    Kids in pool with crawdad

We live in Las Vegas and my kids will not let a summer go by without coming here! The staff is so friendly, the food is so good. The pool is massive with fun things for the kids to find on tiles. And the stream below is my boys's favorite. They can go down and spend hours catching crawdads and exploring. Seriously our funnest summer tradition. Thank you veyo Pool resorts and staff!

Such a nice place. We climbed, swam and caught some crawdads. Perfect day! Routes are fun and well protected. The pool is clean and inviting. The corndogs were really good too!

We absolutely love this place. It's such a throwback to old school community pool fun. Such a gorgeous unique setting and lots to do for the kids! My boys have loved coming here. Can't wait to go back!

We are incredibly frustrated with this place. Five of us drove over an hour to get there because we got a coupon for a free "all day access pass" that said it was good for "one group/family". However, we were informed that the coupon was a mistake and it wasn't supposed to say that, but they wouldn't honor their coupon. Not only would they not honor the coupon, but they were actually really rude and disrespectful about the whole thing. We asked if we could speak to a manager, and a person named Emma came to the window and was significantly more rude about it. She held up the paper and said we were just misreading it (even though the other person specifically said that that ad had been a misprint) and proceeded to point out the words one at a time to "help us understand". Seriously? We've seen other reviews that say the same thing as what happened to us and talked to other people who had the same issue afterwards. If so many people are "misreading" your coupon, maybe you should have done a better job at explaining what it's good for. It does NOT explicitly state that it's only good for one person, nor is it easy to infer that that's what it is meaning based only on your on-site signage or website. (I've included photos of the coupon from another person's review who had the same issue because mine got thrown away.) We are pretty bummed because it's normally $16 per person for the day which is really expensive for what they offer. A pool with absolutely no shade and a spot to catch Crawdads in the river? We can just go downstream and catch them anyway without needing to pay for it. This part isn't necessarily a bad thing, but just so other people know, the parking was really limited (although this would depend on how busy it is when you go) and there's a pretty steep paved road that you have to go down to get to the pool (which means you also need to climb back up). But the location does make it a little tough to set it up in any better way. If the opportunity had ever come up, we probably would have tried to go again but there's no way I'll be giving them any business after the way we were treated. Thanks for the crappy experience and dishonesty.

I feel the cleaning staff did a much better job this time and the golf course was finally open. Sadly the golf course still has a lot of issues to work on, in spite of being "finished" for over a year. The golf course itself failed to deliver the same high end service experience the Inn did, and the course also still looked very much under construction. I keep hearing that Black Desert Resort is much better for golf, which is a shame because I know when they open up their accommodations, it will take business away from this lovely Inn. As I understand it, Black Desert Resort will offer a lower green fee for guests at their resort. I really do hope the golf course at Entrada works on some of its shortcomings; combined with the Inn it literally would be the perfect getaway. The Inn on its own is completely fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again; the only problem is I have a husband who plays golf, so that is also a huge consideration for our vacations. The two staff members who stood out on our visit was Lisa and Russ, both of them ensured we had a fantastic visit at the Inn! When we checked in, we were even greeted with a bag of caramel popcorn (what a nice touch). The room is spacious, and the view is gorgeous. We love the fireplace, and the jetted bathtub is fantastic after a day of playing golf. The little kitchenette was so helpful, it came complete with dishes, a mini fridge, sink and microwave. I still do think the units could use a little of an update and refresh, but they are still charming in their own way. The location is great as we were close to Snow Canyon National Park and Santa Clara, both of which we love! Checkout was a breeze and our stay overall at the Inn was top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Inn again, or recommend it to others. If you're looking to play golf here, I have my hesitations (see that review on "Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club").

While it's not right at the park entrance, it is a truly unique resort and absolutely worth the extra few minutes of driving. They offer a variety of cool accommodations, including glamping tents, tiny houses, and covered wagons. We chose to stay in a wagon, and despite the weather throwing 40-degree temperatures and high winds at us, it was incredibly warm and cozy inside. The wagon is exceptionally well thought out and equipped with a queen-size bed and a bunk bed, easily fitting a family of four. It also featured plenty of lights, outlets, a handy towel basket, and excellent AC/heating. The only downside of such a cold night was having to make the walk down the hill to the private bathrooms. However, the silver lining was getting to look up at an absolutely amazing night sky filled with millions of stars! For added convenience, there is an on-site coffee shop that sells breakfast items and sandwiches. In the evenings, they light up cozy campfires, and if you happen to visit on a warmer day, you can enjoy the beautiful pool and jacuzzi. This time, I decided to stay at Mesquite, NV which is about 40 miles south of St. George or about 80 miles north of Las Vegas. Hotwire led me here as I like surprise:XD Upon walking in the lobby, my first impression was...is this the retirement home!? the interior has that old fashioned style, wide hallway with tiles instead carpet on the first floor, a library...etc I got suite #210, which is exactly like a one bedroom apartment with full sized kitchen, dining table, living room, bed room, walking in closet and a full sized bath. It's spacious! I assume this property was designed for assistant living and later changed to a hotel. It's freaking hot in Mesquite, NV even after the sun goes down. The air was still hot like inside the oven. The ac worked really well and of course this place is very quiet. The next morning, after checking out, I was on the way heading home. While pulling onto the 15 freeway I all the sudden remembered I left my charging cable in the room! Drove back from the next freeway exit, I told the front desk lady and she immediately made me a key to go up to the room to retrieve my cable. When I got there, the housekeeper was already outside and handed me my cable. If you are not looking for anything fancy, modern and elaborate, this is a good place! For clean, classic and awesome rate, I can see myself coming back for another good night sleep:) P.s there's no charging port on the bedside table, I had to unplug the alarm clock and that's how I forgot my cable :XD
