Decent Vicky Bakery! Got their guava pastries and they were fresh and affordable and sizable! They had a large selection of empanadas that I'd return to try. Staff were friendly and service was quick.

While at school in Miami, Vicky Bakery was a cornerstone of my experience. Their cafe con leche helped me numerous times stay awake through my last class of the day, and their cheese tequeno satisfied my hunger until I was able to have an actual meal later in the day. Now I'm post-grad and working full-time, but Vicky Bakery has remained that life-line. On this particular day, I needed an afternoon pick-me up, so of course I got a hot cafe con leche with some sugar, and a cheese tequeno. It was the perfect boost I needed to finish off the day, just like it was before. If you happen to enjoy your coffee and food in the store, you have a nice selection of seating to choose from, and friendly service to help you. Never change Vicky.

Today I needed to cheer myself up from some bad news & decided to get some empanadas. Jose was so patient & kind as I decided what to order. The bakery was clean & tidy. I got both beef & spinach empanadas and a slice of cheesecake. Thank you Jose for brightening my day.

Que bueno! Vicky bakery is so delicious always, probably the best franchise/chain in south Florida. All the Cuban hits all the time. When you see the window of treats... croquetas, pastelitos, empanadas...... it's a great feeling. Cafecito is a must, get your Cuban coffee! I have ordered rum cakes here that always go well at parties.

The best time to go is first thing in the morning to get fresh pastry's. I enjoy guava and cheese pastry's and the ones at vickies

Great Cuban Sandwich 100% reccomend. Good service not a long wait and was absolutely delicious.

10/10 Highly Recommend! I've been going to the Vicky Bakery on University for the past 4 years -- and without a doubt, it is the best Vicky location. The quality of the food, the service, and the attention to customer care here truly stand out. My job requires a lot of driving, so I often visit different Vicky Bakery locations depending on where I am. While the overall brand is great, I've found that not all locations are consistent -- except this one. If I had to choose one spot that delivers a great experience every single time, it would be the University location across from Nova. And I can't leave out the coffee! The café con leche here is the best, thanks to Lisette -- an amazing barista who always greets me with a warm smile and cheerful conversation. The coffee is a perfect start to my day every time. Highly recommend this location -- 10/10!

Main reason for my rating is because of the service. It's not bad, it's just never done with a smile. I've gone during the week, weekends, early mornings and afternoons, and it's always the same - I feel like I'm bothering whoever takes my order. So, I stopped expecting the friendly energy, and just keep going back for the coffee, food and pastries. They are your typical Cuban bakery quality; delicious and hit the spot! The jam croquettas and guava and cheese pastries are my go to. If you're good with a quick, friendly-less interaction, for some fire Cuban treats, this is your place. A little side note, I just read some of the lesser reviews and maybe you should check them out before you go to be sure this place is for you.

Stopped in today, nothing changed, it's actually worse than last time. I honestly have no clue why people come here. Stale, cold pastries & a joke of a chicken sandwich. Officially the worst "Cuban" bakery in s Florida by far.

We come here a lot and this morning we got breakfast to go. They called my name and handed me my bag of food, but when I got home I noticed I was MISSING a part of my order. I had to drive 30 mins to pick it up, when I did arrive there was NO APOLOGY or anything at all for the mistake that was made. It wasn't even busy, and when I told them what happened and I just got blank stares and someone handed me my food. I expected better customer service and it's super DISSAPOINTING, there are lots of great Cuban bakeries around and we chose to spend our money here, but the lack of even acknowledging their mistake makes me not wanna come back. Driving and extra 30 mins on my day off is not how I wanted to start my day.

Fast delivery. Empanadas were soft in the middle and crispy on the outside. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

The shop is clean, has a cozy and welcoming design, and the staff is always kind and friendly. I also love their beautiful packaging--it makes every visit feel a little extra special. The strip looked sort of familiar and when we left, we realized we'd been to the Pho restaurant at the other end. There used to be a Piu Bello in isla Verde/San Juan that we frequented on biz trips there. Turns out this place is not related. It's an independent that has been in this location about a year. But I was curious about the name. I looked it up and Piu means in Italian more or extra. That's a fitting description of the gelato here -- which is beyond all expectations and absolutely delicious. I've always known that there is less fat and calories in gelato than in ice cream. But even if that were not true, I wouldn't care. This gelato is so creamy and rich; it's the definition of sinful. And more than worth every damn calorie! Before deciding what to get, I tried their coffee gelato (very good) and one other. I chose to get a small cup with coconut and chocolate sorbet. I loved them both. The chocolate was like eating dark chocolate ganache. And it went well with the coconut -- which had small bits of actual coconut in it. My husband got their passion fruit gelato -- a medium cup sized portion. And our friends shared the dulce de leche with extra caramel in it. This really was some of the best gelato I've eaten in a very, very long time (and I'm old!). Do I wish I lived closer? Yes. Am I sort of glad I don't? Yes. Cause I'd be here every day....trying all their flavors.

The Gelato team are eager to help you find your favorite and suggest something deliciously different. My choice was my Favorite Passion fruit, smooth and wonderfully FIVE STAR delicious!
