I was in need of a new phone and called the alameda store and Jane took the the time to locate the phone I wanted and she referred me to the Rivermark plaza retail store. Antonio at the Rivermark store was very friendly and accommodating in every aspect from the phone set up, tutorials and explaining the different phone Coverage plans. I went to this location to get a new phone (galaxy s10) and the sales person Luis told me that they have a promotion going on since i was buying a phone over $500 i can get an galaxy s10E For free and just have to pay taxes and $10 additional for the line. At first i wasn't sure that it will be free but he insist that there's no hidden fees so I went for it, pay the taxes and got a "free" phone. Once i got home I checked myverizon app and it says that my next bill will be for $360 which normally i pay $160 every month and there was all kinds of fees like transfer of new line, activation fees, etc etc which luis never told me about. So i ent the next day to return it and the guy that was there told me that the manager was not there and he's the only one that can authorized refund so i have to wait another 2 days for the return. I don't like to write negative reviews but i don't like that they lie to me just to get more money from a "free" phone. I will never come to this store again. read more

All the good reviews for this store is not true, the sales rep were not open and honest about the hidden charges once you signed up a phone, they charged you a ridiculous $19.99 for Set Up and Go Plus, in actual fact they did nothing, I was handed the phone in the box unopened, so what setup service are you providing? Also the price of the phone from this store is more expensive compared to the retail selling price. I can just ordered online and pick up the phone in the store cheaper compare to walk in to the store. I felt cheated and frustrated despite getting a new phone. This is the worst store I have been to. The reps here are not honest and open all the fees upfront. I worked with them to get the monthly fees under $90 which the rep calculated but it turned out I get a monthly bill over $120 and there is nothing I can do to lower it now as monthly device fees now fixed. I spend one and half hours there because the inexperienced rep who begged me to give her a higher evaluation. They said free tablet but then they did not disclosed one time activation fee or monthly $10 charge either. NO recommendation! read more

This is the worst experience I have,I will never recommend anyone to this store.I bought a iPhone 7 at this store yesterday and change my plan from prepaid to post pay，the issues were as follows: 1.The employees is not professional because I spend nearly 3 hours here to finish everything and input my PIN for more than 10 times because the employees was not familiar with the system. 2.They will never tell you in advance they will charge you set up and go plus fee for each account $19.99 but actually did nothing for you ,which is free in regular Verizon store.Until they print the documents you find they charge you more and increase Redux Single Line Membership for $29.99. 3.The is price for the iphone is only $549.5 but they charge you $610 and promised you they are the cheapest one. I feel very frustrated with the store especially the harsh attitude to customer,they don't want to solve the problem for you but treat you to call police to drive you away. I am very angry but have no choice finally return everything because I don't want to do any business with them and trust them anymore.Even in the end I lost $110,including $70 for restocking fee and $40 for Set up and Go plus fee for two accounts,this is ridiculous and unacceptable. read more
