Visited after work with a group of coworkers and hit the bar first for happy hour specials (super deals at the bar) then had some good wings and amazing fried pickles ! Great space- much more affordable than Top Golf, but smaller as well. Can have up to 7 in a space- playing or not- which we just made. Greeted and given a space immediately- Monday around lunch. We did have to repurchase copies of cards, which was not ideal - electronic options would be more convenient- especially for those like us that visit a few times a year but don't live here. We even had to purchase for those not playing (3 people) which seemed ridiculous honestly, especially for an 89 year old and my husband, who is in a knee brace. Offer both high top table and couch spaces. Offer a good menu- inclusive of typical bar snacks and drinks. Also offer a brunch menu. Typical prices for this, a bit high. We were given our drinks immediately (also ordered immediately), snacks took longer to order but came quickly after (waiter was slammed). Ordered: pretzel bites, cheese curds, fried pickles. All decent and simple easy bar food. I will have to say that everyone was super nice- holding doors, asking about our experience, just really stepping up to try to make it nice which was very much noticed and appreciated. Good game selection, offer left handed clubs and kid clubs. Not all of our hits were counted which could be annoying- having to hit 2x more on average each time. I will have to say, the customer service was pretty great overall. When I visit Vero I like stopping by BigShots. Less fancy version of Top Golf, exact same concept. Check-in is easy and the bays are nice to hit balls from. The video/games for the tee boxes are a bit outdated and don't pick up your shots a large percent of the time. Service is always great, and the food/drinks are fine. Please note, this review is only for food and drink service. Due to rain we did not partake in the sports part of this establishment. We arrived around 5:30 to enjoy the daily happy hour they have from 4:00-7:00 pm. Great prices on Domestic draft beers at $2.50 a pint. They offer other price breaks on house wines, well drinks, and import beers. We sat at the bar and received prompt service. The beer is super cold which is refreshing during the hot summer days. We had friends joining us for dinner, so when they arrived, we moved to a table. It took 15 minutes before anyone came to take our orders. Once we placed our orders, it was about 20 minutes until our food came out to the table. We all enjoyed our entrees, though the chicken in the tacos was not drained well and a puddle of juice was on the plate making it difficult to eat. Big Shots also offers general Trivia games with prizes on Thursday nights starting at 6:00 and then every other Friday with themed Trivia games. Plan accordingly because if you intend to go just for food and conversation, it will be challenging to hear each other over the Trivia game host on the microphone. The quality of the food is pretty good considering it is golfing range and sports bar. The price points are reasonable as well. I've been stopping in on Mondays for their weekly trivia in the bar area and it's pretty fun. I'm not very good at it, but when I'm with friends that are, it's more enjoyable haha. Overall the host does a really good job, and the servers work hard to keep up with demand. For some reason, they are generally pretty understaffed during trivia nights. Hopefully they turn that around because it currently leads to delays and mistakes (in my experience there). Otherwise it's a great place to catch the game, have some bar food, and enjoy time socializing with friends. read more

Wife and I go there for lunch only, I usually order the turkey, avocado and bacon sandwich and it has always been good. Nice big slices of real smoked bacon. I guess they got a new kitchen manager and believe me, corners are being cut. We tried it one more time for lunch and my wife ordered the jerked mahi sandwich which was tiny and very dry, obviously frozen not fresh and I ordered their steak sandwich special. We came here to golf and celebrate a buddy's promotion. We came on a Saturday. Mistake #1. So crowded. 2) If you come after 5 they charge you 45 an hour to golf per lane. However, when you come at 420 it was supposed to be 30 an hour. We'll in the managements eyes, it gets prorated to 45 an hour anyway. When i brought it up to management the guy gave me some kind of runaround saying it's a algorithm and he can't fix it. Sounds like a way to rip people off algorithm. We golfed. It was good. If nothing else, please read for a lesson on how melting cheese apparently works - exclusively in the big shots kitchen. This is the second time we have come here and had issues with the food. So we gave it another shot (hehe), everybody deserves a second chance. We ordered the pretzel bites, a flatbread, a margarita pizza, wings, and a wedge salad with steak added. The salad came out with plastic cutlery and as entertaining as it was to watch somebody cut steak with a plastic fork and knife - it was not cutting it (ha!). The wings were great and the pretzel bites were piping hot - 10/10. The flatbread and pizza, however, came out ice cold. It was a cooler Florida evening, but even so generally food right out of the oven doesn't magically get cold on the way from the kitchen to the table. The heaters were not even on overhead, so really not that cool at all. It took us all eating a slice (3 to be exact), to look at each other and say "hey this is cold-cold, right?". We told the server, who told another guy who promptly apologized and said oh no they'll take care of that, the pizza is usually really good. WHEN THEN - a manager came out with a receipt/ticket. Something of that nature to make him look important I'm sure. He then proceeded to say these pizzas came right from the oven, but because it's cold out they got cold faster than usual. To which I stated, I absolutely would agree with you except I took the first bite immediately and the cheese was ice cold and not melted in the slightest. He said and I quote "the margarita uses a fresh mozzarella and we get complaints when we cook it too long. You know fresh mozzarella, it's a ball that you slice up. It's different from the shredded mozzarella cheese you use at home when you make a pizza." You're probably wondering, what could you possibly say to that very intelligent statement of cheese science? Nothing. I was too baffled to respond. First of all, that's not how it works and I use fresh mozzarella religiously. I then said, I'm not looking for a whole new sets of pizzas, if you could just heat them up that would be great. Guys, the sauce was cold and dried up. The tomato's were not even singed. These pizzas had at best seen an easy bake oven. ON TOP OF THAT - the other flatbread had that famous shredded cheese the manager spoke of. UNMELTED AND COLD. Would you believe it? All this to say, they brought the two pizzas and flatbread back out in boxes (still cold) and gave us an oh-so-gracious 10% off JUST THE PIZZAS. Then swiftly plopped the check down before we were even done eating. There was one beer ordered and 45 minutes left of play time. Guys. I cannot. Just come here to drink and hit balls, unless you need a lesson on how to melt cheese. The kitchen ain't it. read more

Three stars for the obvious-great ambience and an even better experience. It's no secret that Vero Beach does not have much for entertainment, so BigShots is a for sure stop, for some family fun. The food is very..bleh. Ordered the hot dogs and they are small and over cooked franks, on a mini Texas toast. Added chili and cheese, expecting the typical chili cheese hot dog..nope! It's a queso like cheese on top of a messy "chili". The menu is typical bar food, but would not recommend. The milkshake was nothing spectacular either. I've been here a couple of times and each time I'm less and less impressed by the food. All in all, I'll be back for drinks and fun. I'll remember to eat before hand though. read more

This rating is for the resturant portion. Before I get into that however, a word of caution for the mini golf. It is literally "mini" golf. There are no clowns heads or things to bounce the ball off of, or even borders around the holes. So don't expect to get all silly and wild. Serious mini golfing only. There is also a really cool looking driving range which I would probably give 5 stars if I actually used Now to the resturant. Ordered the club wedge and bowl of chili. The chili had zero spice at all and the club wedge was a fairly basic wrap. Also ordered the pretzel bites which were better than anything else I had there. The server was good, not great but she did her job. The set up was nice and the overall look is clean and new. Even though it was a flight Scope monitor It was taking an average of 40 yards off of my driver and irons. It was windy but for me playing golf for 7 years and being top in the world for my age, I knew that it was the monitor. The balls were very used and would not ever go true in the air. Overall the food was great but if you are just out there to have fun on the range it is a great place. The putting course is really fun and that also brought the rating up. We came here for a pre-wedding party. Staff was friendly. The food was good - typical bar food. I really enjoyed the fries (they are shaped differently then what I have seen before). The golf games were fun but the scoring is very in accurate. For instance, we played the island game and if you hit a ball on the island, it would sometimes giving you zero points but then another ball would not even come close to one of the islands and the person would get 345 points. My family and I love big shots! it's smaller than top golf, so a lot more low key and laid back. However, they do tend to have glitches, technology-wise. Also, the service is GODAWFUL. I highly suggest avoiding the top floor left side. There are two support staffers (Lindsey and Jacob) that honestly appear stoned 100% of the time. They somehow even get ahold of the music and will hit "next" for twenty minutes. They completely ignore their job which is to SUPPORT THE PATRONS. they chat the servers up which ultimately leads to be ignored by patrons... literally throwing your own plates and trash in the garbage. Food is good, drinks are good, but be ready to have minor disappointments that could ultimately be fixed with better management. read more

I found this place to be laid back atmosphere with the nice lounge seating couches which was amazingly comfortable. Our own private golf box it felt. I loved brining my son and my husband to this place. The food was good and all of the staff was very helpful from the check in to the end . I highly recommend this place to spend time with your kids any age, husband, or meet with some friends for some drinks . The food was made fresh and fast. This was my 3rd time here. Only 2nd time eating. Very bad experience, and its unfortunate we live in the neighborhood and are very close by. Our waitress on Wednesday December 26th at 2:30pm was awful. When we walked in to the nearly empty restaurant she looked at us and said, I'll be right with you. After waiting a while she walked up and said, have a seat wherever you want. Lol. What? My wife's flatbread came out cold after 40 minutes, she walks over and asks, how is your food, wife says my food is cold. Waitress says, "oh" and walks away. This place is absolute trash. Every time I have come here since moving back to the area, I am told that there is a 2-3 Hour wait for a bay. I learned quickly ( from the bartender ) that you just have to agree to the long wait and you'll have your bay within 15 minutes. TopGolf doesn't even quote wait times this long. The entire staff that works the front counter needs customer service training. They are extremely rude when asking to go an upstairs bay. I will not be coming back.
