We walked in sat at the end of the bar it took the bartender a while before asking us if we wanted a drink. There were only about 14 people in the tavern, which should have allowed for a faster greeting. I was served a beer I didn't order, but I drank it and paid for it. We had to google the menu as we were not asked if we wanted to order. We were not even asked if we wanted another drink! All the while several other people had 3 drinks while ours sat empty. The establishment is clean and friendly atmosphere. The buffalo chicken dip was about the best thing from our visit. We would recommend bartender training for customer service. read more

The service was great but we had been there for about 2 hours & the bartender told us we had to leave or my husband had to put on a shirt with sleeves as he was wearing a tank top. The new bartender coming on said it is posted on the door that sleeves are required and wasn't pleasant about it. This is a little neighborhood bar not a country club so we have no idea why on earth sleeves or no sleeves were a rule. Had we been told upfront we could have made the decision to stay, get a shirt with sleeves or leave. Giving 3 stars because the initial bar tender was nice & provided good service. read more

Seems to be a very crowded and friendly bar. But a friend and I went there for the food which was advertised through Yelp. The bartender said they haven't served food in years. They do some modest sandwich business at lunch, but no food at all in the evening. We were disappointed, but, like I said, it was a crowded and seemed like a friendly bar scene. read more

Ehh, small town pub. Pool tables in back. The plaza recently got re-done and it NEEDED it. Right along the River, ok prices. Same ole faces sitting at the bar, they don't smoke inside anymore which is nice, for the non smokers. Wish they did more food cause they advertise as if they cook 7 days a week. 4 star. read more

Locals have enjoyed coming here for almost 30 years. We have followed after it relocated. Unfortunately they stopped appreciating us local sports enthusiasts Became extremely popular when they stopped smoking or vape drawing inside. None of us that smoke don't care since it's easy to step out front (2chairs) or out back (wood high top) is open to parking & view the canal. Until recently, it WAS a great place in town to enjoy live sports n hang out with friendly staff. Last week, Will decided to turnoff the audio during broadcast NFL TNF Luckily, there are plenty of places that cater to locals year round. Unfortunately, nothing has been updated & the place is deteriorating. Us locals would put up with shoddy atmosphere as long as we feel appreciated. When we watched in shock as a Local gentleman getting yelled at by Will with our request to hear the ONLY game Will walked away leaving the bar in complete shock and quiet. 3 more locals came in. When one of them asked Will if they could hear the broadcast, he again refused. he won't even put on 1 TVs audio. Hopefully they will revisit this new policy read more

After supporting this local business for awhile we will no longer be spending our money there. After arriving with a group of friends for our 1pm NFL football at 1230 we experienced a customer who came in with friends looking to cause trouble. Our group had seats and was enjoying conversations and a few cold beers when this group walked in and sat in a chair we had. Glasses and a wallet there as our friend had just got up to tell me a story. The lady rudly got up and continue to look and talk about us. The second time of our friend got up she sat her butt in the chair and refused to get up. The owner comes over and told our friend here is a chair. It was not a bar stool with a back to it. Our friend nicely told owner she had a bad back and he told her to sit there or she could go home. At no time did he ask who had the chair etc. Poor poor example of ownership and no way to treat your customers read more

Nice sports Bar in an awesome location with Pool Tables. Plenty of Sport Screens to watch and wall to wall sports memorabilia. Bar service was friendly and attentive, Unfortunately it lacks a decent beer selection does not even offer any local beers. The food selection is limited and ordinary. Fun place to watch or particpate in karaoke. Dark and smokey, with affordable beer prices. Pool tables in back, no riff-raff or undesirables on nights we were there. I think smoking is actually encouraged here. Not sure what it would be like on nights without karaoke. Very dark, but comfortable. read more

Nice little hole in the wall. It is dark and the music inconsistent...so lots of quiet time, but we came in on a Thursday night, so maybe it's faster moving on other nights. I have been to this bar many times, not because it is a good bar, but because they have $1 beers on Wednesday. Every time I have been, the service has been incredibly slow and unfriendly to anyone they don't immediately recognize. The real reason for this review however is my last experience. I first walked in the back door and was greeted by a man eating food he brought in from somewhere else. Before I make it to the bar to get a drink, I see him lick all of his fingers before grabbing a pool stick to continue his game. I then get to the bar and wait for a good 5 minutes to get a drink due to the fact that the bartender was more concerned with talking on her cell phone than making drinks. When she did finally come over and take our drink order, we were declined service because she thought our out of state ID's were fake. We asked if we could have the police officer outside verify that we were 25 and 23 but she refused. This is my first yelp review and the reason I wrote it is because I was so appalled at everything that happened during this 7 minute period that I don't want anyone else to waste time on this bar.
