Bought my first decent charcoal herringbone suit in November 2012 and immediately sought out a tailor for alterations. Victor's was the place I ended up and his service exceeded my expectations; I left a week later with a smart suit tailored to my frame. Since then, I've brought an assortment of button-down shirts, pants, and casual jackets to be fitted to my exact dimensions. Take this as you please, I have taken Victor over 10 complete suits as I work in a professional setting. I get the measurements taken by Victor and every time he has to redo my sleeves and the bottom of my pants. Let's keep it real...if he measuring and doing the cutting..there shouldn't be a reason why he has to "re-do" the suits. Is there? Again...more than 10 suits I have taken..this last time was the last. I took him two suits and same thing...he measured, I picked up 1.5 weeks later and it was off by a whole inch on bottom and sleeves were wrong. I leave for another week, feeling confident I brought home and to my surprise they are wrong again...his wife charged me $70.00 to tailor 2 suits because he had to "re-do" like if that was my fault?? Any ways...go at your own risk, all my experience had been bad and I will not return. Good luck! read more

Awesome place, better than the last guy we went to, and much better than having the cleaners do it. Dress pants came out very professional looking, and he was even able to fix jeans hem that the last guy made too short! We also did the arms on dress shirts and they came out perfect, feels like the shirts were tailor made from the start. Once was to remake a prom dress that was a bit to revealing for my special needs daughter for Night To Shine prom at Crossroads Christian Church.He worked w/us on making straps for the dress so she would be less self conscious. The dress came out beautifully we were very happy w/his work. Best to give him a significant amount of time to get the job done, he gets quite busy ,sometimes does not meet his time commitment and no one calls to let you know it won't be done as promised! Thank you Victor! I recently got married and my ceremony outfit (an Indian leghna) needed some serious alterations. I had taken it to a place in Los Angeles and another place in Artesia twice and left with it still a mess. I was desperate with three weeks left till my wedding. I decided to stop by and take my chances with Victor (thanks to the other Yelp reviews). Best decision! I tried on my outfit and began explaining the issues and he knew exactly what I wanted before I was finished talking. He fitted the blouse to me, adjusted the train connected to the skirt, and even put a wrist-let so the train wouldn't drag when I didn't want it to. The biggest issue was making the blouse fit nicely since it was a somewhat complicated design. Victor had the outfit ready within a week and was flexible with my pickup time since I came from LA. The price was very reasonable, his hours are great, and I left a happy customer. I even sent my dad here for some quick alterations on his suit. Whether you have American clothes, Indian clothes, or whatever, Victor can fix it. I know where I'm coming the next time I need alterations. Victor rocks! read more

I took a dress here for alterations because it needed to be taken in at the waist. I don't know what they did to the dress, but it looks awful. There is a lot of fabric bunching on the waist and lower back. When I went in to get the dress, I paid with a debit card. I handed the lady my card and she aced me if I had cash. I told her no. She asked me again, as if I were lying. Then she said I better bring cash next time, even though they had the debit/credit card machine. She was rude. And my dress is ugly now. I am so disappointed. read more

*WARNING* I'm only giving them a one star because there is nothing lower, they deserve a 0. I have been using Victor for the last two years whenever I need alterations done, which is not as often. He has done a good job but the last two times Victor didnt have my articles ready on the day he committed to. The first time I let it slide, big mistake. Victor and his wife didnt even offer a discount for the inconvinience. I let it go and recently took him some articles to alter. Usually Victor does the measuring but this time his wife did. She was rude and short. I specifically asked to have the items ready within a week, they agreed. I came in the day after original pick up and my items werent ready. Victor looked flusteted and asked to come later. So I came in the following day to get my articles. As I tried them on I noticed Victor did a poor job. I asked him and his wife (nicely) if I would get discount from my total for the inconvinience and me not been pleased with the results. I wasnt asking to get the service for free. Both Victor and his wife began to scream ( i mean it when i say they where screaming) at me and argued that I should of called before showing up and that he did a great job in what I asked to be altered. Lies! To top it off they didn't take my card saying their debit wasn't working. Which was a lie. I had to go get cash in order to get my articles. I will never go back to them. As I read other bad reviews about them it all makes sense. They are liers, have no scense of how provide customer service and take 0 accountability for their mistakes. Stay away!!!! read more

I should have listened to all of the other reviews. The tailor took a perfectly good formal tail coat and destroyed it. Without asking, he shortened the tail on the coat and now it is too short and it looks comical. Never again. read more

I took my uniforms to be altered and he removed the patches off the sleeve. When I asked what happen to the patches he said it was already like that! They don't even sell the shirts without the patches. He just walked away from me. This man was very rude and his tailoring is horrible. read more
