I am rewriting my review of The Viano because I don't want one bad apple in the management bunch to ruin the opinion of the whole business. When I wrote my original review, I had an experience with the young girl at the front desk that left me so angry. The incident included her refusing to help me bridge a language barrier between myself and the renovators hired to work on the apartment above mine. I have one son with ASD and at the time my other son was less than a year old. Both heavily rely on their nap times, but my oldest especially because he breaks down and has more difficulty when exhausted. The workers were hammering on the floor above his room and he had just fallen asleep after not sleeping at all the night before. I tried talking to the workers, but quickly realized they couldn't understand me so I asked the girl at the front desk for help and explained the situation. She was completely insistent that she would not help me. On top of her constant condescending tone she takes with the residents, that was the last straw for me. But...honestly, overall the Viano is a very nice apartment complex. Very nice appliances, granite countertops, excellent maintenance, quiet, family friendly neighborhood. The other two women who work at the front office were Always a pleasure to talk to. They were so helpful and patient anytime I spoke with them. They've gone out of their way to be of assistance. It's a great deal on rent for a comfortable, luxury apartment. read more

I wanted to take some time and share my experience living here in the Viano community. I originally wrote a review upon moving in two years ago. The other night I was laying in bed and decided to see what YELP reviews had to say about my community. Let me start by saying everyday I'm happy living here. Yes, the property is very new, clean, and the amenities are fabulous. I have enjoyed the community and have made some great friends along the way. When my lease was up I didn't hesitate to sign again, and even upgraded to larger unit with no issue. As I read some of the other reviews about problems here, I felt as a long term resident in this community I needed to shed some light. As far as the pest problem, roaches, and ants I HAVE NEVER seen or had any in my unit. We have to remember this is California and its extremely hot. The heat along with not properly storing food, maintain the cleanliness standards in your unit could cause a self made problem. As far as this being an infested roach and ant complex NOT TRUE. As far as parking I have my assigned parking and have never had an issue. When I have guest come over they use guest parking if within allowed hours or park on the street. The complex offers garages and carports that are assigned for tenants. Yes they are at an additional fee, but that's explained when you move in. The parking around the property is not assigned and with a permit is first come first serve. Legitimately you cannot complain about parking unless its assigned and someone is in your spot. As far as the staff goes they are world class in my opinion: Tamika - Manager has been very kind and friendly to me. Makes me feel like she is happy I'm a resident and takes the time to speak to me and know me. Lisa Marie - Anytime I have gone to the office picked up a package, paid rent, used the fax she has been good to me. She is always smiling and always ask is there anything else I need help with? Carrie - Again, always very welcoming to me and stops what she is doing to address me. I never had an issue what so ever, she is always very accommodating to me as resident. Mike - Works on the grounds as maintenance really awesome guy, when ever I needed him he has helped me with a smile. I have even stopped him when he was working on something else and he dropped what he was doing to help. Frank - The on site maintenance is on top of his job, never has let me down as a resident. Words cannot describe how quickly he responds to calls and has the right attitude. Yes, as you can see from my review I love the community I love in. I'm also a relationship kinda guy and take the time to build them. In the times we live in that's very rare. Everyone just emails, text, and the whole one on one approach has gone away. When you approach people in a professional manor and take the time to establish a good rapport it goes a long way. I read reviews about staff being rude, not caring, and being passive aggressive. I ask myself are people going in approaching things unprofessionally and without respect? As a person I always do my best to approach people in the manor I would like to be approached. I have gone in the office, and I have dealt with every single staff member. I also as a resident can he a handful and I like things yesterday. They have always come through and never let me down....THAT'S A FACT! If your looking for a great luxury community to live in, my opinion this is the BEST in our area. There is a great pool area, recreation area, and gym. The staff monthly host a community event such as bingo games, movie night, and random contest to get residents involved. My husband and I rented for several months at the Viano At Riverwalk. The two bedroom apartment was great to rent. It was very comfortable for us. Lisamarie was such a wonderful help and took care of us. The few times we needed repairs, Mike and his helper came within 24 hours. Tamika was very much on top of things and we were very pleased. I have to give this place 3 stars because it wasn't always bad. When my wife and I were on the hunt we almost moved to this apartment in corona and I'm glad we didn't we chose viano last minute right off the bat friendly staff all was good until parking parking sucked I got 2 tickets my first week I paid them whatever I purchased a spot its ok now it is what it is we were just starting to enjoy it again up until about a month ago when we got COCKROACHES in and all over our apartment we are super clean and huge germafobes I had a talk with the office today regarding my lease and possible opportunity of switching to another building hopefully it goes better when I talk to tamika tomorrow read more

I absolutely love living here. The layout is spacious (I'm in the large 2bdrm 2bath), the kitchen has updated appliances, the amenities are awesome and even more importantly, I love the community. Most of the people here are really polite and courteous, I just made new friends at a bingo night the office hosted in the clubhouse. I think it's great that they host events to give us the opportunity to meet our neighbors. I've lived at other apartments, where the office staff simply doesn't care. It is a little pricey, but it is a luxury apartment complex so it's understandable. The ONLY reason I'm not giving a full 5 star rating is because of the parking. I don't understand how there isn't AT LEAST 1 parking spot per apartment. With the price of the rent, I almost find it unfair that we have to pay extra to be guaranteed a spot. Maybe if all the spots were numbered, and every apartment was given a numbered spot, it would help out a little? I think that would dramatically ease parking tension. It's so sad to see people race in the complex to find a spot. I pay for a garage, because I needed a little extra storage anyway, thankfully I can come home at anytime and not have to worry about that. Other than the parking issue, I do enjoy it here, and I recommend it to others, as long as you're okay paying a little extra for parking. read more

I just moved from this complex due to having to relocate for work but thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The staff was always helpful and friendly. The amenities were great and I took full advantage of the gym and pool. I didn't experience any of the issues that some of the other comments mentioned. I would definitely recommend Viano to friends and family based on my experience there. read more

I just upgraded my residence to this sexy new complex. The gym is sexy, the pool and cabanas are sexy, the view from my 3rd story bedroom is sexy, the complimentary coffee machine that I used when I ran out of coffee grounds is sexy, and the customer service is sexy. I met all of the staff members and they were a delight. They even helped me choose a Christmas gift for my girlfriend! As a thank you for all of their help, I brought by some pupusas from a local salvadoran restaurant and we all had lunch together. I was pretty full, so I again snuck some coffee from their machine in the private kitchen area haha (they had real cream in the refrigerator next to the coffee maker... how could I resist). I strongly recommend this place if your'e looking to live somewhere fresh. read more

Update: Pest Control has stepped up outside treatment , have only seen 1 dead adult in the last 5 days, but still sweeping up 5-8 dead baby bugs a day, hopefully it gets better read more

My husband told me about Viano which he found out about through his co-worker and I'm so glad we checked them out! Talk about upgraded everything! The grounds are beautiful. The interior of the apartment is amazing and the amenities are awesome! Carrie took us on the complex tour and she was very knowledgeable and kind. Through the application process I had the pleasure of working with Lisamarie and Tameca who were also very kind and helpful during the process. You can call anytime during business hours and there is always someone there to answer the phone which really does matter. Can't wait to experience living at Viano! i was just there a couple days ago and i was completely blown away i loved every minute of my tour it felt as if i were walking a resort not apartment homes. the staff was so inviting and nice. Love this place!!! We have been here now 1 yr and just renewed our Lease for another yr. We went from a Small 2 bd which was great to big 2 bd and it is Fantastic. I recently separated from active duty and decided to move back home to Southern California. I came across Viano apartments and absolutely fell in love with them. From the hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances and the size of master bedroom. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The customer service was amazing! Answered every question I had in a timely manner and was very helpful throughout the application process. With that being said I'm very proud to call this home for the next few years. read more

I have seen a tour of these apartments 2 times now and both times the staff has been very friendly!Carrie (Could be corrie) is beyond amazing and made us feel very welcomed & she was honestly the main reason we came back and applied she was personable fun and very knowledgeable! Came across these apartments one day picking up my boyfriend from his cousin's place and I was immediately interested considering we had already been looking for apartments. We decided to come back the next day to get a tour and inquire about what's available. We toured the larger 1 bedroom floor plan and immediately fell in love with all the amenities the apartment had to offer, which comes standard by the way, and looked at availability and rented! We move in Saturday and we couldn't be more excited. You will fall in love with these apartments we highly recommend these apartments if you're looking for comfortability. read more

I will be honest the apartment itself is quite nice, however, everything else that comes with this apartment is not worth it. The parking is a mess and is at a very high price. If you decide to park on the street your car will get broken into. They have security, but cars still get broken into! Next is the bug problems its ants, bees, wasps, cockroaches, and more! The pool has bugs in it, who wants to swim in that?! One time I complained about the bees by my apartment and they told me "those bees don't sting". I'm sorry I want the bees taken care of not an excuse. Finally is the management problem. The two ladies in the front have the worse attitudes ever. They are incredibly rude and witty. For simple complaints or questions they are inconsiderate, probably the worst part about living here. I can't believe that they are even the first people you see when you come talk about living here. Beware of all these issues before even considering living here. Management really needs to get it together. read more

I was very happy when I first moved in. My unit was new, not brand new but still new, the complex is beautiful and I love the pool. The staff was super friendly. After a few months I noticed I was getting a lot of street roaches! It looks like they were coming in from the pipes? I know that half of the complex was under construction so I figured, open pipes leads to bugs crawling into the units? IDK how that works. My biggest issue came when I got new neighbors upstairs. These guys did not understand "quiet time" and were literally loud all night long... they would let their kid run around at 3am! bouncing basketballs, screaming, parties mid week until morning. I realize this is something out of managements control but management literally did nothing to accommodate me. I was not offered to relocate, I was not offered any type of help. When I would inquire as to what was being done, I was advised not to speak to the neighbor on my own, that they would handle it. This went on for months and no one actually did a single thing for me. All I got was lost sleep. This place is not cheap, I expect better service! I informed management in writing that I would be terminating my lease due to this ongoing issue. Still nothing. So I left. Now they want to charge me ridiculous fees including an outrageous "clean up fee" when I actually hired a professional cleaning company to clean before I vacated. read more

We absolutely love it here!!! The 3 girl staff is amazing and very helpful & professional. The complex is gorgeous and almost resort-like. Maintenance crew (Frank & Mike) always keep the apartments nice and clean and not to mention up to date. It's very quiet and relaxing. It was hard for us to find not only a decent apartment but also with all the necessities that I wanted however, Viano is the best place anywhere near here! They provide your own washer and dryer, huge wake in closet, dish washer, fridge and much more!!!! My best part of the day is coming home to my beautiful apartment and the pool area! Thank you to the staff for helping us live happily ever after...The Moreno's! read more

The apartments itself are nice, brand new with brand new amentities. The parking is a disaster and they are extremely behind on construction. Most of the staff is great, LisaMarie is awesome. However the community office manager is ridiculously rude. She was very rude over the phone before we first moved in and I should have known then not to move in. In trying to deal with an issue with her she was rude once again to my husband and I, very condescending and talked to us like we were children. We will not be renewing our lease here when the time is up and are even considering breaking our lease to get out before. read more

My wife and I have been looking for a temporary home for our little family until we could find new house to purchase near my job in Corona. When we saw these apartments online we thought we had found the perfect place. Unfortunately our experience visiting these apartments was the entire opposite of what we had envisioned. First, my little family and I were greeted by a maintenance supervisor. He looked at us as if we showed up to his own personal home and we had came in uninvited. He asked what we were doing there? I let him know I was here for a tour I had agreed to make it in before 3 pm today via email with one of the leasing agents. He responded with a very bothered attitude that "she" ( the leasing agent) had just gone to a tour. I mentioned we would wait for her it was no problem, he then proceeded to say he didn't think she would show us around. After receiving a terrible welcome by this man and his bothered attitude and mad faces I got irritated by his comment. I replied to him that I was instructed to come tour and that's why I was here I didn't just drop in to see if someone would help me. He stayed quiet but he became very bothered and annoyed that I was insistent on receiving the tour I was invited to take. We waited for about 10 mins and the leasing agent finally came in acting all rushed. We were never properly greeted or introduced she never shook our hands or exchanged names. Both my wife and I felt she was in such a rush to get to through the tour. We finally got to the 2 bed 2 bath model and inspected everything. She then began to go over pricing and clarified that a covered parking space was an extra $50 per month, if we wanted a garage it was an extra $85 per month. I asked if we could tour a 3 bed unit since I had seen availability online. She mentioned that was not available for show, she was quick to let me know "a three bed apartment is $2100 a month anyway." The entire vibe I got off her comment came off as if it was more than I could probably afford. Little does she know is that I make 4x more a month than they charge for a 3 bed room apartment. These people treated us as if we went to waste our time and theirs to look at a new apartment we could not afford, in their eyes. The whole process made us feel discriminated, from the moment the maintenance supervisor looked at us like trash, to the moment the leasing agent assumed $2100 a month was too much for us. Another issue I had was that I was told via email a unit would be available very soon. However, the leasing agent mentioned nothing would be open soon unless someone suddenly decided to leave. She never offered to take our information to let us know when a unit became available either. It seems as if these people feel they are in no need for anymore business and had no rush in helping anyone else looking to move in. After such an awful experience I can honestly say that I will never move to Viano apartments and I would never recommend anyone to move here. It's sad that the property is so beautiful and clean, but the employees are definitely not qualified to run a place like this. read more

been here about a month and so far it's been great!! the complex is amazing - pool w/ cabanas, bbqs and tables set up throughout, 2 outdoor fireplaces near the pool, volleyball court, gym, business center, game room (with wii/xbox/playstation), rec room w/ free peets coffee and tea!! the staff in the leasing office are always friendly and very helpful (especially Ana!) they are very patient with questions and address concerns right away. last week management (?) put on a 'movie on the lawn' night with free popcorn/candy/snacks/drinks. families were able to bring a blanket/chairs and enjoy the movie and their neighbors in the warm summer night - it was wonderful! Each apartment comes with wood floors (carpet in bedroom/s), light or dark cabinets and granite counters, a full size washer/dryer, stainless steel frige/stove/microwave, ceiling fans, crown molding, walk in closet (master) and a patio/balcony. The units are simply beautiful!! read more

I've been living here for 6 months now and it's a phenomenal place to live. The common areas are kept clean, the staff is very friendly, professional, and efficient. The units are upgraded compared to all the others I looked at in the area. There is plenty of parking when I get home from work which is not common in a complex. Don't pass on this beautiful complex. Oh and they do monthly events which makes for great social time when your neighbors. read more

My wife and I moved into Avalon almost two months ago and have truly loved every minute here for a number of reasons. 1.) It is located just off of State Route 91 and near I-15, making travel north, south, east or west very easy. 2.) The grounds are always well-maintained and kept clean, which is something we really appreciate. 3.) The clubhouse offers plenty of space to relax, watch a movie, exercise at the gym, work at the business office, and have a good cup of coffee. 4.) The apartments rise above the rest for their quality and magnificent views. (Coming from Iowa, this is important to me.) 5.) They reinforce their rules and regulations to maintain good standards and not allow the place to become run-down. 6.) My wife loves the gigantic in-suite washer and dryer that can pretty much do all your laundry in one load. 7.) The complex is gated and there are security guards that patrol the grounds at night, so you don't have to worry about your car being vandalized. 8.) Last but not least, the staff is always there to help when we are in need. They have been friendly and accommodating from the minute we stepped in the door. Also, the neighborhood is great for those who like to go for a run. The complex is in a safe location right next to La Sierra University, and there is gorgeous landscaping and sidewalks along the Riverwalk Parkway. Along Collett Avenue is a nice jogging path with exercise stations every few meters. When we were moving to the area, we looked at almost all of the apartments in Chino Hills, Corona and Riverside. While you could pay a little less per month at another complex in a not-so-great area, this is by far the best option. From the granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, quality staff, great neighborhood, and convenient location, Avalon at Riverwalk is well the extra $100 per month. Overall, this is a fantastic place to live. We would recommend it to anyone interested in looking at apartments in Riverside or Corona. read more

This place deserves a 5+ star rating: Great management, friendly staff, professional maintenance crew, luxury finishing in units, first time I walked into this place it was like walking into a resort from the outside and luxury hotel rooms from the inside! Every member of the office staff is willing to assist beyond your expectation, you truly feel like you are at home, not just an apartment, the complex is clean and quiet, never had an issue of loud music or smelly trash like other apartment complexes, I had a great experience moving into Viano apartments, the Property Manager Tameca is very professional and friendly and made our move-in process extremely easy, I also had my move-in worked on by Lisamarie and other staff members whom I want to give credit too also. I had a terrible experience when moving out from the previous apartment I was in in rancho, but when I had to move out from Viano due to work relocating to another state, the manager "Tameca" was extremely helpful and understanding and the move out process couldn't have been any easier!
