I have been going to Victor for at least 2 years now. I certainly hope nothing ever happens to him, because he is the only person who has been able to get my hair how I want it. I have very straight hair and I am very low maintenance when it comes to my hair, I can barely use a curling iron. The way he cuts layers into my hair allows for me to just give it a quick "zhuzh" and have it looking perfectly styled. he is also the only person who has gotten my hair the shade of silver I want, which has been very difficult for stylists to do for me in the past. He is honest about what my hair needs and what can be accomplished with it. His technique has also kept my hair extremely healthy, despite being a high level blonde there's virtually no sign of damage. On top of all this, the atmosphere of the salon is amazing with a great view of the ocean. Robert, who also helps in the salon, is so nice as well and will make sure you're all set up with a drink while you have your appointment, get you or recommend you one of the products from their amazing line of products, and set up your future appointments. Even the assistant stylists he has are great and help expedite the service so that you're not waiting around forever, I personally get pretty antsy during long hair appointments. Josh is pretty amazing at what he does. I decided to get a cut with him from a Groupon cert. I told him my life style and what I did for work, and he was able to cut accordingly. The salon feels more tight-knit too. The different salons I've been to in the past have a ton of people doing a ton of different things (ie: there is a person washing your fair, bringing you a glass of water, another person bringing you water, and obviously there is the actual stylist). When the receptionist saw me, she offered me a coffee and went to check on my appt. Turns out the hair stylist, whom I was there to see, didn't show up. The receptionist texted her and was texted back saying she was sick. I rescheduled the appointment but I really needed the hair cut for an event I had to attend that day. Well it happens. My coffee never came and I wasn't even offered to see another professional that same day. Decided to try this place because of the great reviews and because my hair is super curly. Went here 11/15/14 for a Brazilian Blowout and a haircut. The stylist was very nice and the place was very clean. I liked the haircut and the treatment process took a long time but looked fine, I was pleased when I left. Before leaving the stylist told me if there were any problems just to call her. I was careful and followed all the instructions in order to keep the blowout treatment and even purchased a $30 Shampoo specifically for brazilian blow outs so it can "last longer". After the first wash, my hair was completely back to normal. I was VERY disappointed because there was zero difference. I called the salon and left a message for my stylist. The next time I washed my hair I noticed my hair was very dry and seemed brittle. About three weeks after the treatment my hair started falling out in HUGE clumps, it falls out very easily now. When I shower there are huge bundles of hair, when I try to brush my hair even more falls out, even sleeping or laying against the couch full bundles of hair come off. I have called back 3 different times, left messages with receptionist and she only says "your stylist isn't here today" "your stylist is sick" or they will get back to me (left my name and phone number). I am tired of waiting and am completely upset by the damage to my hair. I feel like I am going bald! And I am only 21 years old! Horrible customer service, I do not recommend anyone going here for hair treatment. read more

I've been addicted to this salon ever since Jordan gave me a Brazilian blowout! My hair has never looked so great and easy to take care of! I recently saw him again last week for balayage. I went in for a consult and he was very thorough in listening to my thoughts and coming up with a vision of the perfect color to complement the warm tones in my hair. He listened to my concerns about needing a low maintenance color and also about the previous ombré that is fading on my hair. He educated me about the process and presented me a slower but healthier option to keep the integrity of my hair. It was a lengthy process but the color came out perfectly, very natural. This salon is fabulous! When I walked in, I was warmly welcomed into the salon. They went to the back and got my stylist. Jordan greeted me with a great smile and walked me back to his chair. He spent a good amount of time understanding my hair and what I wanted to see differently. As we were discussing options he was very educating on why we would do it one way versus the other. He really did leave no questions unanswered. I had scheduled a balayage, a Brazilian blowout and a cut. We knew I was going to be there for a while. Jordan never made me feel like I was a burden or rushed in any way. Once the color was completed, there was a spot we agreed could use a bit more lifting, so he did jus that. Then took time and went the extra mile to curl it, so I could see how it would fall and ensure I was 100% satisfied. Now we moved on to the clarifying wash of my hair. He gave me an incredible scalp massage, I am not upset my hair required 3 washes to be done. We had nice conversation the whole time without being too personal. After the Solution was put on, I was sat under the dryer to set the blowout, while there I enjoyed a lovely glass of wine. Now off to the blow dry and flat ironing for the Brazilian. He was gentle with my hair and gave the roots a bit of volume with the way he positioned the flat iron. The cut ... swoon... I love the way he cut my hair. To sum up my visit, 10 stars, two thumbs up, I couldn't be happier. Jordan has an amazing technique his attention to detail is unparalleled, and he is incredibly knowledgeable about what he does. Josh did an amazing job with my hair! It was really long and unhealthy and to the point where my ends were so damaged, dry and split that nothing was fixing it. Josh was able to bring more layers, volume and movement to my hair while keeping as much length as possible. He was super kind and accommodating even though i was taking a work call for most of the hair cut. Her studio is very clean and I can tell she takes hygiene very seriously. The ultimate professional in every manner. I just recently had a birthday and decided to do something different so I went from a brunette to a blonde and Cut off 9 inches of hair. I was ready for a change plus I heard blondes have more fun and who doesn't want more fun! Josh my stylist was ready and very excited to walk me through my metamorphosis. It was a 3 step, 7 hour process. He was so careful not to over do the processing since this involves some hard core bleaching. The result was amazing! The blending and and toning of a light ash brown, dark blond with subtle brightness of true blonde infused magnificently to give a natural look was nothing other than a masterpiece! They were exceeded. Ginger was extremely positive and had excellent insight into curly hair. My hair is thick and not always the easiest to handle, but she knew just how to cut it and color it. Like really -- she took a solid 5 hours to make sure the results were perfect. No joke, and well worth the time. + Specifics: I was unsure if I wanted to stick to my traditional highlighting or get balayage done. I asked Ginger for her opinion, and she recommended the latter. I'm glad she did. I've gotten SO MANY compliments on it since then. I initially walked out of the salon feeling like it maybe it was a little too *light, but I grew to love it within a day. + One note, she charged extra because of the amount of toner she had to use. Every time I've had Brazilian Blowouts done by other people, it's taken them up to 3.5 hours; however, Andrea gets me in and out of there in less than an hour and 15 minutes! I made my appointment, showed up and found out that Mel.. the receptionist made my appointment for only a hair cut. . Ginger was very sweet. She offered to wash and blow dry my hair for free. I said yes. I made another appointment for my hair cut, highlights that following week. I wanted to go a little darker blond. But, I think ginger had her mind set on with what she wanted to do?. Long story short... The highlights took 5 hours. It looked ok. Very ashy blond! The next day, my hair was super dry( didn't wash it) for a week! My Cashmere sweater I wore. Had bleach marks on the back. I called the salon... Spoke to a guy. He said he would have ginger call me back! She never did.. It's really sad that it didn't work out.
