On 2/3/26 I called to report that I had a check engine light on in my Certified Pre Owned 2019 Ram 1500 (from my e-torque system), my remote start was not working (likely due to the CEL), I needed my yearly NYS inspection, and it was my opinion that my truck was suffering from the very common exhaust manifold crack/leak that has plagued the new generation Ram trucks. They were able to get me in first thing in the morning on 2/5/26. I wanted them to check it out and address any concerns as it is still within the original factory powertrain warranty, and I also have a CPO warranty and an additional aftermarket warranty (surely one of these would cover any issues). The service advisor approached me in the waiting area to let me know that there were no stored codes or indications that there was an issue with my E-torque system. He also mentioned that I needed a new engine oil pan (to the tune of $2,000), Rotors and Pads on all 4, wiper blades (to pass NYS Inspection), and they did not hear/see any issues with my exhaust manifold (a culprit of the famous "Hemi Tick"). I had them install new wiper blades and inspect my vehicle. I asked my service advisor if he could see if the oil pan was under warranty, and was immediately told "they won't cover it." I paid my bill and went outside to my truck. When I got to my truck and started it, the ticking noise was very apparent so I went and got the service advisor to show him. He grabbed the shop manager to come and listen as well. Immediately the shop manager says, "he's right the manifold is cracked, we need to get the vehicle in to repair this." I went back inside and the service advisor stated that he would get the manifold on order. I contacted RAM Care to discuss whether or not the oil pan was covered under any warranty that I had on my truck and was informed that they would cover it and that I needed to give this dealership a reference number. This for me was strike one. I asked the advisor to advocate for me and was dismissed as it didn't seem like it was something he wanted to do, so I had to take it upon myself. I notified the service advisor that I had spoken to Ram Care and they gave me a reference number and told me that it would be covered under the "Corrosion Warranty". He was surprised as he's "never heard of such a thing". Once again I was assured that they would order the parts and get my truck fixed. At this point, I went to whom I believe to be the General Manager of the dealership to express my disappointment in the way that this was handled. He spoke to the two men in the service department and vowed to make this right. Chris was the service advisor that would help me from here on out. Two weeks later, and no communication from the dealership as to when I could expect the parts to be received in order for my truck to be repaired. Ram sent me multiple emails asking me to rate my latest service experience at Victor CDJR. I was honest in my survey. I did not give the service department good ratings. The dealership was clean, the waiting area and amenities were sufficient. I rated them well in this aspect. I noted that I would likely not recommend this dealership to others as this experience has certainly put a bad taste in my mouth. Now, here's where it gets interesting. On 2/20/26, Approximately 4 hours after I submitted my review to Ram (corporate), I get a phone call from the service advisor, Chris. "We've received the survey that you filled out and I've talked to my boss. At this point we are going to part ways with you. We are confident that we cannot make you happy. Whichever dealer you take your car to is welcome to request the parts for your truck from us." All because I filled out a survey honestly. No phone call from any management of this dealer. If this is the way that customers are treated for being honest, I will gladly spend my money elsewhere. Never in my life would I expect such a childish response from any dealership. My vehicle is still not repaired, and I'm on the hunt for a dealership that values their customers. read more

I had a terrible experience with Victor Chrysler that I feel compelled to share. It took them nearly two months to fix my vehicle. Throughout this period, I called every few days for updates, only to be repeatedly lied to. They claimed they were working on my vehicle when, in reality, it hadn't even moved from the parking lot. Fortunately, a friend who lived nearby kept me informed about its location, confirming that it sat untouched for a month. And I'm not even being dramatic it actually took that long. I asked the dealership for a loaner vehicle to get back and forth to work, but they consistently told me they had none available. I was left with no choice but to use Uber and some days just call in sick, which cost me a lot of money given that my commute is thirty-five minutes each way. The situation became so frustrating that I had to involve the manufacturer, Chrysler, which is unbelievable in itself. Finally, when they ordered the part, Chrysler's customer support team contacted me to confirm its arrival. However, when I called the dealership, they denied having received it. I knew they were lying because the manufacturer's email included a photo of the part being delivered. To make matters worse, I hadn't even had the vehicle for a full year, and it's a lease. I strongly advise against bringing your vehicle to Victor Chrysler or buying a vehicle from them. They are a terrible business, and it's astonishing they're not out of business given all the negative reviews they have. And it's funny because when I was on the phone with them and when I finally picked up my vehicle they asked if I could give them a perfect survey. GTFO read more

Would give negative rating for customer service if I could. No concern for customer needs, poor attention to detail and blatant lying. Was told our car would be taken care of within week when we had it towed for maintenance issue. The next day was informed they couldn't even look at our car for two more weeks and have no loaners available. Spoke with two "leaders" - neither of which cared to actual help find a workable solution and told me that my experience "did not matter". Looking at other reviews on the service provided, will eagerly pay out of pocket to have car serviced elsewhere. Should have done more research in advance but think we dodged a bullet getting our car out of here ASAP. read more

Update: Dropping my rating a bit. Victor CDJR didn't have the spare key fob for my new Jeep. It's been 3 weeks and no reasonable degree of effort or communication on their part to replace it... Was supposed to be here last Friday, now it's back ordered. Feeling like I'm getting a run around. If they asserted themselves to cleaning up this little detail like Tyler did with acquiring the car to begin with this would've been resolved two weeks ago. They still did a great job getting me the car that I wanted at a great price... But the devil is in the details. read more

Shady....worst car buying experience of my life. I traded in my lease and entered into a new one. Everything went very smooth the day of, or so I thought. Weeks later I received a bill for wear and tear, excess mileage, and end of lease fees totally over 5K. These were all things the dealership said were taken care of during the new lease process. Almost 4 months later and Victor Chrysler still will not honor their saleman's agreement. Do not expect to receive any kind of customer service from them. They don't return phone calls and set meetings with people who have no authority to do anything. Continually wasting my time. Unless you are looking to be lied to and deal with the repercussions for months, I highly recommend using another dealership. read more

The absolute worst dealership I have ever dealt with in over 35 years or purchasing vehicles. ZERO STARS would be more appropriate. My husband and I were starting the car search for my son who would be getting his drivers license. We live near by this dealership so we decided to start at Victor Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The salesman was very friendly, gave us his life story on how he was a car salesman for decades, retired and this outfit begged him to come out of retirement and come work for them. We also got a whole story on how his teeth are rotting and he will need all new teeth so even a better reason to come out of retirement. A bit too much information but ok, we felt bad for the guy. Onto the car buying. The first thing and most important thing we made clear is that we want a vehicle with ALL the possible safety features we could get - blind spot, lane change assist, etc. We made clear that we would not compromise on 4 wheel drive IF the vehicles was Rear Wheel Drive. We wanted to lease a Jeep Wrangler but in order to get all the safety features we would need to go to a much more expensive model and that we did not want to do. So the salesguy says, we can get you into a Jeep Grand Cherokee with all the features you want and it will be completely in your price range. I was actually very surprised, and even asked - "you mean a Jeep Cherokee, right?" he says, no - a JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE! I then proceeded to ask - "A 4X4? 4 WHEEL DRIVE?!?" He said yes! Needless to say we were very happily surprised, he came back with the keys and said to take it out for a test drive. We approached the SUV, it said 4X4 Laredo. At this point we were thrilled. We test drove it, just as expected, drove great, had a bunch of nice features, heated seats, absolutely amazing for a 1st time new driver. AND.......ALL THE SAFETY FEATURES POSSIBLE AND A 4 WHEEL DRIVE IN THE WINTER! This mom was beyond happy! My husband and I looked at the lease price, it was great and we decided, why bother shopping around more, this was a great deal, we couldn't believe how affordable it was for a 4 WHEEL DRIVE SUV and we signed on the dotted line. Fast forward, this is where the con comes to light. THE JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO THAT THIS DEALERSHIP LEASED US IS NOT A 4 WHEEL DRIVE! IT IS A REAR WHEEL ALL WHEEL DRIVE WITHOUT THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE TRANSFER KIT THAT WOULD PUT THIS VEHICLE INTO A TRUE 4 WHEEL DRIVE MODE! Future Jeep Grand Cherokee buyers beware - times have changed, just because you will see the 4X4 logo in the back does not mean this is a 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE. This piece of garbage that we leased is a total disaster in the snow! SLIDES, FISHTAILS, NO TRACTION WHAT-SO-EVER! It's our fault we didn't do our own homework on the details of this vehicle, but we completely relied on this 2 time hustling salesguy to con us into leasing a vehicle that we are now in the process of turning in, less than into a year of this lease. We will lose money on this but there isn't an alternative, the car is not safe to drive in the winter, especially for a young driver. 1st snow of the season he slid into another vehicle in a parking lot going 5 miles/hour. I was with him. Oh - also - same Jeep - the tire pressure gauges have not worked from day 1 - we have asked I'd say at least a dozen times to have it fixed because they're showing low tire pressure - changes daily and the tire pressure is fine every time we drive into valvoline to fill the tires. Guess what - They have NEVER made right on this, never called back to let us know that they have a "FIX" for this. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP TO DO RIGHT BY THEIR CUSTOMER. Without question - this is the worst local dealership I have ever delt with in my life. A few other people have since told me that their experience with them was just as bad. My husband made an appointment in advance at a time when we were both available to test drive the Jeep plug-in electric hybrid - we had narrowed our new vehicle choices down to one of two options so we were serious buyers and it seemed like it kind of frustrated the folks at the dealership that they couldn't get us to look at other options. Most importantly, we were unable to adequately assess the Jeep because of the dealer's lack of planning. When we arrived at the scheduled time, the car was snowed in on their too-small lot and and it took a long time to bring get it out. Then we discovered that they *hadn't even charged* the battery so we were unable to use the Jeep in electric mode. This was literally the point of the test drive and was enormously frustrating. The back seat was also folded down and entirely filled with box holding the Jeep's soft top, obscuring our rear view and making it impossible to assess seating room. I wanted to know if it would be comfortable for our kids but the best they could offer was to let us look in the back seat of a similar model and tell us that the hybrid was a little smaller because of the battery. Staff seemed poorly motivated to sell this hybrid model and poorly prepared for our visit. As someone who missed work to for a scheduled test drive, I was really disappointed and would not go to this dealership again. This was about a month ago and they just now called to follow up. Don't know where to start regarding my experience with Victor CDJR. I recently purchased a used Corvette. Everyone on the staff was enormously helpful, Kellie who assisted by phone ( I live outside Buffalo) to Kevin Renna my salesperson to the business manager. Low pressure, helpful and knowledgeable. The vehicle was fairly priced and the experience was great. Further, this company has integrity, something that's in short supply too often. I say that as during the vehicle inspection the technician discovered dry rot on the inside of the tires. I would never have known. Instead of ignoring the issue or advising I'd need to replace the tire Victor CDJR replaced all of them at no charge. Not a cheap thing to do. If you're looking for honesty and integrity look no further. read more

scheduled vehicle to be serviced for 2 issues and a 3rd to be checked after a repair that occurred had been completed during a road trip. Vehicle was at dealership from 745 am until 500 pm. I was promised a ride to work 5 minutes down the road and had to pay for my own UBER since person who was to provide ride was going to be late to work. I asked what was done to fix the main issue I brought it in for and got a deer in the headlight look then got a dissertation on how the system works and we have to order the part "and we'll call you" when it's in. The amount of BS that was flowing out of this guys mouth made me want to grab a shovel. I think they forgot and fed me a line of crap to cover their ass, because that's what it seemed like especially since my husband works for a dealershi. read more

Brought car in for an oil change, tire rotation, and a general check-up Brought it in at 9 am. Told it would take an hour and a half. Left the dealership and called just before noon to be sure it was finished. Got the "they are just taking it in now" speech. Told it will be completed by mid-afternoon. Called at 4 PM "well he got called off the job and it will be done by 5". Went in about 5:30 saw tire rotation on the bill, except they did not do the tire rotation. How did I know? I marked a tire the night before with its location and it was in the same place. Guy went back to talk to the mechanic, who claimed (again) that he had done it. Said he saw the mark on a rear tire and moved it to the front. So it was either a lie, or he genuinely got confused which tires were which when he took them all off. Matters not to me either way. After the whole experience I am done with this dealership, I have lost all trust. Had an issue last year as well but I wrote it off to their moving to the new location. Prior to that, I had no problems when they were at the old place. Seems like they may have over-played their hand with the expansion. read more

I asked for a quote for a wheel hub sensors. They took my car and he called me the next day and said it was gonna be $549. I called for the shops with the highest estimate at $300. I do not recommend these guys their prices are very high! I felt like I was getting ripped off! Do not take your car there make sure you do your research! read more

Our experience with the service department had always been top notch. When our transmission failed on our Grand Caravan 400 miles outside of the factory warranty, they worked with dodge to cover all repairs. They've been amazing with loaners during our service time. We've gone there for maintenance as well and have always paid less than other dealerships have quoted. They've never done work that didn't absolutely need to be done. Of course they charge a little more than Joe Schmoe garage down the street - but we gladly pay for the knowledge, experience and care they provide (also, it's never been that much extra.) read more

After reading the two reviews on here, I was a bit hesitant to contact this dealer, but did have a good experience by visiting KBB, pricing the new Jeep I was interested in, and connecting with them via a search for leftover 2019s on the KBB site. A salesman contacted me soon after and sent me no hassle pricing. They even gave me a trade allowance after viewing a series of pictures! My vehicles are always in perfect condition, low mileage and well maintained, and I was given an allowance commiserate with that care. This dealer provided me with exactly the price I expected and delivered my new (demo) to me in immaculate condition. Do you enjoy being run through a series of "managers" at new car dealerships? I sure don't! The sales manager beats down your trade-in, then the accessory manager tries to up-sell you with dealer installed options and warranties, the finance manager sells you on a second rate financial institution in order to get a nice kickback. Well, if you enjoy that stuff, go to another dealership because you will NOT find any of that obnoxious activity taking place at Victor CDJR. I had a hitch installed, they could have put some aftermarket unit on, but no, it's a genuine Jeep part and was nicely done. Hate that cheap tire gloss sprayed all over your tires (and ultimately the paint)? I don't like it, and in fact, that product actually degrades rubber and vinyl materials. Simple. Request it not be used, and it was NOT used. That's a first for me, someone actually listened to my request and did what I asked! The mechanic that performed the work on my vehicle was thorough and neat. No grease on the door handles or steering wheel! Bravo! Give them some slack, it's a small building and not particularly fancy, but a new facility is being constructed across the road on 96. I took my ram truck there for a Evap sensor fault. Oil change and a battery fault. When I dropped off the truck at service I told them that I knew about the evap fault to give me an estimate on that and to check the low battery light fault. When I picked up the truck they had a bill for me of $230 to diagnose the two problems. Plus $80 for oil change but I wanted that. The evap sensor that I told them about when I dropped the vehicle off they charged me for an hour or labor for that. And an hour of labor to tell me my brand new battery was not holding a full charge, which was a wrong diagnostic. I do not recommend taking your vehicle to this dealership for service. I feel like they are overcharging and ripping people off to pay for there new expansion. I took my vehicle to my normal mechanic. Next to McDonalds in Farmington they are great guys there and really know there stuff. They told me it was the alternator that was starting to go. Did not charge for the diagnostic. read more

My wife bought a used Jeep Wrangler 2 years ago from here and it was the worst god for awful dealership I've ever been too before. My wife was happy the day she got it until they told her it had 2 keys which was a lie, second she told them to send over the buyers guide to her credit union and they sent her credit out to 4 different banks without her approval and then when she found out that's what they did they argued with her telling her you signed the credit application so they have legal rights to send it to the banks they deal with I mean who does that . They are not trust worthy at all I could go on and on about the crazy things that they pulled but I don't have the time go elsewhere because you'll wish you did later read more

Husband works in Victor so saw a new deal on a Jeep on a commercial and this was a brand spanking new dealership so he went in to look. Dealership was more at a warehouse/barn place and the employees were more focused on selling a limited selection of Fiat Chrysler vehicles and performing maintenance on people's vehicles. The deals were okay but my husband either did not see what he was looking for or was not sold on any offer. We ended up buying a new Jeep from our local Fiat Chrysler dealer after Halloween. read more

Was perfectly happy with my purchase until got home and realized one key fob didn't work. Of course I felt something seemed odd when salesmen handed me key with yellow tag and told me I'd receive second key from finance manager who handed me key with orange tag ( my feeling is so they could tell them apart) . I had in fact been told at two other cdjr dealerships that in many cases they were delivering vehicles with only one key due to chip shortage second Key coming from factory shortly thereafter. I was in fact pleased to get both keys but soon disappointed to find something amiss with one of the keys. Not being familiar with Jeep keyless entry spent about 2.5 hours on first evening of ownership going through Jeep.com for keyless entry and google to learn how to open brand new key fobs to switch batteries in order to discern one fob not working. Contacted salesmen on Monday and was told " probably just needs reprogramming " so drove the +- 25 minutes to dealership and waited only to be told the non working key fob not even for my model vehicle. " These things never happen but not our fault" was exactly the statement made by the salesman. We'll have to order one and you'll have to come get it when it comes in. The finance manager had no issue quoting me +-$130 per hour mechanics rate when offering me extended warranty so I had no problem suggesting that they comp me the $400 spare tire kit I had to order as none came with the vehicle . After all by the time I finally got the key on my second round trip visit I easily had over five hours wrapped up in this key debacle. The response I received to this suggestion was" these thing happen and it's not our fault". Integrity being doing the right thing when you don't have to does not appear to be part of this dealerships business model. In fact in my opinion not sure even a modest level of honesty exists therein. Having been in construction for over 40 years and having to turn over completed commercial sized projects to customers not once in my life did I hand someone something that was less than they paid for let alone tell a customer "not my fault". Probably why I had multiple repeat customers which is something I won't be at victor cdjr in fact I won't return to this dealership for the factory included oil changes. Just to be very clear in my opinion honesty being the best policy had I been told straight out " we only have one key due to chip shortage" and never mind the run around it certainly would have been a different experience and definitely wouldn't be writing this . Can I prove there is a chip shortage causing key problems. No but every word of this is 100% true in my opinion and written to the best of my recollection. read more
