Oh my gosh! I had an appointment at 11:30 but when I walked in this lovely lady named Gabby said she's happy to help me right away. She was absolutely fantastic! She helped me with my cable bill and help figure out what I really needed and didn't need. Then I upgraded my very very old iPad to a new one got a super great price and she transferred everything over for me. I am going back in a couple of weeks to up grade my phone with Gabby. Everybody in the store was extremely friendly. If you don't want to wait, my advice is to make an appointment. read more

Service Requested - We went to buy a new phone and had the data moved from the old phone to the new one. Although it took longer than usual to no fault of their own. Customer service was great, professional, and friendly. Quality - they have multiple merchandise and they are great. Value - This brand is not top of the line, but they have great variety and offers that all walks of life can afford. I was impressed with the pre-paid or pay as you go deals for people that are down their luck with bad credit or no credit at all. The free mobile that they offered ended up costing $86 over the life over a year. Not terrible, but it was supposed to be free Then when I call they don't talk to you until you pay some kind of fee to disconnect your cable you don't have a connection fee but you have a disconnection fee which is $40 and then another $38 in Phone and cable fees even though I canceled it .... Then when I went up to the customer service rep and ask them why I haven't been helped. Why are people being helped? I'm shocked to see such low rating for this store. We arrived to upgrade our internet and get a router. We signed in and was told the wait would be about 30 minutes. We waited in their comfy seating area and watched Harry Potter that was playing while we waited. I'm nosey so I was listening in on how they were treating customers. They had 6 customer service folks working and they all sounded very knowledgeable and friendly. We didn't even wait the full 30 minutes. The nice guy we got assigned to helped us and got us in and out fast. I would recommend this location for customer service help. We have been here multiple times to get new remotes. We walk in and ask for a new remote, they look up our account and BOOM they hand us a remote. We will keep coming here if anything else is needed for our service. I highly recommend giving these guys a chance. Also, this location was super clean and lots of parking. read more

One would think four time's a charm, but it's not true. Comcast/Xfinity (Federal Way) has got to be one of the worst businesses to deal with. First stop was to return equipment from our old address, disconnect service and ascertain that our new address was on record in our account. Person excepting equipment said there'd be no problems with the return and that he would check our account for changes. Second stop, same outlet, we picked up a cable box & remote for an older TV. Salesman said it was super simple to hook up. Could not get our set up to work even following directions. Called 1-800# and spoke with Janey (sp?). She informed us that the box given us was not in inventory so she couldn't help set up the TV. We would have to return the equipment and pick up another. Third trip to Federal Way Comcast/Xfinity. Salesman gives us yet another cable box & remote only this time the kit includes an HDMI cable (the first kit didn't). Returned home and attempted to hook up the TV to no avail. Call 1-800# again, this time speaking with Don. After nearly an hour of talking back and forth and after numerous attempts to fix the problem electronically, failure once again. Then Don suggested & set up a visit from a technician to come to our place for hands-in fix. Note: at our third visit to the Federal Way Comcast/Xfinity, the salesman checked our records and said we still had two accounts open. I explained to him we just returned equipment, to include a home security system, and were told everything was OK. Then the same salesman mutters under his breath that there's going to be a big penalty for disconnecting our home security system. When I asked him to clarify, he stated we may be looking at a $200 penalty. I explained to him we could no longer afford to pay the exorbitant fees for all the services we had as the wife had been laid off from work and I was retired & on a fixed income. He stated I would have to address the issue once I receive the bill. After years of continuous service with Comcast/Xfinity we are being punished financially for lessening our subscription, but still wanting to continue service. Wonder if there's another internet provider out there that can provide real customer service while not charging an arm and a leg. read more

Visit this store at your own financial peril (IMHO). I say that cuz I went to the Federal Way Xfinity Store on 2/6/24 to get a new set top box and register my new Internet modem. The agent was friendly, did what was needed, and suggested that my family move our Verizon service to Xfinity mobile, claiming we could save lots of $$$. We discussed the matter, I gave him some information, he sent a text message and TOLD me I needed to click the link in the message so he could get some additional information. The link does NOT provide any sort of warning that selecting it will incur activation fees and or that clicking the link constitutes approval to move our phone service. Prior to clicking the link, I told the agent the Verizon account was in my wife's name and that she and I would need to discuss the matter before moving the accounts over. He stated - verbally committed in fact - he would NOT move the accounts over until 2:00 pm on 2/7/24. I called 2x the morning of 2/7/24 morning and left voicemails stating that we decided NOT to move from Verizon to Xfinity... Voicemails were left cuz the sales agent didn't answer his phone, nor did he call me back to confirm that our numbers weren't moved. I went to the store to get the confirmation and what I got was the run around, along with being told I had to go to Verizon to move my numbers back to Verizon. Went to Verizon and they told me the numbers were never ported to Xfinity so all was good... except the Xfinity store people could and should have just told me that at the Xfinity store BEFORE directing me to the Verizon store!!!! Very typical bulls__t for Xfinity customer service. Went back to Xfinity to ensure they cancelled my mobility phone service. Turns out they had NOT cancel the 5 phone lines (guessing so they could bill me for 1 month of service for 5 lines ???) so I directed them do that and I waited at the store to get verbal confirmation in front of other witnesses and store staff in case removal of the activation fees becomes a legal issue. I say that because the female "manager" smugly informed me the lines were cancelled but that I will have to pay a $10 activation fee for each of the 5 lines that were never used by the phone numbers that were never ported over. I informed her I will not pay the fees because I got zero use out of the service, did NOT sign anything agreeing to an activation charge, and was NOT told by the agent that clicking the link he TOLD me to click constitutes agreement to activation charges. I would NOT have clicked ANYTHING cuz I told him up front that I needed to discuss the move with my wife. So... Due your own due diligence before going into this store for anything besides getting and returning a TV set top box!! read more

Lower your expectations of getting help with Xfinity related problems at the Federal Way store. Jennifer, an agent there, is woefully uninformed about Xfinity products, cavalier about helping with issues with the company security system, WIFI Hotspots and telephone connectivity. Her default response: "It's not my job. It's technical and I don't do technical." She projects an attitude of weary indifference. I have dealt with her before and my visit today brought back her misguided advice in a previous visit that resulted in my computer being overtaken by scammers who charged my $199 for "repair" after i called a number she gave me. Spent much time and got my bill down over $40, I called today cuz I cannot return the equipment as discussed as soon as I said, now less than than 5 days it went up $10, cuz I did not sign up do auto pay. I checked in, it was fairly busy and maybe waited 5 minutes and was promptly serviced. The guy named Daniel was nice to me. I'm also not a huge fan of Comcast in general but for Internet it's the best option where my house is. However, for this location, the service I was provided was good. Went in today (Saturday) because for some reason there was a block on my address keeping me from having xfinity service, I was greeted quickly by the guy at the front of the store upon arrival, I waited maybe a minute or two before he called me over and directed me to a girl at the far left of all the desks, and she got me taken care of so quickly! I was on my way out with my modem in a matter of minutes, she was very pleasant! The store itself is better than the ones in Houston Texas, for sure.
