You guys, these reviews do not lie! I was a tad bit skeptical at first since almost all of the reviews are 5 stars, but that's just because these guys genuinely care about you & your car. The other day the front brakes in my car unexpectedly went out and I almost got into a fender bender, but thankfully my back breaks still worked and I was already around the corner from a Pep Boys. They checked out my car, but tried to up charge me on replacing my front right break wire on top of some other unnecessary charges to where my bill was already racking up to $800+ (even though my car is an old 2006 Kia that isn't even valued at half of that price anymore). I don't know anything about cars, but immediately knew I was getting scammed over something so minuscule. I am originally from Texas so I didn't know anyone here in LA that could help me at the time, so my last resort was to download Yelp and use that random "Get a quote in your area" tab cause I was running out of options & daylight. That's when Vic's got back to me almost instantly after my message with a quote that was not even a quarter of what Pep Boy's was trying to charge me. I then (carefully, but slowly lol) began to drive through the back roads to try to get my car to their shop. When I finally arrived, Allen & his team were so welcoming and considerate. They offered me water, snacks and place to wait at the shop as they fixed up my car. They even showed me where the exact problem in my car was. After realizing that it was going to take more than a day to fix since they needed a specific part, I hopped on the nearest bus to take me home and called it a night. The next day, they called to inform me that the part they got shipped to the shop was the wrong one, but that it would still be done by that afternoon. Later when I went to pick it up, my car worked as good as new! They told me that the part that was missing was specific to my car's model to where they had to drive over 40 miles just to get the right one. I was amazed especially since the price I had to pay was still the same price we initially agreed on, but felt bad that they went through all of that trouble just for me that I gave them a little more than what they were asking for. Without a doubt, I would definitely recommend making the trip to their shop if you don't know much about cars, but need any repairs at an extremely affordable price with some amazing service! read more

This was a really great experience from start to finish, I highly recommend you talk to this mechanic for quotes if you live in the city. City prices can be a little ridiculous, if you have the time and are willing to drive a ways out to the valley for service, you will not be disappointed. I needed new spark plugs and my check engine light went on recently, I called around and yelp messaged for quotes and this place was much more affordable for me. Lots of places say they can't give you a quote until you bring the car in and they charge you to do a diagnostic which doesn't make sense to me.. parts come with a cost and labor comes with a cost, it's not rocket science, just let me know if the repair is going to cost a closer to a few hundred or a few thousand. I was given an estimate fairly quickly via Yelp for the repair I requested from this mechanic, the first good sign. Brought my car in, the mechanic gladly ran a diagnostic for me and found that I also needed a new air flow sensor. Before they began working on my car they explained everything and made sure to confirm why I thought my spark plugs needed to be changed. The price quote I was given for the spark plugs on yelp was the same price quote I was given in person and the air flow sensor price quote was on par with the average you will find in a google search. When they were finished the mechanic showed me what he fixed and explained everything again before taking my money. The shop has a narrow uphill driveway and the guys even offered to back the car out for me which I thought was very nice. The whole repair took less than 2 hours and there is a nice coffee shop down the street where you can wait. THANK YOU! read more
