Service and bartender were great. Watched the USA soccer game here in 2022. Food was solid. Calamari nothing special but for someone from NY was impressed by the pizza. Cool ambiance feels very Italian even while in PR

I remembered taking the pic after we dug in! This is half margherita and half veggie - both delish!

We have been coming here for over 20 years and they still make the best pizza!! If you like thin crust, New York style, you must try this place!

Great food! Had two meals there, both excellent. A nice, light Italian Hero for lunch and a chicken piccata for dinner. Excellent food, reasonable prices.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years. The service, food, and ambience makes it a great place to eat with family. The pizza here is very good. The chicharrones de pollo are a must - get them as an appetizer so you don't miss out. Although the pizza is the go-to here, the entries and daily specials are also very good. The chillo fish filet with white wine and mushroom sauce is one of the best I've had here. They have a comfortable parking area on the back of the restaurant. At night, they have free valet parking.

I've seen this place always packed and finally decided to give it a try. I sat on the patio which I highly recommend. Though they were packed and I had a slight wait the staff swiftly cleared tables. I got the Via Appia pizza which was good and the veggies were fresh and full of flavor. The baked lasagna was hot and cheesy, couldn't ask for it to be any better. Lastly the Ziti was full of flavor and also fresh. The restaurant is of course Italian themed with a wine wall showcasing its offerings.

One of my regular go-to places for lunch or dinner. I have been dining here regularly for over 3 years and the food is great, the service is great and the consistency of my experiences is great. I can't say enough about this staple neighborhood eatery with authentic NYC style Italian food and lively local ambiance. I highly recommend and if you're around on a Sunday evening you can pull up a stool to the energetic bar scene.

I was in town for a work trip and it was a Wednesday evening. Very convenient and close to Ashford where all the hotels are in the Condado area. It was pretty busy and there was a bar in there for anyone dining alone. I decided to take out so there is a hostess desk right when you walk in. I was greeted immediately and she took my order. I asked how long and she said 15 min. While I was waiting - I was offered a glass of ice to enjoy my bottled beverage I grabbed from the cooler. So I'm felt the service was pretty friendly from the few I interacted with. The restaurant is not fancy and the prices are reasonable especially for the amount of food you get. I asked if bread came with my meal since most Italian restaurants give you a bread basket to begin and she said yes. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. I got my food in less than 15 min and head back to my hotel to enjoy. Again, I got a lot of food for what I paid. The bread I was given was complimentary but it was garlic bread which i don't mind but wish I would've known so I could ask for plain. The spaghetti sauce was decent and the pasta good. The meatballs were just okay - they didn't see like fresh meatballs. Overall, the restaurant had a fun vibe - patio seating and indoor - very lively. The service was pretty friendly. The food is okay. I can't complain since the price was not bad!

Good pizza and drinks are waiting for you in this Condado area restaurant. We visited on a weekday evening, during a short vacation in February. Party of two were seated right away, on an outside table. We got our drinks within minutes and ordered pizza. It was great - not too thick or thin, just right. In Puerto Rico, it rains every day, and this was not the exception - luckily, although we were outside, the table umbrellas provided the necessary cover. Have not tried any deserts here but, if I am back in the area, I will check them out.

We met a bunch of friends here for pizza and drinks and had a great time. The server was friendly and he suggested the supreme pizza which tasted amazing--great tasting crust and fresh meaty toppings. The bread they provide is too airy and light. The pepperoni pizza was good but after a supreme slice, tasted too plain. They had Ultra Beer and I stuck to that. Sitting outside with family and friends eating good pizza and drinking beer is one good time.

We ordered a bottle of Fiano (a wine we really enjoy and was on the menu). They didn't have it. We settled for Chardonnay. It was good. We asked for bread. They didn't have any!!! (What? An Italian restaurant with no bread?) not a great start. Having said all that, the rest for our food was amazing! The arancini and the eggplant were exquisite. I ordered the steak (yeah I know) but it was amazing. The sauce, the potatoes. Just delicious. Our guests had the lasagna and my husband ordered the pizza. They were very satisfied with their meals. The ambiance is quaint. Old Italian. Clean. I would train servers to know what's available and what's not. Prevent from ordering and being disappointed. In addition, if you don't have bread and make pizza, you have bread. You can make it out of pizza dough in a pinch for those who ask. Italian red sauce without bread... it's a big miss. If your equipment is broken, buy the bread. I think they should have given us the dessert based on the misses. Nonetheless, the entrees were very good.

Since I didn't have a reservation, I was asked to write my first name and phone number in a log book, which I happily obliged to. She said, "We will call you once you see our number at 9 pm; for your reservation, please return." It was 7:57 pm, and i had plenty of shopping that I wanted to do; so, I happily agreed to 9 pm. Well, 9 pm never happened because i received no call or text. Maybe I'm too trusting, or it was assumed that, since I'm deaf, I couldn't afford to eat there. Whatever their excuse for not reaching out to me was, it was utterly disappointing, but life is full of disappointments, and I added them to my Yelp list. While Puerto Rico is part of the United States of America, I can't help but feel like the Deaf population here is likely to be taken as bottom-wage earners, so my above-mentioned impression is likely correct. As mentioned in past reviews, a majority of countries that I have visited, apart from most North American and European countries, treat their Deaf population as less than or subhuman, as if the ability to hear is connected to intelligence. These experiences make me appreciate living in the continental United States, where people like Marlee Matlin, Phyllis Frelich, and many others have kicked down doors so we can be seen as equals.

I asked if I could be seated in a different section of the restaurant, and even though they were packed, they said absolutely and found me a lovely seat in the bar area. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. I suffer from severe food allergies but wanted to experience their tasting menu. My server spoke to the chef directly and then took the time to walk me through every option. I TRULY appreciated that they did not take anything off the menu but rather told me how they could adjust for my allergies. That is very rare and so very much appreciated that they went that extra mile for me. I highly recommend the tasting menu. It's 5 courses and they give you 3 options to choose from, within each course. And for the price ($85), a great value. Everything was delicious but I highly recommend the Breadfruit Gnocchi, Rainbow Runner Crudo, and Criollo Duck Mofongo. Chefs kiss! What I also noticed was, even though they were insanely busy, they didn't make you feel rushed. The invited you to savor the experience - which I did. Next time you are in San Juan, make a reservation and go. You won't be disappointed!

The standout of the evening was the Criollo Duck Mofongo, which was absolutely exquisite and easily the best mofongo we had on our trip by far. The cocktails were tasty and unique, but a bit small for the price. This definitely isn't an every-night kind of restaurant...the prices are on the higher side.
