I placed an order and paid for a new iPhone 17 via my Verizon app on Wednesday. The app said I could pick it up at the store within two hours, but now it's been three business days and they have yet to inform me that my phone is ready for pick up. I'm not sure why it takes this long to pick up a phone that is supposedly in stock according to the Verizon app? When I call the store it transfers me to some offshore Verizon support which is useless. I just wanted to upgrade my phone. I don't understand why it's not ready yet? read more

I wanted to give a shoutout to Juan with this review. Juan is a LEGENDARY Customer Service and Sales Agent for Verizon. After my flip phone snapped in half (no joke) at 7:40pm, I got to the store right before it closed (7:50pm). Juan stayed late to help me work through getting a new flip phone activated on my Verizon account, which turned out to be a bit of an arduous task due to basic phones being restricted more than smartphones on the backend. Juan clearly had the customer's best interests in mind, and despite the non-standard process in activating a flip phone, I was in and out of the store quick due to Juan being able to solve these problems via a variety of technical methods. Usually, people in Juan's position would have been too exhausted to handle a last-minute customer, which would be furthermore exacerbated by the setup difficulties; and usually, people in Juan's position would let their personal interests supercede the understanding of the unfortunate urgency of the situation I was in due to the snapping of my phone. I'm grateful to have had such good, actually the best I've ever gotten at a phone store, service at the Seal Beach Verizon- major shoutout to Juan. Thank you. read more

I read some the lower rated reviews and their concerns are valid although overly dramatic. Consider the options. First, this is not a Verizon store like back in the day. These are privately owned dealers for Verizon products and services. So what? I picked up a 5G router for my home and paid the $30. store fee happily. The router was a free upgrade. Carson and the other two sales people are very knowledgeable. Yes, it gets busy. The service is solid and I dont want to order a router and wait for it. My 4G router went bust and we have to have a router for security cams, internet, etc. like many people. Verizon stopped having stores a long time ago. These Victra / Verizon stores are a good option for same day solutions, free professional guidance and they are open on weekends. Convenient. read more

I visited this Verizon store on today (Saturday) around 2 PM, and while the customer service was friendly in setting up my appointment, it wasn't really needed since the store wasn't busy. I went there specifically because they had the new iPhone 16 Max Pro in stock. An associate helped us right away and mentioned they had phones available, but only in certain colors and storage options, which was fine by us. However, when we started discussing the purchase, she brought up a $400 accessory bundle that was mandatory. We weren't interested in that, so she checked with her manager, who confirmed we could only buy the phones if we also bought the bundle. Frustrated, we decided to leave empty-handed. I later called Verizon customer service to ask if that was really the case, and they said no, it wasn't necessary. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this location. It felt like they were pushing sales too hard, which made for a pretty disappointing experience. read more

This place has created a nightmare for us. First please understand this is a Verizon affiliation store (Victra), not an actual Verizon store. That means they are there to up sale you on products and services to make their profit. If you want a new phone, they will add $40.00 to the cost - and some of their team will not even tell you about it. Accessories are overpriced as well. Since this is not an actual Verizon store, if you are having an issue and are out of state or down in San Diego for the weekend - other stores can't help with the phone (Verizon can help with the service). Want to make an exchange or adjustment? Back to this store only and get ready for hidden fees. The integrity of this place is also highly suspect. This was most obvious when a different customer came in, the wait was long and they asked if they could just call customer service and the assistant manager said no, the system is always messed up when a new iPhone comes out. Come back tomorrow. Really? Just because of the release of a product, there are technical issues? BS. For our specific problem was the same assistant manager who we placed our original order through, went back the following day to change one of phones we were getting and told us to wait for the phones to come in and he would take care of things. No problem. However, when we get there after all the phones are in, and we talk about the upgrade - he tells us they only have black (in color). Small issue, fine no big deal. However, what he did, without disclosure or our consent is downgrade the phone as well. We could only be provided an emailed receipt (wonder why). We did not see that deception until we got home (late) and the next day contacted the store. I get an appointment with the manager the next day, talk to him and he said he's going to take care of us. I'll get a call later that day (Saturday) or the following Monday. I receive no contact, no notice on where still working on the issue until I have to call back late Monday and best I get is to leave a message (again). Tuesday I finally get a call and they just want to pass me back to the same assistant manager that originally deceived us. What? How is this taking care of my problem? he solution to my problem? They will swap my phones out, but charge me still 39.99 per phone as an additional service fee. For their problem, their mistake, they want to add charges to me to fix it. There are official Verizon stores in Lakewood and Cerritos Towne Center which I would recommend you go to and don't pay the extra for this store. I am also warning you that they will not be honest, why didn't we get a printed receipt and only by email? So we would not notice. Why would things be handled later? Yesterday I came at Verizon store with my family at 12800 Seal Beach Blvd e, Seal Beach. We had some phone number linkage issues, where 3 numbers had to be remapped to diffident sim and esim cards. One of the employees Erica met us and started digging into our problem. She was very passionate and kind to us. We spent almost 2 hours there because she had to call support several times, and even escalate the issue all the way to tier 3 support. Not everybody was pleasant on the support line, and when Erica was redirected she had to explain the same issue over and over again from scratch. In the end, all phones were mapped correctly, and we also got a gift deal on apple watch SE we didn't know about, where the deal didn't increase our current monthly payment, which was a free gift.
