Service and bartender were great. Watched the USA soccer game here in 2022. Food was solid. Calamari nothing special but for someone from NY was impressed by the pizza. Cool ambiance feels very Italian even while in PR

I remembered taking the pic after we dug in! This is half margherita and half veggie - both delish!

We have been coming here for over 20 years and they still make the best pizza!! If you like thin crust, New York style, you must try this place!

Great food! Had two meals there, both excellent. A nice, light Italian Hero for lunch and a chicken piccata for dinner. Excellent food, reasonable prices.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years. The service, food, and ambience makes it a great place to eat with family. The pizza here is very good. The chicharrones de pollo are a must - get them as an appetizer so you don't miss out. Although the pizza is the go-to here, the entries and daily specials are also very good. The chillo fish filet with white wine and mushroom sauce is one of the best I've had here. They have a comfortable parking area on the back of the restaurant. At night, they have free valet parking.

I've seen this place always packed and finally decided to give it a try. I sat on the patio which I highly recommend. Though they were packed and I had a slight wait the staff swiftly cleared tables. I got the Via Appia pizza which was good and the veggies were fresh and full of flavor. The baked lasagna was hot and cheesy, couldn't ask for it to be any better. Lastly the Ziti was full of flavor and also fresh. The restaurant is of course Italian themed with a wine wall showcasing its offerings.

One of my regular go-to places for lunch or dinner. I have been dining here regularly for over 3 years and the food is great, the service is great and the consistency of my experiences is great. I can't say enough about this staple neighborhood eatery with authentic NYC style Italian food and lively local ambiance. I highly recommend and if you're around on a Sunday evening you can pull up a stool to the energetic bar scene.

I was in town for a work trip and it was a Wednesday evening. Very convenient and close to Ashford where all the hotels are in the Condado area. It was pretty busy and there was a bar in there for anyone dining alone. I decided to take out so there is a hostess desk right when you walk in. I was greeted immediately and she took my order. I asked how long and she said 15 min. While I was waiting - I was offered a glass of ice to enjoy my bottled beverage I grabbed from the cooler. So I'm felt the service was pretty friendly from the few I interacted with. The restaurant is not fancy and the prices are reasonable especially for the amount of food you get. I asked if bread came with my meal since most Italian restaurants give you a bread basket to begin and she said yes. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. I got my food in less than 15 min and head back to my hotel to enjoy. Again, I got a lot of food for what I paid. The bread I was given was complimentary but it was garlic bread which i don't mind but wish I would've known so I could ask for plain. The spaghetti sauce was decent and the pasta good. The meatballs were just okay - they didn't see like fresh meatballs. Overall, the restaurant had a fun vibe - patio seating and indoor - very lively. The service was pretty friendly. The food is okay. I can't complain since the price was not bad!

Good pizza and drinks are waiting for you in this Condado area restaurant. We visited on a weekday evening, during a short vacation in February. Party of two were seated right away, on an outside table. We got our drinks within minutes and ordered pizza. It was great - not too thick or thin, just right. In Puerto Rico, it rains every day, and this was not the exception - luckily, although we were outside, the table umbrellas provided the necessary cover. Have not tried any deserts here but, if I am back in the area, I will check them out.

They allowed us to order and take out. I had to give the security guard the phone to speak with the person taking the order inside for me to be allowed to grab our order when it was ready. Covid precautions of vaccines are very limited to those with a VAXX.

My partner and I enjoyed a vast selection of the April 2026 menu items. 6 small plates was plenty for us to split. We started with two rolls with some butter that was brought to the table before our appetizers. They were warm and fluffy but average. Next we had the grouper bites which came on little arepa bread. Probably not a "must-get" but a nice warm introduction. Next was the kampachi- the fish was really great but the sauce was a little thicker/heavier than expected. Then came the grilled prawns. This was our favorite dish! The prawns were large & well cooked. Sauce was extremely savory with great crab and butter flavor. The fried chicken was our second favorite dish. Chicken was juicy, crispy, and well seasoned. The sauce was SPICY. Sweet and savory with an Asian twist with the addition of nuoc cham. We then had the morcilla crepes which were good but not something I'd get again. They were fine- soft, & meaty- not much to say. Lastly, we finished off our meal with a sweet plantain bolognese. The chocolate was so interesting and actually worked really well with the meat sauce. The agnolotti was filled with plantain! This unique dish was the perfect cap to the meal. We also tried a couple cocktails which were super creative as well. The sashamama which was made with sour milk punch was very good! The el cardenalito was a little too sweet. The a tomates si huele was a little too savory. Overall, the experience at Vianda was unique and special. Highly recommend!

If there are rules guests are expected to follow, maybe the restaurant should clearly communicate them instead of having management aggressively confront paying customers. I asked to speak to the assistant manager who handled the situation much more professionally and was kind, understanding, and willing to listen. Unfortunately, Patrick's behavior completely ruined the experience and left a terrible impression on what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner. His behavior was racial profiling. No guest should feel singled out, uncomfortable, or disrespected simply for taking a photo when there were no visible rules posted anywhere in the restaurant.

We were seated quickly on the patio, which had a great atmosphere, but one member of our party was engaged in a losing battle against the local bird population. These weren't your average birds politely minding their own business--they were running coordinated food-theft operations and dive-bombing tables like tiny feathered pirates. Seeing the concern, the staff graciously moved our group inside without hesitation, which we really appreciated. Service took a little while after that, but the place was busy, and they'd already accommodated our last-minute relocation due to the ongoing Bird Crisis of 2026, so we were happy to relax with a few beers and cocktails while we waited. It's been a while, but if memory serves me correctly, we ordered Fish Bites, Rum Chicken Bites, and several other shareable plates. Everything was delicious. Even our notoriously picky son cleaned his plate of fries, which may be the highest rating our family can award. ‍ The inside of the restaurant was almost an attraction unto itself. Everywhere you looked there were interesting knick-knacks, old rum bottles, antiques, and random treasures. I could have spent another hour just wandering around and inspecting the cabinets. Part of me wishes we could have stayed on the patio because the energy outside was lively and fun. Maybe next time we'll be a little braver--or at least better prepared to negotiate with the birds. Overall, the prices seemed fair for a popular tourist destination, the food was excellent, and the staff was accommodating. If I find myself back in Old San Juan someday, I'd happily return

My wife and I arrived on a cruise ship and were looking for some authentic PR food. We didn't…read morerealize that most places that were recommended close early on Wednesday's, so we ended up here which is close to the cruise ship. There was no wait for a table, but it took a good 10 minutes for the waiter to even come to our table. Drinks took about 5-7 min, which isn't bad. We ordered dinner and the wait began. 20 minutes after we ordered, my wife's dinner came out, but mine didn't. She finished her food in about 10 min, my dinner still hadn't arrived. We waited another 30 min (1 hour after ordering) and my meal still hadn't come out. Our waiter never checked on us, never offered us more drinks, never apologized for the wait. After the hour, I walked up to our waiter and told him we were leaving. They did remove the food that never arrived but they didn't seem the least bit apologetic. For a first impression of Puerto Rican service and quality, I would never recommend this place.
