Great customer service on a return! I came to this location on the prior Saturday and the system wasn't working and my return was not going through. The employee wasn't sure what to do because I purchased it at another location. He told me to come back during the week. Fortunately, when I came back today, I was helped by Amanda. Cristian is absolutely wonderful! Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable! We came in a few days ago because my mother was visiting from out of state, and her phone was accidentally deactivated early when her family plan group all got new phones. (Including her, but her new phone was with them.) She was panicked thinking she'd be stuck in another state with no phone, but Cristian was able to fix everything for her, despite having to work with the other people in her group over the phone, which was quite a challenge. He was extremely professional, helpful, and kind. He even took the time to explain some of the features her new phone will have, which was great! I worked with Oscar throughout the entire process, and I have to say -- I had such a great experience! I came in to transfer my T-Mobile line over to Verizon and to get a new phone. Before visiting the store, I had already done some research and knew what I wanted in terms of devices and services. It had been a while since I'd visited a mobile store since I usually handle everything online, but Oscar made the in-store experience smooth and enjoyable. He listened carefully to my requests and immediately took care of everything I asked for. Not only that, he offered excellent recommendations that fit my budget and needs perfectly. The process was quick and efficient. I was in and out faster than expected, but I still left with plenty of useful information that confirmed my research and even taught me more. Dealing with Verizon the past month has been an absolute nightmare. We first were dealing with Verizon online and the customer service line, but since they kept messing up, we decided to come into the store. From there, it became more of a dumpster fire. In August we ordered a phone for myself, my father and my husband. Theirs came in, but mine didn't. We found out after calling that that phone was lost in transit and had to be returned before we could order another one. Once it was found, which we only knew because we called, we ordered another one and were told it would be there by that Friday. Since it never came in again, we went into the Verizon store to get additional assistance. We were told they would be able to order a phone on Wednesday and that they would text me that I am able to come in and order it, but I never received that text. When we came back in on Thursday, we dealt with an extremely rude sales associate. I was visibly frustrated and kept stating which phone I wanted (iPhone 16), he kept questioning me as to why I didn't want the 17. I told him it was much more expensive, I didn't like the look of it, and that I simply wanted the iPhone 16 that I had been trying to order for weeks. From there, one of the gentlemen who helped us before came out and took over. When we explained the situation, he insisted he texted me the day prior. When he checked, he had texted a different number tied to our account. So, I had no idea that I could reorder. We were then told that we could no longer order iPhone 16s because the new one was coming out, so at this point we were SOL. That night we ordered the iPhone 17 online because we had no other option. I won't get it in until mid-October now, and my phone does not work anymore at all. I would like to stress our original sales associate and the manager were both looking for solutions and handled the situation very well. They were both very authentic and apologetic. The other one however, was extremely rude and I am shocked he's in sales at all because no part of me in that situation ever considered buying anything from him. We are now working with Verizon online to fix the situation, but I am now out of a phone when I travel for work, so this is not safe. We have been customers for over 20 years and have 7 lines tied to this account, so this was extremely disappointing all around. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I recently transferred my phone service over from AT&T to Verizon thinking it was a good idea.... I am a first responder and had First Net with AT&T and ultimately did it have many issues with it at all and their service was amazing in areas other service providers didn't get. I transferred based on the fact my phone bill would be cheaper. I signed up for 4 lines and even brought over my internet services. I was promised at the time of signing that my termination fees would be paid off for AT&T as well as Comcast. It's been almost two months now and Verizon is refusing to pay my disconnection fees with Comcast. On top of that, they over charged me on my first bill and never adjusted it. My termination fees for Comcast are almost $1,400 brining over my phone line to them as well as my internet. It's very sad that Verizon promises customers one thing and then does not follow through. I would recommend not going to Verizon. Our service with AT&T was much better as I don't get service in several places and there's times i'm unable to use my internet or make phone calls. Don't waste your time with Verizon. read more

I would give them zero stars. I went yesterday with 20min before the store closed. Mind you, I left work early to make it on time. I recently bought a phone online through Verizon website, I am trying to exchange it. I had called the 611 and they advised me the best approach was to get it exchanged at a Verizon warehouse store. I went in, there was a guy on a tablet and did not want to help. I explained to him what I wanted to do and he just ignored me. I had to ask him, do you want my # or something to pull me up so we can work on an exchange. At the end of it all, I didn't get the phone exchanged because with 7 minutes before their store closes they were doing inventory and it would "screw up" their inventory if they gave me a new phone. They suggested I leave work earlier to be there with enough time or to call 611. I proceeded to call 611 again and was told the quickest way to replace the phone was in person. I'm at a lost because I've had this new phone for almost a week and cannot seem to get an exchange going. Lesson learned is that I will not buy any phones online and at the Verizon store. I'm considering switching back to AT&T, their customer service was a lot better. read more

this review is for the two employees who helped me. first, Mr. Singh--you are the most patient, professional, positive thinking customer service rep i think i may have ever witnessed. mr. singh was being harassed, yelled at, and eventually name-called by an older, rude, angry customer. if the customer was younger, i would have said something sooner, because mr. singh was taking abuse while the whole time maintaining a professional and patient demeanor. you are a better man than me, mr. singh, and i would hire you to work for me or i would work for you any day. the employee who helped me, former softball player, was also incredibly nice, helpful, and social. both of you deserve a prize for making it through the last shift. i'm sorry that there are people who think it's ok to treat the people who maintain our society (you, me, and the rest of the proletariat) with disrespectful entitlement. now in terms of the pricing and contract, that's another story :P, but you two were dope af. read more

The Verizon gal came out to the front and before I fully explained my issue she said I had to make an appointment with tech support. I said that if I go to the cottle location I bet they would help me. I went to the Cottle location right afterwards and sure enough they quickly diagnosed the problem, switched out my sim and I was up and running again. Verizon agents are incentivized to enroll customers in high priced services. Many will make dishonest promises to convince the customer to make a change. If the customer cannot be convinced, many agents will enroll customers in services without their knowledge or consent. Once the customer discovers the service change, if the old plan is no longer offered, the customer will be unable to go back to it. In that regard Verizon is complicit in the dishonesty of its agents. read more

We came to this Verizon store wanting to buy a new phone outright for full retail price...pretty simple, we assumed. Justin was the employee "helping" us, and without asking or consulting us at all, he signed me up for a 24 month plan on the iPad that he was using to process my order. When he told me the total, it was the price of a one month bill payment. I told him I wanted to buy it for full retail price in the store, not make monthly payments. At this point, he awkwardly tried to give a couple excuses, all of which were complete lies. He first said the iPad only gave him the option of setting up a 24 month plan. Knowing this was not true, we asked him to double check because that didn't seem right. He then went to ask his manager, and came back to tell us that the only way I could buy it for retail was if I had a physical wad of cash in hand to pay with because of "fraud" purposes. His "fraud" reasoning was a 100% lie, and a cover so that he could get the commission employees earn for starting a 24 month plan. Who buys a new phone with a wad of cash?! No one, because it was a lie. On top of trying to sneakily start a payment plan, he was also adding a $30 upgrade charge which only applies when you start a payment plan. All in all, both Justin and the manager he spoke to while helping us were unethical and flat out dishonest. We caught him in a lie, knowing that he was trying to rope us into a payment plan we did not want. It was very disappointing to be treated like this from an employee, and they will certainly not be getting my business ever again. read more

Very bad connection the internet most of the time is weak and they keep over changing you every month and I have to call stay on line for over one hour and stay another hour with the employee and finally they say ok we give you credit next month but when I get next month statement I see there's no credit and more extra charges very dishonest company. read more

I went in for an iphone 12 upgrade. It was my unlucky day because I was met by their rep Carlos Cabrerar. He entered the wrong IMEI in the system so I had to call Corporate to get that fixed so I could receive my $300 trade-in money. He also added bogus charges to my account which Corporate again had to undo. I came back to the store and asked him to fix the bogus charges for me, he refused to help. When I asked him why hadn't I received the $300 for my trade-in, he said he didn't know. He was very rude, immature, unprofessional, and unhelpful. In the end, Corporate figured out the reason was because Carlos Cabrerar, the nitwit, entered the wrong IMEI number in the computer. When I asked to speak to his Superior he gave me a bogus phone number to call that went straight to voicemail. I never got a call back. He refused to give me his Superior's work schedule when asked. He did everything he could to block me from speaking to his Superior. This guy should not be given a job. If you're reading this Carlos Cabrerar. Not only Corporate gave me back all the refunds, they also gave me an apology and a generous credit for all the troubles you put me through. Carlos Cabrerar is a bad apple and a very shady character. Avoid this guy at all costs. I had such a bad experience. I disconnected Verizon, bought my iPhone 12 from AT&T, and switched over to AT&T service. I was a Verizon customer for 16 years straight! Bad first impression among walking into this store on a busy Sunday night , wasn't acknowledged by anybody and floated around for a couple of minutes until an employee got up from sitting on the ground to take my name down. Wait was about an hour and a half, then finally saw someone to purchase a new phone. Went pretty quickly, but when I asked if needed to test anything or transfer anything like a SIM card from my old phone to this one he said no. It was my fault for being naive and walking out of the store :( Got home and couldn't get my new phone to work, my old phone was also now no longer working and I couldn't make or receive calls/ texts on either phone. I was able to call 611 the Verizon help line on my landline, which took a few tries to get a live person. This person was super nice and tried to be helpful although he was confused about what was happening lol, he ended up walking me through getting the SIM card out of my old phone to put into my new one (he had me take my earring out and use it to release the SIM card LOL) anyways, after popping out the SIM card holder on my new phone, discovered there was not a SIM card in there. The Verizon rep was stumped and told me he could no longer help. I was sick the next morning and really didn't want to go to the store, however both of phones weren't working and I had to use my phone for work. I called this Verizon store and explained what was happening and they said to come in, I reeeeeally didn't want to wait another hour and a half but the person on the phone assured me I could get seen without a wait. I drove over there and was greeted this time by a person at the front, although he didn't know what I was talking about. Sadly, I had to wait another hour and a half. I wasnt feeling well and admittedly started to get pretty impatient. It wasn't until I got up and paced some that someone acknowledged me. Finally got help and was given a new SIM card and said I was good to go. NOT making the same mistake I did before, I requested to test if I could make a phone call. I could. Not. LOL. They were about to send me out the door AGAIN with A not working phone he did fix it after and I did two tests to make sure it worked before leaving but sheeeeeeesh. For what you pay for Verizon I would expect a litttle better service? I'm hoping the other Verizon stores aren't this bad or maybe it's time to start considering a different service .. read more

I entered the store and all the employees looked at me, no immediate greeting but finally the gal at the end of the counter said hello! The girl who helped me was Xuan. I felt so bad that she went thru and opened EVERYbox to show me the difference in cases, but she really didn't seem to mind. She was very helpful and had such a good demeanor. The place was ran like a well oiled machine, even when I came back in because I had forgotten my keys. I was made to feel like I was a priority by the guy at the door (Pablo?) And the female manager.. and even joked around with by another associate saying "you said a Lakers lanyard? I was buying a lens protector for my iPhone 14 pro max and the manager of the store brought out a box with a product that had a picture that didn't match what I needed (it was for a iPhone 13). I told him that it didn't look like what I needed and he said it was and that the picture didn't match what the product was. i asked if he could open to check and he refused saying it was the correct protector for iphone 14 pro max and that he has seen it before (were the product doesn't match the picture on the box). I unfortunately listen to him but told him 30 seconds later to refund me the cost of incorrect lens cover. He blamed Verizons system for giving him the wrong information instead of himself and his pwn eyes!! Dom helped me with a tricky situation with a new phone that needed exchanged. He helped me out when no one else could! Longer story: I had bought a new phone from Best buy online, with in-store pick up at Best buy, and with Verizon device payments. The selfie camera didn't work out of the box. I thought the software upgrades would fix it so I waited a bit. Then realizing the front camera still didn't work, I attempted to return my phone to Best buy. They wouldn't take it back because it was longer than 14 days and on Verizon device payments. The first Verizon store I tried wouldn't take it back because I bought it from Best buy. Moral of the story: #1 Dom is awesome! Visit him for excellent customer support for all your phone needs. #2 Do not buy your phones from Best buy, especially not the Almaden expressway and blossom Hill store. You are better off buying your phone for a Verizon plan from a Verizon corporate store! read more
