They added things to my plan I never approved of and had me pay more. My plan went from $135 a month to $220 a month. There was some kid who was working there who was more concerned about racking up commission than listening to me explain what I was looking for. He added a whole phone line to my plan that I didn't approve of, didn't give me credit for my trade in. Upsold me on a tablet by saying it was only $5 a month, not $30. When I called and spoke to the manager, he said he'd give me my credit for my trade in and never did. After months of calling and getting no response I looked at my account and called the ACTUAL Verizon. There was a line added that was never activated. I've been paying $50 more a month than I should have been. They've been reported to Verizon, and I have been credited the amount I was charged for a line I didn't approve of. It didn't even have a phone associated with it. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Quick and easy visit to return cable TV equipment. Looked them up using Yelp and headed there. No issue turning the items in. The employee assisting me had a clue and even provided a confirmation receipt and a toll free number and tips to avoid being on hold a long time when you call Verizon to let them know you've terminated services. Store does assist with payments for mobile phone service and general frequently asked questions when you want to establish cable or mobile service. Clean well maintained store with courteous employees. Parking is limited and shared in a small lot with neighboring businesses along Severna Hwy. read more

It's unfortunate if you have to go to one of these Victra authorized retailers for your Verizon needs. Verizon should unauthorize this retailer from picking up and dropping off equipment. This is not the experience they want for their customers. I spoke with Verizon today. If you need to drop off equipment or pick up equipment, what they do is put you in queue behind full service customers who need a sit-down to consult with sales. Usually for an hour. Why treat people who are just dropping off equipment or picking up equipment the same as people coming in for sales. This is totally unfair and disrespectful to Verizon customers. Sales are their priority in these authorized retailer stores. They need sales. What do they care about Verizon customers returning their equipment. They don't make money off of that. I simply wanted to drop off my equipment and I kept being told I had to wait in line along with the sales customers. How ridiculous is that. After waiting 45 minutes (i even went to Starbucks and came back, ate lunch), I went back in and begged one of them to just scan in this equipment "BETWEEN" their sales appts. No such luck. Sorry, they said. It's not fair to the other people waiting in line. I met two other ladies who were upset about the same thing. They just wanted to drop off their equipment. One salesman told her if she just left it there, they weren't responsible. She asked if she could just leave it! One other lady left saying the same thing, "this is ridiculous." I also left. I hope Verizon does drop this retailer because I know they don't want us going through this to return, exchange or pick up equipment. It's like we're the step children of this retailer. DUMP THEM!! I left, came back home and called VERIZON, they apologized and said they will be reporting this retailer, they don't want us going through this to return and pick up equipment. And they have a lot of these locations. They have no business accepting returns or pickups, period!! I decided to ship my old boxes back to Verizon via UPS. I'll never go back there. read more

Went to get internet service switched. Showed Nick brochure for the router I had and was told confidentially it would "definitely work," but according to the Verizon installer that came the following week, I had to get order something else. My bill was also not the $39.99 discussed but $49.99, which I'm told was because autopay wasn't enrolled, even though we had discussed it. By the time I found out about the issue, the bill was already generated, and Verizon won't credit it. In general, I'm annoyed that you can't trust what you're told. read more

Let me start by saying I just walked in. I didn't make an appointment as I just went during my break at work. I knew essentially what I was interested in doing so I knew I wouldn't have to be talked into anything. As soon as I walked in, a young woman immediately said hello and had me sit at her desk. I told her my issue and what I was interested in doing and she looked at me, noticing my scrubs and asked if I was off work. I said no, just a break at work and she scoffed and said " This is going to take over an hr and a half without even knowing what I was there for". I said ok. She big time scoffed and said "Okayyyyy". Still sitting there, she asks for my PIN. I give it to her. She quickly, with her long fake nails, types it in. She said it was wrong and immediately tried a second time without asking. I said I'm pretty sure it's that but maybe it's this. She immediately starts typing it in and I ask her ( Having just gone through this with my Husband at another store ) After 3x, i'll be locked out, correct? She said yes. I said well let me think for a second. Then just overwhelmingly getting a really bad vibe, I told her that I would just look online and order online. She continued to ask me for all my information continuing on with the sale. I said I was also close to the Pasadena, MD store and she said they closed. I said we were just there with my Husband and she just kept saying they closed down. Just a really bad experience. I wasn't expecting to walk in and immediately be helped but I was expecting some form of polite customer service care. She just seemed a bit immature and rude. read more

This place is ridiculous. The woman in the store acts like she's doing you a favor. We signed in then were told to wait in our car. How long should we expect to be waiting? we asked. 30 mins to 2 hours! Well, that's a long wait. We got a text about 30 mins later and 5 mins after that, we got another text that our appt was cancelled. When we called the store to say we were waiting, we were in Muzak land. If I could give less than one star I would, the people that work in this store are possibly on sedatives or just so inexperienced they can not answer a single question. I went in to ask a simple phone activation question and the girl that was working there was so absolutely incapable of human interaction that I am legitimately suspecting she was an artifical intellegence experiment gone wrong. She gave me a blank stare and just kept saying "yeaaaaaah" when I was asking non yes or no questions. She then gave me terrible information, didn't offer any solutions and I am probably just going to give up on hope that "Idiocracy" isnt going to happen IRL Please if you dont want to be frustrated af, don't bother trying to get anything here. When I picked up a piece of equipment at this store and the young man who helped me didn't find my purchase order at first glance so he just handed me a box off the shelf and gave me a phone number to call. Well after I deciphered his writing I got the Verizon help line not the activation line. I also found I don't have an activation ID on the receipt, so I have spent hours of my time trying to activate a STB because the store rep didn't want to waste his time doing his job right. I offered to give him an order number when he couldn't find my order and he didn't want to be bothered. I like Fios but this store not so much. read more

I returned three cable boxes at the Severna Park store yesterday at 4:00. A customer service rep asked me to sit down, didn't look at me or say a word for several minutes while he fiddled with his computer, scanned one of the boxes and told me I'll receive an email with my receipt. Its a day later and no email, so I called the store and spoke with Stacy. I told her the situation and with an irritable tone she told me - I'll call you later, I'm with a customer. She didn't ask for my name, account number, or offer a time and it seemed like she just wanted me off of the phone. They never sent me a receipt when they said they would so would should I have any trust that you'd actually call me back. First, it is unsettling they don't provide customers a receipt for returned property at the time they return the property. By sending customers away without a receipt, they place a burden on the customer to have to check-up to make sure they did their job. Second, why bother answering the phone if you don't intend to offer any support? Third, because of two miserable customer service incidents, I now have to waste my time writing you to follow up to do your job. read more

Don't bother with this store. My wife stopped in for help this week and after 3 hours and no resolution, she left the store. The next day she realized that our plan had been changed and we would have had a big surprise when the bill would have been $200 higher. She is very aware of what plan we have and it was changed to another plan that likely would have resulted in a commission for the clerk. Bad business read more

Need to have a separate line for FIOS equipment returns. I was in the store for 30 minutes and I was among 6 people with equipment to turn waiting on 4 folks buying cell phone plans, or buying a car etc (not really sure as it takes about the same amount of time). No new people were called the whole time I was there. How about separating the 5 min appts from the 30 min ones? I know you can mail the equipment back, but you shouldn't offer the service if you can't provide it efficiently. read more

This is not a real Verizon store- this is Victra. I never write reviews and feel compelled to do so. I was lied to and deceived on every point regarding my switch from ATT to Verizon- the rate, the discounts, the bonus cards, waiving the activation fee, everything. I spent 1 hr and 40 min on the phone with Verizon tonight and was basically told I should have gone to a real Verizon store. Their deceit is going to cost me an extra $600 over the next 2 years. Never using this location ever again. I felt so lied to by the workers there when we got our phones from them. I actually thought about leaving Verizon just because of it but the other centers and the customers service on the phone were so helpful in keeping me staying. This place signed us up in a protection plan when we specifically asked that we didn't want it. They also told us that we wouldn't be paying the whole price for the phone due to some event and encouraged us to buy the phone when in fact we ended up getting charged for the whole thing. I felt like they deceived us to signing up for a plan that they did not specify. read more

If I could give this location a 0 rating I would. I had recently taken advantage of a promotion to upgrade my Verizon Router to a Quantum Gateway with Network Extender however the order was duplicated. In light of this I now had to return my Old MI424WRI Router and the duplicate order(Quantum Gateway and Network Extender). I used the FIOS Website to find a location near me that I could use to return all my equipment. I visited the store on 12/18/2016, I had my 10 year old son and two three year old daughter with me. There was two younger ladies and a gentleman on hand and 5 customers waiting. None of the staff said anything to me until I walked up to the Main Counter at which point I was then asked to be seated and wait. After 30-40 minutes of waiting and hearing the employees talking about Pizza for lunch, someones girlfriend and laughing(during which time I had to take my daughter to the bathroom) I was finally seen. The Gentleman on hand took my equipment, printed out a receipt and also emailed me one. My mistake was not checking the detail list on the receipt before leaving the store but as I now had a cranky three year old on my hands I was in a rush. Long story short I had to spend time out of my busy day talking to FIOS Support about a missing router which they have no record of being received. Eventually I was able to get this sorted out after much time and stress but during this process I had call the said store. Upon calling the Store I was told that "We don't make mistakes" and that "I still must still have the equipment at home" and "they could not help me" by the associate. I wish I had read these reviews prior to using that location and I would advise any other Verizon customer not to use this store. I was so annoyed by the whole thing that I made sure to Complain about the location to the Verizon FIOS Rep on the phone, Phillip who actually was helpful in resolving this. read more
