Been waiting for 27 minutes. Other customers behind me have been "signed in" and helped before me. I'm on crutches and it's about 80 degrees in here for sure. Manager said he can't tell us because he hasn't sold a phone in 4 years. Hmmm. I just need help with my plan. Didn't know that was "below management pay" This is a small store understaffed. Must not be helped because I'm a business customer ? And regular customers come first ? Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that. Anyways finally got serviced and the business rep helped me. Found out that the other (non corporate) store messed my whole plan up. He helped me best he could and even sold me a phone. Wish he could have taken these stupid jet packs off. Well. I was very disappointed with my last visit here. I had trouble getting my phone out of SOS mode. The workers who worked at the store did not seem concerned about my problem. They worked on my phone for about five minutes. In the past, they would've called for the manager to help out. I guess the store doesn't care about customers anymore. No internet since Monday. I need customer service and support help. I am now on my 6th phone call and have done chats since Monday. They are overseas people who don't understand what we are walking about. I finally called your store and they said they can't help and these people have to. Idk what to do besides change my family to ATT and not Verizon. I can't use my computer, my internet on my phone or watch any streaming device. I asked if they could have someone come out and look at it, they said no. I have done everything troubleshoot. How do i get ahold of a supervisor. I went there after having a difficult experience trying to purchase a new iPhone through the Verizon website over the last two days. I opened the interaction by telling the rep that I knew exactly what I wanted and didn't need any plan upgrades or purchase add-ons and that I just wanted to buy the phone and go. She went into the back and came back out and told me that she had the paperwork for the plan and purchase I wanted, plus two other purchase scenarios that she thought would be better for me, such as adding a new line when I didn't need one and more data which I didn't need. I again reiterated that I didn't want anything except the base purchase of the phone. She then acted like that's what she was giving me and put the signature screen in front of me for the new phone purchase and I noticed I'd opted into a protection plan we never discussed ($204 per year recurring). I asked her why she opted me into something we didn't talk about and that her continuing to push extra things beyond what I'd asked her was making for a bad experience. At this point, another worker Emilian (Emilia?) who was working with a customer nearby and later identified herself as a store manager, loudly asked what the problem was, and I said the salesperson opted me into the protection we didn't talk about. She (loudly, in front of the other customers) said to the salesperson that it wasn't about her and I must "just be having a bad day". I told her that my issue was stuff being snuck onto my bill that was never discussed and that whether I'd already been having a poor experience with Verizon didn't have anything to do with this. While we're on the subject it is indeed Verizon that is taking my money so Emilia's attempt to distance the in-store team from the online team doesn't really fly. You're all Verizon. But I digress. She replied "I'm sure you say that all the time to everyone" which didn't really make much sense. It was really weird having this person inject herself into the conversation and try to make things more uncomfortable for pretty much everyone in the store, but especially me. I'm pretty sure that's the opposite of what Verizon would want a store manager to do. At that point, I decided to stop responding to the escalation because I just wanted to buy my phone and go home. I did ask for her name and position before I left so I could reference it in this review. I doubt Verizon teaches their employees to opt customers into additional purchases that were never discussed, and I doubt they train their managers to escalate and attempt to publicly shame customers who question this approach. I'm just glad I got my phone and don't have to go back there again. read more

Don't go to this Verizon unless you want to get insurance and miscellaneous "protection" placed on all of your devices after saying no. Terreon or whatever his name was, scammed us and we even tipped him $20 to help my dad set his phone up. Let me tell you about their level of service at this location on 12 mile in Warren. Vinny helped us out and explained everything to get us in the best place on Saturday. We switched from Sprint/T mobile. One of our numbers did not port over successfully so we had to go back on Sunday. Sprint just wasn't getting us what we needed to release the number. We were in the store on the phone for 2 hrs with Verizon support and Sprint. Finally Sprint listened to what the issue was and we were able to get it done. Emmillia the manager ( hope I spelled her name right ) was so great. There are no words to describe her professionalism, care, compassion and her can do attitude. It really made the best of a bad situation. She was able to help and support me while still helping other customers. It was so busy during all of this. This team clearly follows the example of a great leader. It is so encouraging that a person like this has such a great work ethic in todays "not my problem" society. Just got home after spending 35 minutes at the Verizon store. I have severe complex PTSD from narcissistic abuse. I am trying to recover. I called the store 3 days ago to agree on a business transaction to accommodate my disability because I can't function when I go some where and they throw "surprise" fees at me after being a 25 year customer. I did MY part. Verizon does NOT work with people disabilities as she didn't have a clue about my phone conversation from 3 days ago and I called the 12 and Mound Store. She kept deflecting and using manipulation sales tactics that are POISON to a traumatized brain. At the end she said "Sorry you feel that way" when I said this isn't what I discussed on the phone. I explained that this is the most passive aggressive apology and isn't an apology at all, it's psychologically toxic and many don't know it who are not traumatized. Thank Mekelsie read more

Could not have had a worse experience at a store. When I say these representatives don't give an absolute shit about you, I've received better service at a McDonald's. First off, I purchased the Verizon mobile and internet over the phone, came into this Warren location that was listed for pick up. As I'm sitting in the store remaining patient with the representative, Jazz, she grabs my order, then takes my phone, takes out my xfinity SIM card, says I don't need it anymore and smashes it. Then, she installs the Verizon SIM card and my phone won't activate. She can't figure out why, so she sends me home with my non working phone and tells me to come back the next day and she'll get a new application to get it fixed. Im also a remote worker and a grad student at Wayne state, who needed my cell phone for dual verification for multiple logins today, which basically cost me an entire day of work. Then I come into the store the next day and explain what their representative did yesterday to the new representative Emmilia, emmilia calls Verizon and says I need to call xfinity to get the transfer pin that I apparently need, so now I have to call xfinity off my work laptop on their Wi-Fi because again, I have no working cell phone because of them. Then, it turns out I have to drive all the way to an xfinity store (in the middle of massive amounts of traffic since multiple roads in Warren are being reconstructed) to get a new SIM card in person because it's the only way I can get a transfer pin now. So I go and do that and come back and after all of that, I finally broke my cool and demanded for a discount since their representative was the one who smashed my SIM card and Emmilia said she couldn't do anything for me. On top of that, the manager, Carlos, did not say a single word to me, people would just go in the back room and laugh. I'm literally a college student and I work about 60 hours a week paying my way through and these people literally cost me an entire work day and not a single apology. I was met with utter rudeness and I'm appalled that Verizon can even justify their prices when they're hiring people with 0% customer service skills. read more

Horribly rude customer service. I had an easy fix to one of the settings on my phone. The guy was rude to me upon check-in and told me it would be over an hour wait. I explained that I needed help with a very simple problem and that Verizon had fixed it within 5 minutes before. The guy was rude and said it's an hour wait no matter what. I've been a Verizon customer since 2000 and have never been treated as rude as I have at this location. I left, went to the Roseville location, and they fixed the setting on my phone in 3 minutes. read more

After reading everyone's reviews I can't say that I'm surprised. I went to a Verizon wireless store a couple weeks ago and had a situation where my in-store pick up was not ready. Kevin, Jessica, and Jillian, were all very rude to me in expressing how the in-store pick up was not ready. One 800 Verizon wireless called and Jessica got rude with the one 800 Verizon wireless store rep. After not being able to receive my in-store pick up I went home. The following day I revived yet another email letting me know that my order was ready at the store. Needless to say I had the same problem. Why am I getting ready emails if its not ready? No one had answers. Called Verizon again and they confirmed that the order is ready and that store just simply is not releasing it. Why? IDK maybe somebody wanted the last iPhone for themselves. Anyway I stood around in the store for about 2 hours until I asked to see the store reps Verizon tablet. After getting the tablet i scrolled to a section labeled "in-store pick up". I scrolled down that column and found my name and order and of course it read "ready". After I had pointed that out to the rep, Brian. He then went in the back where they keep the phones and never returned. That's when, Kevin the manager came out and said there is no phone I can't make one magically appear. At that moment I left and called in about that store. The worst experience ever. Resolution: Everyone needs to be retrained. New management. read more

I cannot believe I spent the entire day dealing with this Verizon store or on the phone with Verizon. First of all I arrived at 10 am when they opened planning on upgrading my daughters phone for her 21st birthday and ended up waiting 2 hours there only to be told they would call me when the phone, which they had in stock, could be picked up because of an issue they had when they placed the phone order online on my phone to get a discount. The steps this location told me to do caused so many issues with my purchase which should have only taken 10 minutes per my sales rep. After leaving I waited about an hour and then called Verizon myself to see what the hold up was. I am still confused on what exactly happened to prevent us from getting the phone. I went back to the store because we never heard back from anyone only to be told we had to sign in again and wait to be helped. I was very upset and stated that not only had I paid off the old phone and the taxes on the new one I was again leaving without a phone. The rep then said that "we have not been just sitting around all day & that they were working on my order". I ended up leaving again without my new phone only to be told they can have Verizon call me to figure out the issue instead of the rep handling it instead. At this point it is now 3 pm. After I handled everything myself on the phone with Verizon for almost 2 hours, I went back to Verizon to pick up the phone which at this time was about 6 pm and they had the phone in a bag with the receipt ready to pretty much give to us and shove us out the door. I still had my trade in to do which the rep was not really happy about because he just wanted us to leave. I was on the phone with Verizon as they set up a call back at 6 pm to make sure I received my phone and she spoke to the rep while we activated the new phone and did the trade in. The rep was also very rude to the rep on the phone at Verizon. Customer service was horrible. The store temperature had to be set between 80-90 degrees. Absolutely horrible experience! I could not have had a better experience. 2 weeks ago we decided to buy new phones and change from Metro PCS. Our saleman/technician ALERIC could not have been nicer, more informed and helpful. We had done some research but he was able to answer a few questions that we had. He handled the entire data transfer on all the phones, helped us set up everything. We were there for 2 hours, but was worth it. This store had all 3 phones in stock that we wanted as well. He knew a lot about the service, the phones, the technology and features. Since I was there for so long, I took notice of other interactions with employees and customers. The other employees seemed equally as qualified, and also took much time with their customers. The place gets busy. Suggest you go early when they open. read more

Rude isn't even the word to describe how badly every single one of them treat their customers. I came to this location one year ago on 11/11/19 to upgrade my phone. Bradley helped me. I came in knowing exactly what phone I wanted because there was a promo going on for $200 off the iPhone XS. He informed me the promo was only applicable if I did monthly payments rather than paying for my device in full that day, like I had planned to do. So I went with the monthly payments to ensure I got the $200 off. He said the discount appears as a monthly credit on the bill & it takes a couple months & then I'd start seeing the credits. Well, here we are a year later and still no credit has been applied to my bills. My receipt from that day doesn't note anything about the promo. That's my fault for not ensuring it was detailed on my paperwork before I left. However, I was eager to leave after having to repeatedly turn down upsell attempts when I made it clear I came for one purpose & knew exactly what I wanted. read more

Had a terrible experience at the store on Big Beaver with a very pushy salesman who tried selling us a plan with more than what we wanted or needed and quoted ridiculous prices in what we felt was a ploy to get us to choose the option we didn't want. Left that store and went directly to this location and was immediately greeted by a salesperson who told us it would be a few minutes. Worked with Ashley H who, within an hour, got done what the boys at the Big Beaver store couldn't get done and I walked out with exactly what I wanted, a realistic quote, a new phone and a ton of new accessories (which I usually don't get). No hard upsell. She's a rockstar and should spend a day training the Big Beaver store how to do it right! Thank you! read more

I went in for some support (not to buy an accessory or phone plan ) the guy , who had to be called over after holding up the counter,place was not busy, once he knew I was in need of help and not buying he quickly told me what was going on was a common problem and we ( NEEDED A NEW PHONE) he wouldn't even make eye contact. I have had good service here and bad service here. Aleric helped me with the purchase of my phone. I returned because I had a problem with it, and a different helper assisted me. This new Verizon sales rep sold me an item for my car that I wasn't certain I wanted. (High pressure salesman). Had to do with a system for my car. My car is a 2006, and it would not accept the programming of this new system. The car started to malfunction electrically. Problems with the engine starting, the stereo, you name it. I took the car to the dealership for repair, and they told me that it had to do with the security phone system that Verizon installed. The dealership got my car running smoothly and I returned the Verizon's car system to them. Then there were problems with the return of the item. Verizon wanted to charge me for returning it early and not credit my money back. My suggestion to all you readers is: if your gut tells you it's wrong, don't let any salesman convince you that it'll work, not even if it appears it will save you money. My little sister wanted to ask a simple question about switching her old phone to a different Verizon phone. We weren't asking them to do the actual action right then, we wanted to know what actions needed to be done if we wanted to switch her phone. Did not even let her finish her sentence and told her that they can't do it bc my father isn't present. BUT we weren't asking them to switch the phone we wanted to know if it was possible to do so and if we needed a new sims card or not. But all they did was say we can't do anything and so we called me father and even though my dad gave them approval they said he needed to be present or else they would get fired. But what I don't understand is that they couldn't answer the question? Would they get fired if they answered it? Such terrible staff in general. All of them were adding their own commentary, and saying we don't understand and saying "just tell them no" and giving the worst attitudes.
