How many have had that plumbing emergency right at a holiday or weekend? Well us too the day before Thanksgiving. A leak was discovered in our Hydronic system residing in our attic. It was a pinhole size leak in the Pex that sprayed also causing damage to our ceiling. We are prior victims at another residence to a toilet hose coming free from the fitting draining 13k gallons of water to our upper story so we have water PTSD to say the least. After pumping water from the pan into buckets up and down a ladder into the attic for hours, I wrapped the leak with plumbing tape to slow it and waited for our home warranty assistant to find a plumber to help. The earliest appointment was for the following Monday which was (5) more days away. I called numerous plumbing companies, most didn't answer the phone. I'm sure because of the Holiday. I continued to bucket out water every 3-4 hours and we slept very little through the next day after also hosting numerous guests for dinner. On Friday, I continued to call around and begged the home warranty staff to try and find someone as this was to the point of just turning off the water to our home and leaving. No one was available sooner according to the scheduler. I then had the best fortune of reaching out to NEWWRX Plumbing and was contacted by Mike Little who made us an appointment for the following morning. Service Technician Juan Rodriguez was at our home first thing and went to work making the repair. He was courteous, knowledgeable about our system and what was needed to fix it. It all started with a Tuesday evening, my wife had made a great dinner and upon starting to wash the dishes, noticed the sink backing up. Such a sight immediately turned a great evening into a mystery of how bad is this going to be. My first thought was maybe the p-trap was clogged so in went a bit of drain cleaner we had in the laundry room. Waited the usual 20 to 30 minutes and in went boiling water, no luck. By this time, I was ready for bed but was determined to try again the next day. Let's just say the next day wasn't any better. Even after snaking the line, nothing I did would clear the clog. After requesting plumbing service on Yelp, NewWRX was the first to respond, allowing me to select a window that worked for me the next day. I had a few other companies reach out hours after NewWRX so I decided to get a few bids. A got a couple quotes for snaking via text and one other company came out, the other companies serviceman who came out simply looked under the sink, asked me a few basic questions and then said give me 5 to 10 minutes to write up estimates. He came back with three prices, basic snaking, more aggressive snaking, and then hydro jetting. Keep in mind the 2nd most expensive is what I was required to get if I wanted a camera in the line. While the other company was writing up the estimate, I get a call from Jason with NewWRX and immediately I hear a different level of enthusiasm in his voice compared to the other guy but I'm straight up with him as I was with the other guy in telling him I have another company providing a bid. Jason says no problem, I'm about an hour out. Jason and Josh (a great team by the way both in their communication and coordination) arrive and not only ask more questions than the previous guy but also explain what is believed to be the issue but suggest a camera ($69) be ran through the line to know what's going on. Keep in mind the other company I needed to pay over $500 to have a camera view included. I give the green light, and Jason and Josh go to work immediately and in minutes, determine there is a lot of grease in the lined, packed in quite well. Keep in mind I had spent hours the night before with a snake trying to at least open up a pathway for water, no luck. Jason and Josh recommended hydrojetting and for good reason, there was so much grease in the line, at times, even the handheld snake wasn't pushing through. This ordeal ended up being a two day project, the first day to diagnose and try and at least open the line a tad to be able to wash dishes in the sink and the 2nd day to come back with the hydrojet and tackle the beast. After no luck on day 1 to open the line a tad, I knew this problem wasn't an easy fix. Jason and Josh return on Day 2 and when I say the clog was putting up a fight, believe me, this was not an easy win. Jason and Josh communicated well with each other, the entire time had the utmost care and respect for our property and in the end, tamed the beast and got the line unclogged which made my entire household happy after days of washing dishes in the bathtub. If you are picky like me, want a company that puts an emphasis on service and quality while also being cheaper than some of the competition (NewWRX was $100 cheaper than the other company for every level of service and Jason and Josh were much more pleasant to deal with plus much more helpful) do yourself a favor and reach out to NewWRX making sure to request Jason and his tag team partner Josh. read more

I had Newwrx out to investigate water intrusion in a side walk near my front door recently and have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience.
