The associates are polite although maybe a bit pushy. But the wait times in this store are ridiculous. There's the greeter - who takes your name. Okay, that's fine. Then just wait - regardless of what you need. There are no cashiers to allow you to just grab and go. Don't bother popping in for a charger or a cover, which are overpriced anyway. The associate, after spending a ridiculous amount of time trying to upswell the customer before me, is finally ready. It's finally my turn. Then off to the greeter he goes to find out who is next - I know it's me because I've been waiting for almost an hour. I continue to wait as they stand there and chat for a while, which seems to be a common occurrence in this store. What could they possibly be discussing? Finally they walk toward me and, after introductions, I show him exactly what I want. He, of course, directs me to a more expensive phone. I advise him that I am purchasing an emergency phone for a 10-year-old. He takes the hint and leaves to retrieve the phone I originally requested. Upon his return he asks for my home phone info. I advise that I do not have a landline and he instantly breaks into his obviously rehearsed monologue about their home phone plan. Again, I point to the reason for my visit - an emergency phone for my son BECAUSE we don't have a landline. Finally off to the checkout counter. I foolishly inquire if the charger is included. Another rehearsed monologue about the amazing bundle he can offer with my 99 cent purchase before he finally admits that a wall charger is included with the phone. All said and done - an hour and a half to add a 99 cent flip- phone to my account. They really need to speed this up. I've purchased vehicles in less time. read more

Went into Verizon today to purchase 2 lines of service and two IPhone 6 plus'.. Walking in you could see the place was pretty packed... Rodney greeted us asked our name and told us the expected wait time.. He was super friendly with my husband , myself and my one year old.. While we waited we asked if they had the phones in stock we wanted.. We were happy to find out they had the 128 gigs available.. About 20 minutes went by and we were greeted by Lea W. She was super happy to be at work., you can just tell by her demeanor that Verizon is a great place to be at.. She answered about a zillion questions from us all while smiling. She gave her personal experience and never seemed pushy or in a rush... The whole process took about an hour. Most of that was error on my husband and myself end.. We didn't have account information on hand from our two current providers... The reason we decided to go with Verizon is because my husband and I have no service with AT&T in our home.. I had friends and family come over with Verizon and they had full or nearly full bars... While husband was searching for information from our old places Lea sparked up server all conversations with me and my baby. She is just the sweetest caring person we've met in a really long time. Lea was super professional while also making us feel like we've been friends for a long time.. This is very important when you are making a huge purchase. Switching over to Verizon was flawless.. Verizon - Woo hoo got iPhone 6 plus 128 gig - Mobile Phones Near Me - Surprise, Arizona

I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for almost 9 years and for over 6 pf them I had 5 phones in my account. I never called to complain and ask for credits but yesterday I talked to customer service about getting some sort of concession since they are paying up to $650 pee line to people to switch. I was offered a discount on an Iphone 6s plus and a trade in promo for my phone. When I went to the store today, I was told that they couldn't honor it and that I would have to call customer service (this is after 45 min of waiting). When I asked them to call them from one of the phones at the counter, I was told they couldn't do it. Long story short, the General Manager (Jason) shrugged his shoulders and said (about the offer) "Well, that can't happen, so..." That's when I left, furious, and called customer service. Two people later I was told by the supervisor that they would honor the first offer. I will go to the store in the Biltmore area tomorrow and will never step foot at this one again. BUYER BEWARE. "free" Verizon piece of crap tablet? NO was told I would get $10 monthly credit for 2 yrs to offset price of "free" tablet, OK. No credit given for tablet it went to a data discount, Verizon changed their plans & refused to honor commitment. OK, I could live with that reluctantly. My DSL line went out & I could not get tablet to work on 3G, spent an hour on the phone with tech support only to be told it was a bad sim card, went to store next day, wile they smiled & swapped the sim card I was told don't you know this tablet ONLY works on 4G??? What? I do not have 4G at my home so it is now a paperweight, piece of crap anyway. I will change plans & phones in the near future & it won't be Verizon, which by the way I have had for over 20 years. read more

While entering the store I explained that my phone had locked up. I was met by a dark haired woman with facial jewelry and told they could not help me. When I asked what were my options she said " You could use it for an expensive paper weight", I was shocked by her comment, At that time a gentleman co-worker asked if he could help and he directed me to the Apple store who did fix my problem. I was angered by Verizon's front door customer service. The solution should be extra customer service education or termination for this employee. When my contract is up I will switch carriers because of this rude behavior. read more

Worst place ever. Horrible customer service! Overheard an employee talking crap about customers, and the lady who "helped" me changed my plan and now it's $20 more than what it was. I was a Verizon customer for years and loved them but we switched to sprint (bad decision but we got stuck in a contract). After our contract was up with sprint we decided to come back to Verizon. This store seemed very friendly when we walked in and although they were busy someone was available to help us right away. We wanted to save some money and have a cheaper bill than with Sprint and walked in knowing what plan we wanted to do. The sales associate saw that my husband worked for Cox and completely mislead us to get us to go with more data thinking it would be cheaper. So now we have a more expensive bill than we had with Sprint and could have just stayed with them for this price and had unlimited data. When I called to talk to someone about this they basically just said sorry the guy mislead you that isn't right and someone from management might call. I never got a call from management nor given anything to make it right. read more

Received a call from Verizon encouraging me to come to the store and redeem my upgrade for a new phone. Once I walked into the store they very rudely argued as to who would have to help me. The little man with the hobbit beard drew the "short straw" and had to help me. He was immediately hostile and rude, as if he had made up his mind not to help me before I spoke. He refused to offer any explanation as to why I could not upgrade and didn't seem to empathize with me at all. After asking for the manager, a woman with the spikey hair, she waddled over to help us. She encouraged me to take my business elsewhere. As I left, I could hear laughter and was astounded at the horrible service. I was the only customer in the store and they seemed to enjoy watching me be bullied by their coworkers. I can only recommend what the manager said; take your business elsewhere! read more

This Verizon store is completely unhelpful. The representatives lie to you in order to make a sale. If you show up 30 minutes before closing time the manager tells you to come back the next day since they can't help you because the store is closing. If you call the store and expect the store employee to get back to you like they say they will, they won't. If you go into the store and want a further explanation the manager says he will look into it and call you the next day. He doesn't follow through with that either. To sum up the store in one word I would have to say it is a ZOO. read more

Just wow thAt's all I can say, I'll be honest and say I came to this store twenty Min till cLose and me myself working in retail I understand the need to want to close and go home but i have never myself shown this kinda rudeness to one of my customers regardless of what time they come in. You would think ok it's almost closing time let me help these people fast so I can get them outta here.... nope not even one hello or greeting whatsoever, and there was only two other customers at the counter, and the kicker is my boyfriend and I were in there to get him a phone for his birthday we literally had already had one picked out and ready to pay for which they would have know if anyone bothered to give us two min of their time, I was so flabbergasted by the rudeness after being in there for five min with no acknowledgment that we just walked out. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH VERIZON!!! They are deceptive and highly unethical in their business practices, as well as misrepresent what they are capable of providing. They charge you for "free accessories" during promotions, then refuse to refund the money back to you, unless it is by means of a credit to your account. They conned us out of almost $500.00 on the very first day of signing contracts with them! They tout having more towers than any other company and are more reliable, due to this. They have proven themselves to be totally inept at resolving connectivity and reception issues. They lie about where and how credits are applied. Then, there is the issue of monthly bills getting higher, significantly higher. The whole experience with Verizon has been an ongoing nightmare for me and my family. We have made numerous calls to customer service and tech support, which was very difficult, due to poor reception and dropped calls in mid-conversation. We cannot retrieve voice messages for days at a time and have auditory issues in the middle of phone calls. Also, when we were told issues could not be resolved by phone, we have made numerous trips into a corporate store, with little more than a temporary resolution to ongoing problems. I could go on and on about the problems we have experienced with them. Suffice to say that Verizon has seriously crippled my business as a Realtor and cost me numerous clients. They have cut off my life line. Their inferior service and ineptitude has cost my family overwhelming stress and frustration, since Day 1 of service with them.
