Since then, I have worked with Amit on many occasions, ranging from estate consultation & selling, selling personal pieces, fixing jewelry, and now they are making a ring for me out of an earring I lost last year. BEWARE! No stars. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. I brought a ring in to sell to the Verma Group. I was told it was worth $900 or $1,200 if I repaired the chips. I even brought in the original appraisal for $12,000. I was told everything in the appraisal was incorrect. So we took it to another appraiser recommended by our insurance company. The ring was valued at $8,613 or closer to $12,000 if it did not have the chips. I was definitely taken advantage of at this company. Bad business. read more

We spent a good part of this afternoon with Amit Verma at Verma Group. We went largely to get his thoughts as to the values of certain pieces for insurance purposes but had not really thought about selling. We started with 2 vintage pocket watches. He knew a great deal about them but also called a friend who knew more as these are special and unique. Next, we showed him some jewelry we had inherited and he was able to give us very good information as to their value and even the manufacturer. Lastly, we showed him a large diamond ring. We had a GIA certification and wanted his opinion as to its value. He checked the GIA certification for authenticity and looked up comparable rings. He told us that, if we were to buy it, he would offer $X dollars. This was better than any price we had been offered previously by high end jewelers both here in Atlanta and elsewhere. We honestly were concerned to take a check from someone we had just learned about on the internet, despite the A+ BBB rating and a huge number of positive reviews on Google as we were talking about tens of thousands of dollars but no worries now. His associate went to their bank and came back with a cashiers check. Next time, we will take his normal check without question! An excellent company, a person who puts client satisfaction above all else, and a very fair transaction! We could not recommend this company more highly! Professional, friendly, and fair! What a waste of my day going to see Verma (Melissa) at Pinnacle in Buckhead. Melissa could have easily told me over the phone they were going to low ball me by 80-90%.+ off of wholesale value. From the very beginning I was concerned as they are located in temp office suite on the Regus floor in the Pinnacle building. Her office, was probably 6' x 9' and all she did was take a picture of watch and send it off to her buyer. Amazingly, she tells me in a bold face lie that she could buy the watch for $2500 all day long. We weren't talking about a few hundred under mkt value, they were trying to gouge me for 8-10k off of wholesale! I told her I'd buy 5 of them at that price she could buy all day but not a peep to that offer. If you're not going to be fair and honest with people, don't make them waste your time traveling to see you!! You're better off not wasting your time with these people, A pawn shop in downtown Atlanta will leaving you feeling better! read more
