This post is for Verizon as a whole. I was a customer for over 15 years. Complaints: 1. Unexplained fees and or taxes often 2. Three different times Verizon store associates allowed unauthorized account holder on my account to make changes to the account and /or remove. Not one time was I notified, until I checked My bill. When I called the managers just lied and Say they will look into it and get back to me. Yep, never got back to me. They work off commissions, so don't think for a moment they are honest . Beware of FRAUD from this company! Walmart Family Mobile (historically a GSM wireless reseller), now owned by Verizon, has many complaints with the FTC & others due to a fraud scam to convince people to buy a new phone and switch your service to Verizon (a CDMA carrier) in lieu of tech problems blocking people from their accounts and charging their credit cards. The people answering the phone are in another country with bad English that won't say where they are. Walmart stores and corporate have no answer other than to call the customer service number (now answered by people saying they represent Verizon). Walmart is a "re-seller", doing this for the money off their name. This is a very unethical and deceptive business practice, and moved my company's lines to another carrier. read more

My parents switched over from metro pcs a few months ago, they have been nothing but helpful! Specifically Josh, he was suuuper nice! I remember going in before with my husband and he helped him out- he will tell you the truth and will give you great service! I had to come in yesterday bc my phone wasn't working and he hooked me up with a great deal, got it all fixed. When I came in today to drop my old one off, he was so nice and patient when the phone started glitching! Even tho the issue wasn't resolved until a few minutes after close, he didn't act like he was in a hurry or anything, he just made sure I was taken care of. Phenomenal customer service. Beyond horrible service. Went into the store at 6:30pm. Guy walks up to me and says "we have at least 7 people before you. I can put you on the list but we won't be able to get to you before we close. We only have 2 people working". He was the 3rd person but wasn't helping anyone. Scumbag management. Scumbag employees. Avoid this location at all costs. This location is filled with people who actively hate their customer base and lie, (with district manager approval), to get sales. The staff is given metrics to hit on EVERYTHING. And are instructed to deceive the customers by Lindsay Nicholson to try and meet unrealistic asks. They add perks and force set up and go's on customers to bilk more money out of your pockets for Verizon's bottom line. If you don't buy anything else, they treat you like crap. They also complain about every single customer behind closed doors. They hate you, and they hate their jobs. "Management", hides in the back of store to avoid dealing with the customers and belittle you. The staff is untrained and checked out and misquotes non stop. Raymond, is an old uneducated fool, who is as disrespectful to customers as I've ever encountered. If you try and shop at the location in the last half hour? They do everything in their power to get you to purchase online and will lie to try and get people out the door to not have to stay past hours. They will actively stop people at the door and keep them from coming in, in some instances. District manager is aware and does nothing to stop it. Misleading information. Their plans posted in store are posted at the price of 65$ and 80$, however they do not disclose that this is with autopay. I looked at my bill and it's 10$ more without autopay and I was not informed this what so ever. Very unhappy and I just set up my new service. read more

I have been fortunate enough at this location to not run into any problems. The service has always been good and willing to help. Like any other retailer in that area, they get slammed and there can be a wait. My family has been with this company, technically we started with alltel, for 26 years. Sales scumbag by the name of Christian has something up his core and is combative for no apparent reason. Oddball of the century! I bought a new iPhone and Apple Watch yesterday 2/25/22 from a great sales rep by the name of Tia and Aria, and not even 24hrs later the "rubber" screen protector on the watch (i didnt know i bought a rubber screen protector as the phone protector i also bought is glass) peeled off one corner and wrinkled up. Probably because it is rubber right? So I went back to the store today 2/26 and this bum named Christian came to assist me and man what an oddball. I explained to him what happened and that if they can replace it, and he said NO because its damaged and i have to take it up with the screen protector company. His energy was so negative; I said, "but i just got this less than 24hrs ago and its rubber and I didnt know its rubber and now its damaged because its rubber, it peels if you touch something. You can replace it or at least give me my money back for it? It hasn't even been 24hrs." And he just looked at me and said "No its damaged we do not replace damaged, thats why you go through the screen protector company AND pay shipping for a new one!" He was soo like combative, non-apologetic, not trying to at least make me understand let alone help me replace it. He through in the "pay for shipping" part to add to his good feelings. Just combative and rude while trying to make me feel like an idiot. I asked for his first and last name to complain about him and he said "Im not giving you my name!" and walked away. Haha i felt like I was in the street or in high school and like this dude wanted to fight me or something lol. Dude this oddball works in customer service?? Hes soo great at it no wonder this location is rated a 2 out of 5 stars! He needs a life among many other things...Sad for him. I would give this store a zero but that is not an option. Lately it seems their customer service has gone out the window and they are all about the sales and upselling/upgrading you to spend more money. I have been an 18 year customer of Verizon and after my experience today, I was ready to walk. I went in for help with my contact list not downloading completely (which Verizon's rep having done it Saturday) and was met with the "Solutions Manager" and an associate that had no interest in helping me. They were not friendly and even went so far as to ask me "what do you want me to do for you" - what do I want them to do??!! Restore my contact list. I went to an authorized dealer Verizon store nearby and they earned my business. I'll never go to this store again. Update to Verizon comment: You are correct. I visited this location being new to the area in October 2014. I was going in to add my employers discount to my bill. I thought this was simple; two months later I received a bill and noticed my entire plan was changed. I went from a shared 8 GB of data to shared 3 GB of data; which caused me to exceed my data usage and get charged additional fees. I never asked to change my plan, simply add my discount. When I now call to explain what happened, they are saying if I return to my old plan it will be even more than I was originally paying. This was absolutely the worst. I work for a company that has a large company mobile plan with Verizon. We are out of town from Little Rock and never had a problem in Little Rock with customer service at their corporate store. Nic was very condescending and left me guessing where/why he went to back of store. Zero social skills, he was not being helpful or informative at all in trying to get my problem solved. He acted very unprofessional towards me and my boss. When we requested to speak with a manager, Nic called out Lindsay across the room, in which she replied that she was busy at the moment . Verizon is billing my account for a damaged lost iPhone mailed to them through UPS! UPS claimed, they can't locate our package. I filed a report with Verizon. Verizon originally waved all fees, including late fees. Now, they claimed, the case is under investigation and we now owe them the full amount. Bunch of liars. This has to be the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. There are two gentlemen that I'll exclude from this review because one of them, I had no contact with, the other fixed the issue I had with my paperwork without hesitation or combative behavior. Everyone else in that store was hateful beyond compare. When I first signed up for service, the guy who started my service straight lied to me about the transfer gift cards and my bill. My bill ended up being $100 more a month than what I was quoted. I called customer service repeatedly trying to get this resolved. They credited me $20 off my bill for 2 months. I had ongoing service issues with all of our cell phones as well. If I'm paying $256 a month then the service should be stellar. It was not. I was constantly having to call the customer service line and have them do quick fix repairs over the phone. Jump to now: I call customer service fed up with Verizon as a whole. I tell them I'd like to cancel my service completely and what will that look like. The man tells me that all I have to do is port out my numbers then turn my phones in to the corporate store located nearest me. I go in to do that and the manage looks and treats me like I'm a complete idiot. She then proceeds to tell me how corporate is wrong and everything they told me is false. Clearly she knows better. I leave the store extremely frustrated, call corporate again. The man there tells me he's added this conversation to the notes on my account and to go back to the store for a return label. I go back today and am met with nothing but combative and instigating behavior from the man I spoke with. Again telling me that I must be incorrect. That's not how verizon does things, etc. The manager wouldn't even come out to the front. They finally print my return label, I get to my car and the return address is wrong. I go back inside and another female employee says "we can't print another one, that's the only one we are allowed to print" I quite literally wrote out my address on a paper for them. Finally one of the men comes up and says let me see what I can do and brings me back a correct label. This place has done NOTHING correct in my eyes. CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. Went to this location for a new SIM for my iPad. After getting home, I checked my Online Account Information to find I had been enrolled in "Verizon Tech Coach" for $7/month. Called Customer Service who tried to call the store, but said they were closed, even though I had left there 30 minutes before and it was the middle of the afternoon. Went back to the location to find it not closed, told a manager who said I would not be charged, but only because I was cancelling it the same day. I guess I would be SOL if I had waited to check my account. Bottom Line: If you have to do business here, check your receipt carefully. If you don't get a receipt, check your online account information for any new programs or services you may have been enrolled in without your knowledge of consent. read more

A friend of mine broke their phone. He had another old phone he had purchased for his wife that was only used a short time. He decided to have it activated and use that one. He has the original box, receipt of purchase from Walmart, code and all. He goes to Verizon and has it activated. The next day they shut it off and say it was reported as stolen. Now, after being on my phone for hours with Verizon and having all this stuff...He has to purchase a new phone because that phone will never be allowed to be activated again she tells him. So, he is out the cost of that phone, plus has to buy a new phone. He never reported his phone as stolen. I'm now thinking of getting a different service. read more

You're honestly better off calling the customer service 1-800 # for problems or issues. Service line did everything right. This store's employees I delt with were uneducated , unprofessional, unempathetic, and gave me wrong information then continued the argue the validity of the information I was already given By BOTH the service line and by multiple Apple employees. I wanted help with backing up my cloud for a Reset I was told to do and couldn't hold service so I just went in thinking lets just knock it out. I told them my situation and he immediately shut me down. I even asked them to review the notes on my account to understand what I was talking about but only interested in sales. I had screenshots and emails and was clearly upset. I ended up sitting down on their couch in their lobby and called Verizons service number right there because I had WiFi and cell service. So after everything that I have already went through with trying to get my replacement phone, after talking to 11 people! I had to call again this morning because I never received the email was confirmation for the correct claim being put through and for the tracking information plus I never received the confirmation for the $25 credit I was told that I would receive! So I get through to a rep for him to tell me an email was sent to me, I checked my e-mail this morning I never received an email from them! Had I received an email from them I would not have had to call!The $25 credit, there was nothing noted on my account about it! So the last guy I talked to on Sunday night did not give me a $25 credit and didn't even put it in the notes! So still after everything and being lied to again I'm told by a supervisor this time that the one $25 credit was the most that they could do to try to take care of their customer that has had the worst experience ever was a phone carrier! Absolutely ridiculous! This company does not care about their customers. I understand you cannot compensate for every inconvenience, but this one was prolonged by employees not doing their job correctly! I was just in Australia for 2 weeks and, for just a reasonable daily fee, USED MY PHONE just like I was at home. Excellent. All I can say about this location in Rogers, AR. Is buyer beware. I purchased a Verizon - Ellipsis Jetpack 4G for wireless WIFI. First off, I do not liked to be deceived or outright lied to by salespeople, I was told that when I purchased the device that if I ran over the allotted usage the speed would slow down but I would still have access to the web for surfing and email access, this is not true, if you run over the allotted usage they shut off the service completely. I used the device at my office and when the account was out of data usage, I followed the instructions to purchase and add more time, the device took over my proxy settings on my surface laptop and would not release the settings, and I had to totally re-install windows to get rid of the settings. I purchased more time on the 20th of Dec, used it for light browsing and email access for about 4 hours, on the 22nd I shut the device off and went home for Christmas vacation, when I returned on the 26th I went on line to access my email only to find out that the device displayed I was out of data usage (this could not happen as I had turned off the device and no one was using the data) I attempted to contact Verizon customer support at this number 800-922-0294 only to be greeted by a sales ad message asking me if I was 50yrs or older, after hitting the #key to skip the sales ad, it takes you to another sales ad for other services offered, no matter what keys you press all you get is sales ad and no customer support, after 30 minutes on the phone trying to get help I took my frustration to the location in Rogers , 4411 W Walnut Street. I was greeted by a salesperson with whom I explained my situation to and asked for a refund of this device, he informed me that I was 5 days late for the 14 day return policy, he spoke with the manager "Tony" (which by the way never came out to speak to me") and offered me a whole $16.00 refund on the $100.00 I paid to purchase the device. The salesperson was totally unsympathetic to my situation and apparently so was the absent manager "Tony". This is my first and my last experience with Verizon Wireless, I will never purchase any device or service from this company. I would suggest you do your own "fact finding" on any product or service offered by Verizon before you purchase.
