A very luxurious and private resort with unbelievable views right from your porch. We just got back and I realized I've never reviewed this place. Gatekeeping? Definitely not intentional as they deserve every bit of praise. We've been coming here for about eight years and we absolutely love it. The suites feel like your own condo. Private entrances and garage, patio, fireplace, jetted tub, and completely unobstructed views of Snow Canyons cliffs. The property is a private, gated club with a guard who checks you in during your stay. Amenities include a pool, hot tub, spa, gym, yoga, pilates, onsite dining, kitchenette, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, basketball courts, 18-hole golf course, and beautiful walking paths. The entire neighborhood is gorgeous and is impeccably maintained. It's located in Ivins, about eight miles from downtown St. George and just five miles from Snow Canyon State Park. There's also a great grocery store named Harmon's about two miles away, perfect for stocking your fridge. With just over 60 rooms, the resort feels more like a boutique retreat than a commercial hotel. Every visit inspires me to stay off my phone and that's always a good thing. This was our second stay at the Inn at Entrada, and quite frankly it was even better than last time! I feel the cleaning staff did a much better job this time and the golf course was finally open. Sadly the golf course still has a lot of issues to work on, in spite of being "finished" for over a year. The golf course itself failed to deliver the same high end service experience the Inn did, and the course also still looked very much under construction. I keep hearing that Black Desert Resort is much better for golf, which is a shame because I know when they open up their accommodations, it will take business away from this lovely Inn. As I understand it, Black Desert Resort will offer a lower green fee for guests at their resort. I really do hope the golf course at Entrada works on some of its shortcomings; combined with the Inn it literally would be the perfect getaway. The Inn on its own is completely fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again; the only problem is I have a husband who plays golf, so that is also a huge consideration for our vacations. The two staff members who stood out on our visit was Lisa and Russ, both of them ensured we had a fantastic visit at the Inn! When we checked in, we were even greeted with a bag of caramel popcorn (what a nice touch). The room is spacious, and the view is gorgeous. We love the fireplace, and the jetted bathtub is fantastic after a day of playing golf. The little kitchenette was so helpful, it came complete with dishes, a mini fridge, sink and microwave. I still do think the units could use a little of an update and refresh, but they are still charming in their own way. The location is great as we were close to Snow Canyon National Park and Santa Clara, both of which we love! Checkout was a breeze and our stay overall at the Inn was top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Inn again, or recommend it to others. I have been coming here for the past 6 years to get away from the hectic pace of Las Vegas. It's only a 2 hr drive but it seems like you're in a magical place! The casitas are well maintained and the Inn is continually updating the accommodations. While I don't golf I prefer the casitas with the golf course view as I really enjoy the babbling brook that passes by all the casitas. However I have also stayed at casitas without a golf course view and they also offer a scenic view but with limited scope. All beautiful and well appointed. I love to cook and enjoy the peace & quiet here plus its quick access to nature. From here you are within a 3 hour drive of the major southern Utah & northern AZ parks. Nearby is Snow Canyon state park ($10) with great lava fields/tubes, petrified dunes plus the locally famous Scout cave! Also the city of St George is fun to explore as well! I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. Despite paying a HIGH premium for the overnight stay with access to the amenities "included", I was unpleasantly surprised to find that I was denied access because of my status. "Danny," who supervises the courts, treated us with a clear class bias. The website promised access to the amenities with the reservation. I took an extra step to confirm with the staff before booking and at check-in. However, when my husband and I went to the courts, we were told that "members" had priority and he would have to seek management approval for us to be able to play at empty courts, pay extra fees, but we would get kicked out in the middle of our session should a "member" show up at any time. Our experience was overshadowed by hidden rules and fees, and the staff's behavior was discriminatory. If you're considering this hotel for its amenities, be prepared for an unenjoyable and inaccessible experience. read more

This was a short vacay away (only a 2 hour drive from Vegas) but it was just what we needed. It was so easy to access and get to and yet it seemed hidden at the same time. There is a nice security gate that you have to show your parking pass or prove reservations in order to get in. Everything inside is within walking distance: golf course, snack bar, office, pool, tennis and squash courts, basketball and volleyball, Rec center. Each unit has its own single car garage and driveway. We also had a front yard that wrapped around to the backyard which was shared with a neighboring unit. Our yard was blessed with red rock along the side, patch of grass, and a frog pond and waterfall. Our unit was a one room suite with an almost fully stocked kitchen and jacuzzi tub. Everything is button automated green/red light labeled consoles. The living room and the bathroom each had a fireplace. There were giant automated shades for the great room/kitchen which was really nice. The reason I said almost fully stocked kitchen, is that we bought a frozen pizza to bake in the oven...and there were no oven mitts! I had to use a hand towel from the bathroom. But it had dishes, glasses, pots, pans, utensils, and even coffee, tea, hot cocoa, as well as dish washing pods for the dishwasher. At the concierge building they have free bicycle rentals, cinnamon rolls in the morning, granola bars, oatmeal, water, juice, coffee, tea, cocoa, and fresh baked cookies in the PM. The pool and Rec center had a water center (stay hydrated) and towel service. They had plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. There was a hot tub that is in a raised and more private area, not attached to the pool. A 2 foot toddler pool is attached to the pool with a waterfall. In the deep end of the pool is a little grotto with a waterfall flowing overhead. Snow Canyon was only 7 minutes away and you can get yourself to St. George in 15-20 minutes. It was truly a beautiful escape and it was a great expression of the Utah landscape and that small town feel. read more

How could I not fall in love with Utah when this place exist & it's about 30/45 mins away from Zion National Park!? On New Year's Day 2016, I was fortunate enough to call this place my home for the weekend! The entire property is intriguing and spacious. I am a city girl and too much of the countryside can make me homesick, however this place grew on me from the very beginning. It's very private and it has a warm home feel. The suite that I stayed in had two rooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, an enormous backyard, front yard, garage, & large living room. It was very impressive! The ceiling has sunroofs scattered all throughout that gave natural light in the day time. It was even more beautiful when the sun was just peeking through the horizon. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower & tub. There is also a fireplace and a patio door that leads into the front yard. The kitchen has a coffee maker, stove, dishwasher, a fridge & kitchen necessities! There were forks & knives, pots & pans, all the basic needs for a kitchen. It was so awesome! I just bought groceries for the weekend and cooked my meals. It saved me a lot of money on food, not to mention I ate what I liked and it was healthy! They provide Wifi through the suite, but it can be a little slow at times. Also, there is a pretty good selection of channels! My stay at this place will be one I will remember! I had such a great experience and it was an amazing temporary home for a first time visitor of Utah! Cons: Front Desk doesn't always answer calls. The Inn at Entrada is all that and so much more. It's not just a place you stay overnight, but an experience. Our studio casita felt like an apartment with our own garage. Upon entering, the view will take your breath away. The floor to ceiling windows highlighted the gorgeous view from our patio. Our king-size bed, leather lounge chair, and fireplace just added more to our accommodation. The dimming lights throughout the room makes you want to go home and upgrade your home lighting. When you finally go around to check out the bathroom, the separate glass shower and jacuzzi will make you giggle with glee. They not only provided robes, but Aveda toiletries to make your stay even that more welcome. Our casita also included a small refrigerator complete with a bucket of ice and since we had arrived in the evening, our milk and cookies awaited us. (There's a microwave too should you wish to warm your cookies!) Starbucks coffee and hot chocolate and Tazo tea are available at your disposable too! Opening up the cupboards, you'll find a blender, utensils, plates, glasses, etc., pretty much anything to help make your stay that much more pleasant. (And if you must work, high speed Internet is free!) The Inn at Entrada currently offers 40 private casitas ranging from studios to three bedrooms. (They are building more as I write!) Guests have access to the golf course at Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club and the sports and fitness center. They also offer adventure packages that include zip lines, mountain biking, spa services, tennis lessons, rock climbing, canyoneering, yoga, and so much more! Part of the clubhouse is the Kokopelli Grill where two Cordon Bleu Chefs offer lunch and dinner specials. I wish we had arrived earlier so we could have utilized the facilities of the Inn more and I definitely wish we had time to dine at the restaurant. Come as early and stay as long as you can! Keep in mind that if your bedroom faces the east side, the early morning sun can shine pretty brightly into your room (even with the shades drawn). However, staying in #301, we had the bubbling creek just outside our bedroom and it was so serene. What a treat it is to stay here, located inside the gated golf course community Entrada it has all the amenities you could possibly desire. The connecting houses have attached garages and daily room service. For our family we had both sides of one of their units, this had a gigantic master/studio suite connecting to another two bedroom suite with a gigantic kitchen and family room. We had our extended family join us during the day for the World Cup finals so we were 17 people total and the combined units felt spacious even with that many people. On the property are tennis, basket ball, beach volley ball courts giving us plenty to do during the day. In addition to their outdoor courts there is a physical fitness center with a weigh room, workout equipment, an indoor pool as well as a huge outdoor pool with spa. No one in our group was bored with so many thing to do. There also is the Entrada golf course and club house if you get bored here ar the Inn. What a great family vacation, FIVE STARS !!! read more

It really doesn't get better then staying in a luxury home with the views of the Red Vermilion cliffs. This was one place you'll have a hard time saying goodbye to. The home we stayed in had three bedrooms, three bathrooms, three fire places (great things come in threes), a living room, dining room, and kitchen. We had three sitting areas to choose from on our patio. One was in front and two were in the back. Now my husband and I slept in the luxury studio and our children were in the luxury condo with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. The door opens up from the luxury studio to the luxury condo so it becomes one luxury home. Both the studio and the condo have a jetted bathtub. There is a washer and dryer in the studio which is very convenient if your on a road trip. They also have an outdoor pool and a indoor pool. It was too cold to enjoy the outdoor pool but the indoor pool was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. You can borrow one of their bikes and cycle around the community. They have a fitness center that you could use. You can play tennis here as well. You could even pamper yourself to a spa treatment. I can't wait to come back to The Inn at Entrada in the near future. read more

The Inn at Entrada is one of those places you simply get lost in its serenity. This is a gated community with a majority of its space in beautiful residences. The inn however is a lane filled with casitas you can rent. Every casita has its own garage, patio with dining, and a beautiful view of the golf course or water features. We rented the studio, and it was beautifully furnished and clean. It had a mini fridge, microwave and sink. Bathroom was my favorite part with a skylight, two sinks, a jetted tub (that could probably fit 4) and a huge stone shower. Perfect space for two and extremely romantic. The grounds were sensational, and create an environment where you don't want to leave the property. There is a full size basketball court, sand volleyball, pickelball courts, tennis courts, state of the art fitness center and beautiful indoor and outdoor pools. Don't forget the clubhouse down the way, where there is a beautiful restaurant & an unbelievable golf course. All the homeowners are so friendly cruising around on their golf carts in paradise Our only issue was the friendliness of the staff. Check in was easy, but done without any friendliness. Check out, the staff was much nicer so that was good. The other facilities (work out, restaurant) the employees were just plain snooty. Seemed they were bothered if you weren't an owner in the community. However, don't let that discourage you. As a guest at the Inn, you have access to all the amenities. The Inn at Entrada is one of those places that truly combines the beauty of Utah scenery with an amazing, relaxing experience, and immerses you in luxury, comfort and convenience at what is a surprisingly reasonable price point for such a phenomenal resort. This will definitely be my go to place from now on anytime I am visiting Saint George. I took my wife here for her 40th, and it was done at the last minute because we're both busy business professionals for whom trip planning can sometimes be a challenge, and the Inn ended up my pick in many respects because it was one of the few places available still, and sure it looked great in pictures and reviews, but didn't know just how much we would love it until we got there. Saint George and Southern Utah in general are just beautiful anyway, but these casitas (condo style small houses) in a gated community built around a golf course are simply amazing and our experience was nothing short of amazing and we now plan to do a longer trip to the area and stay here again. First of all, our casita was big and spacious, with a huge kitchen and living area, it made it feel like home from home, and it was clean and well taken care of too. The bedroom and bathroom were phenomenal too, and everything just seems to be so well designed to make you feel comfortable and at home. Sitting outside looking at the scenery across the golf course is amazing and puts you so at rest. These casitas have private garages too and a nice little patio area out front. And I love the automation built into the lighting, shades, fans etc. that let you pick a mood and it does the rest. Even as a technology professional I found that cool, but it just makes everything so simple and relaxing. The kitchen had everything you could ever need, and while we really didn't use that for more than a few basic things, having all those facilities is awesome, especially when you consider you can pay more than this at hotels in Saint George that are no where near as luxurious. The swimming pool is great too, and the service we received from the staff was good too, we were even able to arrange a couples massage for my wife and I right in our room even though generally you have to go to the spa, and the masseuses they sent were great. The restaurant here is really top notch as well, though be aware it closes fairly early (9pm) but it's a good place to relax, eat some good food and have some drinks. Service was super friendly and helpful. Mostly though, it's an awesome base camp for all the other fun and amazing things you can do around Saint George and the many nearby National Parks. This is right by Snow Canyon which we visited on this trip and it is phenomenal and definitely worth spending a few hours exploring and doing some hiking, and Zions is not far from here too. read more

I went straight to Yelp to help me find a hotel in St. George - we had never been there and I was relying solely on you Yelpers to help me out. WOW! We were not disappointed. In fact, we kept saying we plan on returning to spend a few days! The room was cozy and just...special! Fireplace, cozy, nice decor... our room looked out on a little pond and a GORGEOUS view. The lobby was welcoming and the receptionist was friendly. We checked in at night (and it is DARK at night because they don't allow streetlights), but we could tell how beautiful the place was even in the dark. There is a huge jet tub and very nice shower in the large bathroom. If you are searching blindly for a place to stay, your search should end here! Oh, the restaurant was wonderful as well. This was a last minute decision and we took a room based on the high rating. Firstly all the buildings look alike and finding our room was a bit of a challenge. The room itself was really spacious but the interior design was not too my liking. Seems to be in need of some updating. Also the bathtub took forever to drain and the toiletries were not worth taking. They did not have room service and the burger in the club house was just ok. Beautiful resort setting. The views from our 2 bedroom were stunning. We absolutely cannot wait to return. Do note, the golf course is under construction. This did not inconvenience us at all, as we do not golf. But if you are going for the golfing you may want to wait. Few tips: The spa is small - you need to plan ahead of your visit if you want services. Call the resort if you cannot book what you want online. Cancellations and changes are not always up to date and if you can't find what you want online the front desk may be able to help. They did in our case, online showed no availability but when I called there was a cancellation. If you are going with teens, bring a copy of High School Musical 2 to watch on the DVD player one night, we did and it was so much fun to watch with our daughter and see the sights around the resort on the movie! Zion is close by, but you cannot drive thru the canyon road anymore, it's only shuttle buses. But you can drive on Highway 87 and it is beautiful. If you have a chance to stay at Entrada, do it! Lovely resort, friendly people and views for miles. We can't wait to return. read more

This property is beautiful and stunning. Very serene. I surprised my husband with a trip to Utah for his birthday and he was in awe of this property. Front desk staff and club house staff are nice. They serve cinnamon buns every morning with juices, coffee, and granola bars. The turn down service they come and leave cookies and water in your unit and dim the light. We had such a great time during our stay. It's definitely on the top of our list. We had a slight problem upon arrival with the cleanliness of our unit but manager took care of us. Sitting out on the deck of my beautiful casita at Inn at Entrada, sipping coffee, watching the sunrise, while listening to the waterfalls. What's not to love about this place. We are surrounded by spectacular red rocks and the experience is so peaceful and serene. If you are a runner there are plenty of trails on the road along the Inn to get your miles in. I prefer hiking/walking and spent each morning walking around this gorgeous place. At night we did a sunset hike. Our casita was absolutely clean, furnished beautifully, the bed so comfy, large room/bathroom/kitchen area. Beautiful golf course if you are a golfer. Next time I'd grab more healthy snacks, cream for coffee, wine, etc from the grocery store before checking in. There are cookies in the room, plenty of coffee packs, cocoa, etc. Office has DVDs, coffee, cinnamon rolls for guests. Our kitchen had plates, bowls, utensils, microwave, fridge, toaster, blender, wine glasses, cutting board can opener. Add in a $20/day resort fee, not sure what we got for that but I wish they'd just work it into the total price of the room. The fees are annoying. read more

Let me start of by saying that this is the 1st time I have ever wrote a review for a hotel, and I am a frequent traveler visiting 20-30 hotels a year. The room was what was expected for the price, Myself and my buddy stayed in a studio. We drove up from San Diego and stopped here for a night on the way to Denver specifically for the pool. When we checked in we were told the pool was closed (which was not advertised on the 3rd party site we booked from or the hotel website). -FALSE ADVERTISING- I little irked about the pool, but we moved on. I was told there was comment cards in the room. I found none, so upon checkout the next morning I asked the lady working the front desk if she had any comment cards as there were none in the room. She said we do no carry those at the front desk and the person who prints them is not here. So I continued with checking out. Upon her giving me my bill (which should have been $0 as I was already charged by Expedia) I had to explain to her that I had already paid and was not going to pay an addition $230.. to which she replied "oh my bad". 2 days late I noticed 2 charges for over $100 on my bank statement form the hotel. I called and asked to speak to a manger after the desk clerk explained to me that she could not help me with financial matters. No manager was available until 2 days later. I asked what the charges were for and she told me that "she doesn't know, there is no descriptor on the charge" I was promised a call back by the manager Karen Monday morning. The call never came. I called the hotel for a forth time and it was only after I treated to call the authorizes to report the hotel for fraudulent charges that I was given a managers phone number... 4 phone calls and 3 days later. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, false advertising, unprofessional / un trained staff / fraudulent charges for hundreds of dollars with no explanation. Nothing was offered to me to resolve the issue except a half-assed apology ... I would have turned down whatever they offered but it's the principle of the fact. when you pay $230 to stay 10 hours at a hotel you expect what you pay for and decent customer service. read more

I am absolutely in love with this place!! By far, the most beautiful resort I have stayed at! The casitas have a private garage, patio with amazing views, jacuzzi in your bathroom, and what not!! The photos of this place do not do justice to the actual beauty of it.. surrounded by red mountains and lush green golf lawns this place is incomparable!! Everyone at the office is always smiling , helpful and ever- ready to accommodate your needs. Shelby was just amazing, and accommodated all my special requests!! They even had gifts , awaiting in our casitas the night we arrived!!Thanks a lot to everyone at the office, for giving us the best 4 days at St. George!! Cannot forget about the yummy freshly baked cinnamon rolls they have at the office, and the freshly baked cookies they left at our casitas on our arrival. We are staying at the Inn here and thought we would try the grill because it was close. Apparently if you aren't "members" as were were asked that multiple times you get the bad seats. Which for us was right in front of the singer. We couldn't hear our selves think. We ordered 2 appetizers and 1 came out with our dinner and they never brought out the other one. The food and the staff were very underwhelming. I wouldn't eat here. read more

We loved our stay at the Inn at Entrada. Scenery around the units is fabulously gorgeous, the facility is magnificent, the service friendly and professional. One beef we had which did not dampen our enjoyment of the place was that the promised Wi-Fi never worked in our unit. We attempted several times to get it fixed but that never happened, and I suspect that at least for the unit we were in, it rarely, if ever, works. Wi-fi was available at the main office. We wish we could have stayed longer in this beautiful and restful spot. We got just enough of a taste to imagine that we will soon return. How could I forget those delicious cinnamon rolls served each morning? Yum!! read more
