    The Fat Boy
    Debra G.

I love biscuits and have been wanting to eat here since it opened. Did not disappoint! Friendly staff, lots of tables, quick service and delicious biscuits! I had The Fat Boy. An amazing biscuit with a breaded chicken breast and pimento cheese. (pimento cheese is another favorite) My daughter had an omelette with bacon, grits and a biscuit. I brought home a jalapeno cheddar biscuit to my husband. He said it was really good! There is a bar with butter, jam and other condiments. I can't wait to go back!

Had to go to Fishers for an errand and stopped into Vicious. We've been to the location in Neptune Beach several times, and had been waiting for one in Indiana. My breakfast partner had the Old School with grits, eggs, bacon and a biscuit. I tried the bacon and it was outstanding. She said it was all very good. I got a make your own breakfast bowl, with fried chicken, eggs over easy (I had already broke the yolks by the time I remembered to grab a picture), grits and white cheddar cheese. It comes with a variety of sauces, but I chose to forego that option. Also opted for a biscuit on the side. The bowls are excellent, and you can customize to your tastes. I love their grits. And the biscuit is enormous and they have a jelly/jam bar to get some toppings. Ordering is at the counter and there was a line out the door today. Then sit down with your number and they bring out the food. Setup very similar to other locations. If you are in the area and have a craving for a biscuit, Vicious is the place. Hopefully another location closer to my general area will come soon.

Vicious Biscuit is the perfect place to grab a delicious meal and share a mimosa carafe with the girls! I had to try the Fat Boy Biscuit, loaded with fried chicken, pimento cheese, and hot honey, and it did not disappoint. Every bite was packed with flavor and absolutely worth the hype. We were also thrilled that the mimosa carafe came perfectly pre-mixed--because let's be honest, getting handed a bottle of champagne and a glass of orange juice just isn't the same. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive, and the atmosphere was the perfect mix of fun and inviting. Whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying brunch, or settling in for a long overdue yap session, Vicious Biscuit is definitely a spot worth visiting.

Prepare for a long line! When I went on a Saturday the line was wrapped around inside and out the door onto the sidewalk. Staff was friendly and organized. I love a good biscuit and am a sucker for eggs benny so the Vicious Benny was the perfect pick for me. Once I did order and sat at a table my food and drink came out quickly. I do wish the food was a bit hotter though, but it was still filling and delicious.

I ordered the Vicious and a toasted coconut latte for carry out (with my sauces on the side). I love jalapeño cheddar biscuits first of all, the chicken was seasoned perfectly and a nice crispy breading. The sausage gravy was good but the sausage was honestly overkill. All the flavors blended so well together. The following day my daughter and I went to have lunch and we both had the sweet potato waffle and chicken. It comes with a honey mustard and maple syrup and again, the flavors paired together perfectly. There was a butter/jam bar with flavored butters and jams and the apple pie butter was delicious! My daughter loved the waffles but hates potatoes so when I told her it was a sweet potato waffle she wasn't thrilled (then I told her I was joking). The fresh orange juice was delicious too. Everything was phenomenal including the service. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. We had a little mix up because I substituted the bacon for chicken on the kids waffle and they gave me bacon still but very quickly corrected the mistake. I would love to go back and try all of the menu items!

I can't believe it took me this long to check this place out. Everything sounded and looked so good that it was hard for me to narrow down my selection you order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. The Manager even stopped by and talked to us and was super nice and I believe the owner may have came by as well. Everyone there though was extremely nice very helpful with the menu if you had any questions Now to the food. For starters, they have an extensive butter and jam bar unfortunately, when ordering I forgot about that little details so we ended up ordering the beignets, which were absolutely delicious. The fresh fruit and whipped cream on top was a perfect addition, and they put their twist on a traditional beignet and I love it. Definitely more than two people could eat, especially if you order other food so we did bring some home. The shrimp and grits was absolutely delicious full of flavor full of shrimp, hands-down one of the best shrimp and grits we've ever had The cheese grits were OK. I do love pimento cheese however I did not feel like I enjoy pimento cheese and grits mixed together, but that's just a personal preference of mine. The vicious biscuit was on point. The chicken was super crispy and fried to perfection the maple sausage gravy you could taste the sweetness and the saltines the jalapeño biscuit had a wonderful flavor. It wasn't too overpowering or too spicy hands-down would absolutely order again. I really wish that there was a location on the southside or that I lived closer because I would be there all the time. There is plenty of seating options as well and I would consider to be a good place to grab lunch with an old friend or even lunch with coworkers or breakfast.

Sunday morning Very Busy. I decided to try this establishment on the wrong day/ time Must be well liked tho to be this busy. I called ahead and ordered pickup because they had the online option turned off due to the volume of business, but in general they don't take call ins. The restaurant was clean and bright somewhat pirate themed. I guess the way it works is you order at the counter and they bring to your table? Or maybe this was only because it was so busy? Anyway the chicken and waffle... really called Bord and Belgian was pretty good. I loved the fried chicken, waffle a little soggy.

Came here on my birthday and had quite the wait before being seated, but man it was worth it. This place was still pretty new, so the line made sense. Thankfully it lived up to the hype because I enjoyed every bite of my biscuit. I had the Vicious and my husband had the Fat Boy. The hardest part about going here is deciding. While waiting in line, it only made it harder to decide as I kept considering all the options. I get the feeling nothing is a bad choice! That biscuit was so amazing with the crispy chicken and yummy gravy. Even my one year old son tore up his plain biscuit, so it seems to be toddler approved! We also got the beignets which were delicious but almost a meal in itself, so only get if you have room for a very sweet treat. Can't wait to go back!

The SEA biscuit sandwich was delicious, warm, filling! The cheesy grits were creamy and flavorful and the drink paired perfectly with the meal. A great breakfast treat from start to finish!

Don't let the line out the door during busy times scare you - this place is an experience. After waiting around 35 minutes during the Sunday brunch rush, and getting some directions on how the line works, my group was at the checkout counter. Michael, the manager, entertained our line while also helping out the store, even being willing to clean tables. This is the 11th location and the original in South Carolina often has a 3 hour wait. Wowza! Basically you get a menu in the line to get an idea of what you want. Items are marked with symbols for spicy, fan favorite, and/of gluten free option available. There's fresh pressed OJ ($6, no ice as to not water it down, which I love), the machine is right behind the counter. While in line, an employee will ask how many are in your party and find you a table. He will put a number on it and come back to tell you what table you'll be at. Once you're at the counter, you order, pay, and provide your table number. Food is brought to your table. Water and silverware are self-service. There's also a jam bar with strawberry, wildberry, and blackberry jams, sweet potato, maple bourbon, and whipped honey butters, and apple butter. The food came out pretty quickly. I got the crab benny ($14), which was excellent, especially with the acidity from the fried green tomato. My husband got the flame thrower ($14). We got a plain original biscuit and cheddar jalapeño biscuit ($3.50/ea) to share, as well as the pimento grits, which are excellent grits with a scoop of pimento cheese on top. We liked everything but had to share with friends because you get STUFFED quickly on the food here. The staff was all great, not just Michael but our cashier Natalia, too. Just genuinely kind humans, excited about their jobs, which is not easy to stumble upon. Suggestion while they're busy: this isn't the place to stay for a long time due to the crowds and trying to get people in. We were not rushed out but were aware our table was needed so we didn't overstay our welcome, that's more what less busy places and coffee shops are for. Recommendations: prices aren't on the printed menu and this location isn't on the website yet so decided what all I wanted was tricky without prices (they're on the screens above the cash registers). I wish I knew sooner when to get a table and if someone isn't at the door, some people tried to walk in and accidentally cut, which was awkward. Maybe some signs? Also, more savory toppings for the savory cheddar jalapeño biscuit (which isn't spicy btw) at the jam bar. Overall a great place, great staff, okay pricing, funny sayings on the walls, okay parking if you use what's in the area, no waiting area (umbrellas available when it's raining, if you are okay waiting outside), and delicious (heavy, hearty, southern) food. We will be back but look forward to a few possible tweaks.

I really enjoyed my breakfast, I would definitely get something lighter but I wanted to try something different. We got the biscuits biscuit and the flame thrower both were really good but it was too much for us. I tried the jalapeno biscuit alone and I would just them! The line was out the door and it wasn't because they were busy it was 1 girl at the register.

Cute little place. Lots of natural light and seating space. I grabbed my food to go... remote work life. Sooooo... okay, listen. I'm used to stuff being overhyped. This was a little overhyped for me. Don't fight me. It's fine. The biscuit is really nice. So you're good there. Nice flavor. Nice texture. For what it is, it is good! No complaints at all. It just didn't wow me. I got the Fat Boy, blueberry fritters, and the fresh squeeze orange juice. Again, all good. My order was ready on time. They didn't forget my napkins or straw. Though, they did forget the drizzle on my blueberry fritters (and it wasn't on the side). Solid 4*. It only gets a 5 from me if I do a little dance. And I did not.

    Fat Boy
    James 'Chip' B.

Had the Fat boy and boy was is good. I was advised to order extra hot honey and used almost all of it. Of all the jams and butters at the toppings bar, my favorite was the apple butter. Will be back next time I'm in the area.

We had a friend join late, Taylor never acknowledged her or even asked if she wanted to place an order. Taylor came and grabbed our receipts because she didn't want them to "fly away". Mind you, there was no wind and they were tucked in the receipt book thing-a-ma-bob. Stephen the manger checked on us and filled him in on Taylor (unbeknownst to me he was the manager at the time). I had the pear margarita. Apparently they ran out of oranges so the drink arrived without any garnishment so no photo worthy pic obtained. It was just ok. My friend had the pineapple rum old fashioned and said it was delicious. I had the Brussel sprouts. They were mediocre at best. I requested some ranch to make them More palatable and that was a good move. The ranch is very good!!

I come from a land where great breakfast burritos can be found everywhere (you know the place), so my standards are high. And then I tasted the breakfast burrito at Mornings Breakfast & Brunch in Fishers. And now ... well. If someone asked me, now, where my favorite breakfast burrito is located, Mornings might pop into my head. Because the breakfast burrito here is bangin'. It's appropriately mushy in all the right places. (If you know me, then you know that "mushy" is a big compliment when describing a burrito.) It has hash browns that aren't too crispy, diced bacon (or whatever other meat you choose), scrambled eggs, cheese, all wrapped in a thin flour tortilla. The breakfast burrito also comes with a side of sour cream and salsa verde, plus an additional side. I chose fried potatoes. I got my breakfast burrito to go, like you should. Do people eat burritos sitting down in a restaurant? Aren't they made to be eaten in a car, precariously gripped in one hand, with the other had on the steering wheel, maneuvering around roundabouts? Or in a car, dripping sweat into the to-go container as you hover over it to shove the last bits of burrito into your face after a vigorous yoga session? Burritos are meant to be eaten in cars, obviously, so I got my breakfast burrito to go. Burritos, like many things, taste better when they're eaten in a car. When I visited Mornings early in the morning, the music was blasting in the dining room. I don't know if they always have it this loud, or if maybe they were just trying to pump up the staff, or if maybe I'm just old and everything is loud now, but the music was very loud. Like, "raise your voice to talk to the person across the table" loud. I guess just keep that in mind. Or let that be yet another sign that you need to get your food to go and eat it in your car.
