Very hard to get ahold of someone over the phone on an in store pick up. It's been 3 days, I live on the outskirts of Tracy and if someone in store would've answered the phone to let me know the status of my order it would've saved me time and a headache. And when I go in, I have to wait again for someone to assist me, while one is pretending to be occupied on the computer and "the manager" is busy talking about airplanes with a customer. They said ordering online the system does not see that they don't have on hand inventory for my phone so it was "cancelled." I told her I didn't receive no email that it was cancelled and she said you'll receive an email in 3-4 business days. I told her no you're wrong, you're thinking refund, I know bout that part I just want the email. And I kid you not, it was like talking to a wall, she didn't know what to say she just kept going to her manager and he wouldn't even help. I had to handle it myself, and called Verizon customer care, they said they never cancelled it and she wonders what the store is doing. Smh. After she contacted the credit department, they were finally able to cancel it and sent me the email cancellation. Overall save yourself the hassle; please go to a direct Verizon Store & stay away from a vendor. No one & I mean NO ONE IN THIS STORE assisted me. read more

Bad customer service inside the store from a young lady and she was not being a lady. I was upset at Xfinity and told her the issues and what was going on. I even offered to by new phones to do an upgrade of what I had. She then like Xfinity told me i would be without cell service for another 24 hours and I told her that was unacceptable. Her bad attitude came thru and she tells me "Well it's not my fault you went to Xfinity" she said with such an attitude. Hi I honestly don't have a rating because they do not inform you of your charges your getting. The $79.99 they charge you to setup phone is crap. They do not tell you they are doing it. Then they tell things are free and they aren't. Have receipt to prove that. You call corporate to tell them the issue and they don't respond and don't to anything about the bogus charges. The people in there are nice and pleasant. Just no knowledge of customer service and telling you the charges your getting before you pay. I cancelled my Verizon and will never have their service again. Think twice before you go there and make sure what your getting charged for. And if you can set up your own phone do it. Very unprofessional store Manager Linda. Been a Verizon customer for over 10 years and never had this treatment. Had to physically go there to resolve since manager Linda didn't reach out like I was told she would within 24hr timeframe nor her backup as she should have if on vacation. Don't place orders online or phone through Verizon for pick up at this location. I paid to guarantee the phone and they sold it before I showed up. They were unable to accommodate with their sister location which had the availability. Poor customer service- avoid this location and preferably go to a Verizon store directly. Don't waste your time coming to this retailer. I have never gone through much inconvenience dealing with the people at this store and making sure I got what was promised. Their system was down and they "promised" my trade in ($700!?) would be taken care of. I had to constantly follow up and Linda who was the lead refused to connect me to her district manager after she said she couldn't provide any confirmation or anything in writing they took my phone. After I explained to her that she was doing nothing to help me, she realized it was her job to ensure we got what was sold to us. After that fiasco, which was two months, we never got a rebate for the second line we opened. Again, she couldn't help and told us to call another number. My husband and I have been to Verizon off Naglee Rd serveral times including today. Last year we bought two phones. This year, we came in to because my husband's LG Flip phone had an issue with the Yahoo email login password. In addition, we are looking into upgrading my husband's phone. Every time we are there we've received excellent service from the gentleman by the name of Kyoji. Kyoji was able to resolve the issue with my husband's Yahool email password. He also provided information on the different phones that my husband is interested in upgrading to. And also, we are also looking into upgrading my daughter's Samsung cell phone to Samsung 10e. I really wanted to like this place after the lady that helped me was able to get me one of the very first couple of iPhones that came out at the time. While I was there, I was looking at phones and she told me to come back in 2 weeks as that is when the new one was going to come out. I place my order and I would come back in 2 weeks. Fast forward 2 weeks, and my phone has arrived. All well and dandy right? Yes and no. As I was checking out, the sales lady proceeded to try and sell me things that I didn't need. She told me that I qualified for a free apple watch cover and free charging cord extender. The only thing I paid money for, was the new phone itself and the phone case that I picked out. Or so I thought. When I got home, I looked on the receipt and noticed that she charged me for the charging adapter and the apple watch cover (which I didn't need any of those things). In the next billing cycle, I noticed that there was an increase in my bill by $10. I called Verizon and I told them about this and they told me that some type of my insurance was added to my phone, WHICH I DID NOT ASK FOR. I told Verizon to take it off my account and my bill was back to normal the following month. Lets just say that I will NOT be back to this place as they will sell you extra stuff you don't need and put extra stuff on your bill you aren't even aware of! read more

I would love to give 5 stars to Nate, and 4 stars to Verizon shop overall. Nate has been super helpful in giving all the clarifications to any questions, with huge details which every customer needs to know. Nate thinks well about possible misinterpretations of the rules and clarifies them very well. This way, customers are made well aware of their decisions resulting in less likelihood of regret. While me and my wife appreciate Nate 100%, the only concern I had is with the fact that when my wife asked a follow up question to someone else, the answer came a bit rude like "Why should we..." instead of just clarifying it well. I felt a little dissatisfied by that answer. But overall, Nate has made the store look a lot better. read more

I switched to Verizon from another cell phone carrier, that was not the problem, the problem was the cell phone they sent me had a broken display... OK fine.. I switched services and ordered a cell phone on-line because I didn't want to deal with high pressure sales people trying to sell me all of the "options". Now I have to go into a store and deal with a sales person to exchange the phone. Could be an OK experience right? WRONG, I go in and the first thing the sales person does is chastise me for doing business on-line rather than coming into the store. Next she proceeds to try to sell me all the special plans and goodies I declined while on the website, and any little gizmos she can think of from the shelves. I finally got a new phone and got out of there but I think if I have to do that again I'll just switch carriers on-line again. I hate pushy sales people. read more

So let me start by saying I own a small business In Tracy.so I went into this store because I had broken My phone and I just wanted to buy out the phone I had Because I was not due for an up grade. I was told over and over again that I could not do that which made No sense to me at all. I was told that I would have to purchase another line for $45 a month for the next 2 years. Beware of the salespeople adding on accessories and insurance without your permission. Was told after signing and paying that "all phones come with insurance automatically " (which on my father in law's flip phone was $12 a month. For a flip phone!!) Save yourself the trouble by going to a legitimate Verizon retailer without the sketchy business practices like this. I've worked at a cell phone retailer for 5+ years and would never add something to a customers bill without their permission. The sales person also acted like they were hooking us up with a coupon that gave us a free accessory but actually a hidden fee made it so we really payed for it after all. I upgraded my phone in June. I had a down payment of 167.00 and I gave him 180.00... and he gave me change. It was near closing time and he had another customer behind me, so we were rushing through everything. The sales guy packed all the paperwork, accessories and new phone in a Verizon bag And I quickly got out of his store. I had noticed when I signed into my account that the down payment I paid was never applied to my account. I quickly when to grab my paperwork and realized I never received a receipt for the cash in paid. When I signed into find my Documents there was a signed receipt by me stating I financed the entire amount! He told me it was a user agreement and as I felt super rushed I didn't read it though as I've been with Verizon for over 15 years. So don't be like me, don't let them make you feel rushed. A week ago Sunday, I went into this Verizon Wireless Store in Tracy as I needed some assistance with my Droid Maxx, (since I am not technical savvy.) This young man named, Jessie was most helpful. I especially liked the way he attended to my questions regarding my cell phone, without making me feel silly. In the past I have been to the Manteca Verizon and the one in the Modesto Mall; and I had received the worst service ever. I almost switched my cell phone provider; after having been a customer of Verizon for many years, prior to moving to this area. Lucky for me, that I came across this Verizon Wireless Store in Tracy. I have been most impressed with the service received at this store, that I even decided to purchase a Galaxy Tablet at my most recent visit to this store, because I know that if I ever needed any assistance, all I have to do is stop by and ask any of the associates at this Tracy location. I was so grateful in all the assistance I had received from Jessie and the people at this store, that I went to Starbucks down the street and bought them all drinks. Thank you very much!! Can they do negative stars.. Their manager was great! Greeting us, and helped us right away. He had to leave for a family thing and left us in the incapable hands of his associate Jessie F. He was training a new girl (I feel sorry for her if Jessie is her trainer). We went in to switch smart phones for my daughter. He could not complete the task. We were there for 2 1/2 hours. Jessie remained calm, although spoke inappropriately to customers waiting. The store experience was annoying but I could forgive and forget, just not go back.. But why I come to YELP, is once I got home, I found out my phone number (which was never in question at the store) was disconnected from my account and not working.. It took Verizon corp at least an hour to connect me back up. I was without a phone for 3 hours!! I have been in Customer Service for nearly 10 years, and this is by far the worst. I will never step foot in that store again. And suggest you do the same, Take the time and go to Stockton or Livermore to the Corporate Stores. read more

We get to this location to be greeted by a male rep who asked how he could help. We explained the situation and he said we can't help you with that since this store is not a 4g wireless store. We informed of the information we were given on the phone, we asked to speak with a supervisor since we didn't understand why the set back. His response!!
