First timer to this retail store on Monday, March 30, 2026. Initially after signing in and waiting for 20 minutes, we were skipped over in line when nobody called our name! The first representative didn't acknowledge us when we were sitting inside the store and put us back on the waiting list after we told him we didn't hear our name being called at all. Then after a few minutes, a different Customer Service Rep, named Edward, assisted us. He clearly explained all of the details needed to make a purchase and also the changes for our current Data Plan. In addition to that, clarified the changes for the monthly charges if we were to upgrade to a new phone and also use the promotion to trade in the old phone for a new line, but be able to keep the phone for a discounted monthly fee. Edward and Thet both assisted our shopping experience at the Verizon store in Federal Way, VA. They made it a pleasant experience to communicate with us and outline all of the information needed to make a new Smartphone purchase inside the store. They were knowledgeable and helped us with the best options in order to make our choices easier to upgrade. With their excellent customer service, it made us feel more comfortable and feel at ease reviewing the details of the purchase. I've been a Verizon customer for years and I barely ever go into their actual stores but when I do, this is the one I go to. Recently with the new IOS updates, my iPhone kept sending messages about my SIM card not working. After a day of frustration, I went into the store to seek some help. My wife and I went in to switch our lines from AT&T to Verizon, not realizing how much trouble that AT&T was going to give us because of account transfer. The representative who helped us...Quoan (I realize I mispelled your name my friend, I apologize), was beyond patient whilst AT&T gave us a hard time, plus he helped us with all the stuff we needed to make sure the transfer was successful and correct. Very helpful staff they have here. They are very knowledgeable and quick with a smile. The only thing that can be tricky here are the wait times to deal with the aforementioned staff. I've been in twice, one time waited almost 30 minutes, and the next was able to be helped right away. So far, this is the best Verizon store I've been to. They really take care of their customers and want people to be happy when they leave. I've been to other Verizon stores where they make you wait in line forever , they don't care if you have other things to do that day, etc. but that's not the case with this store. My boyfriend and I went in there yesterday after already purchasing new iPhones recently. We came to this Verizon store to look at AirPods and Apple Watches because we were shopping in the area. They closed at 7, but they still put our name on the list and helped us even after they closed. If you ever are in the area, go to this Verizon store and ask for Quang. Glad to have gone to this location!! Amazing amazing staff! MICHAEL and CARLTON went over and beyond on helping us figure out the monthly cost on our new lines. They were both very informative and explained everything from monthly bills to discounts to accessory bundles and etc. They made sure all our questions were answered and that we understood how the billing cycle works. They made sure we get the best deal. All staff in this location seem to know what good customer service means. Right when you open the door, you get greeted and everyone has a smile on their face. Very welcoming! Sets you in a good mood. Store is spacious and clean. Also, fully staffed. I believe that this store has a different management now. After reading all the negative reviews, I honestly think that there has been a big improvement. Sent my daughter for a simple service issue requiring a new SIM card. The branch was understaffed and unfortunately the only person was not capable of politely handling the customers in the store. He refused to help or give service and sent her away even though they were open for another 1.5 hours. Nit the usual service we get from Verizon. Sales people are only there to sell never say everything about products when selling them had a watch on an account for two months paying for it monthly only for them to find out that your not aloud to have it on an account monthly with out an additional 10$ cellular service. So was given the option to add the 10$ or pay out the watch because they waited passed the 30 days of eligibility to return the watch. Would not recommend this Verizon only there to get a sell. read more

When I walked in and went up to the counter an employee on the sales floor told us she could help us. Two minutes later when she was done with someone else she took our information and said a sales associate would be with us. Meanwhile 3 other employees did nothing. Literally stood around and did nothing. We were just picking up a phone we ordered online, I can't imagine its that complicated. It appeared to me that the army of idle Verizon employees are there to answer questions and only one person can work the computer. I'm glad I'm here to keep my girlfriend company and my T-Mobile store doesn't treat me like this. As I stand here writing this I have waited 20 minutes. This is one of the better Verizon's - they seem to try and get to you as fast as possible and most of the time - they are patient and answer questions. We learned to try and go - off hours - since we have waited over 45 minutes during a busy Sunday afternoon. I have also found if you get a IPhone - you are better going to the IPhone store since Verizon really doesn't care about their products they handle any more. I had the IPhone and went back 4 times saying it is not as loud as others but they "checked it" and said it was OK. Finally - We went to the IPhone store - they looked at it and said one of the speakers is not hooked up - factory default - unfortunately we had it too long and they could not do anything. I went in there ready to buy a replacement phone, already knowing what I was going to TRY and purchase. The greeter took my name and said there's four people in front of me and I have to wait. Fifteen minutes later my name did not move up this list. I don't understand why I have to wait behind people signing up for new service. Let's just say we go to this store so we are consistent. They have new people all the time who aren't consistent so it's hard for them to keep up with their own lies. When you call them out on it they decide to talk over you and be dismissive. I'm sure they have huge turnover because of their structure so I blame this on Verizon but I must say I will do all warranty, new phone and line upgrade work over the phone in the future as this store is about meeting their goals and upselling you! They have no idea how to communicate with customers. HORRIBLE. All I needed was to activate a phone. It looked like the girl (who was trying to activate it) was inexperienced. I was fine with that and patiently waited. But another employee (who was actually helping another customer) had jumped in (without anybody asking him for any help). He talked with me like I owed him something. His tone was like "dude, you donnow what yon wanna do... get out of here... don't wast our time". Which I did. Written by my Fiance: We went to the Federal Way location on Thursday, 4/24/14 because our Samsung Galaxy S3's were having a lot of problems since the Android 4.3 update in December (like thousands of other people are experiencing). Mine just got to the point I couldn't use my phone anymore. My prox sensor stopped working, the phone didn't rotate properly when taking pictures in a text message, but most of all the battery life became non-existent. Thursday morning I unplugged it with a full charge and by 10:30am it was at 9%. I plugged it back up and 15 minutes later, on the charger, it was at 3%! I troubleshooted it and did factory resets, which would fix it temporally but always end up getting worse again. I had the battery checked and it wasn't the problem. Anyway, the first rep didn't seem to care too much about addressing those issues or fixing the phones we had so we asked about upgrading using the new Edge program since I knew we weren't eligible for a regular upgrade. We knew what phones we wanted, she went and checked if they had them in stock and told us it'd be a few minutes and she'd meet us over at the far counter. 10 minutes later she presented 2 baskets, 1 for each of our phones with cases. Mine had a nice pink one. My fiancee's had a "blinged out" case that only Paris Hilton would rock. She tried to sell her that one. We nicely declined (because we wanted to buy the ones we wanted for half the price elsewhere, but didn't say that) and the rep said, "y'all are crazy". Now, I've been in sales for 9 years and am a sales manager (not to mention I worked 2 years in an independently owned VZW store), and if I heard one of my guys say that to a customer as their sales pitch, I would have fired them on the spot. Insulting a customer to get a sale is ridiculous! Didn't even try to tell me why I should consider one or what might happen if I don't have one, nothing! Just...I'm stupid if I don't buy it. No sales skill whatsoever! Then, my fiancee said she didn't expect to get a phone today and didn't back up her pictures, so she was going to upload them to her Google Drive and to go ahead and activate mine while she did that. The rep finished mine and the pictures still weren't done uploading. The rep went ahead and activated the other phone, stopping the upload midprocess...knowing we were doing it. There were 41 pictures and 5 videos, all of our 8 month old doing things like crawling for the first time and eating baby food for the first time. Priceless to us. There were 3 pictures and 1 video left when she cut off the phone. She was so impatient she couldn't wait literally 2 or 3 more minutes for us to get our irreplaceable pictures off her phone. It was just a customer experiencelessness experience and I will not be going back to a store to do my business again. Kaitlyn should really consider a new line of work or spending some time in some real sales training and customer training courses. I was very upset by how we were treated. Just another commission in and out and on to the next. I have people tell me every now and again they like dealing with me the best where I work and it makes my day. Kaitlyn, I would rather buy a phone from anyone else next time. If I wasn't so frustrated by my phone problems already, I would have walked out on you. read more

This is the worst and slowest Verizon store I have ever been to. The store is so under staffed. They charge enough for service but they can't seem to have enough staff. Nick is a complete passive aggressive jack ass who was argumentative and unhelpful but the store manager Mara is awesome and she was able to get my problem resolved. read more

We went into the store to cancel our service becaue we had been treated so poorly on the phone with their 1-800 folks. Jonathan was the best, he tried everything he could to fix our one bad phone, but actually couldn't. He looked at our bill, tried to find how we could save money and wasn't pushy. They (Verizon) keep telling me this is the place I went to as I honestly do not recall. I had to have my phone replaced because of a red line down the screen. When I got my so-called new phone (refurbished) I did not want to mess anything up or lose anything while doing errands with a friend we stopped at the first Verizon place we seen and asked if they can transfer all my stuff from the defective phone to the new refurbished one (was made to believe I would get a NEW one) Cocky young man in his early 20's Oh easy fix he said and as he was removing the SD/Sim card my original phone slipped out of his hands (as one who has a Samsung 7Edge) would know they are slippery little suckers...I take care of my expensive purchases and this is one of them, never put in my purse had its own little pocket away from anything that would scratch it.. Even had a cover with a ring so that it don't go anywhere. Anyway, down it went and landed on a corner and "CRACK" not a big crack all over the screen but across the top part of the logo and hairline crack down the side edge. I grabbed if and said a few choice words and stormed out of the location...Did the transferring myself...I wrote to the warranty and explained what happened and asked if they could please contact me for any questions they never did and BAM I am slapped with $299 for the crack and the red line (missing pixels) never became an issue then as that should have been covered 100% as the phone was still under warranty. Now they want information of what this knumb-nuts names is (and I honestly do not recall) I don't even recall the location we ended up in.. As I have told them over and over if I would have broken my own phone I have no problem whatsoever having filed a claim and paying the $199 for a replacement phone...But I am being made to pay $299 for a phone that had a malfunction on the screen and a Verizon dumbass with butter fingers that broke my phone and so now they are saying that having dropped the phone caused the red line.. Now that is one way to get easy money from a customer that has never ever been late on payments, and always paid way before the bill came out...I love the Samsung 7Edge but damn it I should not pay for something I did not do.... Now they will not make it right and here I am with a used phone they sent me that has a scuff tiny mark on the screen and gets HOT...my original phone never got hot and I was watching movies on it all the time... This one I can't even watch 15 minutes when it starts to feel HOT...and I only get two tiny bars vs my original phone I always had no less then 4... No wonder people think that Verizon Wireless are thieves...never had problems with Metro and I controlled how much I wanted to pay per month...Wish they had more options on phones....
