Vickie's flowers is amazing. My mom recently passed and we went to Vickie's flowers to purchase a casket spray and a floral arrangement to surround her picture. We had an idea of what he wanted it to look like but we were still worried it might not turn out as we would like. First process was the consultation and we wanted to make some modifications to the sample that were shown ( leaves, flower types, etc). In the end, they delivered on time and the floral arrangement turned out even better than expected. We are so thankful to Vickie's flowers and look forward to using them for any future floral arrangement we may need. The woman ( I forgot her name) who does the arrangement is also so sweet. She gave her insight on what she think will look better and in the end gave my sister and I two bouquets when we told her we will also visit our grandfather who is at Forest Lawn and a separate decorated single rose for us to take home. read more

I decided to use this business based solely upon the few Yelp reviews that they have received. The place I usually use for flowers went under new ownership, so I've just been going here and there for flowers, never too satisfied and never too disappointed. Everywhere was just mediocre, until I gave Vickies a try. I wanted to get roses for my girlfriend, and I called in to order them. I figured I didn't really need to actually step in to the shop to order, I would see the shop when I came to pick up the flowers. The lady was super friendly and accommodating, and made sure I was satisfied with my decision and well taken care of. I ordered pink roses, and when I went to pick them up, even I was shocked at how beautiful they were and how nice the arrangement looked. Roses were ready for me on time as promised and arrangement was breathtaking. Can't really ask for much more. As someone who buys flowers for my mom and significant other on a fairly regular basis, I will be more than happy to use Vickie's as my sole provider of flowers from now on! read more

I purchased orchids here for my former supervisor, who is retiring. She is very special to me and I wanted something to reflect that. I actually called a few shops prior to this and I didn't like the assembly line persona they provided over the phone. If I am dropping a few bills on a product I at least expect some simple courtesy. I'm not expecting anyone to fawn over me like I'm the Queen of the Nile (despite my delusional thoughts of being such), but pleasantries go a long way for most people. I received this at the flower shop and much more. Not only were they tremendously helpful, they provided me with last minute service and, prior to delivery, sent me a text message of the display. With a nominal seven dollar delivery charge I consider this top shelf service. Don't take it from me. See below the email received from my former supervisor: "OMG! Are you kidding? They are so beautiful. I have NEVER seen an arrangement like this. Thanks so much for thinking of me and for the thoughtful, beautiful gift." Now, my former supervisor is from someone who is not easily moved or excited, AND has her OWN backyard garden which is half an acre and second to none in terms of aesthetic value. We were looking for last minute flower bouquets for Mothers Day and stumbled upon this place after not finding anything at Ralph's and other flower shops. We tried to avoid going to a flower shop because we thought they might be overpriced for Mother's Day but this place proved us wrong. They were so helpful and friendly and they were able to put together three bouquets for us within twenty minutes or so. The bouquets were reasonably priced and they wrapped it really cute. The employees were super friendly and one of them even blew up a balloon to give to my son because she saw my 18 month old playing with the balloons on the door. We online ordered an arrangement to be delivered to a Cypress address from New Zealand. (Ordered just before midnight on Friday NZ time, so Thursday night CA time). When we woke up in the morning, we've received a photo message of the flowers from the recipient! We were so happy that the flowers arrive on time and very close to the image they've put on the site (as we really want them to be delivered today). We've never ordered flowers from a USA based site, and there were so many florists to choose from, and we found the zip codes and the taxing confusing. My visit was for my father on his anniversary of passing! My first time here at Vickie's Flowers across from Cypress Forest Lawn. I saw a pre-made bouquet with a Lavender rose. I'm a really picky person when it comes to details such as flowers and so i know how difficult it can be to help me find the perfect arrangement but the customer service at Vickie's Flowers is so great. The people there are super friendly and very patient, they dont try to wave you off. They have the freshest flowers...i've been to other florists and the flowers at Vickie's last the longest in terms of freshness. There is alot of variety of different types of arrangements and they always seem to know how to prepare something to my liking...which is awesome. The delivery is very prompt and efficient and they even deliver for free to Forest Lawn in Cypress for funerals...which is a really sweet deal! OVerall this place is great! Not sure why Vickie's doesn't have more reviews because they deserve it. I came here years ago to get flowers for proms and graduations and after going to other flower shops, I'm back. Although there are plenty of florists closer to Cerritos, the 15-20 min drive to Vickie's is well worth it. I went to place an order for an arrangement today and was reminded why Vickie's is my favorite place to get flowers. FLOWERS: Always beautiful and fresh. QUALITY: The arrangements are reasonably priced, especially when you take the craftsmanship into consideration. Have you ever paid $50 for a bouquet and could tell it was thrown together minutes before you picked it up? NOT HERE. The employees here take time and care even when wrapping up a single rose. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Answered all the questions I had with a pleasant and cheerful attitude. They were thorough in asking for my preferences and showing me my options within my budget. I really appreciated how they provided recommendations but gave me the room to make the final call. Customer service was great. I called ahead to get a price range for sympathy flowers and the gentleman that helped me answered all my questions. I made an appointment for 5:30pm. He told me that he will be leaving at 5:00pm but the designer will be there to assist me. He warned me that her English is limited but she can understand very well. I told him that I don't mind as long as there are pictures of arrangements so I can just point to her the ones that I like. I arrived exactly at 5:30pm and the gentleman I spoke with over the phone welcomed me to the store. It was very nice of him to stay to make sure that the designer and I will understand each other. It was almost closing time but they still took the time to show me pictures of different arrangements until I found the most suitable one. I ordered two arrangements, a spray and a basket. The prices was very reasonable and since I ordered two they gave me a good discount. The designer was very sweet, she gave me a nicely arranged two pink long stem roses before leaving the store. I live in Texas and was in town for my mother-in-law's funeral. Vickie's Flowers is right across the street from Forest Lawn Cypress. I needed flower arrangements for the viewing the very next day. I thought because they were across the street that they would be really expensive, but they are actually comparable to the surrounding florists. The staff were extremely helpful. They had a wide selection to choose from. Their arrangements are beautiful. What looks like a $300 spray only cost me $150. I highly recommend Vickie's Flowers. read more

I mean I could just go to a Vons for much cheaper but I love this place they know exactly what I need and exactly how to put a smile on my girls face. For a long time I always thought flowers were a waste of money because they die so quickly, and why buy something at a fancy shop when I can put a few flowers together myself? SO WRONG!!!! I went to Vickie's first for a mothers day. Their arrangements are BEAUTIFUL!! They have an assortment of gorgeous pre-made and READY TO GO arrangements (with ribbon and everything!) My mom SPECIFICALLY likes a certain flower and color which they didn't already have made, but that was okay. The designer came up front and talked me through putting a beautiful arrangement in a vase together that was within my price range. All the girls that work there are so sweet and very helpful. I can also say that the quality of the flowers AND design of their work is far better than anything I have seen. I also went back there for a corsage and got a BEAUTIFUL orchid one. They brought all the ribbon out and even let me choose the best one to go with my dress. I went to other places and shopped around for the best value and this was definitely it.
