Vicious Benny (eggs benedict biscuit) & Chai latte
    Michelle W.

Prepare for a long line! When I went on a Saturday the line was wrapped around inside and out the door onto the sidewalk. Staff was friendly and organized. I love a good biscuit and am a sucker for eggs benny so the Vicious Benny was the perfect pick for me. Once I did order and sat at a table my food and drink came out quickly. I do wish the food was a bit hotter though, but it was still filling and delicious.

I really enjoyed my breakfast, I would definitely get something lighter but I wanted to try something different. We got the biscuits biscuit and the flame thrower both were really good but it was too much for us. I tried the jalapeno biscuit alone and I would just them! The line was out the door and it wasn't because they were busy it was 1 girl at the register.

Sunday morning Very Busy. I decided to try this establishment on the wrong day/ time Must be well liked tho to be this busy. I called ahead and ordered pickup because they had the online option turned off due to the volume of business, but in general they don't take call ins. The restaurant was clean and bright somewhat pirate themed. I guess the way it works is you order at the counter and they bring to your table? Or maybe this was only because it was so busy? Anyway the chicken and waffle... really called Bord and Belgian was pretty good. I loved the fried chicken, waffle a little soggy.

Came here on my birthday and had quite the wait before being seated, but man it was worth it. This place was still pretty new, so the line made sense. Thankfully it lived up to the hype because I enjoyed every bite of my biscuit. I had the Vicious and my husband had the Fat Boy. The hardest part about going here is deciding. While waiting in line, it only made it harder to decide as I kept considering all the options. I get the feeling nothing is a bad choice! That biscuit was so amazing with the crispy chicken and yummy gravy. Even my one year old son tore up his plain biscuit, so it seems to be toddler approved! We also got the beignets which were delicious but almost a meal in itself, so only get if you have room for a very sweet treat. Can't wait to go back!

Don't let the line out the door during busy times scare you - this place is an experience. After waiting around 35 minutes during the Sunday brunch rush, and getting some directions on how the line works, my group was at the checkout counter. Michael, the manager, entertained our line while also helping out the store, even being willing to clean tables. This is the 11th location and the original in South Carolina often has a 3 hour wait. Wowza! Basically you get a menu in the line to get an idea of what you want. Items are marked with symbols for spicy, fan favorite, and/of gluten free option available. There's fresh pressed OJ ($6, no ice as to not water it down, which I love), the machine is right behind the counter. While in line, an employee will ask how many are in your party and find you a table. He will put a number on it and come back to tell you what table you'll be at. Once you're at the counter, you order, pay, and provide your table number. Food is brought to your table. Water and silverware are self-service. There's also a jam bar with strawberry, wildberry, and blackberry jams, sweet potato, maple bourbon, and whipped honey butters, and apple butter. The food came out pretty quickly. I got the crab benny ($14), which was excellent, especially with the acidity from the fried green tomato. My husband got the flame thrower ($14). We got a plain original biscuit and cheddar jalapeño biscuit ($3.50/ea) to share, as well as the pimento grits, which are excellent grits with a scoop of pimento cheese on top. We liked everything but had to share with friends because you get STUFFED quickly on the food here. The staff was all great, not just Michael but our cashier Natalia, too. Just genuinely kind humans, excited about their jobs, which is not easy to stumble upon. Suggestion while they're busy: this isn't the place to stay for a long time due to the crowds and trying to get people in. We were not rushed out but were aware our table was needed so we didn't overstay our welcome, that's more what less busy places and coffee shops are for. Recommendations: prices aren't on the printed menu and this location isn't on the website yet so decided what all I wanted was tricky without prices (they're on the screens above the cash registers). I wish I knew sooner when to get a table and if someone isn't at the door, some people tried to walk in and accidentally cut, which was awkward. Maybe some signs? Also, more savory toppings for the savory cheddar jalapeño biscuit (which isn't spicy btw) at the jam bar. Overall a great place, great staff, okay pricing, funny sayings on the walls, okay parking if you use what's in the area, no waiting area (umbrellas available when it's raining, if you are okay waiting outside), and delicious (heavy, hearty, southern) food. We will be back but look forward to a few possible tweaks.

This place is my new go to breakfast spot! I've tried the Animal Farm and the Fat Boy so far, and both are delicious. My strategy is to use the top part of the biscuit to take advantage of the jam bar (apple butter is a personal fave), and then eat the rest as an open faced sandwich. It's plenty of food to fill you up!! Expect a line though - this spot is popular!

Cute little place. Lots of natural light and seating space. I grabbed my food to go... remote work life. Sooooo... okay, listen. I'm used to stuff being overhyped. This was a little overhyped for me. Don't fight me. It's fine. The biscuit is really nice. So you're good there. Nice flavor. Nice texture. For what it is, it is good! No complaints at all. It just didn't wow me. I got the Fat Boy, blueberry fritters, and the fresh squeeze orange juice. Again, all good. My order was ready on time. They didn't forget my napkins or straw. Though, they did forget the drizzle on my blueberry fritters (and it wasn't on the side). Solid 4*. It only gets a 5 from me if I do a little dance. And I did not.

This place was amazing. The biscuits are delicious and staff was on the floor clearing plates. There are many options and my husband who is diabetic still had many options.

Loved Vicious Biscuit so much! Great menu options, fun vibe, friendly staff, and just so darn good! Can't wait to go back!

I had tried to go to Vicious Biscuit once before this trip but the line was wild, so I opted to order online and do carry out this time. The restaurant is clearly new construction and super cute, but is not large. Carry out was a great option for biscuits on the go. Both the Sea Biscuit and Animal Farm were great. The order was ready on time and packaged appropriately. I will be back!

Be prepared to wait. I know it's new and the weekend, just plan ahead. We waited in line for 30ish minutes. The menu was pretty extensive. Staff was very friendly and even helped me narrow down my choices while we were waiting. Food was very good. Biscuits especially, which makes sense with it being a biscuit place! The bacon on my biscuit was very good. Wish I would have ordered a side of that to go. We liked everything we ordered. Just beware that you will be asked to give up your table as soon as your done eating, so don't meet friends to catch up if it's the weekend. We were seated for less than an hour, even after waiting in line for half an hour and another twenty minutes of waiting for our food. New restaurant, long lines. I'm not mentioning this as a complaint, I completely understand the reason, just a heads-up!

A bunch spot that closes ~2:30. We had the Shrimp & Grits + the Hen Solo ( plain fried chicken) both were REALLY good. FILLING. Service was friendly and quick. They have a good range of toppings / butters. ( Sweet potato butter ) While I'm not a fan of how much food costs nowadays ( pretty much anything you get will run you at least $13 after tax / top ). I was full / content for the next several HOURS with just the biscuit +chicken ....which is quite a feat. Definitely worth it.

    Shrimp & Grits

Usually this place has a line out the door but we came at the right time. No long line but once we were seated the crowd came . We came in for the shrimp and grits and also added the Animal Farm w/ Vicious Bacon. Seems they moved some tables around and gave it more open space for seating. The food came out in a timely manor. We also enjoyed the variety of jelly options, my favorite is the strawberry jam . What I failed to get is the fresh squeezed orange juice. I've had it before and it is perfection in a glass. Last thing if you need a place for catering they offer it as well as they provided catering for our son's graduation party. Lots of food, well priced. This place will always be in our rotation ..many more options to try.

I come from a land where great breakfast burritos can be found everywhere (you know the place), so my standards are high. And then I tasted the breakfast burrito at Mornings Breakfast & Brunch in Fishers. And now ... well. If someone asked me, now, where my favorite breakfast burrito is located, Mornings might pop into my head. Because the breakfast burrito here is bangin'. It's appropriately mushy in all the right places. (If you know me, then you know that "mushy" is a big compliment when describing a burrito.) It has hash browns that aren't too crispy, diced bacon (or whatever other meat you choose), scrambled eggs, cheese, all wrapped in a thin flour tortilla. The breakfast burrito also comes with a side of sour cream and salsa verde, plus an additional side. I chose fried potatoes. I got my breakfast burrito to go, like you should. Do people eat burritos sitting down in a restaurant? Aren't they made to be eaten in a car, precariously gripped in one hand, with the other had on the steering wheel, maneuvering around roundabouts? Or in a car, dripping sweat into the to-go container as you hover over it to shove the last bits of burrito into your face after a vigorous yoga session? Burritos are meant to be eaten in cars, obviously, so I got my breakfast burrito to go. Burritos, like many things, taste better when they're eaten in a car. When I visited Mornings early in the morning, the music was blasting in the dining room. I don't know if they always have it this loud, or if maybe they were just trying to pump up the staff, or if maybe I'm just old and everything is loud now, but the music was very loud. Like, "raise your voice to talk to the person across the table" loud. I guess just keep that in mind. Or let that be yet another sign that you need to get your food to go and eat it in your car.

Everything came out quickly, thanks to Froy and Eduardo in the kitchen. I made sure to tell them how great the food was, and their big smiles said it all you can tell they genuinely care about both quality and service. There's plenty of parking, which is always a plus. My spouse had a short stack of pancakes, which she liked. The food also came out hot, which is so important for breakfast food. Kudos on that! I only gave four stars, however, because the shortage of staff on the Saturday noon we ate was evident and really degraded the whole experience. When we arrived there were dirty dishes stacked on every empty table in the restaurant. The employees did their best to be friendly but it was clear they were harassed, and the service was incredibly slow. I would estimate that it took about 25 minutes (maybe 30) from the time we ordered until we got our food. During that time we weren't offered a coffee refill until the food arrived, and the water we asked for didn't arrive until our food did. We didn't even see our waitress for about 20 minutes, and this isn't a big restaurant. I realize that every restaurant struggles to find enough employees in the current environment. Maybe we just need to eat out less and cook at home more. But it's hard when you're traveling, as we are. This restaurant has the food down, but the service is a problem, or at least it was today. I remember eating at LePeep in Castleton 30 years ago and it was fabulous. But you can't do it without workers.
