phone number that was actively assigned to someone else, and we never received the sim card in the mail that she ordered.
