This is my 2nd time ordering pizza from Vero's, and both experiences the pizza has been excellent. Today I was able to get $9 off for National Pizza Day, which brought my two-topping pizza to a little over $19. The cheese is amazing, the crust is wonderful, and I really appreciate that the sauce isn't bitter. We ordered ham, meatball, and ricotta, and all of the toppings were flavorful and delicious. I especially love that the pizza isn't overly cooked and the cheese is perfectly oozy and just so good! It's the kind of pizza I order when I want to spoil my family with something really delicious. That said, at $28 for a 14" pizza, it's on the pricier side. While the quality is outstanding, it's not the most practical option for feeding a large crowd. For bigger parties, places like Papa John's or Domino's are more budget-friendly at about half the cost. We also ordered the cheese curds, and they were absolutely delicious, the cheese was so good! If dining in at Vero's the sitting area is very small. There are some bar seats and then another row of bar seats close behind and then maybe 2 or 3 small tables. read more

Eaten hot and fresh and this is like akin to a warm casserole-like pie with great ingredients and delicious flavors. We had leftovers the next day which really helps you form a solid opinion because the sauce settles and the flavors develop. The tomato sauce here is solid. Not too sweet, not to acidic. I wasn't a fan of Vero's prior to this visit, but I am now! This last visit was a whole new ball game! We ate in, and our sausage and mushroom GF crust as well as our cauliflower crust pizzas came out piping hot and fresh! I definitely preferred the cauliflower crust over the GF crust. The cauliflower crust was thin, extra crispy, and had phenomenal flavor! I do wish I didn't have to pay an arm for their pizzas, but I will definitely be back for the cauliflower crust! read more

Oh Vero, I'm so glad you opened this location closer to me! Vero has one of the top "Chicago thin" crusts in the valley - it actually reminds me of my go-to pizza growing up in Chicagoland! Nowadays, I need to eat the gluten-free crust and they offer two versions - a gluten-free traditional crust and then a cauliflower crust. You cannot go wrong with either, but I prefer the traditional crust. As I have said many times, great Chicago pizza comes down to three things - the crust, the sauce, and toppings! Vero has the perfect pizza sauce - absolutely love it! And the toppings - fresh, high-quality toppings that I double up on! My only wish is that they offered different sizes of their gluten-free crust because a 10" pizza is just not enough to share with anyone else, so I always end up having to order two pizzas... and that gets expensive! Wonderfully delicious Chicago deep dish pizza! We had ours with sausage, basil, Roma tomatoes, and olives. We also had a side of meatballs with hot giardiniera. The crust was golden brown and somehow both crispy and doughy. The sauce was just a little tangy and not too salty - just right! Adding fresh basil as a topping provided a bet of herby greenness to the mix. The meatballs were pretty good and the hot gardiniera added a spicy pop - almost too spicy for some of my dining partners. First timer here! We were told by an acquaintance that Vero Pizza was the only place we would find an Authentic Chicago Style pizza & my goodness were they right! I personally have never had a Chicago Pizza but now that I've experienced, idk if I could ever go back! As we opened the pizza box, a stranger came by and asked where we got the pizza from, mentioning that they are from Chicago & have yet to find an authentic Chicago style pizza! Customer service was excellent, we ordered online for in store pickup. The process was a breeze! The prices are amazing, the pizza is SO filling too. The ingredients are all so fresh. A commendation from a friend told me to try this place. The recommendation was spot on. My gf got the deep dish pizza and I had the BYO Calzone with black olives, sausage, Canadian bacon and basil. It was all amazing. As we walked in there was nobody in the place as we walked in about 10 mins after they opened for afternoon service. The wait staff was amazing. Yall. This food is phenomenal. We drove by it the other day getting coffee and decided to try it tonight. We ordered their 14 inch deep dish millennium park pizza with hot giardiniera (we think this would still taste just as good with the sweet peppers) with a pound of boneless wings (parm garlic and veros italian herbs). Sooooo.... We only were able to finish a slice each and all the wings for 2 people. Both me and my partner are excited to have leftovers! The pizza was perfect. So filling and the flavors... *chefs kiss*. We already wanna go back and try the buttery crust style pizza and more things. They do have a small dine in side which is nice as well. The workers seem very nice and very helpful too. Remember with deep dish yall... 30-35 mins on the regular for cooking, so it's normally that long of a wait for longer when it comes to deep dish. I think the only bad thing that wasn't horrible but just like a tip, maybe but the veggies for the wings in a lil baggie on the side. When we tried to eat them it was cooked celery and carrots lol. This deep dish now tops my list as a lifetime Pizza Snob! Sure, there are other places in the race, but they are still at the starting line compared to Vero's. As per my modis operandi, I ordered the plain cheese deep dish. Because if you can't make the basics..... The deep dish crust was crispy on the outside and soft and pleasantly chewy on the inside. The tomatoes were bright and fresh, and the cheese was plentiful, with the slight chew you'd expect from quality cheese. We ordered the 14 inch deep dish, and were only able to finish half of it between to two of us, so the large could easily feed a family. They also have a a thin crust and a butter crust available, that I will try at another time. Please be prepared, because like all deep dish, these beauties take around 30-35 minutes to cook...But they are worth every minute of waiting time.
