This place is absolutely amazing. Mouthwatering food, excellent service and a great environment. My mom lives nears here and we went to visit and she insisted we go and get takeout from here. So we decided to try a variety of items, here it goes: Fried Mozzarella Sticks -- delicious! Rice Balls -- omg, so good. TASTY!!! Large House Salad -- a little small for the price, but very fresh Vesuvio's Meat Amore (we did ours without bacon) -- This was excellent. Authentic New York style pizza. The sauce is so flavorful and sauced to perfection. Spinach & Cheese Calzone -- This was the real winner for us. The pizza is excellent don't get me wrong, but this calzone was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Omg the amount of ricotta that is used was absolutely perfect. I am still dreaming about this calzone. Cannoli -- SO good. Like SO SO SO good. Highly recommend. Do not skip on this restaurant, it is SO amazing and so worth it!

We were driving back from Orlando and looking for a good barbecue place not too far off the highway. We didn't find one right away so we decided on pizza and we were SO GLAD WE DID! Vesuvio's is a tiny place with huge, amazing aromas! We knew from Yelp pics that we wanted to try the Grandma Pizza, so we ordered that immediately. Our server had only been working there for a short time, but she was so great. She made us feel welcome and we could tell she too was excited about the great food we were about to try for the first time. Our Grandma Pizza ranked as high or higher than any pizza we've had, including Fort Lauderdale's and Miami's top-rated pizzerias. The first thing we noticed is that it was a beautiful, rectangular pie. We couldn't wait to dig in! Immediately the garlic hit, followed by a bit of heat in the sauce. The had created a unique flavor all their own! The crust quickly became my favorite thing which in my book is the acid test for good pizza. I wanted all 4 corner slices, but my wife got one first! We had a great chat with Ralph, the owner, creator and the REAL DEAL from Napoli, Italy. This guy knows his stuff and then some! We cannot wait to go back, try more of their food and I have to go when Ralph is there because it's like going to school for the price of a meal! Thank you Vesuvio's!

As my cousin is an Uber driver, she often gets ordered from here and we decided we HAD to try it! I decided to get the Grandma's pizza and a cannoli! Wow! The pizza was so delicious and flavorful! One of my top pizza places for sure now! However, my cousin is a little more plainer then I and she felt that the pizza had too much flavoring and only could eat one slice. I just wanted to add that information for others who have more of a less flavorful meal. The cannoli, out of this world! I will be coming back and referring!

Hands down the best pizza around. We have our whole family hooked on their pie. Their dessert case is filled with all sorts of treats to bring home to top off dinner. Their dinners are fabulous too. This is my go to place for pizza ,pasta and cheesecake. Family run, consistently well above average easy parking and in and out. My favorites are pizza 9$ m-w, meatball parm hero, spaghetti and meatballs. Solid 3.5 stars pizzeria restaurant in South Stuart by Superwalmart. I liked the passion in there from the staff, they have pastries cookies and hard meat and cheeses for sale also. My meal started with 4 star freshly baked garlic knots properly seasoned with Parmesan cheese and olive oil. My dinner salad was excellent, portion size bigger than most and crunchy yummy with creamy Italian dressing, cucumber, black olives over iceberg lettuce. My main course of chicken parm over spaghetti with marinara was good not great. Huge portion size where I took half home, the chicken was properly breaded, seasoned and sautéed, covered in nicely melted mozzarella. The pasta was the weakness, spaghetti was overdone and mushy and way way overdressed with too much sauce. How about offering me a choice of which pasta I want, give me that sauce on side and cook it al dente on the verge of crunchy. With all that said I want to go back and try the pizza, the hero's, and the wings! read more

Love the Buffalo Chicken pizza, the best around. The calzones and the pepperoni pizza are good too. Our go to when ordering pizza. The only thing I would change(which is my preference) would be for the eggplant that they use to be breaded and fried. read more

This place is the best in Stuart. The workers are awesome and food is great. Not a huge fan of the wings but the pizza...... we add extra sauce and extra cheese and it's amazing. Before corona we would always grab a treat from the display area. All was good read more

Ordered with UberEats. Manicotti tasted very bland and the noodles were mushed within the sauce so I literally couldn't figure out where the noodles were. Chef Boyardee is better. The pizza was COLD. Learn from me- DONT ORDER FROM HERE! Very disappointed. It also took over an hour to receive order. read more

Busy place, people order lots of pizza and food here. Had good reviews, and I was looking for a NY/NJ style pizza in the area so gave it a try. I can't give it a bad review, as it really is just a matter of personal taste for me. The pizza I got was heavy on the garlic. I didn't order a garlic pie, so I can only assume that's how they normally make it. Otherwise was a good typical NY style. Thinner crust but not too thin, good balance of sauce and cheese. On vacation from Tacoma, WA. Our host and his son said they had not found a good pizza in town... well the yelp reviews seemed ok so decided to try Vesuvios, so glad we did! We had the family combo with the Sicilian and cheese pizzas. They covered both of my pizza cravings. The Sicilian was thick with the perfect amount of crisp and chewy. The cheese pizza was nice and crispy with amazing flavors for a simple pizza. Can't comment on chicken wing... they all were gone before I could try them. Ordered this for the first time through Uber Eats. They handled a special request without issue (definitely gets ignored at other places). The white pizza is DELICIOUS! I added artichokes and black olives, amazing! I also randomly ordered a piece of cheesecake. OMG. First of all, it is a "normal" size slice, a perfect ending. Secondly, it had a chocolate top layer, that didn't excite me at first...but it was YUMMY! Will be going to the restaurant next time. I need to give them my money, lol. read more

We were in Stuart for the weekend to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We wanted pizza so we checked Vesuvios. Glad we did! Awesome pizza & pastries especially the tiramisu! My husband is a pizza connoisseur. He worked making pizza all through high school and college and still makes his own dough, sauce and toppings. I really don't like giving bad reviews but this just did not live up to the hype. We saw a video on…read moreyou tube by the bar rescue guy raving about fanitnis and had to go check it out. We started with the whipped ricotta plate and it was a total let down. It's an appetizer which is usually defined as a small food item that is shareable among guest. The plate came with only one small piece of bread which we were forced to cut in half and then when we asked for more bread we were charged an extra fee for something we should have received with our "shareable" dish. The amount of ricotta was highly disappointing as well. I'm not sure if there is a shortage of ricotta but it was the thinnest layer on the plate we received. Now the presentation was very nice and the mandarins and radish added a beautiful pop of color and flavor to the plate but for the cost the amount felt cheap. The Caesar salad was ok nothing very special just a head of romaine cut in half with dressing poured on and more crostini that I didn't want because I just had to pay for more to go with my whipped ricotta . The chicken parm which we didn't get a photo of was wet and soggy and the sauce was too sweet for me but I heard that's how they do it in New Heaven. Either way it wasn't great and neither was the service. One bartender and she was just spaced out and our main courses didn't come out together and I'm thinking because I ordered a salad as my main but that kind of kink should be worked out system wise by now. The house Montepulcjano wine was in fact great and so see the band that was playing.

The prosciutto was put on the top by whole slice, so when you took a pie slice the prosciutto on the next slice would flop around. You cant pick up a slice and eat it without worrying about the meat going all over the place. Why not shred the prosciutto up a little into more bit size pieces? I probably won't be returning. Oh, and the pie was done too early. I went out to run some errands and arrived 15 minutes early and the pie was ready. If I had arrived on time the pie would have just been sitting there for 15 minutes.....If management responds and acknowledges this review, I'll take it down.

Across from the Memorial Park Amphitheater. FOOD: I've never heard of Chicago "Tavern style" pizza. I'm used to the typical Chicago deep dish square pies. This pie was sold as whole pies and by the slice. Slices are cut like a traditional round pizza. I'm not a fan of the new designer, thin crust, pizzas, and that's what this pizza appears to be. Pizza sauce was tasty. Pepperoni could've been a bit spicier for my liking and the crust was a bit chewy. BOTTOM LINE: As always with all my reviews, the bottom line comes down to the "customer so what". Would I come back? Probably not. Not because the pizza wasn't OK but because this type of pizza is not my favorite style of pizza. If you think you'd like to try and learn what Chicago "Tavern style" pizza is like, check it out. Otherwise, there were other great pizza places in the Stuart area.

They were quick to take my order and offered helpful suggestions from their extensive menu. I decided to go for their white pizza and garlic knots. When my pizza arrived, it looked like a work of art. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the cheeses had just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess. Vesuvios has an adorable storefront with the bakery section right by the register, so be sure to grab a cannoli because they're delicious! The aromas of confections mixes with Italian spice, and makes me feel at home again. The gluten free pizza and regular pizza taste great- the crust is perfect for folding your slice! It can be a bit pricey depending on what you order, but I will happily pay extra for GOOD gluten free options. Definitely worth a stop for a quick sub, slice, or sweet treat :) read more

Amazing pizza and even better prices. This is more of a carry out place. Not many seats but we were getting it to go so no problem. We even picked out some pastries and the guy working gave us a free tiramisu. Definitely would go back in a heart beat. read more
