The place states they are open until 8pm on Monday. We got here at 5:30 and there was an "Out to lunch" sign posted on the front door, and didn't say when they would be back. It's now 6:45 and no one has returned. If the store closes at 8, why would employees take their lunch this late in the day? Poor management! read more

Should be allowed to not leave a star on Yelp. I came in here with a phone I bought off ebay, and I asked an employee to activate my phone here. He activated it and sent me on my phone. Later, I found out that he registered me as a new phone that was purchased from their store. They got a sale, and they assigned me to a new plan, which I didn't even know. Now, I'm on the phone fighting tooth and nail to get my old phone plan back. read more

So I uh, popped into the Shop had THE WORST customer service. The two sales people looked so annoyed when I went up to the counter to ask about upgrading my phone. They shared a I-really-hate-this-job-I-am-so-miserable, really negative energies. One of the guys basically told his coworker to take over he looked so disinterested in helping me. It's not like he was busy either. The store was COMPLETELY EMPTY. They were more interested in the kids outside splashing in the rain. They literally stopped talking to look over and watch and comment on them. At some point (when I finally decided to leave) the girl looked at her coworker and gave him the "is she serious...?" Look. Like, girl I CAN SEE YOU! It was actually quite upsetting because I was really excited going in. I went in there wanting to order a phone for an upgrade (yes, I know the iPhone 6 was out of stock, yes if would've waited the several weeks for it, no I don't want the plus, do you see how small my hands are?) but decided to just go to another shop later for it. I suggest smudging the store and smudging them. They need some positive energy, seriously. read more

Another 3rd party store. May I recommend going to ONLY corporate stores such as Market and Van Ness locations. I walk in, the 3 dupes are all ho-hum. When the young guy tried to give me a different deal rather than the other one that is being offered promotionally via web and corp stores, I knew I would get ripped. They usually tell you that "this is a better deal" nonsense. ALWAYS fight for your promotion that is being offered online or on ads, if they don't, WALK OUT. Don't get ripped off. After wasting my time with this dupe, he didn't even say thank you nor bye nor sorry. Here's a tip, if you're not helping anyone or doing anything, clean up your counter! This is the absolute worst Verizon store, in fact, almost any store, I have ever been in. The woman on the phone told me one thing.I think her name was adeline. Then, when I arrived, told me something completely different. Not too atypical so far... However, then, she proceeded to tell me a series of lies. There are so many, I cant even write them all down here. One example: she told me that the phone would cost me 200 total and that was all! Wow, sounds so great!! Turns out that the 200 was to pay the taxes etc. on the phone which I was going to pay full retail on, albeit in payments, but upon further inquiry, the taxes part etc. which is obligatory to pay was only 89. The rest of the 200 was for ("accessories(" I am not a naive buyer. I was extremely clear about what I wanted, and she said she understood. When I got home, I received emails from Verizon about my account changes which showed that she had directly disregarded everything that I had said, and, in fact, had changed my plans without my knowledge. Furthermore, when I called, she answered the phone and continued to try to convince me that what she had done was in my interest whether I had asked for it or not. Then, I asked for her manager. She put me on hold forever. Finally a man named Izzy came on. He said he was the manager, and that he was sorry and would fix everything. He did change my plan back to what is was supposed to be. I went in then, yesterday, to return the phone. (She had told me that the newer Iphone wasnt coming out until the end of september, which is not true. It came out today.) When I returned the phone, they told me that there was a 70 dollar restocking fee. Verizon had told me on the phone that it was 35. Then, the man I was talking to told me that HE was the manager, not Izzy. So, Izzy also lied. This store is a horrible example of customer service in every way. I will tell EVERYONE I know to never go here. I actually would like to know who the actual owner is, so I can tell them myself. I am totally disgusted, not to mention that I wasted almost three hours there. read more

Do not use this store. They are a third party vendor for Verizon, therefore they are completely useless when you need assistance. They will work hard to sell you on programs, yet not deliver on the promises and rebates. If you sign up for something here watch your bills. If you do have a problem, bring your patience. Be careful here. These people are totally irresponsible. I bought a phone and paid for it with my Amex card. Then, the told me I had to fill out this financing paper, but not to worry, there would be no monthly charge for the device. Well, of course there was a monthly charge. Revisited the store and was assured by Michael that a check would be issued to me for the amount of the phone purchase. Nope. Never happened. Called Verizon, and they were basically useless. Got the store on the phone and more stonewalling from the Assistant Manager. Finally called American Express and told them the story. Thank God for American Express. These guys are complete scammers. DO NOT go here. I lost my phone and they tried to tell me that I could not submit an insurance claim for it in their store. That I had to go all the way home, submit the insurance, then come back and get my old phone activated. He then tried to get me to buy a completely new phone for $700. read more

I would warn any future customer DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. If I could give zero stars I would. Both times I went into the store I was In there for over 3 hours, not greeted, and very disappointed. The "manager" Marquis who helped me out completely mislead me on everything I had to pay for. I was charged twice on my card yet only to be given the receipt for one of the charges. Nothing was clearly communicated and I ended up with multiple line items on my bill that I was not aware that were going to be there. I get home and he apparently he added the "essential bundle" which included a portable charger to my bag without telling me or letting me know it was about to be purchased! I didn't realize he had put it in my bag until I got home! Secondly I had another $20 charge for the "set up and go", which I was also not aware of. That charge includes setting up your phone, ad after 3 hours of waiting and finally getting to the point to set up my iCloud he told me their internet was not fast enough and told me I would have to set up my new Iphone somewhere else. If you want to go to a place of scammers then maybe this is your place! read more

My phone died, went to this Verizon store. Izzy help port to a device I brought in - activated, made sure my plan was right. I went back a week later to make multiple changes (switching to the pixel from the older phone - add a 4g hotspot, move phone numbers between devices, ...) - he made sure everything was just right. Izzie knows his stuff! I have to give major props and praise to Izzie for helping me a couple of months ago. I came in with several tasks (buy a new phone, wipe my previous one, activate the new one, copy all my info from the old one to the new one, etc), and Izzie couldn't have been more patient with not only all these tasks, but my hundreds of questions during the process. He was cool, calm, and collected the entire time, and I was impressed by his product and service knowledge. I felt like I was working with a smart phone guru. I would recommend Izzie to anyone who wishes to have a positive and enjoyable experience related to their phone, phone service, phone plan, etc. This stuff can get tedious and frustrating, but with Izzie on the case, my experience was nothing but positive. 6 minutes and two phone cords later and I am truly a fan. With two hours of traffic in front of me, I really needed to get some work done in the car. Not helpful to look down and see 1% remaining on your phone, while your blue tooth is making dying sounds in your ear. Ran in, told them what I needed, got in and out and literally back to car in 6 minutes. Sweet. And it was definitely cheaper than I would have paid at Mac or a kiosk somewhere. read more

My two friends and I had the best experience possible at Verizon Wireless today. The gentlemen helping us was named Ray, and he was as helpful as can be. He set my friend up with new service for her Iphone, helped me choose new headphones, and then set us up with wireless. We had so much fun with him. He had great customer service, knew how to laugh with us, offered us water, and made us feel really special. He made us very happy to be Verizon Wireless customers. On a word-of-mouth recommendation we came to this store to get new equipment for our existing Verizon family plan, which now has 5 lines. Ryan helped us with different models' features, and once we picked the models, prepared all the rebate forms + envelope so my work is minimal in sending them in. He also helped us with making the best use of our equipment credit, which our previous Verizon store was less helpful with. The legendary Verizon (corporation) customer service has only now been surpassed by this store's dedication to service, service, service! Go to them for all your Verizon help. Pros: Friendly, good layout, water cooler. Cons: Waiting for single worker, irresponsibly misinformed me, water was empty. Why 2 stars: Their error caused me to pay. Before the end of my cycle, I was told the falsehood that I could terminate mid-cycle. A few days into the new cycle, I wasn't allowed to cancel. I had to pay a whole month and it's their fault I didn't do it the first time! I don't trust them anymore! This was not obscure info! How could they get this wrong? Why was I stuck with their mistake?? I feel bad hurting their average with two stars, but this was really basic info! read more

RED ALERT! BEWARE! SCAM ARTISTS AT WORK! They won't give you any pricing in writing and the pricing changes as you go through the process. They have all kinds of hidden fees they don't mention that pop up on your bill (i.e.. recycling fees) and they add things to your bill without your knowledge. She gave me my phone in a case and when I looked at the bill I noticed she billed me for a $79 phone case package. It was a big hassle to get her to refund me the money (I had to wait 30 minutes while she supposedly contacted her manager, I think she was hoping I would just take it because of the wait). When I called Verizon they told me that this place is not a premium retailer so they won't back up any of their actions. I would never, ever use this place and I have seen plenty of other Yelpers who say the same. read more

Store manager tried to sell me used iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus for my wife. Unless I had noticed the iPhone 6 Plus had a fifthandpacific,com airwatch modem device management on it (reset all would not reset the phone), she would have sold phone the phone to me as new. She also did the same tactic on my "new" iPhone 6 as it clearly had been unsealed out of the box and the open film cover was partially removed before. Her forked tongue tried to talk her way out of it. A new phone is unsealed new in the box. Open box is not a new phone. Don't try to pawn it off a new! read more

I was there with a lost cell phone, it was 6 pm on a Monday and I said I needed to leave with an operating cell phone. I was ready to pay. We discussed different phones and plans and when I decided on one they couldn't sell it to me because they had no SIM cards in the store! What? You couldn't sell me a phone? Any phone? So instead, they gave me a loaner to use, it only had a little juice, but go home and give it a charge and you'll be fine. With the tiny bit of juice left I could see they helped me download my contacts. Cool. Wow! Over-the-top customer service. I was set. Thanks so much. I was grateful and expressed. it. Yeah, great. And they have a bridge to sell ya', too. I walked out, hopped the bus, in a few minutes the juice was gone. When I got home and plugged it in...the screen flashed. Nothing. Tried taking the battery out for a minute, tried another charger. Nothing. Called Verizon customer service, and the lovely Shivonne stayed on the phone and kept calling me back to see if I was getting anywhere. Charger in all night. Nothing. The guy gave me a bum phone just to get me out of there. I would've appreciated him telling me "You have an hour left, go find another Verizon to help you." Rather than me thinking problem solved, I'm set for now, but actually now not having a phone for a long work day today on a day I need a phone! I tried calling their store and their mailbox was full... couldn't even leave a message. Don't go to Verizon franchise stores. Go to their corporate stores if you want help. I always prefer supporting small and local businesses, but not ones who do business like this. read more

I walked into this store 3 times and tried to purchase a phone (a $650 phone!) and no one was available to help me. First time, I walked in saw 2 employees sitting at desks in the back, neither acknowledged me, I looked at some display phones while waiting to be helped, it got awkward so I left. Second attempt, I walked in, all the lights were off, no one in sight, it felt like they were closed and accidentally left the door open, so I left. Third attempt, I walked in, only one person working and he was helping a customer, I waited ~15 minutes and then another customer walked in, the employee asked if I had a "quick question" otherwise he was busy and couldn't help me. You might asked why I went to the store so many times? Well, I tried calling multiple times and they don't ever answer the phone, but I'm realizing this could be because only one employee works there and he or she was probably with a customer. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. IT IS NOT A VERIZON WIRELESS STORE. I went to this store earlier this year to get a replacement phone, all smiles and service oriented until you find out that everything they tell you is a lie. Jeremy is a fraud and a LIAR!!!!! They compromised my credit card and forged my signature on a contract. The money that i paid them at the time I thought was to get a used replacement phone. Instead I spent several hundred dollars on accessories that I did not receive, bogus set up and go charges and found out that I owed Verizon $700 for a replacement phone with a contract made out to someone else's name and a forged signature. Verizon ended up refunding me the amount for the new phone (that I never got) and fixed my bill but I had to change my credit card number and spend countless hours on the phone with Verizon. Good thing I wrote down all of the times that I tried calling A Wireless to fix this problem. I even went in a few times only to be told that they would either call me back or email because management was not in. One time Jeremy said he was not trained on the register to process a refund.
