"Cosmic Bowling" on Sunday night is a huge disappointment. No black lights. Nothing neon. Nothing "cosmic" about it. We came here to hang out while my buddy bowled and haven't been in one ages . Pretty cool place with a bar and food . The bartender Red makes some killer drinks . They have mostly bar food like wings and fried stuff but it's clean and has a great crowd . Not sure what the alley rates are but can't be that much . This is a unique bowling alley. My husband and I had a great time while we were bowling here. Unfortunately, our lane did not seem to work well. Many times if you knocked down 9 pins it would say you had a strike. We weren't here to compete so it didn't both us too much. We thought it was really funny and it added to the fun we were having. I love the set up of the alley and thought it was very clean. We didn't get the chance to try any of the food options or the bar so we will definitely have to come back and try those another time. read more

Then threaten to ban me because I cussed at staff. I have no issues with apologizing to the staff member, but sorry I wouldn't step foot in his establishment to apologize. The lane was broken multiple times. Each time I tried to get it fixed ourselves then when nothing was working by walking up to the desk and letting them know. I was told the same thing each time. That they would fix it. After going up 3 times to complain and the same thing happened each time. I'm told "we will fix it" each time. The problem was never fixed only reset. The first time our game restarted. The second time it didn't count my throw. So I go back up a third time and I'm told the same story. So, I say this is the third time I'm coming up here and now I'm told to move over a lane! I probably would've excepted that but some busy-body had to chime in saying it's not their fault and making me feel like shit for complaining at ALL. Excuse me but I never said it was! I never received an apology from any staff so we left the establishment. Never going back! Went at 5 on a Tuesday. Stood at the counter for several minutes without attention from attendant behind the counter. Went to bar area for food. Sat at a table for more than 10 min. Worst experience that I have ever had there. Started at the front desk having a bad attitude checking us in for the "Rock and Bowl ". Then continued with the bartender. She obviously can't figure out how to multi-task. Waited 45 minutes for a pitcher of beer. I didn't complain to management until I found out that my nachos (ordered with the pitcher of beer) had not been put into the computer. Needless to say as long as this bartender is employed there I will not be returning. Spent over $215 for bowling, food and beer. Would have more if not for the bartender's incompetence.When we confronted her about her poor attitude and performance, we were kicked out and asked to leave. we went here for a friends birthday, and John, and Tammy were working there, My friend was upset because John had been ignoring me and my mother who were at the counter for about 10 minutes while we where waiting patiently and asked for shoes, John was complaining about our friend, John was terrible and cussed out my friend when she tried to talk to him about everything, and when she tried to start recording what happened he started yelling about how she was cursing which no one else heard and threaten to shut down the two lanes that she paid for, AND THEN HE PUT HER HANDS ON HER, it was insanity because after she pushed him away he started telling her to leave! Just tried to go bowling here and they said it was a 45 minute wait when there were at least half of the lanes open. I understand Covid messed everything up but if we got a lane it would have been more than 6 feet from another lane and no one was wearing a mask. So not sure why we couldn't have bowled right away? This place is very clean, modern looking. The couches are comfy and the lighting fixtures are reminiscent of products from Ikea. It really makes me think of how far bowling alleys have come since I was a child. I only tried the corn nuggets, pretty tasty overall although the sauce didn't really seem to go with the nuggets. The menu lists the sauce as a caribbean dipping sauce but it reminded me of the blooming onion sauce. As far as the service goes, it was a bit hard to get the bartender at times but nothing terrible to make note of. Non-smoking, family friendly, bar available and there's a little arcade area. Celebrating grandsons 9th Birthday... came in from out of town. Place was nice, clean, friendly staff. Food was decent as well as drinks. Fairly priced. All sounds great right!? Hmmm, till the bill came! There were several family members who started they're own tabs, so why was my credit card charged someone else meal!? A whole $107.00 dollars of which I never signed for nor did I give any type of verbal approval to charge additional tabs to my account. Well, now I'm back home. I contact the establishment speak with "Damon" I believe is the name!? Any-who, I proceed to tell him what looks to have happened. I believe your establishment charged my card in error. Hmmm!? Said Damon, let me get the details and call you back. He did just that, only to tell me that he'd spoken to the waitress who attended us, and she told him she'd gotten a "verbal approval" to charge my card for the remaining balance. And so she did! Really? I never approved nor did I ever sign a receipt for that amount. I told him exactly what was on my tab, as well as they don't have my signature, someone else must've signed it. He simply stated that there was nothing he could do other than advising me to dispute it. Great was to handle that huh!? Not only was my card charged the additional charges on their behalf but my account was overdrawn due to their "verbal authorization" which again I never approved!!! Moral of this story, Be VERY CAREFUL when attending group parties at this place, stay vigilant or the wait staff will take "verbal approvals" to charge your card!!!! I myself was told the following: 1) My drivers license is a fake ID, and the state license no longer looks like that (I just renewed it 1 month ago from my home state) 2) people are using my ID photo for FAKE ID's... Today I went to Vero Bowl to celebrate my oldest daughter's birthday along with my husband, mom, and our 3 children. Our middle daughter (aged 5) has a rare genetic disease that requires a strict medical keto diet. She has a specific drink that is medically prescribed to help keep her body in ketosis. We noted the sign on the door stating they do not allow outside food and drinks and asked the employee at the front to allow her drink, (it was in a chick fil a cup, but I made them aware I could open a new one in the original packaging). The employee said she would speak to the manager, when she returned she said we could not bring it in. We asked to speak to a manager. He also refused us. I tried to very clearly explain this drink was prescribed and was seen as a medication for her. We were still told it was against their policy and not given a chance to explain things. My family and I left sad, disappointed, and outraged. I'm sharing this to make people aware that the staff and management at Vero Bowl do not care about the law and those with medical conditions. read more

If i could give 0 stars i would. This place is not covid friendly/ following any covid restrictions. We ordered food and waited for an hour while they made it and handed it over to someone else. Carolin was our server and she had her mask to her neck not pulling it up once, she gave us an attitude the entire time she was here even after we ordered, and then she left knowing she gave our food to another table. It's a good house and I wish I could give them a 5. The staff is great and they take good care of the great equipment. Little problems that make it tough to compete cost them a 5 from me: 1. Hideous music blasting over shabby speakers makes concentration and conversation difficult. 2. A huge table in front of each pair of lanes at just the right height for banging a knee blocks access to the approach. 3. The scoreboard is constantly interrupted with grade school graphics. 4. Wet floors in the men's room makes for sticky shoes. read more

I recently went to this 32 lane bowling center with my family while on vacation. I loved it. The price was great - you could either pay per person per game...or you could pay per hour. We purchased one hour of bowling for 5 people, and were able to play 1 full game and about 4 rounds of a second game. The location was up to date, clean, bright, and full of families having fun. There were TV screens at the end of each bowling lane where music videos were playing...so not only was it fun to watch the bowling, but it was also fun to bob your head to the music and watch the videos. They also had a bar with nice couches and TVs, and had menus at each bowling lane. A major plus for me was that the rental shoes seemed clean and up to date. It's always gross when you're given a pair of shoes that look and smell like they've been in use since the 80s. These were nice and smell-free. Major bonus. Before I moved we came here once a week. The staff was always nice and the drinks at the bar were always good and not terribly priced. The jalapeño poppers are delicious I unfortunately never had any other food from The snack bar/kitchen. The lanes are nice and if you check the website they always have good deals every night. My only downfall is most of the time I have come they haven't played decent music and they sometimes don't turn the lights down... what's bowling without the black lights?!? read more

This place is in serious need of some modernization, but if you are just looking to bowl a few games it is cheap and will do the trick. They have a snack bar along with a bar to buy some beers while you bowl, but you probably do not want to sit in. The also have a few pool tables along with a few video games for the kids. read more

Our twins turned five. Between classmates, friends and family and our limitations in the local area for a venue we were in a major delima, until I spoke with the manager of Vero Bowl. Craig was amazing, initially having me work through Luzzie, the party coordinator, our needs were reassessed and a suggestion was made to use the VIP lounge. Kids had pizza but chef Michael whipped up an amazing baked ziti for us. The menu was extensive for catering/bulk options. They even allowed us to order off the menu getting us a six foot sub. Our party was over-serviced, every need was attended to and then some. All guests were happy. We brought in a face painter/balloon twister and characters too. The staff, service, accommodations and pricing made this a five star party. We can't wait to go back! Way to go Vero Bowl! read more

We had a birthday party at the Vero bowl and we were not impressed at all. Nothing flowed the party host kept disappearing and the kids food was wrong the pizza looked like it was dropped on the floor then put on a plate. The hostess was really no help with anything to do with the party besides getting the kids shoes. It is a nice place the kids did have fun bowling and the arcade but the game cards they give out for the party only have $1 on Them it's like playing one game , so you have to add more money on the cards for them too play longer. All in all the kids had a good time but really need to get better organized on the party side. And I'm just speaking about the person we had so it might be better with someone else. read more

This is a solid take on a bowling alley. It is very well-kept and features quite a few amenities that you might not find in a typical bowling facility. The vibe is very lounge-y and comfortable. The bar area is a bit small and so is the arcade. We ended up sitting at a counter-top table behind a group of people bowling (we weren't planning on bowling that night but might come back since it seemed inexpensive and well-maintained). The couches, lanes, balls, tv's, bathrooms, etc. all looked like they were new-ish and in great condition. VIP room is expensive . BUT NEVER get food there . It's a rip off . It was suppose to be for 15 persons , the quantity wouldn't satisfy 5 person . Chips were not crunchy , salsa direct from a jar ,Jalapeno poppers served in the aluminium tray . Pizza flat as a paper. I would not even feed my dog with that . Server not efficient . Don't call it a VIP room if the service is not VIP.Session was ending at 11pm . At 10.55 , two men showed up to play pool ......It was still our VIP room until we all leave . By the way they have no cancelation policy , because nobody cancel , I was told . The premices are OK . Bathroom in VIP are simply disgusting . The bowling alley is a great addition to Vero, its something that we've needed and have waited for a long time. I've been there mulitple times and had different experiences whether its simply to bowl or to have a couple of drinks at the bar with some friends. However this last time I went I we bowled and got food and the experience was less than fun! The front desk staff was great and very pleasing, the waitstaff however needs much improvement. It took us so long to even find a server, than when they came to our alley she addressed the other bowlers and i had to chase her down. Finally ordered and still never got refills and all i got were excuses. I'm in the service industry and I'm sorry that is not a difficult. I will go back but only deal with the bar when it comes to food and drink orders! read more
