3/14/2021 This fairly new Verizon Service Center is located on Hall Rd. (M-59) in front of Lakeside Mall at the traffic light! I have walked in here a few times before and during COVID-19 for my customer service and cell phone attention. This Verizon "Go To location" is close by and I have stopped in here a few times when I need to replace and install a new Invisible Extreme Impact & Scratch Protection Shield on my Samsung S10e cell phone. The shield is from Zagg, Inc. located in Plainfield, IN. This Verizon is clean, organized. The employees are helpful, polite, and quick to assist Me with my installation request. All the CSR's / technical support employees are highly skilled and friendly. Please note due to COVID-19 a Verizon customer must call their 800 phone number to set up a appointment in advance. They do accept walk-ins now but you will have to wait a while since appointments are recommended for fast efficiency plus one on one personal attention and service! I ordered my new extreme screen protector from Zagg and received it with free shipping in 3 days not the suggested 5-7 days. I talked to a great CSR from Verizon on the west coast in California who was very helpful to offer Me 2 different days and times for my special installation appointment. He also confirmed the information back to Me as well on the phone and within 5 minutes I received a text and email of confirmation. My installation appointment day I chose was 2/24/2021 @ 5:30 pm. This time was perfectly set up for my schedule which was after I finished working. When I arrived on time at this location, I was greeted outside by Jessica a CSR then escorted to sit down at her station. It was set up with precaution health things along with a glass partition for distancing. Jessica completed the task and I was out the door and on my way in less than 30 minutes. Thank you to this Local Verizon store and it's convenient location! *Also a Verizon customer can pay their monthly bill here too. I haven't used the machine inside, since my bill is automatically deducted from my checking account for a $5.00 discount from Verizon too! This store is on Hall road. It has the worst service interaction of any of the Verizon stores in the area. I normally would visit this store because it was the store that used to be located at partridge Creek, where I would always be greeted and then tended to like I was worth the money I paid to Verizon on a monthly basis. Now since the store has moved they could give a crap whether I'm there or not. It also surprises me that I never see the same crew I the store. Maybe it's why I get bad service when I can even get them to acknowledge my presence in the store. read more

I am pleased with the service provided at this location. Every time I visit the store, I learn something new.. Unfortunately, between this location and the Roseville store on Gratiot at 12 Mile Road, I have had to spend hours and hours trying to resolve issues with phones or service. I am dissatisfied with the cell phone service provided by the Verizon Wireless Corporation. In spite of claims that their global roaming plan is available in Canada & Mexico, the only service on their phones in Canada is CDMA. GSM service is blocked by Verizon. CDMA service in Canada is second to GSM, and there are many times I am not able to make a call or send a text in Ontario because there is no signal available. Data capability is completely out of the question. I can get better data service from a string streched between 2 cans! Now I could understand if I was having problems north of the Hudson Bay, but my travels are strictly within 5 miles of 400-series highways and the QEW, arguably the most populated areas in all of Canada. I fail to receive a useful signal in parts of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA - one of the largest cities in North America), and that is totally unacceptable. The positive only about a 10 min wait on a Friday night. The negative. I went into to try to up grade my iPhone. I was told that they should only give me a $40 credit but they would upgrade and give me a $200 credit towards a new phone. But the new phone is $750 so even with a $200 credit I still have to pay $550. I have been with Verizon for 4 years & that does not seem like a deal they were trying to push me into. I was also told that Verizon will start to drain your battery to make you want to upgrade after I told him my only problem was my phone is not staying charged for as long as it should. If Verizon has the power to drain my battery quicker to make me upgrade then why would I stay with them. Salesman was very pushy trying to get me to get a new phone read more

This is your typical wireless store. The lines can be very long or you can walk right in and be helped. The plus to the store is that they have several devices out and plugged in for you to test drive while you wait. I got through several levels of Candy Crush before we were helped last time. In terms of wirelss service, I like Verizon. The prices could be better but we are willing to pay a bit more for better service and selection. This particular location seems to have a lot of turnover, however, everyone I've encountered working here knows their job. read more

I continue to experience problems with Verizon. They want my payment, but when it comes to fixing issues, they are awful. I have to go through long processes to get an issue resolved. I have to go from one person to another just to get help. My current issue they want me to reset my phone back to factory. But this is the 3rd phone I've had that has experienced network issues. The rep had me go through all these steps and when she tried to see if her solutions worked they didn't. I still can not place a call on hold to receive another call. I asked if resetting doesn't work, then what. Her response was another phone. Verizon keeps sending me these refurbished phones that aren't working. They last a few months, then issues arise. As a loyal customer, this is ridiculous for anyone to have to go through. I'm responsible for my 82 yr old dad. For me to not be able to hold a conversation to answer another is beyond frustrating. But I guess this is my fault. Verizon needs to put customers first. No customer should be stressed out dealing with a company they pay for service. read more

Such a bad experience! Associate was simply not helpful nor informative. He showed no interest in understanding our problem, helping us solve it, or selling us on anything even when we were willing to spend $800 on a new phone. He should not have a job there as a very poor representative of any business. Terrible customer service. Condescending employee. Not able to do full service and accomplish or make functional the items they sell. Waited 1/2 hour to be seen. Then the nasty lady treated me as a low life because I was not as techno savvy as her, Everyone does not know how to set up a new phone and that is why they come in for assistance.
