Not wanting to go to the mall during chaotic xmas week, I opted to try the Sunnyvale location. David was working alone and I must say, he handled the situation pretty well considering there was a homeless woman ranting about her personal problems. He had the diplomacy to respond to her questions without engaging too much. After about 15min, he politely interrupted her spiel and informed her he needed to help his next customer (me). Very professional and polite. He struggled with popping the back panel off my mom's phone and even had more of a challenge trying to get the sim card out. I appreciated how careful his efforts were so as not to damage the sim card. Turns out the sim card had been slightly dislodged from the slot and the phone was unable to read the sim. Perhaps my mom had dropped the phone at some point. Once he reinserted the sim card, the phone worked again. He also informed us that the sim card can be replaced if we have any future issues. Lovely and respectful gentleman. Wonderful customer service!

Not only did he make sure I was able to complete my transaction before the promotion ended, but he also helped set up my new phone while simultaneously assisting multiple other customers. Even when some customers became impatient and pushed for priority treatment, Jeff handled every interaction with professionalism, courtesy, and composure. It's rare to find someone who combines strong sales skills with such outstanding customer service. Jeff went above and beyond, and Verizon is fortunate to have him on the team. Let me preface by saying that I was worried about coming here. I had seen some reviews for uBreakiFix (this store and others). Some reviews are almost frightening. However, I am very happy to say that I had an amazing experience! In fact, my experience was the antithesis to those other reviews. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted with a smile and care. This seemed quite genuine. The employee, Alondra, spent time listening to my concerns and doing her best to give me the best attention and information that I could. It turns out that I had gone through Samsung (and the Samsung system was not syncing correctly). So, using Alondra's advice, I was able to call Samsung and try to get it squared away. I then called the store and spoke with Troy. Despite Samsung's continued problems with syncing their reservation system, Troy and Alondra were able to figure everything out for me. I was amazed by the empathy that they displayed. I had driven from Palo Alto (which isn't a short drive in traffic). However, the care and attention that was shown actually blew me away! They were able to commence the repair (a complex and defective Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone) and have it completed very quickly. The store is located in a convenient location with plenty of open parking spaces. It's located on Saich Way (right off of Stevens Creek Blvd) across the street from a Target; however, there was a lot of open, free parking. The store itself is very clean and inviting. It's basically a counter with some seating and a small retail space -- offering things like phone/tablet cases. However, it also provides a lot of information about how uBreakiFix works. All of the magic happens in the work environment areas down the short hall behind the counter. Overall, I am very pleased. It has been a long time since I felt that a business went up-and-beyond for customers like this. I thought that I might be a one-off. However, I watched how Alondra dealt with other customers. No reason, just wouldn't let me use them. Then this short Asian guy comes over and was condescending. Just had a "here we go with another troubled customer" attitude. I just wanted to figure out why they weren't accepting the gift cards and I felt like he was just trying to show off to his other co-worker how to handle difficult customers. I presume one of the workers thought these Best Buy gift cards were illegitimate, but I don't know. Went home and ordered online with the gift cards. Worked fine. I called Phone Hut Repair on Jan. 23rd and got a quote of $320 to repair my phones broken front…read morescreen and back glass. I asked if I could be provided a quote via text or email so I could provide the quote to my insurance for approval and they said yes I'll text it to you...I did not receive any text. The next day Jan. 24th I went in person and apparently he remembered my device and said he sent me a text I mentioned I did not receive anything. He took my name and phone number and stated I'll send you a text with the quote in 15 minutes. Yet again I have not received any quote so I'm unable to provide my insurance with it and continue my claim. The repair cost would have been paid out of my pocket and I would have been reimbursed. They would not have to deal with my insurance so I'm not sure why they lied to me twice and didn't want to provide a quote. Oh well taking my business elsewhere.
