Very amazing experience great water slides, and great Lake, can't wait to come back again

We had such an amazing stay at Jellystone Park! Our family stayed for a full week and had the best time. There was so much for the kids to do, the park was fun and family-friendly, and it was the perfect home base for exploring Zion and the surrounding area. We loved being able to have a mix of adventure and relaxation during our trip. The kids stayed entertained, we made some great family memories, and we genuinely didn't want the week to end. The location is beautiful, and there are so many fun things to do nearby. We would absolutely stay here again and are already talking about coming back. If you're looking for a fun family RV getaway near Zion, I definitely recommend Jellystone Park! read more

This campground is only a few years old, and it's nice and clean, but there isn't much shade. Check in was confusing at first since you think you are pulling up to a little hut but there is no one there? So we kept driving to the round about and I walked into the rangers station. I easily found the campers check in line and I then it was easy breezy. We were given a map, instructions, a bracelet to access the water areas, etc. The store offers plenty of fun souvenirs, albeit pricey. I was slightly displeased with the options as far as food/camping goods go. There were snacks, a few lunchables, some drinks, the frazzle drinks etc. as well as some medical goods, like aspirin, bandages etc. But it didn't really have the necessary goods we really needed that ended up with a quick run to Walmart... but thankfully Walmart wasn't far. Our campsite was clean, and supplied the necessary utilities we needed, as well as a fire pit, picnic table and one tiny tree. I wish the sites were flat rather than the black rocks. We had a great view of the lagoon and nightly sunsets. But felt like the rocks made it extra hot on our site. Of course the kids loved the mining, and playground. My daughter did the Build a Bear at the kids rec center, but we never saw the Bears that were supposed to be at these events. But maybe because it was 105 degrees?! The main attraction is both the water park & lagoon. Both each equally just as exciting and unique. The water park isn't huge by any means. It had 4 watersides. 3 different types. One nicknamed the toilet bowl by our group. You can slide down on a tube single or as a double and it's a lot of fun spinning around the bowl before shooting out. There was also another slide that did some turns and two slides that shot straight down. There were two pools, two jacuzzis, a splash pad and my favorite... the lazy river! The waters were very warm in all the pools. There is very little shade at the water park, besides a few canopies, a few covered tables and there were reservable cabanas that were a bit pricey. The lagoon water was warm on the outskirts, but cooler the further in you go. It's a sloped and sandy beach with chairs, a few palm trees that also don't offer much shade and a small canopy. Life jackets are a must for everyone including adults if you go in above your knees, and those kids working are very strict! Also, no pushing and shoving off the inflatable play center. That's the biggest attraction to the lagoon. A huge obstacle course in the middle of the lagoon. Hours for the water park/lagoon are a bit disappointing as they don't open till 11am and close by 7pm. It's so hot in the summer in St George they really could stand to stay open longer. The cooler fee is $15 per day and no outside food or alcohol is allowed, and yes they do inspect! You can go use one pool and a jacuzzi at 7:30p for campers with a special keypad code. One downside to this park, is it's next to a sewer treatment facility to the west and one day it smelled bad as the temperature rose. There's also a lot of construction happening outside the park near the lagoon, so there was dust and tractor noise. We stayed 4 nights. I think 3 is plenty in the awful summer heat. I think once the trees can offer more shade it'll get better. But overall the heat and no shade wiped us out. Also, to note: no early check-in or late checkouts during summer. You'll be turned away, or priced for an extra night. read more

The Goods *This park is super affordable and easy to book online *Animal friendly *so many kid activities like they didn't cheap out at all! *very clean loving the clean bathrooms *Staff are helpful * lines for water slides weren't bad at Al I did go during the week *clean area sights The Bads * Reduction for 1 star because it's super annoying and very upsetting the biggest problem I had was checking in. Ok remember I'm from Vegas a single mother with a 8 yr old ok. Now when you first check in you approach the park and you see the little check in booth like you see in every campsite. Theres no one in the box and the park is very modern looking so you really can't figure out where's check in?! There's no one around, no one pickups the phone and it's 4-5pm on a Wednesday. I'm trying to figure out the tent sights finally I see someone! I ask her where is the ranger check in and she points behind her what looks like a long building that a little shop. Well ok I thought where the hell is the person in the box to direct me here I'm wondering and why not a bigger sign saying ranger station checkin here in big letters? Or in the box put a picture saying go down to ranger station it will be on your right show building picture? The little box looks like an abandoned lottery ticket sales booth. Maybe have more staff walking the property I got lucky saw 1 staff member after I circled the park twice! * As always make sure you don't forget your graham crackers because with tax it was around $8! And $4 for a Hershey regular candy bar. Ice water you think be free nope it be $1.58! How is it Starbucks gives you a free water here nope it's wild because you think that would be included drinking water to stay hydrated but ok I'll pay it to fill up my Stanley thermos. * Children life vest for the pool area, ok this one another star reduction! My child is 8 skinny little boy he is. And he fits the CHILD VEST.Well it's very surprising they let you take as you please these life vest in all sizes. However the child size most popular size I imagine that's why there all messed up in the front of the vest you can't tell until your kid gets in the water. What I mean is you know how a life vest has two part in the front a chest plate in each side. Well one side of the vest right around the rib cage it's like some cut the foam in thin side horizontal so it's a piece that floats up by your kiddos face. So most children vest need to be replaced as there inside pad/lining is deteriorating and is balling up or just feels like a squishy foam. I tried putting him in a bigger size but bigger sizes will pop off because they don't got the underneath leash buckle. So lastly the hot tubs at the water zone park area there's 2 hot tubs there spacious but this is a child park these hot tubs are the hottest I mean the hottest hot tubs I ever felt and I come from Vegas where I been in so many in the casino resorts. The hot tubs are scaulding hot im just wondering hot tubs aren't the best for little children but I seen moms with 2 years in there it was such a shock. My son dipped his foot screamed it's hot! But how can they let unsupervised children in a cooking soup pot I'm wondering?! **Tent sights are nice but at night it's very bright because the bathroom lights that are right next to you. *Lastly I will say there needs to be a stop sign guard yard duty out side to monitor traffic you have giant I mean giant RVs with huge huge trucks pulling these beast and check in like I said is the building where the round about is where you got little ones on electric scooters bikes skateboards and most of them aren't accompany by a parent. These large vehicles can't see over their dash boards and I almost was ran over by a huge truck pulling a freaking house. I'm a short lady that's 4'9 ok it was very scary. But come on you have like 5 cleaners in the house keeping little box near the bathrooms twiddling their thumbs and you can't get a yard duty stop sign guard lady because these kids don't have their parents looking after them. The jump pad has no one monitoring the children as well as I see big kids doing back flips as little ones are right beneath them jumping. The jump mat says no flips but you really think kids are going to listen you got two life guards in the water park but no other reenforces around the pavement/park area ground like I said a alot of kids are not accompanied by there parents or simply don't want to parent. I won't reduce any more stars because I found it enjoyable the price for tent was good regardless of these little tid bits I know now for next time right. So I'll update it once I go back and see if they changed certain things. But I feel like my points are valid. *tip If you camping in a tent bring ear plugs as your close to your neighbors that you can hear them snore. Ask about your parking as it is confusing for the tents. Oh there's only 2 tent spots available like in the whole park. read more

Wow, that is all I can say! Wow! This park was SO cool! Very clean, very safe, tons to do everywhere you look. From a floating obstacle course on a lake to a really cool water park with a lazy river, air filled bounce pads, large playgrounds, concrete cornhole, rope toss, ping pong, gold mining, drive your ATV straight out of the park to Sand Hollow and so much more. DO NOT BUY GROUPON. We had purchased 3 cabanas and 25 combo tickets through the park. 3 people in our group purchased a Groupon and only after purchasing did it say they can't be used for the day we are going. The waterpark would do nothing for us told us to talk to Groupon. Jellystone employees lied to us saying other people had been refunded today and Groupon would not refund us. Sad the park had no solutions for us when we were spending thousands for our group there that day. We had to purchase additional tickets for our party to join that day with no way to use our Groupon tickets because we like in Ca. read more

Ok all my fellow Yelpers and fun seekers, this is the spot. This place is amazing fun filled adventures with lots of stuff to do especially for the kids or just the adults. They have RV spots, cabins, tent spots, day use villas. We spent three days in our large rv and let me tell you something for the price and free things to do was the best mini vacation getaways. A very special shout out to the Park Employee Fransisco who went out of his way to show the best guest service showing us the cabins. This is not only a water park, adventure park with rope obstacles but has off road excursions. The food here is amazing and inexpensive and with Walmart only a mile away makes super convenient. read more

We had an amazing stay! We stayed in the YOGI bear cabin and it was perfect for our family. spacious, clean, and well stocked with a full kitchen making cooking a breeze. This has been fantastic! One person went above and beyond! KRYSTAL! One of our AC went out on our RV! In it rush to fix it - the two adults left the kids by the water and rushed away! during that 10 mins time- weather forced the water park to close! KRYSTAL (staff) gathered out 5 special needs kiddos, calmed them down, gently reminded us not to leave them! And the kids?? They kept saying how NICE and KIND she was! This is the kind of park you want to come too - even if you make a mistake-- your family is safe!!!! All the staff is helpful, treated us well! Answered all our newbie questions! This water park does not have oversize parking. We enjoyed riding our rzr out in sand hollow and we wanted to hit the water park to cool off before heading back to Vegas. We came with our truck and trailer and were told there's no where for us to park that we could park out on the street but that it was at our own risk. We refunded our water park passes and left. Leave your trailers and oversized vehicles at home If you want to enjoy this water park. There is nowhere close at all to park and walk back to the park. read more

Jellystone MONEY PIT-- get ready to be nickel and dimed to death (and not appreciated as a paying customer) We spent $880 to stay in one of their cabins for two nights on weekdays. We were required to check out of a 2-Bdr cabin by 10 AM. That's pretty early to get everything out after a two-night stay. We made it out before 10:30 AM. I spoke to the front desk in the main office to make sure no issues with that and where we parked away from the cabin; they said "no problem." Then I got a bill for $62 for the late departure!! Spoke to Heather, Operations Mngr several days later, and she refused to refund this or the other $5 charge that was not identified! No grace whatsoever for paying customers?? Unbelievable. Also, if you want to bring in a cooler to the pool area, that'll be $15. More than two feet long? That'll be $30. And no ins-and-outs!! No no. And, get ready to pay a significant mark-up on any snacks, drinks, or anything you want from their store. Better off going to Maverick or Walmart down the way. This place is a money pit. We were on a two-week road trip through the Southwest. We stayed at 9 different places on the trip--B&B's, regular hotels, and a resort in Havasu. None of them required a 10 AM checkout; most were 11 and they extended if we needed it. None charged us for arbitrary crap like this place. We are extremely disappointed with Jellystone. read more

We were so excited to check out Jellystone Park. Their ads has been popping up on my social media, and I told my husband this is where we should spend our six year olds birthday weekend. We just came back this weekend. Their hours are from 11am-7pm, and they're open for the season until September 30th. So to enjoy the water park you could either stay in one of their cabins or RV site, and I believe it's an additional $10 per person with your reservation, or you could do a day pass which is $29.99 for locals, and $39.99 for non-locals. Children three and under are free. There are cabanas you could rent for $75, but they do have tons of lounging chairs through out the park. It was 100 degrees out, so you're going to want all the shade that they could give. So hopefully they could add more shades/umbrellas in the future, because you can't enjoy being out of the pool unless you're under a cabana. We love their splash pad area. My kids stayed there the majority of our visit. They have multiple slides safe enough for little kids, but big enough for parents to ride it with them. Their lazy river isn't too big, and it was a bit too slow. Another customer even told my husband they really emphasized the LAZY in lazy river. Lol Theres a couple of food/ice cream trucks to choose from if you're feeling hungry. There is a sign that no outside food/ drinks are aloud. My husband and I were a bit thrown off with the workers in their checkin/register area. We went to the front to ask one of the employees about their glow party I've heard about. The employee was clearly on his phone. He just gave me a blank stare, so I had to ask him my question again. Same reaction. Blank stare. No, "Let me go find out for you, or let me see if I could get you some help." So I looked at one of his colleagues for an answer, and she pointed out to look at their flyer that was taped on the front desk for all the events happening there. Then the guy just proceeds to go back on his phone. I understand that they've only been open for two months, but customer service is a big thing when you're going to have to interact with people through out your work day. We went here after visiting Jellystone in CA a couple years ago. Their kids play areas, pickleball and basketball courts were great! Water park areas were a bit small but still fun for the kid. They could use some lights around the pillow jump area at night but that's a small thing. Big shoutout to the reservations manager. We had booked a year and a half prior and our site we chose was moved (due to the site programming changing hands between the time we booked and the time we stayed) and after some discussion they were able to get us a site that we felt comfortable with on a very busy weekend. Note to future campers. Pay the extra fee to keep the spot you booked. Or they will move you to a crummy one. All in all we had a great time for our spring break and will recommend to friends. read more

Camped here for a couple of days at the beginning of June. Temps. we're 100 degrees, so we really enjoyed the Lazy river! Great for adults & kids! The cabanas are pricey for what you get - (they should provide a fan or optional light misting), but we did splurge on one for 1 day to make certain we had shade. The staff are super nice, friendly, and very safety-oriented. It's hot to walk from your campsite to the water park, but they allow you to bring in as much water as you need. We didn't have a problem finding a chair, but I'm sure this place gets busy as the summer goes on. Suggestions for the water park: a water bottle refilling station, so we can stay hydrated! More bathrooms around the park - RV & water park, and a grassy dog reast area on the far side of the RV park. (The pavement and rocks are too hot for the dogs to walk on during the day.) The park is new and maybe they're still figuring this all out. Once the trees grow up, there will be some nice shady spots. Overall, nice place to stop and fun place for our group to gather. read more

If you're in an RV, this is probably a good vacation spot. Renting one of their cabins is another story. No dishwasher, no oven, they refuse to allow guests to use the towels that they supply at their own water park so you have to bring your own, they limit the number of clean towels and washcloths that they will supply to their cabins so that you're forced to either reuse them or pay to wash them, the appliances that are provided only work part of the time, and the cabins are poorly constructed. The views are beautiful in the area, but if you're not in a fully stocked RV, it would probably be better to just stay elsewhere. read more

Jellystone is one of the greatest examples of predatory business I can think of. 15$ for day parking in an area that is basically rural and parking abounds everywhere. When people started parking on the road, they added no parking signs everywhere to force people to pay their fees. 40$ for day pass is absurd for 5 slides and a lazy river. Splash summit for example which is 10x the park is 25$/day. They charge 1.50$ for water in a cup. This is just one example of the complete petty nature of this business. They have no respect for their own patrons. If you're so worried about a cup of water, include it your already exorbitant pricing. I mean any other restaurant or business in this state you can get a cup of water, but not at jellystone without opening the wallet. I don't know how they have not had deaths yet in their wibit area. They don't assist with life jackets with children. I saw multiple people plus my own kid whose life jacket was coming off the top of their head. One child while I was there swam around the whole area with no life jacket on and staff were laughing about it. Zero safety awareness in this area. Don't waste your time on this park. They have zero concern for anything but profit. I can only pray for their demise. read more

We planned a family camping weekend in October. The staff was amazing they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. One of the sites we reserved had someone already set up. These people weren't registered. The staff called and left them messages. They drove us around to find new sites. We definitely will go back. read more

I liked the water park and Booboo cabin. The cabin was a blessing dealing with afternoon heat. I only have a few complaints, I have.never seen a large campground with such few bathroom stalls. I saw a man sitting in a chair reading a book waiting to use the stall. I talked to another gentlemen who had been waiting half hour. By the evening the bathroom was . My other complaint, I never found an outside sink for campers to wash dishes. This is one issue I had, the camp store. There is no designated register to pay for drinks etc. When you have large groups of people waiting to pay to use the Waterpark, well your just stuck with the group. I realize they are new and these are just suggestions that I feel would help the experience. Yes I would visit again but not for some time.​ read more

Very nice campground! Was very clean. Staff was polite. Has a lot of potential with some changes. People who are camping should be able to have more time in the water area. Slides should open around 10 am and close at 8pm during the summer . There definitely needs to be more shade. We loved our stay and would definitely come back again! read more

Loved this place! We had an absolute blast here and have already booked for next year! My only issue: we rented a cabana for $120. It has a cooler in there for your use which is awesome. However, you still have to pay the additional $15 cooler fee to bring your food in? All food has to be in a cooler to come into the park per their rules, so even though there is a cooler waiting for me in my cabana, I still have to bring my own in at a cost of $15. Seems a bit silly and cheap and not well thought out. But other than that, it was a great time! read more

My family recieved season passes for the 2025 season. This past weekend on our visit, I was disappointed in the lack of communication and transparency. We have gone multiple times this season and had zero problems with bringing in a small bag with waters and snacks. Apparently this policy changes with the wind. Being charged $15.99 for a cooler pass, and parking for a sub-par pool was disappointing. I would rather spend this kind of money at Cowabunga Bay in Las Vegas. To be honest, the Washington County Recreation Center in Saint George is better, and has better customer service. read more
